521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin in August? on: July 18, 2018, 12:18:58 PM
It is no longer news that Bitcoin went below 6k recently and all hell was let loosed but generally the coin remained within the 6k threshold. We are almost half of July and nothing drastic has happened as per the price of Bitcoin. Do we expect to see a serious upward trend beyond the current price in August?

What do you mean by all hell was let loose when it hasn't gone anywhere from 6k? lol. Currently it's sitting at over 7k so it's fair to say that we're looking at uptrend from here on and I only expect it to go higher. I suppose people were little scared that's why all hell broke loose (lol) before it calmed down.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto ? Suspects, frauds and conspiracies on bitcointalk on: July 17, 2018, 06:59:02 AM
Samsung, Toshiba, Nakamichi, Motorolla.

Has anyone tried contacting them to see if they know whereabouts of Satoshi Nakamoto? Perhaps he was one individual working with them or four individuals working as one. who knows.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Fraud. How to stop projects from cheating bounty payments!! on: July 16, 2018, 12:26:19 PM
Recently, some projects refuse to pay bounty participants or change terms after the work is completed. Regardless of their excuse, this is considered fraudulent inducement and can be reported to the FBI or your local police wherever you are in the world.. You can file a report at this FBI website: https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx/

Some projects will say they are registered overseas or have lawyers to scare  people from taking action. Even if so, International law make this a crime. The terms of the bounty announcements are considered a legal contract and must be followed under international law; even if NOT signed. So I recommend any bounty participants who have been cheated out of payment to contact your local police department or fill out the FBI Internet Fraud complaint form above. If you don’t take action, cheating bounties will become common.

I hope this will be of help to many...

that's completely out of point and I don't think FBI can do anything about it. It's quite difficult to tell who is going to fraud you ahead of time. FBI is not allowed to release anything until investigation is over so you're shit out of luck on this one unless you can wait for months for peanuts. It is better to just stick to trustworthy ICO and spend some time looking at their investors and other things of that nature.
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 1 mln $ possible? on: July 05, 2018, 06:18:03 AM
Hey guys, do you think bitcoin can reach 1 million $ until 2020? If so, everyone who hold crypto will become a rich person, that’s nice!

lol, it's insane to talk about a mil when its still struggling at $6k. Most people would be happier if it crosses 10k, may be once it has crossed $500k we can talk about reaching $1 mil but now is not the best time as it seems rather over the top prediction.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Persistence is more important than luck? on: July 05, 2018, 05:46:18 AM
Yes, persistence is likely the capital for you to make the profits from your trading or investment. It is your essential element to have while investing or trading. Te persistence is important to do with some good strategies, plans, patience, and more others. If your efforts and preexistence are good, I'm sure than the luck will always follow you.
Persistence is a form of how we are in the face of all conditions and situations that occur. Because even if we face bad conditions then we can deal with it well. Persistence will train ourselves to be able to make decisions appropriately. In addition, persistence also gives us the training of patience and emotional control that is crucial in changing decisions. Continue persistent in order to produce a good future.

Indeed. You can't get lucky all the time but being persistence is something you can train to become and it will help you through tough time in crypto world. Without persistence you'll end up panicking but sometimes persistence can bite your behind but that's just the matrix telling you to not be persistent. You should persist just for the sake of learning from it, it can help you in other parts of your life too.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever? on: July 04, 2018, 06:33:17 AM
I think the crypto will last but not for a few more years. Maybe from year to year crypto will have a style change and coupled with other rules to perfect crypto. In the coming year Humans are more likely to glance at things as practical as crypto. The growing cryto has become a proof that people will more and more believe in crypto.

I see it as a future that all world money will shift into eventually. Whether it'll last forever or not, that's different story. I think it would transform into something else in coming 100 years with all the quantum computers, ai and what not,  "forever" is far stretched out term for anything since nothing lasts forever.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: July 04, 2018, 06:29:12 AM
Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?

I have done this before but nobody believed on me and thinks that it was some kind of a ponzi scheme. Its been a year since I recruited someone to join the crypto world. What's happening now is that a lot of them are interested on where I get the money to buy new things. I just told them that its from crypto, the world they declined to join a year ago.

that's another indirect way to attract people to crypto. When they ask you about things you buy from your crypto earning, tell them the whole story so they start researching on their own.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: July 03, 2018, 06:55:07 AM
If and only if they are interested! We all knew that even if they believe us that crypto is not a scam, we cannot totally erase how how much risk is associated by investing on cryptos. And  I don't want to take the blame if ever other people lost their profit or investment. So probably no way.
I agree, I can give advice, but only if people themselves are interested in crypto currencies. Because the crypto currency market is unpredictable, today it can grow by 100%, and tomorrow it will fall by 200%. I always warn people about the possibility of losing money.

Just like any investment, if you're telling people to invest in crypto you should advice them to take their own risk so they don't curse you when they end up losing money. Educate them on the benefit of crypto without asking them to invest in it, they should invest on their own if they feel comfortable.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my EOS tokens disappeared on Kucoin on: July 03, 2018, 06:42:03 AM
What do you mean they disappeared? Have you contacted their support team? I don't see anything on their social media regarding this. keep us updated
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO LIVE] 📷Photochain : Photography back in your control 📷 on: July 03, 2018, 06:18:30 AM
I'm not a financial advisor and this is not financial advice but I recommend you prepare to holds for 6 - 12 months till this bear market is over and you could be back in the green.

Of course it could fall further before climbing again but unless you desperately need money why sell now and lock in a loss ?

Welcome to the world of HODLing

PHOTOCHAIN will be great!

