521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / G7 Central Banks plans to start buying cryptocurrency this year on: April 10, 2018, 07:05:15 AM
https://www.coindesk.com/2018-year-central-banks-begin-buying-cryptocurrency/

As said in this article 2018 will be the richest year for cryptocurrency as the central bank preferably the so called G7 are pouring money into cryptocurrency.
According to them" In 2018, cryptocurrencies like bitcoin will be utilized for international trade on a moderate basis because the high returns as an investment will encourage a 'hold' strategy for G7 countries".  They also added that bitcoin and other selected cryptocurrencies will be added to the list of eligible securities and currencies.

After reading this news, I shared this immediately in this forum since it is a big news to all of crypto holders especially to bitcoin enthusiasts. If the G7 will pour their money into cryptocurrency then surely we will hit 50k$ to bitcoins value this year.
522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price has never been so stable like the last 4 Hours on: April 10, 2018, 06:58:00 AM
I guess down to very low volume at the moment but the price is very stable around 6750. Never seen this recently.

Calm before the storm or just another sign that people have moved on?

This is the sign that the exchanges have already stopped selling a large volume of bitcoins in order for them to pay their taxes. According to Tom Lee, this April 17 all bitcoin exchanges will be finished paying their taxes and this means that the exchanges will no longer sell their btc holdings in huge volume. This may be the sign that bitcoin will go up in the coming days.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can bitcoin have a good impression if there are people like this!?? on: April 10, 2018, 06:47:52 AM
Because of that people who does not understand bitcoin will just simply say bitcoin is a scam do not invest in bitcoin. I have heard many people saying like that, and I just smiled since I know they dont understand what bitcoin really is. Even the news reporters are also have less knowledge about bitcoin and would also say do not invest in bitcoin, invest in security's and stocks instead.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: April 09, 2018, 04:16:37 PM
yes i believe it is a good time to start because you buy at a cheap rate.

There are many people on this forum that says bitcoin is already at a cheap rate. But what if the value will go down again. But nevertheless it is never too late to invest on bitcoin. And it is never too late to to some research and understand how it works. It is never to late to earn and so if you will invest in bitcoin make sure to sell it only if you already have a positive profit and hold if you have a negative profit or a little profit at all.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 04:10:09 PM
answer your question is yourself. You have money so you do your due diligence by searching for more information and feeling the market but the final decision should come from you. Now, if you ask me my opinion, I would say that the best time to invest in Bitcoin will always be there now and the best time Since we are in bitcoin forums, most of us believe bitcoin is a good investment but you have to follow some rules when you invest and you do not seem to know anything about it.

This is funny. I am talking about your first line. But this is true since this is the reality. He keeps on asking whether he should buy bitcoins or not and if we answer yes and the market goes down then probably he will  blame us for losing his capital. Second is if we tell him not to and bitcoins have increased in value then he will criticize us saying if you did not advise me I have already invested in bitcoin and become a millionaire already.

As for me, I will also not advise him to buy bitcoin rather I will suggest that he should make some research about bitcoin. Understand how the market works so he himself can assess if he is ready and willing to invest in it or not.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For how long will bitcoin exist on: April 09, 2018, 04:01:15 PM
i have been thinking bitcoin cannot last forever..............i need you guys opinion if what im thinking is right.
bitcoin will last forever. Bitcoin has existed for nearly 10 years and there are many signs will increase stronger. I believe that Bitcoin can continue to live in 100 or 200 years. so many people have the opportunity to earn more money

The technological development today is moving in a rapid speed. Thus it is only a matter of decades before bitcoin will be replace by a much better currency. We cannot tell time so it is hard to predict that bitcoin will really survive the harsh world of the future. But it is easy to say that bitcoin may no longer be useful 30 years from now. Though it wont matter since before that time comes we are already millionaires because of bitcoin.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m out on: April 09, 2018, 03:58:36 PM
I had a blood clot on my brain in late January and stroked out.By the time I got out of hospitals rehab a month later I’m seeing 85% losses, with no end in site. I can’t ride this rollercoaster any lower. I’ll be happy to escape with some profits now rather than ending up underwater. Good luck to all.

