1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HIFUN] SatoshiFun [SCRYPT] 1 Satoshi market fun | You can only go higher! on: July 26, 2015, 05:15:13 PM
could you just briefly tell us how and when the website & wallets will be ready?

Wallets are already compiled and on a private Git.
Pools operators will get the private source ~ 15minutes before launch to setup pools.

Website is planned later on.
SatoshiFun; No talks, no empty promises, no fancy Piktochart roadmaps but real development that will come as surprises.

Every positive step we'll do will have positive influence on the markets instead of empty promises.

Edit: Remaining coins will be burned! ATM that would be ~20.000.000.000. Make your calculations.

it could easily reach 100-200 sat if remaining coins are burned.

looking forward to it.

what happened to this? - https://www.startjoin.com/trewsagents

Thought we raised funds for the second one, nothing happened?

Where is all this startcoin going? sure aint going towards the coin, if it was we would be going up in value...

We should all start asking some questions, millions of dollars is being raised on startjoin and bnktothefuture but startcoin is still doing nothing....

They should be giving back to the coin...

Not being negative, just want to know whats going on..

I can't disagree. There is no buy support from Max or Karl Gray. If the're expecting investors then they should take some accountability to make sure it doesn't turn into another pnd coin. When investors start losing money they'll start walking away from this coin. It was at 79k few weeks ago now it's slowly dipping back to its original position. Who is there to stop it? nobody.

As much as I like this project I can't ignore the fact that people who started this project aren't even worried about the price. It's good to market the project but it's also very important to help price become more stable. Karl Gray is mega whale as I've heard..why isn't he putting some kind of buy wall as price move up? It'll give more confidence to investors to know that someone is out there to make sure they don't lose their investment and in return they'll be investing more in this project.

1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: July 26, 2015, 09:24:38 AM
not much buy support for START  Cry. Looks like it'll hit 20k today.

yehh , good troll

I'm not pulling it out of my ass. I believe in this project..but that doesn't mean I'll just yell "moon moon mooon" when I"m not seeing much buy support that also doesn't mean I"m saying that it won't go back to 100k..it'll just take its time. Usually Sunday night (US EDT) is a good time to buy...it'll dip more unless some news get delivered.

16 BTC buy orders VS 1983 BTC sell orders

I'm reporting what I'm seeing...obviously that shouldn't be surprise to anyone since they're paying dividends to people and those people are going to sell their dividends for profit...doesn't take einstein to figure it out. lol

that's what market is...price goes up people sell..price go down people buy. Just because someone is saying price will dip by looking at the market doesn't necessarily make them a troll.

There are 51 more days till mining backed securities get funded. You'll start seeing big price increase closer to that time...till then don't be a fool..enjoy the dip and increase your START supply with every dip rather than calling people troll...

cause guess what? if you bought at 50k and still holding your coins I got some bad nuwz. You should've sold them long time ago and you would've doubled your supply if you waited for dip...that doesn't mean you still don't have time. almost 2 more months..sell your coins now and buy them as it dips...rinse and repeat. Who knows you might end up with 100,000 START when price pumps to 100k if you do it right and don't just wait for it to reach 100k..cause it ain'g gonna happen overnight.

enjoy the knowledge I've given you.

I think people if they don't want to go too deep with a Getgems should think of it as decentralised social that rewards it's users rather than the owners of social media. It's not a threat to any other coin especially Bitcoin.

Why would anyone who supported alts and Bitcoin generally not be cheering this on to succeed? unless as I suspect you are simply here to pump and dump coins and make a buck.

Plus no one is asking anyone to buy anything. I have had the app since the beginning, I got a bonus for moving wallets over but basically I now have just over $20 in my wallet for doing nothing other than downloading the app. If people hate free money then sure don't download it. Haha

Dude. I installed this app the day it came out..not only that I got all my friends to installed it. How many of them are using it? NONE. Why? because it has no use. No one is going to install an app to earn pennies...if people want to use social messaging app they'll use the one that most of their friends use SUCH AS FACEFCKINGBOOK.

