1281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | WORLDWIDE live dealer casino on: July 23, 2016, 09:56:39 PM
I suppose thats true then. A lot of people also have superstitions about luck too and can go into a very bad temper if something like this was to happen when they had bet huge money on it. I am actually  surprised she stopped the ball for any reason, since they are sort of taught to not do this, and she could have just paused further betting after the outcome of this spin had come out.
Exactly and that is the certain casino's (in this case the central america one that I believe is in Costa rica from what is inteacted on various social media sites) fault that should be held accountable for this.

I would suggest boycotting the whole cloudbet site as they do not abide by the accredited casino rules of play(probably fairness or otherwise) until they fixed their dealers to know these basic rules.
What was appauling was she just laughed when players asked what is to be done about this. Like it was a joke to her or she was just too ignorant to know what the players have at stake when theying are play at sites like this.

Cloudbet doesn't own those casinos but uses their services and hosts those live rooms on their site. They are not at fault directly, and since now they have been giving more options to the users by giving us more rooms, its only a good step for the players.

Of course that is true. It is from other companies that they pay to use these live-centers for their work. Like contractors and do not directly work for cloudbet. But if they are doing these deviant acts toward the players then it is cloudbet to investigate and drop them as a service provider. That is what they are to uphold to keep their integrity and thus their gambling license. Which in a major case like this could be in jeopardy when it is reported because it was viewed by all who was playing and it is indeed recorded.

Yes, but zend was recommending boycotting the whole site. I would first wait for Cloudbet to look into this, or drop that casino as a provider and also provide some form of refund or payout to the users who didn't have their bets complete on that rool.
It does not look like they frequent in this forum enough because there are questions being asked that are not getting answered from them at all.
This is a little concerning since the people who play there are their paying customers and should be treated as such and not too just be ignored.
1282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT CAN I DO WITH 0.1 BTC ?? on: July 23, 2016, 09:52:06 PM
That amount is not much now a days. But you could put it on an exchange and buy some good alternate coin. I have seen some good ones shoot up recently due to the increase in the bitcoin price before the halving.
Or you could just put it all on black on the roulette table to quickly double it to not know what to do with 0.2btc. Cheesy
But i don't advise anyone to do that. Wink
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you earn 5% interest daily on your bitcoins? on: July 23, 2016, 09:48:44 PM
Not exactly the percentage of interest the original poster is asking for but WageCan is offering 1% on your bitcoins monthly. From what I remember when I used them last year at around this time. I received a little bit of bitcoins every month on my balance. They call it a interest savings wallet.
Not sure if they still offer this amount of interest or if it is at this value anymore for future deposits. But their wallet is still working.
1284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: July 23, 2016, 09:45:37 PM
No way, it's to volatile.

I wouldn't want to be paid my whole salary in bitcoin for this reason. However, a small portion would be nice -- say, similar to a deduction for 401k savings. Instead of 5% going to my 401k, I could put 5% into bitcoin for longterm savings/investment. I have a feeling that the tiny law firm that I work for won't be paying in bitcoin anytime soon, though. Cheesy
Actually that isn't a half bad idea for employers to consider this. It would probably save them in the long run.  Wink
Working in a law firm I would of thought they would embrace being able to pay you another currency that could save them money in the long run instead of paying out in one that is not so volatile. You know lawyers  Roll Eyes  save a buck here save a buck there. It is the sound of money that is all they are after.
I heard in the philippines some companies prefer to pay their workers in bitcoin cause they have a really good system in place to be able to send money overseas without the high fees the bank and money transfer companies they have to deal with charge them.
1285  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: July 23, 2016, 09:34:39 PM
It would be a dream of mine to be able to get paid in bitcoin. That would not be a problem for me where I live.  Smiley
There are so many ways to cash it out with bitcoin debit cards and atms are bountiful in my neck of the woods.  I just check google maps to locate one where ever I am when i need to transfer some to another person. No fuss no muss Grin
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: July 23, 2016, 09:31:33 PM
I don't doubt it at all that there are people who are under age that gamble on their parents internet and computer. They use their credit cards to purchase apps from the Apple store so why not on a gambling website. Don't underestimate what kids are capable now a days as someone has mentioned already.

