Below are the criteria I want for an altcoin.
Fair distribution. No proof of stake or initial coin offerings. I want an altcoin distributed through proof of work.
A good team of developers. This can be argued, but please do explain why you think the team of your altcoin is one of the best. A growing community. I believe a community behind an altcoin should be positive and optimistic especially during bear markets.
Hi Wind_Fury. This might be a boring answer I will give, but honestly ETH is probably your best bet, for obvious reasons. And the fact that the price decreased lately, makes it attractive to buy for a long time holder. XRP is also interesting IMO. Good luck.

Hi udayantha11, It is Bitcoin gold (not bit coin gold ) . Bitcoin gold will be a hard fork in Bitcoin's blockchain. Right now, the network is monopolized by mining pools. Bitcoin gold aims to fight the mining centralization, so we can go back to the early days of Bitcoin when anyone could mine with profits. All Bitcoin holders will get free Bitcoin gold, like a dividend. Then you are free to hold them or sell them straight away, that's your call. As paolo said, get the most information you can on this forum, and Google, Youtube. etc.

BTC Sometimes confused choose which markets we will use to sell. suppose how can we be lucky in choosing the market where we sell our coins?
Hi Dinda. Coinbase is one of the obvious choices, good reputation and very reliable service. Other names you should look at: Etoro, Bittrex, Kraken, bisq. All the best!

Thanks a lot guys for the responses. I will wait until next Monday and see how it is going with the payment I will receive to my old address. I will keep you updated on this topic as it could help a lot of beginners. Cheers

I think the answer would depend on whether you’re looking at numbers of investors or total $ invested from each country? I seem to see a lot of people from Indonesia in the crypto world but they might not be investing huge sums compared to a wealthy Chinese.
Same with Philippines, one just needs to have a look at the local sections here to see how popular BTC is in various countries.

Hi folks, As you probably know, a new address is created every time one received funds at his blockchain.info wallet. The thing is: I will receive payments for the next 4 weeks at the same address. A quick search on Google, and I read that it is not a problem, that I still can receive funds to old addresses, but then I read about private key, and I don't have one for now. I'll receive my next payment next week on my old address. Is there anything I should do to receive these funds safely?
Any advice appreciated. Regards.

You need exactly 8 months on this forum, to get to Sr Member which gives you a good opportunity to earn decent payment every week in signature campaigns. This is the best IMO to earn Bitcoin if you are not experienced in trading.

All alt coins are on the rise! Perfect time to invest!!!!!
Hi lokkom, why do you think it is the case? I noticed that too. Because of the incoming fork perhaps?

Damn, Fairlay is now charging .5 mBTC or $3 USD to cashout BTC.
That seems a bit steep. What are the real costs out there these days? Have they really gone up that much?
Honestly it is not that much. I have used broker services before to access Betfair, where I was charged 4% for a withdrawal. I let you imagine the amount when I asked for a withdrawal of 2k, I was felt a bit gutted and went somewhere else. Fairlay is a good service, yes they take a fee but Fairlay works a bit like a broker, offering Pinnacle and taking a small % on the odds, that's fair enough to me.

Way too volatile for me, recommended for gamblers only, or if you have some savings you do not really need. But I prefer other coins like XRP.

Maybe that's why Ethereum has a good future too, more and more people are willing to buy ETH.

I've tried to make an account on steemit months ago and start posting while believing that I can earn from that website but I guess it's too hard, I've tried to post there some poems made by me and from ma friend and some news and articles but It's just a waste of time for me to earn from there so I stopped posting and replying there.
Same here, it looks like it takes luck to be able to make money there. I'd rather do signature campaigns even though Steemit business model sounds good on paper.

Thanks for posting Doublelucky. Would also add Horizon which seems to be one of the most innovative one. Universa is also one to look at IMO. BitClave is hyped too but it is not unwarranted.

Hi kwukduck. Good point, it looks like is getting more centralized, with countries now regulation Bitcoin or willing to regulate it (last news from Australia). It is actually boosting the price, but like you said, I hope the day will not come that Bitcoin become useless if it loses its anonymity qualities, and such.
Also, let's be honest, a lot of people who buy Bitcoin have no idea what Bitcoin is, and they buy it just like they used to buy stocks, to sell eventually.

This is really cool. Sant'Agostino is the first auction house to let people bid and settle with Bitcoin.
This brings Bitcoin into yet another aspect of commercial and economic life..
So Awesome......
Yes, read this earlier article is hereStill a surprising news, as I believe Italy is not among the top countries when Bitcoin is concerned, but looks like they are trying to sell to "foreigners" as well. That is cool news, no doubt.

When you look at mining pools, what do you look for?
What makes a good mining pool?
Are the things you hate?
Or do you just use whatever?
It is not easy to say if there is a "best" pool. But if you are looking for a reliable one, I believe kano.is is a safe choice, good transparency too and reputable service.

Have not bought yet, but seriously considering RPX, assuming that if it gets listed to Binance we could hope for at least x5 profit (conservative target). That is a bet I am making, not a recommendation. Please inform yourself wisely and carefully before taking the decision to buy.

many Economists in CNBC say bitcoin is burning money and they talk about many reason which not understand it
So what do you think about tha
Then we are talking about very long term IMO. I don't know. Fiat money will survive for a very long while, I cannot picture a world with only cryptos. The average Joe will shop with his dollars, or euros, or yen, you name it. Bitcoin however will be very convenient to buy cars, houses, etc.