Ask your dev to come up with better marketing plan than spamming altcoin discussion with GetGemz and stealing other people idea and then going as far as telling people how it's best invention since sliced bread.

How about all my friends use GetGems now, and all the latest rate on Google play are 5 stars, and facebook messenger not offering Bitcoin or doesn't reward you for using it? The app has progressed tremendously since day one, day one whatsapp was shit aswell which still gets updated 6 years later.

Trust me GetGems dev is great at marketing and nobody is spamming here or else admin would have deleted the Thread, it's just that GetGems is doing well lately.

If paying people to send message had any benefit it would've been implemented in many apps by now. People want good messaging app not some pretty looking diamond that pays you less than half a penny to send a message...it's just another way to lure people to use your app..that's all. Not going to get too far I can tell you right now. All those downloads are from bagholders who bought during ICO and now they're waiting for next pump while trying to get other people to hold their bags.

Rewarding users has always been part of making a successful business, you see it everywhere even in Bitcoin and in lots of apps, it seems that you are very uninformed. Although until Bitcoin technology it wasn't possible to reward instant messaging users with money in such an easy way and Getgems is the first messenger in succeeding in this. For you, you are just too much obsessed with pump and dumping alts that it has taken over your brain.

pls go. don't pin this on me..you're the one who said "You'll miss the boat". What the hell that means? Obviously you didn't mean I would miss downloading this app because app would be in the market forever...you were referring to pump now you're acting all innocent and telling me how great rewarding user is...I"m sure users are dying to earn pennies so they can donate it to homeless.

Obviously your dev is as stupid as you since he didn't plan it through and now you're coming here defending getgemz..should be renamed to getwrecked looking at bagholders it left after its ICO

FFS this is like 100th thread trying to promote GetGems. Don't you have your own thread? stop spamming

I'm actually happy to see one company GetGems here improving and delivering. I know competitors (if any) don't like to see such a great accomplishment but don't try to come here trying to censor actual worthy news and if there are more their should be more Threads cus i'm damn tired of all the bullshit Threads people fighting and blaming.

There is twitter to spread your news. stop spamming altcoin section with getgems and how it's best invention when in reality it's not. No one going to use crypto messaging app when there are bigger competitors such as facebook, whatsapp, skype, slack, snapchat etc. It sounds more like you're just trying to get people to buy these scam so you can dump your bags (which you bought during ICO).

You are clearly showing an envious resentment of someones achievements, i can easily tell GetGems success is not in your favor.

no, I just want you to stop spamming altcoin section with GetGemz. You have your own thread..go post there dude. It's as annoying as the guy who kept creating Monero thread
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram CEO tweeted about A Getgems feature. on: July 25, 2015, 07:48:44 AM
he said nothing about Getgems, because its a useless piece of shit app.

Don't be jealous now, the app is evolving into the a killer app, it might not be your cup of thee but in the instant messaging world GetGems is the most innovative IM ever existed right now.

The feature Telegrams CEO tweeted about is developed by GetGems and he knows it, if you use Julia she says that she is powered by GetGems, even Coinbase mentions GetGems.

It just has the best business model suited for the average person that's why it's getting recognised, it's innovating on top of an existing framework instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.

there is nothing jealous to be about, its a shitcoin which tries again to fool investors and other people. GetGems is a premined shit and almost everyone knows it already

Are you going to cry now, having an immature meltdown all of the sudden, slightly a sign of jealousy though. GetGems actually proves there can be projects aside Bitcoin which are flexing Bitcoins innovations to the outside world and i'm glad it is easy to promote outside the dark Crypto realm cus everyone is familiar with it and using it just makes sense. If you have a Coinbase account give Julia a try you will like it Kiss

GetGemz is copycat of Gliph. It's not innovative nor creative..just stolen idea of someone else and dev is trying to get rich from it.

