1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ♥♦♣♠RIO Olympic Basketball Official Discussion Thread ♥♦♣♠ on: August 07, 2016, 03:12:17 AM
I think we already know who the team will be the winner for this year, yeah they are brazil because they have neymar for this year of course that would make them be stronger than another team.

basketball is this not football
here brazil have little chances for some medal USA is prime for gold silver and bronze will be interesting cuz mainly Europe team will take that
How can you get football (soccer to the americans here) confused with basket-ball? They are two totally different sports when one is played inside and the other for the Olympics are played outside. Roll Eyes

Now that was an epic fail of an answer to the post you were responding too.  Cheesy
Not you azguard. Wink
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: mlb bets 8/6 saturday on: August 07, 2016, 01:10:22 AM
But doing that would show the win loss record so I don't think he would want to do that.
Boston has been to hot as of late so better to move on to easier picks.
I like your Washington pick for today and St.Louis is a good team as well.
1123  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: i have some btc, some paypal, for pm. on: August 07, 2016, 01:07:26 AM
How much in bitcoin are we talking about here?
I might be interested if I have the available funds in perfect money to cover how much you have exactly in btc.

Let me know.
Thanks.

After much thought, analysis, and consultation, we have arrived at the conclusion that losses must be generalized across all accounts and assets. [...] Upon logging into the platform, customers will see that they have experienced a generalized loss percentage of 36.067%.

So, what's the current consensus? That's the end of finex as a relevant trading platform?

maybe.. because this is all starting to look sketched .. i have never traded on bitfinex, therefore, i have no interest or emotions tied into their hackfest.. the impression i am getting is a US exchange based in hong kong who kept all their coins in hot wallets to skirt the sec (or whatever they are called) .. they suddenly get hacked for 120k coins 68M and now they are the authority setting the precedence that exchanges will do bail-ins to socialize losses.. they are planning to push out their very own "token" that might become a tradeable asset on their exchange .. if they dump alt coins on exchanges to buy the BTC they need to recoup their losses, this could be considered market manipulation by BFX exchange ... the whole thing is full of sketch ... BFX problems might be just starting .... probably better hold on and see how this all plays out... cuz these guys look sketchy as hell right now .

Give me my Bitfinex tokens then I might consider to leave it alone too! Angry

Liverpool 4 - 0   Barcelona Really it is fantastic score for liverpool and gool machine Barcelona couldnt find one goal at this match and really it was unexpected results.

I must say that it was unexpected i didnt think they will win this and with this score to

It's really unexpected dude, no one expected Barcelona will lose without a single goal on that match. My bet also lose on this match, both teams to score.
I stopped using this method when placing a bet on these primer matches of the new season.
Not all teams are full steam ahead straight out of the gate and Barcelona has proven this point that I am trying to make to a tea.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BFX Tokens Issued, Bitfinex decides on Generalized Losses on: August 07, 2016, 12:57:51 AM
Tokens Huh
That is what the casinos give out in exchange for your REAL MONEY. Angry
What is this a joke?  Huh
I am sure that they will be getting a lot lawyers calling their offices come Monday to find out the meaning of this mockery.
1127  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTSBET.IO - Place where you can bet with bitcoins on: August 07, 2016, 12:55:20 AM
You going to make good on the raffle this time and have no problem with the people who win this time? Was that settled with all those that won their Euro 2016 picks? Huh
1128  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you earn 5% interest daily on your bitcoins? on: August 07, 2016, 12:52:01 AM
5% a day... Banks offer less than that in a year!

5% a day = 35% a week.

If there was such a method that were actually legal, we'd all be rich. There are people still living in the street, so no.

Even worse, banks here offer you a massive 0.6% interest on your savings annually. I can remember letting my money rest in my savings account for like 4.5% years ago. And now the interest is not even worth making jokes about. That low is it. And the current 0.6% interest rate will be lowered to 0.5% within 2 months!!
You know banks make more interest on your money than you do?
They trade you money with other banks and get alot more for it at a higher interest for lending it out

So that 4.5% interest are just pennies compared to what they get for trading with your money.
Think about that the next time you look at how much interest you are getting from holding any of your money in a saving account.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: August 07, 2016, 12:44:34 AM
I find it fun because it is a challenge and I always find them fun to do. Sort of like crossword puzzles or board games. I find them fun and challenging when you are playing against the right opponent that is. Wink
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 07, 2016, 12:39:15 AM
Did you guys watch Liverpool - Barca?  The reds won 4 - 0.  Brilliant showcase from Liverpool.  I'm hoping to see more games like this from them.  It's such a delight to watch that kind of performance.  I wish Klopp will play Origi this season as part of the first 11.

