681  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: $1200 disappeared in Coinbase on: February 03, 2017, 12:26:02 PM
Cheapair Undecided
You know that Expedia accepts bitcoin as payment now don't you?
I am not sure what payment method they use but it better not be coinbase after hearing this night mare of a story.
What if the ticket that you booked was to fly the next day? Then you would lose your $1200 purchase via bitcoin and coinbase would not have refunded you at all from their lack of customer support and service from the way this story was portrayed.
682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2017, 12:10:57 PM
Yup, a couple more dumps to shore up support and we're going up, next target ATH?
So that's how it's done. Undecided
Interesting to know to get it to uptick by a couple of tenors to get it past the ATH.
Pretty sly. Wink
But that isn't enough to keep it stable for the long run.
We need more whales to keep the rally going and not just small time buys to just have a drop in the bucket. Grin
683  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: UAE Bank will not Ban Bitcoin Usage on: February 03, 2017, 12:04:17 AM
So the oil rich region of the Emirates is the step in the right direction to show the other lesser rich countries (in terms of energy rich) to follow suit and allow bitcoin to evolve into it's own without any interference.
Just let it be and do what it was created to do. Angry
684  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: EOBot Mining software on computer legit? on: February 02, 2017, 09:57:55 PM
nicehash has an interesting algorithm that pays out 10 cents a day in bitcoin on quad thread intel chips if nothing else.

neoscrypt can be mined on cpu's(i'd suggest quad cores) and intel hd gpu's but we're talking altcoins to make a profit without waiting until 2025
From these numbers might as well have nodes all connected to each other to make it worth your while using these sites as intermediaries to your mining.
Just my thoughts on these type of questions about nicehash and eobot.
Haven't used them first hand but they're is always a catch when dealing with these sites.
They are after all looking out for themselves and that bottom line in making money.
Am I right in this assumption?
685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2017, 07:02:55 PM
This ONE-THOUSAND must be our new floor.

Obviously it is, and IMHO it is here to stay for a while.
I can not seeing it go below $1000 at this point. It shot pass it without a flinch in rolling on forward.
Just need to wait until the next economic news comes and see how it withstands what China exchanges and Trump is doing to the states economic woes have in store for the next 48 hours. If it stays above the price it is at now then it can be bulletproof. Wink
686  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000$ rally tomorrow on: February 02, 2017, 05:41:55 PM
$1000 on all markets.
I just noticed it on blockchain's price ticker when logging in to my account. I was thrown back when I looked at the top seeing $1000.79  Cheesy

It didn't take to long to break that resistance point and did it quite easily if you ask me. No fluttering back and fourth this time. Just straight bull rush push to the top! Wink
687  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 02, 2017, 02:37:01 PM
I have recently tried the website and the faucet button is actually a nice addition to your freebies. I was not able to get online when there was a giveaway, so I am very much looking forward to that next giveaway by visiting the chat room every now and then. More power to you guys.
It is working now? When I tried it the first time I went to the site it did not work for some reason. I think it said I had to have a balance from what I remember or have played before. I can not remember the message exactly afterall it was over a month ago and I think I was just coming back from a party so not totally paying attention to all the warnings on the screen. It was Christmas and New years at that time so you know what I am referring too. Wink
688  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cloud mining/Investing or trading on localbitcoins? on: February 02, 2017, 06:45:19 AM
Not cloudmining. From what I get in my junk mail folder from these sites it would take 5-6 months just to get back a roi and that is without any profit.
They charge alot in fees called electricity fees and whatever they wish to call them but it is really not worth it.
I would venture to say start in trading but find a good site to sign up with that doesn't charge too much in transaction fees. Some even charge you one to deposit into your own account. So figure that one out. Undecided
There are two sites that come to mind when you mentioned localbitcoins. Paxful which has a promotion going on for signing up an account with them and the other one is virwox where you can buy bitcoins from them.
You can try each of them out to see which one fits your needs.
Good luck with your adventure into the bitcoin investing world. Smiley
689  Economy / Economics / Have you heard of the Trump&dump bot? It automatically sells stock on his tweets on: February 02, 2017, 04:37:27 AM
This is an interesting thing to see.
When Trump mentions a company by name in his tweets this bot automatically recognizes it and sells off that stock in your trading portfolio.
A company named T3 I think their called from the states created it and it is working for them. I think it is still in beta testing phase but it has generated accurate data with almost 95% successful rate of the stock market prices.
I believe this would be good for bitcoin traders too if it can be designed to watch twitter for any news that can affect the price of bitcoin and then automatically sell or buy on the exchange that you are on.
Or have I missed out on this and it has already been created?
Do not mind me if I got it wrong. I am just starting out in bitcoin exchange trading. Actually looking for a reliable exchange to join and start trading and I think I have found one but haven't put anything into yet unless something else comes along that's better. Grin