GetGemz even stole their logo (diamond shape) FFS

I created a thread few months where I discussed how scams are pushing away legit project. It's hard to tell which is legit and which is scam anymore. Sometimes good projects get bashed and I believe ETHER has been a victim. I found it interesting and innovative but it's definitely being pumped right now (may be that's why people are saying it's a scam)

1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the red flags to watch out for when avoiding P&D coins? on: July 25, 2015, 06:04:20 AM
1. Newbie dev, no community involvement,  price is high as sky on trex = Obvious Scam.
Example: Dibbits, Globe, Ibits (new coin)

2. Newbie dev, project looks like crap, senior members supporting it (Hidden Scam)

Personally, I don't even invest in any new altcoin unless Dev has been delivering continuously and there is a community support. If I see handful of people posting over and over in a thread just to bump it..I run to the other side. Don't invest in new altcoins most of them are just plain scam and copycat of other coins.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to IBITS on bittrex? on: July 25, 2015, 05:53:56 AM
Look at what happened to GLOBE, DIBBITS.

Dump and dump. Someone has found loophole and keep repeating it by creating new coins and pumping it and then crashing the market then moving on to next coin.

Trex is playing part in it because these coins are new, don't have any community so they shouldn't be listed in trex in first place.

what a bunch of turd.

24 hr high for this garbage was 1 BTC = 1 IBITS

This is disrespectful not only to altcoins but our godfather Bitcoin as well.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This stat is pretty shocking on: July 24, 2015, 05:31:46 PM
no it's actually 18% in US itself ..probably less. Just look it up to see how many people are actually using iOS...it was 18% in 2014 probably decreased after new galaxy dropped in the market. All big cellphone providers have 90% android phones and that's what people are buying.

Are you even bothering looking up the research stats I am referencing or do you prefer to continue and pull numbers out of your ass?

The numbers I cite are sales numbers , You can look at the historical numbers month by month in the US. Some months android numbers have 60% of sales , some months ios sells more. If you consider that ios devices are more reliable than half of the androids being sold you can make a very conservative approximation that android is about tied with ios in the US for market penetration and use.

Not to mention Apple has started sending their workforce to third world countries...so expect shit phones soon and then there will no more iPhone and whole world will be better place to live in.

Again, speculating about events that have yet to happen.... and to someone who hates apple anyways. Please address the research I have given if you have a problem with it.

Yes but world doesn't revolve around US..if 80% of sales are Android worldwide then that's what most dev need to focus on...and as someone already mentioned Apple is pretty shitty when it comes to putting an app in their market. No one should create an app for iOS ever! They think they're better than rest of the world when in reality they're being assraped by android market but yet people brag about how apple is this and that..no they ain't.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This stat is pretty shocking on: July 24, 2015, 04:47:10 PM
lets assume 18% of people are iPhone users and 2% of them are rich iPhone users. How many of those 2% are retarded enough to throw their money away in altcoins (filled with scams) vs stocks

truth is there aren't many iPhone users in crypto..nobody likes iOS..it's dead and slowly dying after that punk Tim Crook took over the company and Android has it down on the floor and continuously punching it...it'll keep punching till its dead.

I can't believe people still supporting iOS. I don't know anyone anymore who owns an iPhone...those who did threw it away in garbage when Galaxy came out..it's harsh truth that some people don't want to face.

There is a reason why most dev don't bother with iOS wallet because they're working on more important things than worrying about 2% of crypto population who uses iOS. lol

We don't have to assume 18%... it is 18% worldwide and tied with 47% in the US. You are bringing your personal biases and opinions into the matter which isn't objective. I hate apple as much as you do but the reality is they make premium products that many wealthy people and developers use. Half of the devs and programmers I work with are apple users as well which represent one of the most important first adopters a fintech ecosystem must court.