Yeah, it's an unexpected result from Liverpool on that match versus Barcelona, win 4-0 versus barcelona, wow. I don't know is barcelona playing bad or liverpool playing good.
First game of the season so unsteady nerves lets call it. Embarrassed
They will not lose their next match. I will bet on them to win and by alot of goals to make up for this flocking that they were dealt with at the hands of Liverpool. Wink
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In gambling, Money is more important than knowledge and luck on: August 07, 2016, 12:35:43 AM
Money is the defining factor in why we gamble so why put knowledge in that equation?
It is based on luck if a player is too win more than it is on strategy or more a lack of.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: “RISK” - Motivating factor rather than a Prevention factor in Gambling? on: August 07, 2016, 12:31:31 AM
That sense of risk is kind of an adrenaline booster to the more seasoned gambler.
Without that risk factor involved then I think they sense something is wrong and they will reassess the situation and decline to do anymore betting until this void of that absent feeling resolved.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 07, 2016, 12:26:28 AM
I think atletico not need to buy striker due they have griezmann maybe would be nice if atletico buy the player have great passed like mesut ozil, mahrez, silva.

Griezman is not really a striker, you could call him shadow striker or whatever but he is not a striker so they need atleast one tough striker that could be a target for the defender so griezman could run infront without having to worry to be blocked by the defenders. In term of passing, their midfielder is actually quite good, they made it to the champions league final afterall
Atletico is full of defensive players so they need more than just a shadow striker. They need someone who can be in the middle and not just outside the box. Then they would have a chance to actually win a cup instead of coming in second or third place all the time.
They have the toughness to get through a match with not too many goals against them but the offensive skill is not there near the end of the match when it matters the most to either keep the lead or break out and score the game winning goal . Embarrassed
1134  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Koncept Cars Introduction: Bitcoin, Cars, and More on: August 07, 2016, 12:21:28 AM
I had no idea that you can get custom made parts for you car bought with bitcoin.
This is a big thing where I live and if those automotive enthusiasts knew about bitcoin I am sure they would rather pay with that then with cash any day.
1135  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 07, 2016, 12:17:19 AM
Just find a lucrative way to make bitcoin whether that be in mining, coding or other task that you can apply what you have learned from you experiences in the information technology field. That is the best way to make a steady income for life. Grin
1136  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Bitcoin Betting on: August 07, 2016, 12:04:07 AM
I would love to start betting on these Olympic games but since there are a lot different games to choose from I can not decide which ones to pick. Huh
It seems that basketball is fairly easy to pick but about soccer is it better to bet on womens then then mens games? Tennis would also be a pick of the games I would like to bet on but undecided on who to choose to win.

I was very surprised with this result for I would of put over 3.5 goals but having Barcelona winning this match easily. Boy was I unpleasantly surprised when I looked at the end score on the sports news tonight. Embarrassed
That was a massacre. Undecided
1138  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: August 06, 2016, 11:54:31 PM
Having and keeping 21 bitcoin is very difficult right now. With all the loss and the down slope of the price too $100 in the last week it is not the time to spend it but you must in order to try and more of it or keep it at 21 as long as you.
I would put them in an entrusted person so you don't spend them and wait until the price increases again then sell them when that time comes. That is the only way you can be sure to gain anything from them.
1139  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: bitcoin hyip are they a gamble? on: August 06, 2016, 11:05:00 PM
They watch when the big investor come in then at that time they stop all interest payments to the smaller ones and then quickly close their site down to not lose too much from those interest payments. This is how they work. They wait until people are a bit more comfortable with using them then once a big investor deposits they run for the hills with a big profit.
1140  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: August 06, 2016, 11:01:40 PM
Not everybody can do this unless you have alot of bitcoin held and trade it constantly. I can then see how just these people can change the way bitcoin's value can increase or decrease so drastically that is noticeably on the price exchange markets.