As far as I know they're not listed on any exchange yet and people don't have their tokens since it's in paused state. How do you hodl something you don't have?   Huh
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook lifts ban on crypto ads on: July 02, 2018, 06:06:29 AM
Facebook loosens its earlier ban on cryptocurrency advertisements. However no visible impact on the market as prices of coins are decreasing rapidly. Facebook's this decision will not make any impact on cryptocurrency? What do you say about this friends? https://mobilemarketingmagazine.com/facebook-cryptocurrency-ads-ban-reversal

They're losing their members left and right and people interest in facebook have dropped significantly. It's not surprise why they've decided to unban cryptocurrency in order to bring back their stream of income from crypto related ads. I don't think this would have any effect on anything but good news regardless.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can I choose a best Bounty ? on: July 02, 2018, 06:02:06 AM
If I can choose a Bounty which can give more return. Have any indicators that can help me to choose a best bounty.

You should check for same things that you would if you were investing in their ico or investing in any other token. check things like whitepaper, team, social media, telegram etc to make sure they're legit. I've had displeasure of signing up for some that never made it to the exchange so there is a risk involved but that shouldn't stop you if you enjoy doing it.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Altcoins rebound on: July 02, 2018, 05:41:12 AM
This is not new to us, crypto keeps playing up and down
lots of my friends asking me when do i think crypto will be going straight up
my answer is, im not sure , but one thing is true, crypto will be going up soon
and some of them are happy while its downward accumulating coins,
how about you guys whats your take on this?

If you look at the bright side, bitcoin price is still much higher than where it was before the uptrend started. It was at $600 at one time just few years ago. We've come a long way and even bear market can't hurt bitcoin anymore. Those who bought at all time high might be regretting but that's the mistake they've made and they will learn from it in the future. Many people are hoping it would go up this year, so be it.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HOW TO SPOT SCAMMY ICOS? on: June 28, 2018, 06:27:27 AM

2. Anonymous project.

If you want to scam people, best way to do it is by hiding your identity. Therefore you should never trust a project that does not display it’s team members, company information nor physical address. No matter how good the project seems, there is a reason why they are hiding their identity.

This isnt always the case, I have always felt suspicious of ICOs when they link to the team members linkedin profile. Well, this may be legit in many cases as they want to build a positive trust by showing off the team. But, I also have seen people buying 20-25 old linkedin accounts through this forum.

anonymous team members is the first thing everyone check for before putting any money in any ICO but it's difficult to tell unless you put some time and effort in researching, but that's what you should be doing anyway before putting your money anywhere.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ALT hodlers are selling and leaving this market! on: June 27, 2018, 01:00:36 PM
Those are not hodlers, those are better be called weak hands.

The bear market will end someday, and those people will cry blood that they panic sold their belongings cheap.

So, be a patient hodler and laugh at them with me when it happens. No matter how long it takes, it will be worth it. Promise. Cheesy

Yes, when bear market comes they will cry but I think many of them might be too scared to re-invest in crypto. It's not good either way since it scares noobs away which can be a roadblock for mass adoption.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin go under 7,000? Please participate! on: June 27, 2018, 12:55:54 PM
It already did happening bitcoin market price has already fall to 6K usd and that market price is not really good. Maybe these are the effects on the negative events that happen with cryptocurrency which exchange was being hacked, MEW was being hijack last month and there are more. So maybe this is the effect and crypto market price are falling and falling over and over again. I hope it is still not the end for cryptocurrency.

I don't think it was related to MEW hack since no one stores bitcoin there but exchanges hack, yes. I don't think it's the end.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum Classic Reach $100 - $200 at the end of the year? on: June 27, 2018, 12:48:25 PM
that's a long shot from where it is now. I think perhaps you should head for $50 once market is bullish, that's more likely than $200.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is crypto a cult? on: June 26, 2018, 05:44:57 AM
It's not exactly a cult but it causes cult like behaviour. It draws you in with promises of riches, gets you hooked into the numbers and different types of coins, and then you realise you're at the mercy of the whales (cult leaders!)

that's more of gambling behavior than behavior of a cult. In order for it to be considered cult, it has to have a leader and same philosphy which it doesn't since everyone is interested in crypto for different reason. perhaps certain coin can be considered cult in their own way but probably not since they don't fit the definition.

that video was funny nonetheless and I don't think it was meant to be taken so seriously
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins with price lower price has more chances to moon? on: June 26, 2018, 05:31:37 AM
No, I think that is a myth that will gradually be banished from this market, because although apparently an altcoin whose current price is one satoshi it only needs to be worth two satoshis to generate a 100% profit, but due to its low liquidity it is very easy to manipulate and many people have lost money trying to make easy profits with such pump and dump investments.

In addition, there being so many thousands of cryptocurrencies on the market, it is more likely that a low-value altcoin tends to fall into oblivion rather than becoming a valuable currency over the years.

that is correct. low value coins aren't always a good option. There are other things you have to consider before investing your hard earned btc/money. I have seen people losing a lot of money going after low value coins which didn't have any development and it eventually turned into pnd before it got removed from exchange.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin to hold for long term? on: June 26, 2018, 05:27:56 AM
Can someone recommend me a coin that is still around $.50 at this moment but will have a higher value in the future? I am planning to buy eos but it seems it now on its peak and i might just end up lossing instead of profiting.
Thanks guys!

I had to remove your size not sure why it was needed. There are many altcoins you can purchase for $0.50. What is your reason behind picking coins that are around 0.50 and not few cents or $1? Many people in this thread have made great suggestion so you can pick any of them but you'll have more options if you leave more room for other tokens that may not be around your exact price.