P.S... I like how you pulled out that assumption that only 2% of apple users are wealthy. Apple primarily makes High end premium products which are very expensive. Comparatively worldwide at least 98% of apple users are wealthy and have disposable income to spend or invest in while android users are mostly poor and don't have much disposable income. Just look at the paid app numbers within each ecosystem if you want some insight. Android apps are almost exclusively supported by advertising and many developers are considering not even bothering making an app for android because the paid apps in google play marketplace perform horribly.

no it's actually 18% in US itself ..probably less. Just look it up to see how many people are actually using iOS...it was 18% in 2014 probably decreased after new galaxy dropped in the market. All big cellphone providers have 90% android phones and that's what people are buying.

1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This stat is pretty shocking on: July 24, 2015, 04:10:36 PM
Last time I checked 85% of GLOBAL OS was Android not some garbage iOS. It's probably over 90% by now.

So question isn't why someone isn't creating iOS wallet...better question is why some of them are even wasting their time creating iOS wallet instead of focusing on things that matter.

and to be honest after Steve Jobs they're heading downhill and I won't be surprised if people completely stop buying their products by 2017

iOS was cool thing back in 2006 but now it's just waste of money and any dev creating wallet for iOS shouldn't even be called Dev.

I'm selling all those coins that you listed who have iOS wallet. (excluding Bitcoin)

Thanks for reminding me how shitty iOS is.

Its 18% as I just have shown -
http://www.idc.com/prodserv/smartphone-os-market-share.jsp

Even if it eventually dropped down to 5% in 20 years it is still the mark of maturity that a coin can support all the devices... in this case 800 million unsupported which is rather large.

I am by no means an apple fan or user. (I have OSX for testing in VMware only) but the reality is they make products primarily for 3 demographics - wealthy trendy people, serious developers who appreciate quality products and unix based osx who use ios in turn, and people fooled by their marketing who aren't very tech savvy.

2 of those demographics are really important ones to focus on for any coin so it could be argued that ios should be just as important at this time in supporting as android. This is evident especially by the fact that ios vs android in the US is nearly tied and the only reason android is so dominant worldwide is because their are millions of 20-50 dollar cheap smartphones being sold in asia which includes a demographic of users who aren't in a position to learn about or purchase any speculative investment at this time.

lets assume 18% of people are iPhone users and 2% of them are rich iPhone users. How many of those 2% are retarded enough to throw their money away in altcoins (filled with scams) vs stocks

1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which core wallet coins have their own wallet that works on mobile devices? on: July 24, 2015, 04:00:06 PM
Mangocoinz

it's made for cellphone specifically...you mine using your phone. so yep...can't be replicated because it's innovative and creative

No ios support which is tied for half the market share in the US so I wouldn't consider this mobile friendly in the slightest. Mobile friendly would have to include at least an android app and ios app IMHO. This is coming from someone who hates apple in many ways and would never buy one of their products.

I was wondering which coins have their own wallet that works on mobile devices that are made by the core developers. I'm not talking about 3rd party.

Was wondering how many coins are actually mobile friendly by using only the core software and not a 3rd party.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1133471.0

So i was looking for some iOS wallets and i can't believe from the 653 Cryptos on Coinmarketcap only 6 of them have their own dedicated iOS wallet which are Bitcoin, GetGems, Dogecoin, Counterparty, Guldencoin and Digibyte.

Number of Android smartphone users in the United States from 2010 to 2014 (in millions)

This forecast illustrates the number of Android smartphone users in the United States from 2010 to 2014 (2013 and 2014 forecast). In 2012, there were 47.5 million smartphone users in the United States with an Android system.

I'm not sure where you're getting your stats from about half of the US using iOS lol. Nobody likes iOS anymore...those days are long gone. Besides..Mangocoinz is coming up with iOS wallet soon if you check their website.

regardless...what matters is what phone OP has not which is better iOS or Android. Every person I know has threw away their iPhone for Samsung Galaxy and everyone is doing it besides handful of people.
