521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 06, 2022, 07:57:12 PM
For every human motion, I suppose there must be a substantial reason behind it.
Let's ask ourselves why would Satoshi reveal his identity.
Does Satoshi have to prove that the Bitcoin he created hasn't proved that it is possible to achieve a true peer-to-peer decentralized digital form of money?

I have seen a lot of people talking about this topic and I don't it should be our priority when there are a lot of things on the Bitcoin network that should be our priority, not Satoshi's identity.
I don't think btc has an issue. If you mean about its volatility, then it wasn't an issue either but it's an advantage. If it's about the energy concerns well those people who claim btc isn't friendly to the environment are only hyping it. Regulations isn't also needed since btc is supposed to be decentralized. Other than that, I can't think of any.
I wasn't talking about Bitcoin volatility as an issue but I was talking about possible things that could be drawbacks for Bitcoin to be used as mainstream and the eschelon of electric power with the carbon which some people hype that BTC mining injected much of it into the atmosphere.
Nonetheless, regulation is not needed but you're not saying the language the government understands and if we want BTC to reach the mainstream payment we have to welcome their regulation.

Maybe people think that those problems will be solved once btc appeared or he can at least defend his invention and there will be no more negative talks after it but there will also be people that will worry if what can happen next. Maybe satoshi will be threatened out or what if he will sell most of his coins? Something like that.
After he has left all the cases of Bitcoin to the community. i don't this is what people thought because it is their curiosity about who Satoshi is that led to this type of question.
522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to crypto exchanges in the future? on: November 06, 2022, 07:11:06 PM
The reason for crypto exchange for conversion of one crypto to another or into fiat. Therefore,  no matter how popular Bitcoin is in the future there will always be the need for crypto exchange for enthusiast.

I always thought Bitcoin would move towards a ton of small exchanges run by lots of different types of businesses. It seems like instead there has been a lot of consolidation in the industry and large players emerging. This isn’t ideal, but hopefully at some point we see more distributed exchanges (DEX) as they are the on-ramps to crypto and probably most at risk for being shut down and hindering the market.
There are a lot of DEX in the market already but the problem is always that some of them exit the market and run away with their user fund or they later change to CEX.
523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Friends and Family members want me to invest for them, help! on: November 06, 2022, 06:26:20 PM
In my country up to 7 people I knew very well ( friends and family ) want me to help them invest money in crypto, after telling them the risk involved and how it will be better if they learn themselves they turn the idea down..

Now they want me to invest their own money on coins and they aren't ready to choose the coins they will like themselves.

After thinking this through and through I started feeling like they are doing this to hold me responsible if something goes wrong.

Is my thoughts right? If you are in my shoes what will you do?
Since you have told them the risk involved in the crypto investment and they still choose to invest but I will advise you to invest their fund in Bitcoin only because it is the only excellent coin in the market that's good for all market trends.
Nonetheless, I will advise you teach your family members how to use BTC wallet and exchange so they can be in charge of their investment this is the money we're talking about. Besides, investments like this may go sour in the future.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Sign to Adopt Bitcoin by Nigerian Government on: November 05, 2022, 11:37:32 PM
Early ours on Saturday, 5th November, 2022 Nigerian Government announcement from it National Radio Broadcast that the government is willing to train about over 30,000 Nigerians in blockchain, specifically Bitcoin. The government is planning Nigeria to be the number one play in the crypto space in Africa. Some of the trainees who will complete the training, will have chanced to be in the London incubation programme while others will be giving the opportunity to become Bitcoiners as Satoshi's vision of the currency.
And the government  is inviting the citizens to take this opportunity and expose themselves in the new technological revolution.

