521  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Remitano proving an alternative to Localbitcoins.? on: March 04, 2017, 01:44:50 PM
Started in April 2016 from facebook and the about pages say about them so their not that new.
And what language is this from their first post on their facebook page?

Chợ Bitcoin Remitano - Bấm để t́m Bitcoin giá tốt ngay
Nơi trao đổi Bitcoin AN TOÀN nhất
REMITANO.COM

I am wary to use this over an PRIMARILY English speaking website having anything to do with money that I am dealing with. Angry

Plus you forgot you posted this same question just a while ago?
Hello Bitcoiners,
If you are interested in buying btc at low prices than localbitcoins, and half the fee..
a new marketplace is in town,Reminato (dot)com or (dot) cn for those in china.
And in a few weeks bringing something revolutionarly in financial market.
Get my ad in reminato China region ,or inbox here if interested in btc,but we will only deal
on the platform ,no otc for trust issues.Go even confirm the prices and fee.
Thank you.
This is not a marketplace, nor an exchange, nor a place to buy bitcoin from. Reminato is a ponzi scheme, that offers 200% returns on "donations" for members. It does not even have a SSL Certificate, and contains a lot of spelling errors.

Why are u even talking about an exchange, when the site literally says it's nothing like an exchange? Are you just advertising your own ponzi scam here?

All your threads are about them. Angry
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dash or Ethereum? on: March 04, 2017, 01:38:21 PM
Anyone remember zcash?
Dash is reminding me of that scenario and how it was pumped and then died very quickly.
Only think is that Dash has been being built up for alot longer than zcash which was about 3-4 months if not less.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ETH be an attractive long term investment? on: March 03, 2017, 07:38:13 PM
I wanted to start getting into ETH but then whenever i do something in the back of my mind always stops me from pulling the trigger and actually buying any with the bitcoin that i have.
And then the memory of the etc/eth split and the hard forking always puts my mind back into perspective.

Lol! Cheesy

The real lyrics to "When the man comes around."

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts,
And I looked and behold: a pale horse.
And his name, that sat on him, was Death.
And Hell followed with him.

525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 03, 2017, 04:57:34 PM
Bitcoin was on Bloomberg live TV about 15 minutes ago, interviewing some guy about the ETF.

They weren't sure if the Winklevoss twins would use their own coin or have to buy more on the open market.

Whatever the case, they said there's going to be a huge run on Bitcoin in the event the SEC passes.  Very bullish.

Hope they archive it soon.

https://www.bloomberg.com/live/us

B...but weren't we told yesterday that all media is evil and they just ridicule Bitcoin and say its all a big hoax?  Huh

Just jokin...  Grin
I think there should be a lesson to be learned about the influence of what the media has on the misinformed before the ETF resultant is unveiled in 7 days from now March 10-11th midnight sharp. Grin

Just take the public allowed to buy shares in SnapChat yesterday.

Yet the media is saying they coped instagram.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/snapchat-instagram-whos-copying-951224

What does snapchat 20 something's multimillionaire creators care about that since they are getting paid now? Lips sealed

The media is like crack for those misinformed.
They will just gobble that all up and go where the money is. Always. Wink
526  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitrated: Bringing trust back to Bitcoin on: March 03, 2017, 04:17:39 PM
Heard of it but never really had a use to try out their service for myself.
So they don't work like a bitcoin market place but is a escrow service when buying digital goods and some physical one too?
i'm not so familiar with it but i was able to use it because i needed to sell my mrai and its really working just needed to make sure that the escrow is trustworthy to avoid being scam i use Hostfat as automatic escrow and made the trade successfully aside from mrai trade don't have time yet to explore more about bitrated services offer.
Do they only do alt coins or you can use their escrow service for anything you want?
How does the escrow know the seller actually has the item being sold?
It is quite confusing when an escrow is used with selling goods especially physical ones unless the seller is sending it them directly and they are sending it to you instead of the seller sending it to you and waiting until received then escrow releasing the funds held when the buyer confirms everything is ok to do so.

