Me too.
502  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ROUND #2] DoubleTrouble + Bonus for last sender on: June 28, 2011, 03:59:11 PM
I sent 0,965 BTC or something because your post said "Minimum deposit of 0.5 BTC".

But then I saw the spreadsheet and it said minimum 1 BTC. Which one is it? If it's the latter, I didn't mean my bet to be a donation. (sorry hehe)
503  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just Another Double Trouble (long term) on: June 28, 2011, 03:52:29 PM
Because of there being less bets than I thought there would be, the minimum bet size to extend the game for 24h has been lowered to 0,5 BTC.
504  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just Another Double Trouble (long term) on: June 28, 2011, 10:51:14 AM
Total doubled profits are nearing 8 BTC Smiley
505  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just Another Double Trouble (just started) on: June 27, 2011, 07:37:48 PM
So far about 4 bitcoins has been doubled!

Some tactics that are allowed and encouraged:

- Betting to avoid game end if you have a larger bet still undoubled
- Advertising for the game to bring in more betters
- Spreading your large bet over several smaller ones to avoid intimidation
- Ninja-betting to grab the leftover pot when the game is nearing the end

Remember: This is a tactial game, not just luck and gambling Grin
506  Economy / Gambling / Just Another Double Trouble (ENDED) on: June 27, 2011, 04:11:05 PM
I'm starting another double trouble scheme, because I think they are great fun, especially when you win   Wink

This is a semi-long term run, it starts now and ends after 24h without any bet 0,5 BTC or more. This means this game could potentially last for weeks, and therefore it is not just a race against the clock, although being early doesn't hurt! The leftover pot will be paid to the last person that submitted a bet when the game is over.

It's not really Double Trouble, the profit index is 1.7, meaning if you bet 1 BTC, you'll get 1,7 BTC back. This makes the game a bit safer.

As usual, only send bets from the official bitcoin client, do not use online wallets or addresses that doesn't lead back to you!

Send bets to this address:

With these kinds of rules this is just a race against the clock.. The end time is pretty useless, noone will send any money after an hour has passed anyway..

Just sent all my coins lol. Here goes nothing

Satoshi decided to cash out, and spread the wealth around.

Really?
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Do you use Silk Road? on: June 19, 2011, 01:35:48 PM
If I would be buying drugs, which btw. is recently more liberal in Poland, why not do it just with cash as probably 99.9999% people do.

Because buying drugs online is safer, easier and not everyone has the "contacts" to buy in person.
513  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Double Trouble (Instant/Automatic) w/ Partial Refunds! on: June 19, 2011, 01:33:12 PM
I don't think daily scheduled resets are a good idea. The time period is too short and in the end everyone will just join in with automated bots paying the first second of the new round.

Heh, I'd thought about making a bot to do it.... perhaps a CAPTCHA needs to be put in place for submitting your entry, this should prevent any bots from entering.  Plus there are tons of easy to use CAPTCHA services out there.

This will still give a huge advantage to people living in preferable timezones.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Do you use Silk Road? on: June 19, 2011, 01:07:12 PM
Someone I know voted yes.

Okay, I voted yes. I hardly think the police will give two shits.

I have set up a fake mailbox on a rack some blocks from my home. Even if the police has the resources and motive to track a sale and find out my "shipping adress", they wouldn't be able to know who I am. With proper precautions silk road and similar sites are great ways to bypass the government's disgusting violations of human rights.
515  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Translators needed at BitLotto.com - FREE advertising as payment on: June 19, 2011, 10:53:13 AM
I can no longer do norwegian, sorry. If anyone else wants to do it, here's what I have done so far:
Code:
<p>
<ul>
</li>
<li>IKKE SEND BTC FRA EN <a href="https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/EWallet">EWALLET</a> (Online tjeneste). <strong>Send bare BTC fra din egen bitcoin adresse på din datamaskin</strong>. Hvis du sender fra en Ewallet, vil du ikke motta din premie.</li>
<li>Hvis du kjøper flere billetter, send ikke alt på en gang. Del opp dine betalinger i 0.25 BTC hver.</li>
<li>Den unike informasjonen fra din betaling utgjør din billett.</li>
<li>Betalingen din må finnes in en bitcoinblokk før trekningen.

<li>Man kan betale for <a href="http://www.bitlotto.com/addresses.html">fremtidige trekninger</a> om man ønsker.</li>
<li>Ta det med ro. Hvis du vinner behøver du ikke gjøre noe, dine BTC vil bli overført til din lommebok noen dager etter trekningen.</li>
<li>Lykke til!</li>
</ul>
</p>

517  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Are all these Ponzi schemes and other cons legal? on: June 19, 2011, 09:25:24 AM
No, I think these "cons" (as you call it) are excellent fun and the result of a free, healthy market.
518  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trojan Wallet stealer be careful on: June 18, 2011, 11:47:27 AM
You don't need to encrypt your wallet. You can just move your bitcoin data folder usually located in %appdata% to another location, and edit the bitcoin client shortcut's target from:

Code:
"C:\bitcoin-install-directory"

to

Code:
"C:\bitcoin-install-directory" -datadir=C:\bitcoin-data-folder