Even people who aren't allowed to gamble in their own countries manage to get on those sites and do it anyways, so why not theses kids who are age restricted Roll Eyes
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POKEMON GO LIKE SITE TO PLAY FOR BITCOINS? on: July 23, 2016, 09:28:33 PM
I heard that there are rare Pokemon specific to different continents and the only way other than hopping on a plane and traveling over the world to catch these is to get them to hatch from eggs. I think when trading is added to the game these special location-specific Pokemon will be worth a lot of in-game currency so probably people will be trading these on 3rd party trading websites and the possibility of trading these for Bitcoin is real I think.
If Nintendo plays it's cards right (no pun in'tend'ed) they can make this as popular as Magic The Gathering Series card game from the 90's. I am sure everybody and their mother remembers how addict that was and it was old school when the internet was just a fad. Grin
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POKEMON GO LIKE SITE TO PLAY FOR BITCOINS? on: July 23, 2016, 03:28:44 PM
Just heard that someone caught them all  Grin
It took little under a month and located in the US of course because it was not released in all locations.  Japan customers just got it available a few days ago and Nintendo Japan were the creators. Roll Eyes
Alittle bit over a hundred is all that is available for someone to have in a collection  Huh
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POKEMON GO LIKE SITE TO PLAY FOR BITCOINS? on: July 23, 2016, 02:20:40 AM
If niantic knew bitcoin, it may accept bitcoin for purchasing it's cash.
But AFAIK, google knew about altcoin named Etherium ( ETH ) so let's hope they will realize the power of bitcoin and start accept bitcoin so bitcoin will getting more popular than ever
If google recognizes Ethereum then they should accept it as a form of payment. And now that google has some attachment to nintendo thru pokemon go game then it is a step in the right direction for the next step is to implement bitcoin as a form of payment since you can exchange it for Ethereum anyways. 1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP 2016 Discussion and Tips on: July 22, 2016, 03:59:32 PM
Not suprise a win from Dortmund because they have play almost their full squad in the start of the game. What really suprise is Manchester United lost by 4 goals to 1. Yeah it's just a friendly tour match but there no reason they can't defend good enough , isn't new signing Eric Bailly is there for then? I think Manchester United should stop dreaming for the fantasy Paul Pogba and start bringing some decent defender.
I knew they would implode  Roll Eyes
I even bet on no goals for Manchester United but obviously lost that bet.
You can not beat a German team now with their defeat at the Euros. They are out for vengeance and will stop at nothing to save face against other country rivals. Cool
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POKEMON GO LIKE SITE TO PLAY FOR BITCOINS? on: July 17, 2016, 04:18:19 PM
Just be careful with with Pokemon app you use. There are fakes going around call Pokemon Go Ultimate:
https://www.engadget.com/2016/07/15/watch-out-for-fraudulent-pokemon-go-apps/

They can lock your screen and some other things that can cause your smart phone massive problems.
1293  Economy / Services / Re: Need active members for a Pokemon GO Forum on: July 17, 2016, 04:03:34 PM
It is for recruiting these forums members to join their forum. Nothing more.
Once they get enough members they will stop paying people to post. Thats how it work on forums ppls.  Wink
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 17, 2016, 02:48:55 PM
When will Formula one wrap up their season for this year?
I think Lewis Hamilton won the last race that I watched from the highlight reels.
But there was one right after that.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: July 17, 2016, 02:46:05 PM
So I am guessing you want people to hold their bitcoins in an exchange so they are "actively" being used. That to me is against what bitcoin was intended for when it was created.
A free flowing system is what the blockchain is all about.
1296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betmoose.com on: July 17, 2016, 12:12:05 PM
I like the site design, and damn the volume on the 45th US election.

Are there any options for investors or is this a parimutuel betting site?
It seems to be a sole ownership site if that is what you mean  Wink
I asked another site a while ago if I could possibly buy their casino. Their answer was straight and a precise no. These owners see their site's potential to grow and don't want any outside interference involved if all is going as they have planned. And so far it seems this site has alot going for it so no, I don't see them wanting any more investors.
1297  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betmoose.com on: July 17, 2016, 03:36:40 AM
I don't believe he can do this even on a newer site like this with over two months to wait.
i dont think that it is a very new site as i found an official thread of this site here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=645747.0 the thread was started on june 09, 2014 so you can say that it is a 2 years old site but i have to say that it is not much popular though.
Normally you can not cancel bets once they arr placed on casinos. If that were the case then alot of people would be doing this for their bets too.
yes you are right but since it is a sports bet and the game is not yet started, there is a possiblity that the bet could be cancelled if op contacts the support.
But I said you can not cancel your bet once you make it. Huh
If that was the case then I would of cancelled my bet for France to beat Portugal in the Euro's 3 days before it started if I had an idea it was not going to go France's way. And I think alot of people would of done the same if they had the same feeling as I did.
1298  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betmoose.com on: July 17, 2016, 02:40:34 AM
Created my first bet on a prediction site. Just testing it out to see what happens.

betmoose.com/bet/nhl-regular-season-wins-matchup-panthers-vs-sabres-2039
I never heard about betmoose... But I checked you bet and it will be settled in 76 days. Hell of a patience you have to place bets like that.
You will forget about this bet before this game will even start. I will suggest you would rather cancel that bet and place another on present events.

1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 17, 2016, 02:00:49 AM
I only bet on a few games last year in this Italian league and it was for Napoli.
Now that I hear this news I think I won't be placing anymore bets on them.
I hate when teams trade their star players just in the sake for money. Where is their homeland (city in this case) pride?  Angry