Report: Over 30,000 Nigerians to Learn About Blockchain From Government Agency

Adoption of Bitcoin by some government can be tricky and what must governemnt always support the most is blockchain and most of them always sees Bitcoin as an enemy of the state.
It is hard to believe that the government that bans their monetary payment system and local banks from handling crypto-related transactions.
I will advise you to wait a little longer before you can be sure they are really serious about it.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 05, 2022, 11:25:09 PM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?
I know you're trying to know the best thing to do so you won't make the wrong investment but there's no way we can talk about cryptocurrency and never include Bitcoin.
When its long-term investment in crypto, Bitcoin is the best for this call anytime.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WOW, WHY AM I SO HAPPY 😍 on: November 05, 2022, 09:35:20 PM
The bull run is here. ALTCOINS are going to blow up soon.. Happy to see some of my alts I bought on FAMEEX are just pumping. Matic and optimism just making me smile this morning
Bullrun is not here to stay because there's no rally in the market that we convince us to say the bull run is back and the bullish you see lately is just a flash uptrend momentum market to supplement and strengthen the next bearish market.
Dont celebrate now
527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie with 100$ on: November 05, 2022, 07:53:09 PM
Some of the advice we give here comes from experience, many people have seen the ups and downs of this market and have gathered some good experience that has kept them going from time to time.
Majority of us will tell him that investing $100 in Bitcoin is the best option, there is no doubt when the newbie invest $100 in Bitcoin, one thing is sure which is; his $100 will not disappear into the thin air. It will increase with time but it might be a very long time.
Most times what bitcoin does for us is to enable our $100 to remain $100 btc even in 10 years time. 1btc = 1btc irrespective of the fiat value.
Btc guides amd protects us from inflation, then if it decides to give us some profits why protecting us, we should be grateful.
Newbie trading during the bear market is never a good idea no matter how small the investment was and it is good for newbies to invest during the bear market than go into crypto trading that's relative to gambling.
$100 in BTC will never remain $100 BTC and based on my learning 1BTC=1BTC idea is to explain that Bitcoin cant be inflated. There will always be 21 million bitcoins ever mined

You may be correct, but it depends on the status of the newbie. Some newbies are good traders but newbie to the forum. There's no how you will convince a good trader to allow $100 sit in a particular wallet, waiting for 2024 or 2025 to become $150, never. If the newbie has knowledge of trading, that is the best lane for him to take.

A good trader makes profit whether on bull or bear market.
Yes, some newbies may be new to this forum while they a pros in crypto trading but I was talking about newbies in crypto trading and you said yourself that there's no way to convince a pro trader to allow his spare fund to just sit in a particular wallet because he's pro and knows the time for the market best entry when it presents itself.
This is never the case for newbie traders and the best thing they can do is buy in this bear market and wait for the next halving because newbie trading in the bear market is risky.

Have you tried trading BTC base on bear, any profit is going to btc whether on green or red?
Yes, I trade but not much trader

In other words, we need to do our due diligence and use common sense. Learn how to have a second thought mentality rather than just simply believing on what your “fake friend” has offered you.
From what the OP, said I think common sense is what is most important for the OP have totally trust the person after he has introduced him to crypto, Binance which is the most trusted exchange.
If the OP use common sense, he would have asked himself the right question which will make him stop depositing another fund into the scam platform since crypto is never a quick rich scheme.

Trust is mostly targeted by scammers now a days, and you can't predict if your new online friend will be trusted, as they will do everything to gain your trust, or in some cases, they will turn out to be scammers if they see that you can be easily manipulated. Trust and common sense really need to be used with caution at this time, and you should double check and not easily trust people when money is involved. As others have said, a person will show their true colors if they are already involved with money.
Showing or letting someone know your vulnerability either online or in real life is the faster way of being a victim of a scammer and it could not be a scam that involves money because some people are also scammed sexually.
Nonetheless, it is not good to totally trust someone even after the person is being tested.

I think learning the kid the history of Bitcoin and blockchain creation, crypto wallet and there's some coding class that was created for kids within the range of 10 years, I think this will be helpful for the kid to start his blockchain journey since coding is used to program website, applications, almost every things and technology we use every day.

532  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 04, 2022, 08:43:35 PM
The hope to be able to see the market pump is not likely to occur in 2022, until now the market looks very difficult to rise, when prices appear to rise, there will be a selling action that is carried out so that it makes price pressure and fall again.
You are going against your statement. You seem to agree that the price of the market will rise this year but you said "the hope to be able to see the market pump is not likely to occur in 2022".
When the market is in bear, it doesn't mean there won't be any rise/pump in the price of the market although the pump won't last since people will seize the profit opportunity until next month we may see some pump in the price of the market this month.

534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Countries that are Legal and Illegal in gambling on: November 03, 2022, 09:32:19 PM
Yes, gambling is illegal in the countries listed by the OP but some people still gamble indoors in the country despite it being illegal. It is all about how powerful and wealthy the person is.