Every situation is different, so I can't oppose your stance. I totally understand people who are dealing with health issues needing to pull out for financial or psychological reasons. I don't think cryptocurrencies are for everyone. Good luck.

In line with your statement since the author have a special case or an emergency situation then it is reasonable for him to go out of btc and sell them all. The hospitals and pharmacy's are not accepting bitcoin thus he really needs to  pay his bills and buy some medicine. But, if he is wise he should left some btc behind in preparation for the future.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will become more popular on: April 09, 2018, 03:56:01 PM
We are here to see bitcoin becoming the world's most popular currency
If you have the same opinion leave a comment here and predict this

when will it happen!
Sit and talk Wink

Bitcoin is already the worlds most famous currency online. But offline, fiat currency rules. In my opinion, bitcoin could never take over fiat currency even in the long run since the government of the world will not allow a currency they cannot control to dominate them. Thus if cryptocurrency will be the new trend of the times the government will create their own blockchain and will create their own cryptocurrency. In that time possibly the ruling cryptocurrency will be that of the leading superpower country.
529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading for 6k? opportunity for sell and buy more later? on: April 09, 2018, 03:49:24 PM
is bitcoin heading for 6k?

what will be the price for bitcoin that will lead to large scale collapse of mining rings, that have specialised on bitcoin?

now at 6.6k again.

is this now a good opportunity to sell any buy more later?

regards

We cannot really tell if it is good to buy now since we cannot determine  on what price will bitcoin is going to. But you can slice down your dollars, and that is you can buy now and when the bitcoins value goes down again you can buy again. If it drops again then you can buy again until all your dollars are all spent on btc.  But whatever happens in bitcoin just make sure to follow such simple instructions, except for some special reasons; and that is to buy low and sell high.
530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why transactions takes so long? on: April 09, 2018, 03:44:46 PM
Paypal has no blockchain and its movement is internal. Bitcoin is also fast, if you try using blockchain.info and send some bitcoins to another address in blokchain.info then you will notice that it will only take a blink of an eye and your bitcoin is already transferred since the transaction is done internally. But if you send out btc to an external wallet then that would take long since it needs some confirmation to avoid double spending.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: April 09, 2018, 03:25:56 PM
Did you guys teach your family members on how to access and use your Bitcoin in case you will die?
Do you want to take your Bitcoin with you when you're gone?

Let me hear it from your own opinions...
When we die our bitcoin stay alone no one can get or any member of family and friends will heirs it

Well we are on the same path. My reason is that my bitcoins is too small for my children to inherit. I am always encashing my bitcoins to pay for the monthly bills and the daily need of my family. I also have to pay for the tuition of my wife who is in college and my kids in nursery. Even If I die without teaching them, I have no regrets since the bitcoin I have was already being used for my family's needs and future.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will destroy the bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 03:13:10 PM
Bitcoin is not invincible it has many factors to consider to stay alive. First is the trust of the people, without the people giving bitcoin their support and trust bitcoin will not become a currency online but just a number on a address. Second, the internet connection, without the internet connection bitcoin will die since it can no longer make any transactions online.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Governments Banning Bitcoins. Its Going To be Dead By 2020 on: April 09, 2018, 02:48:35 PM
There are countries that are banning the use of bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies. But this does not imply that all the other governments will be banning bitcoin. If you are very sure on you words then can you post an announcement coming from countries that they will ban bitcoin, place the list here. There are very few countries that have banned bitcoin, thus this mean that bitcoin is working on still expanding on the other countries of the world. 2020 is a very rich year for bitcoin.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ban OR Bitcoin over taxation? on: April 09, 2018, 01:30:42 AM
The latest ban on Bitcoin by India has raised some questions. Is it wise to simply ban Crypto currencies, when you can keep

it legal and over tax it? Look what the Japanese did with their Bitcoin decision. They declared Bitcoin legal and then started to

over tax it. The Indian government lose all that tax income when they ban it,  but Japan reap all the benefits of the tech and

they gather extra high tax income from their decision. Do you prefer a blanket ban or extra high tax on Bitcoin use?