690  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase - not able to buy via PayPal? Wtf? on: February 02, 2017, 12:12:36 AM
It's true that they partnered with paypal but it wasn't too clear these transactions allowed are in their favor.
In order to withdraw for a selected paypal account which has to be verified just as your coinbase account is.
You know why? So if there is any problems with the transaction then you are completely liable for any transactions that occur using them as intermittent aries and they fail to tell you up front you could be in arrears of up to $200,000 if they need to reverse a transaction and guess what? They will be allowed too if you linked your bank account you clicked on an agreement and most people do not read it to carefully and just click the check box. They do not know what they are agreeing too. So they got you in their sights if anything goes wrong with those paypal transactions. They are not losing any money in there transaction with using them here and could garner your wages as most people's pay checks go to their bank accounts now which is a requirement for almost all companies in the western world anyways.
691  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: China and Mining on: February 02, 2017, 12:00:23 AM
This is what I received in morning from a mining company which i signed up for recently.

"Bitcoin has had a surprise of volatility in the last month, rising from $600 USD to $1150 USD and hovering around $900 USD lately. This price rise has helped increase mining returns and lower electricity/maintenance fees. The price rose due to a variety of factors, including India outlawing paper currency, Trump becoming president, and Chinese regulators clamping down on some of the speculation coming out of Chinese exchanges. Here's hoping to a continued rise in 2017 and an acceptance of Bitcoin by the PBOC.

If you are looking for the world's best mousepad, you can buy one using Bitcoin at - dot com.

Until next time...happy mining,
-The - Team"

If this is true then China would be the best place to be mining. And it shows when they can justify building stadium sized mining compounds just to benefit from those electricity costs.
692  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-01]Bitcoin Price Crosses $975 as Global Political Tensions Steam on: February 01, 2017, 11:59:20 PM
I do not think any of the political strife that is going on now is indirectly affecting the price of bitcoin.
If it relates to the economy directly then yes then I can say those events did and continue to influence on the price of bitcoin.
Only what is going in China and their exchanges are the driving force of the epic surge of the price in bitcoin in the last 72 hours.
As soon as the announcement came into the public media on how they will be regulating fees of these Chinese exchanges due to the mass crackdowns on them in the past months has the confidence been higher than ever for the bitcoin economy behind the red curtain. Where the majority of the miners are.
693  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-31] Federal Reserve Employee Mines Bitcoin Using the Fed’s Server on: February 01, 2017, 11:51:01 PM
i wonder what's the hardware spec...

LOL to feds
Probably Dell servers until they go off warranty then to HP servers. I would be very surprised if they are still using IBM cause those were installed in the 80's and should of been upgraded in 2000's. Security issues would be the major concern here cause of no firmware updates offered for outdated equipment.

Lol, government employees have not much to do during the work, that's why Trump will cut the inefficient government workforce. I remember a friend told me that their company analysis the government web traffic and found a lot from superball streaming videos and fashion show videos.
This would save alot of money for the government and they should fire more people that aren't doing their jobs just like the attorney general was and replaced with someone who actually wants to do their job and not be accused of treason against the US president and thus against US policies put in place.
It does not matter if you believe in the president or not but you must abode by the laws put in place to keep the security of the country you are assigned to uphold.
694  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bitnowa.com SCAM on: February 01, 2017, 11:42:26 PM
Website is not even functional anymore and I couldn't find informations about the website , I checked the domain details and It was literally created on 04-jan-2017 so I'm not sure how you find them but from the look of it , they probably wasn't planning to run for a long time and simply walk away with user funds.
http://servicehostnet.com/domain/bitnowa.com

bitnowa.com si scam , waited one week now and nothing arrive , please beware.
Actually now it seems they have gone for forever, you should have checked about their reputation before trusting them. Any service that claim to sell bitcoin for paypal can't be reliable as paypal strictly restrict this activity. Sorry for your loss..
Only thing I can find anything about them is some random stuff asking for a vouching of services from the beginning of the year on Jan 4th.
Their website is offline and only comes up with a cloudflare page so they are gone for good.
https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinBeginners/comments/5obj5x/can_anyone_vouch_for_bitnowacom

