...what about charge disputes with the card?

As it was already mentioned, it will be a VISA DEBIT card. Debit cards are almost impossible to chargeback...

Valid point, debit card is not credit card, debit card can't chargeback, but credit card can chargeback.
But debit cards can be credited. They might not call it 'chargeback', but the function does exist. When you cash-out on Circle.com, the funds are credited/sent to the debit cards associated bank account.

I get the feeling that all this thing with the rape accusation was too well orchestrated and not very well substantiated because most if not all of these women were in (pre-agreed) sadomasochistic relations with him.

So why was it done? If my paranoid self had to guess, I'd say the theft was probably government-ordered and this fool was just a convenient patsy. And then they unloaded on him all the rape charges and kept the coins.

Surely you didnt actually mean to publish your weird thought processes?  Roll Eyes

Why broke?   People just wanted to be in the block so paid high TX fees.
Blockchain.info giving wrong info again. Phew!

the biggest flaw with such a gorgeous titanium coin is that while the block and its engravings are fire/water-proof, the hologram and private key are not

has BTCC considered either laser-engraving the private key on the block (might cause security concerns though), or otherwise engraving it on a small titanium disk placed behind the hologram? I can just imagine the heartache if the private key got damaged or illegible
No. It can be read by x-raying it.
530  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: July 09, 2016, 03:31:26 PM
Sure Kraken seems to sometimes be unreliable, however I strongly believe everything will be ok. They always end up fixing their mistakes. That's why I continue to trust Kraken.

I do too. Still waiting for a reply from them.

I perfectly assume losses from wrong trading decisions, but it's a hard pill to swallow to have funds there and loose money when the website refuses work. In my case, I've sustained a massive 35 bitcoin loss while logged in, desperately trying to sell, for more than one hour, but the website simply was non-operational. What bugs me double time, is that trading still continued during all this time.

I'm confident they'll do good by their customers.
Were your issues resolved Ghost? Dont tell me.......now a NDA matter?  Lips sealed

I presented my case and it is still under revision. I am expecting a reply. An NDA would be no problem at all on my behalf of course.
Well, i hope any wrongs are righted. Give us an update if/when you can.

what kind of information do you provide to give bidders trust?
25 BTC is a lot to risk in this scenario so please give me some details and I may bid.

We are making great headway in being recognised in the actual industries we are changing.

Asset Servicing Times is the go-to industry resource for free news, views and opinion on securities services and asset servicing.

We spoke to them a few months ago and they included Nxt in their Tech Handbook.

Turn to page 33 to read all about it: http://assetservicingtimes.com/astimes/AST_Tech_Handbook2016.pdf

Good stuff, gentlemen. Slowly slowly, catchy monkey!

European regulation was mentioned. I strongly advise taking the time to listen to Sian Jones latest interview. Some really positive blockchain stuff there, especially from a UK point of view....

539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Union on: July 02, 2016, 07:06:34 PM
I beliave the European Union is a great thing. Obviously it is not perfect but it is a great step forward a Federal Europe. Europe has a history of war and destruction and the European Union is essencial to stop wars inside its territory.

Actually Europe's attempts at "unity" are the ones that have yielded the ugliest results. Here is an Easter postcard from Vichy-era France in 1942:

It could have been made today, which is what is so disturbing about it.
Wow. Yes.....Norway and Switzerland looking in Europe's direction but standing alone, while UK walks incredulously into the 'Special Relationship' box. That postcard was over 70 years ago.  Shocked Just wow.

Do I have to trust the seller with the private key? If I want to keep this long-term, can I ever trust the 25 bitcoin stays in there?
Yes. Same principle of trusting Mike C, smoothie, etc.

Maybe Bobby should explain the manufacturing process, with regards to security, like Mike did years ago.