Most people will say, "Rather give me the high taxes", but I think these high taxes will eventually kill the adoption in that

country in the long run. Why use a Alternative currency, if the tax on that currency or commodity is higher than the Fiat

equivalent? What say You?

Placing a high tax on bitcoin is better than banning and this is my belief. Exchanges are earning millions a day from transaction fees from the trading to the withdrawal. Just imagine thousands of people doing tens to hundreds of trades day will make the crypto exchange hundreds of millions monthly. With this at hand it is right to place a high tax since they are earning that much, it is fair and just.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: April 08, 2018, 01:38:31 PM
When i look at the way it is mentioned in the page , why are not any drugs bought only with Bitcoin. This impression is not good for Bitcoin, they can be bought with all kinds of money. The beneficial aspects of Bitcoin should be emphasized.

Before bitcoin became famous with the public it became famous first in the underground market. This became the primary currency used to buy and sell drugs. Before web wallets is not common and the primary wallets they are using were desktop wallet and some store their btc inside their usb. One of the primary reason why the black market was into bitcoin is because it is decentralized and the users are anonymous and is untraceable unlike today.

But later as bitcoin increases in value it attracted ordinary citizens and businessman to engage in bitcoin thus a new light on bitcoin usage took place.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Charges $105,000 for Cryptocurrency Promotions on: April 08, 2018, 01:33:52 PM
Founder of the software company McAfee, John McAfee is now promoting cryptocurrency for $105,000 per tweet to his 810,000 direct followers.

I found source info here: https://coinpedia.org/news/john-mcafee-charges-crypto-promotions

This is one reason why I do not like John Mcafee. I remember that one developer of a coin was messaged by John and he told the developer that his coin is good and he is willing to promote his coin in exchange for a large amount of bitcoin plus an enormous amount of the devs coins. The developer leaked those conversation and John was caught. Another thing why I dislike Mcafee is when he promotes a coin the value surges up and then it will crash, possibly it is John who dumped his coins.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (For Newbie) Want to Start Bitcoin Investment? Do these 4 Considerations first on: April 08, 2018, 01:30:50 PM
I do like how you reiterate those important things that newbie as well as experienced but stubborn traders should take note when dealing with bitcoin. Bitcoin is really volatile and we should not believe anyone who said bitcoin will crash or bitcoin will go to the moon instantly since bitcoins value id defined by the market and not by the analysts. Also, I like the last part which can best be described in a saying " do not put all your eggs in one basket"; one common wrong move by traders and newbies is that when they see bitcoin at a low value they will put all their dollars on bitcoin on that value, but after sometime the value of bitcoin drops and they have no dollars left and they are forced to wait for a long time.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most Bitcoin Users From Good Economies Countries? on: April 08, 2018, 01:20:46 PM
There are many countries which have a good economic status but in my analysis you are talking about first world countries. First world countries majority of population have internet access and a large number of population knows how the economy works and most of them are engaging on stocks. This is the reason why first world countries have an advantage over third world countries. In third world countries there are only few bitcoin users since majority of the population are below poverty threshold and their primary concern is survival rather than investment or access to internet.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $50,000 this year?? on: April 08, 2018, 11:35:25 AM
Solid bitcoiners what do you think about this. What would be the possibility that this will happen. https://smartereum.com/2404/bitcoin-price-prediction-2018-can-cryptocurrency-hit-50000-sat-apr-7/

This is a another bitcoin bullish prediction and there are I guess 5 posts in this forum telling the public that bitcoin will go up to 50k$ by the end of this year. The possibility that it will happen is 50/50 since the movement of the market is very unpredictable and it is hard to tell whether it will go up in december and reach that amount or bitcoin will crash in value and will keep on dropping up to December.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's time on: April 08, 2018, 11:31:13 AM
There are no 100% correct predictions and nobody can tell really what will happen this coming days. The Bearish said that this time around bitcoin will fall to 2800$ while the Bullish said that bitcoin will start recovering this coming April 17 since the exchanges have finished selling large amount of btc to pay their taxes. There are two possible decisions that we need to make and for me I am prepared for both.