And those users on reddit in saying their exchange is based is New York is a sure sign to tell you they were not going to last. Because they would need a license to operate as an exchange there now and that costs alot of money which was put into law a couple of months ago.
Just watch the latest documentary to see how that transpired.
695  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where can I buy bitcoin without verifying Id? on: February 01, 2017, 11:28:18 PM

And what do you have to say about using them for an exchange?
Any feedback on your experience in using them would be appreciated.
I have had this thread opened for nearly three days and it seems nobody has used them as their main exchange or have heard of them before.
696  Economy / Exchanges / BitSquare is a good exchange to start trading? on: January 31, 2017, 12:03:46 AM
From what I have reading they are a solid exchange to start investing into.
Just from the reddit reviews alone got me to decide to go with them hands down.
Posted from an experienced user of BitSquare.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4rjk5c/bitsquareio_first_user_experience/

"Coins are locked in a 2-3 multi-sig wallet. Seller, buyer and arbitrator each 'control' one key. As a user you're not exposed to that process. You're basically confirming your actions (accept trade contract, sent payment, received payment) which automatically releases the coins if the protocol is followed as intended.
Only if there's a problem, an arbitrator steps in and enforces his decision about the case. Coins are released with the arbitrator's key and the honest trade partner's key."

"To me bitsquare lacks something centralised exchanges have: being able to buy/sell again and again with reasonable speed.
Bitsquare might be great for acquiring bitcoin or selling bitcoin for fiat. But it's not practical platform for day trading IMO."

What are you the forum members here have to say about them as a whole.

I went to another one to sign up for but they just didn't sell me on why I should use them instead of them. Undecided
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: January 30, 2017, 09:04:06 PM
Been wanting to try my hand in the exchange market and finally did sign up for one.
It took a while to decide which one simply because there are a lot of them to choose from. Undecided
I am using BitSquare.
Anyone else can tell me how their experience have been with them and their trades?
Haven't put any bitcoins in to them yet just signed up so that is all for the time being.
Don't want to rush into things. Wink
They seem like a legitimate company to deal with so this would be a suggestion if you want to start small before going with the bigger ones that hold more on hand then this one. But it seems to be a good choice to start off with if you do not have any experience in trading investments like myself. Smiley
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy at $780-800 USD on: January 11, 2017, 05:43:20 PM
Buy all the coins, ALL OF THEM.

This is the resistance line.. HODL IT and profit from it.
Enjoy bagholding , price will go sub 700 fast.
Can I get a guarantee on that. Because I have been watching it and saw it go just below $800 but then it increased by $10 just when I was about to buy some so now held off on it until it drops even further, if it even does.
If it does go to $700 I would imagine most if not all the badholders will sell at that time because dropping by more than $200 over a 12 hour period is too much for most to handle and they will end up with a seize of somekind if they do hold for too long. Lips sealed
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 11, 2017, 05:22:51 PM

Lets see what happens when people start trying to make withdrawals.
At that point it could very well be another Mt.Gox event that will unfold.

Get your bitcoin ready to sell just before that happens.
That could be a devasting effect and heads will explode when that happens.

How history tends to repeat itself. Roll Eyes
How long did it take for the ATH of $1263 take to start going down? An hour?
I would be ready people if I were you! Embarrassed
700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be fooled by chinese issue. on: January 11, 2017, 03:20:47 PM
Yeah seems like a move to stop the flow of Yuan over the Bitcoin. It was obvious the Chinese government was afraid of the implications, and did whatever they could to prevent the obvious crash of their fiat currency.

Just a matter of time before the FUD settles, and the Rally picks up where it left over... with more momentum.
I can see how it can be a tactic by the Chinese government to not have the yuan diminish any further.
It is a way for them to save their own national currency.
They are in panic mode and this is the only way they see to stop this from overflowing into chaos and having their renminbi devaluate even further.
Causing their very own economy from being out of their own control.
This chaos that I am talking about is =
Bitcoin allows it's own citizens full control of their money and this is what their government fears the most.