The problem is that some of the governments still live in the 20th century. Here in India, there was even a proposal to ban Bitcoin, and punish anyone who is found to be holding cryptocurrency to a jail term of 10 years! And this measure was proposed by Subhash Chandra Garg, the then Finance Secretary of India. And then another big name in Indian economy, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (died like a stray dog four months back) supported this measure. Fortunately, the government went back after realizing that these measures can't be imposed on the public.
I never heard the story of the big you said they died like a stray dog because of the Bitcoin proposal in India.

The major problem we have in this 21st Century is the naivety and evil political procedures practiced by our political leaders. This is what led to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do think that POGO should be declared as legal or Illegal ? on: November 03, 2022, 08:52:20 PM
If the government shuts down this operation, many Filipinos will lose their jobs and the Philippine economy will suffer a loss of several billion pesos.

https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1672432/pogos-not-linked-to-illegal-online-gaming-says-pagcor

In my opinion, the POGO sector helps many Filipinos meet their basic needs and stimulates the economy, but having so many unlicensed offshore gambling establishments will harm the Philippines government's reputation.

I believe the Philippines government are wise when they first create an organization called the PAGCOR which function is the body that provides licenses of operation to the companies that provide POGO games to the people of the Philippines but shutting the whole system down because some irresponsible POGO operators or companies chose to operate illegally is never the right decision.
What they need is to place a hard penalty on any company that's guilty of illegal operation and others will submit their license applications to PAGCOR.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much was your last big win? on: November 03, 2022, 06:24:16 PM
This may be because their minds are already at the point where they are very confused and finally fall into it even though it is very naive to say that gambling can make their daily lives fulfilled because basically this is what makes them even more devastated.
Relying on luck to survive obviously won't always run smoothly in my opinion, so this kind of thing is not the right thing to do.

It all start with low esteem, life failures, depression, heartbrokenness and all manner of life disappointments in their various forms, this are the things that make many gamblers loose hope and give up their determined heart to settle for less, they use gambling to whine away time, ease depression and to yhyet busy and engaged, but gambling with such approach shouldn't be seen as the bus stop to making it in life, rather it must be a means that serves an encouragement to gamblers to position themselves right for diverse opportunities through life by engaging the pleasure and hope of making it through one day.
@Jody.Drummer in gambling relying on luck can work but it won't work only if the gambler relies only on skill when he lacks the needed skill and the game knowledge.
@Dunamisx, You have a point and this is the reason why I believe every gambler that successfully controls his buzz no matter the game result is automatically a big winner. It is not always after a gambler really wins big that he's a big winner.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling winner identity on: November 03, 2022, 12:59:36 PM
The man's reasoning is reasonable, but in my personal opinion this is an irresponsible act, he should as a husband, be honest with his wife or children and even if they turn into lazy, he just needs to educate them hard.
I can't support the man's idea nor did I see his act to be irresponsible cause it is easy to judge people when we don't know what they know or put ourselves in their shoes. But, one I know for sure is that something is very good that not many people know about.
If he invested the money in his family's future, he's a very responsible man.

what do you think, is the man's action right or if you experience it (win a big jackpot) will you do as the man did or even be honest with your victory to your family??
I can do something.
1 It will keep the man from possible attack
2 Family putting all the financial needs on him
3 Some women are not good at saving whenever they see money all they want is to go out shopping. if the man said he hide his identity because of his wife and children I think his family is in this category.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 03, 2022, 11:27:02 AM
Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts?
Yes, the high depositing fee will always discourage gamblers who are whales. I believe the idea of every ordinary gambler is to put their buzz in control and to achieve they must not spend beyond their budget.

If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble?
I believe the casino team/owner understands that starting the game is easy and hard to live when enjoying the game.

Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?
It depend but one I am sure of is that every online gambler like easy access to their fund no matter how small it may be.

Will we see more of this type of celebration? anyway, congratulations to Daniil Medvedev
The same Daniil Medvedev that was celebrated was the tennis player that give me a loss in today's Paris Masters Tennis tournament bet when he played against Alex de Minaur. It hurt because I strongly believe he (Daniil Medvedev) will win the game when I was given the chance to sell the game at a fair price I ignore it until I lost the whole bet.
540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: November 01, 2022, 04:27:18 PM
First, some people consider crypto trading to be gambling because of what's involved and the end results while some people don't agree with it. However, if we look deeply into we can say crypto trading is gambling, and what will tell how much gambling level that's involved in trading is vice-versa because it all depends on each trading knowledge and trading experience.