528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 105 satoshi/byte unconfirmed for 4 hours on: March 02, 2017, 09:32:57 PM
And yes. I have just got 1 confirmation. From now things should go better. Anyway i think it took long time to receive 1 confirmation. In past i know that 0.0002btc was a big fee with pretty fast confirmation
So it took you 4.5 hours to get 1 confirmation?
How much did you apply to the miner's fee (transaction charge/fee) using this viabtc way to accelerate the transaction quicker?
Didn't know if this way actually worked that quick or not. Undecided
529  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 100€ PayPal to 100€ BTC ! URGENT DEAL, PM ME. on: March 02, 2017, 09:30:23 PM
So you still need this done or what?
Skrill or paypal. It is confusing cause you are on another person's thread (amadil I think his name was) asking to do a fast trade cause you need it fast.
Just pm me with the details of how much you need in bitcoin and the way you want to pay it.
You need to send first cause you are on and off here and your internet connection has problems so don't know when you will just pop up again on here to pay up for the btc sent. Roll Eyes
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 105 satoshi/byte unconfirmed for 4 hours on: March 02, 2017, 09:08:14 PM
I had one yesterday at 140 sats/B and it tool longer than the estimated time to transact and receive 1 confirmation. It took over an hour. So nothing new or surprising with that.
I think I remember seeing a post that there still are unconfirmed transactions at still 60k so yours in queue.
So I wouldn't be too concerned about it being confirmed any time soon.
531  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase disabled buy/sell/transaction on: March 02, 2017, 06:47:54 PM
I can't even login now. It asks for Authy code and now when I installed the app, it cannot verify my code. Looks like their wallet is useless now for transactions. They need to work on everything if they don't want to lose their users. I've contacted their support and hope to get a reply soon.
Isn't it just sms code sent to your phone? That is what I remember they sent to you if you had problems logging in previously or they found a discrepency in your previous log in attempt.
I thought they had google authenticator enabled as a secondary security step.
Is that what your referring too perhaps?

They used to send codes to my phone earlier but I don't know why they changed this option to getting a code from Authy app. I also installed the app with my phone number saved with coinbase, got the coinbase code but still it shows that it's invalid. I don't know how to recover the account now.
Yes that was it either Authy (I have never trusted to use it in the first place) and google authenticator.
I don't think this will be the first account of this happening and definitely won't be the last.
532  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 02, 2017, 06:09:12 PM

534  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is coinbase down or is it just me? on: March 02, 2017, 03:03:49 PM
I would be crapping myself if I had any coins above 0.15btc and could not log into my account.
With all the problems people have been having with their service for the past week now. Starting with the cloudbleed incident I would of withdrawn all my coins from there and put them on a more reliable service or a more secure medium like a hardware wallet.
But that's just me. Embarrassed
535  Economy / Services / Re: Signature Campaign on: March 01, 2017, 02:11:38 PM
Ops made some mistakes while putting payout rates. ::fixed it:: check it again

You need to work on the original post a bit more.

Such as: How many participants you will be having in the campaign.
How long it will be running for.
Usually the signatures are different for each rank you are hiring.
And have it listed on the official signature campaign thread to be taken as an offer to anyone at all.
If you don't know how to do these things then hire someone to do it for you if your exchange services is making anything at all.
Mention how many people have used your service and any feedback from them would help your campaign efforts alot and not just seen as a fly by night exchanger like we have all seen before come and gone.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 01, 2017, 01:04:07 PM
Phoenix rookie F Dragan Bender (ankle) is out of a walking boot and hopes to return by mid-March. The Grizzlies rank 4th in defensive efficiency, while the young Suns rank 27th in that category. Take Memphis to grab an easy home victory on Tuesday.
So I am guessing this was an easy game to predict last night.
I turned it off when I saw the score 120-104 for the Grizzlies with only 1:42 left.
Kind of worried near the end of the second going into half time they were 38 both sides and Booker had the ball coming up court. He looked to be dominating the game early on. But with 1.18 odds it was Memphis's game to be had this night. Atleast that is what I would of thought. Embarrassed
537  Economy / Economics / Re: BitCoin Exchange on: March 01, 2017, 12:53:53 PM
If you do start an exchange and it gets popular and makes a lot of business then you would need to file taxes on those transactions and probably get a license to have it run.
Depending on you regional location that is. Wink
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the real originator of Bitcoin on: February 28, 2017, 10:06:44 PM
Well, we all agree here that the originator of Bitcoin is Satoshi Nakamoto and the community even named the smallest unit of bitcoin as satoshi. Since then Satoshi Nakamoto never used his account here and all becomes history. Some here also talks that he must have a team, for me maybe a group of persons for him to collaborate with the project. What they did is truly amazing, transforming the way we transact in the internet, creating opportunities from nothing etc.

Well, we all know or beleive that Satoshi is creator of Bitcoin but no one actualy knows if the person with this name actualy exists or is this just alias or pseudonimom and who is actualy hidden behind that name.
But whether this was Satoshi or someone else he did amazing job and created the future that we all benefit now.
People think it isn't a single person who created bitcoin but a group of people with the same idea.
It is just like the notion of saying a conglomerate of individuals with the same ideology can make something happen when they put their minds too it is the same thing that brought bitcoin into our society.
539  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Online Bitcoin wallet with lowest transaction fees on: February 28, 2017, 09:57:34 PM
I love https://coinb.in. It gives me full control of whatever I do.
What are the fees associated with sending bitcoin from address to address?
Just like blockchain.info?
If you have full control then you should be able to specify what transaction fee you wish to put on each of those sends am I correct?
540  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need payoneer have BTC on: February 28, 2017, 05:23:04 PM
