521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 21, 2019, 10:03:58 AM
The main characteristics of successful traders are they are persistent, determined, and passionate on what they are doing. We all know that trading is such a boring thing in making profit. However, it can be changed based on your perspective and your willingness to reconsider it. Once your perspective is positive, you won't get tired of pushing yourself on something you wanted to do which is to trade.
522  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [PDAX] is now live for trading for Philippine users. on: September 20, 2019, 09:45:25 AM
Napakagandang update nito.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy on: September 20, 2019, 07:25:45 AM
How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy? I'm playing on at least 4 sites now and uses a different variation on the martingale and some guessing method and I found out that I have good success implementing a method on one gambling site that is not effective on other gambling sites, how about you?
I'm playing with atleast 3 gambling sites. I tend to gamble in sportbetting, dice games, and other casino games in which no gambling site can offer all of the three games I'm playing at the same time as what I get from the 3 gambling sites that I'm currently using. If there are also new gambling site, I'm open to test it specially if they are offering a reward or affiliation program.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you staking or mining, or both? on: September 20, 2019, 06:10:01 AM
Staking is not reliable in my opinion, because many staking and masternode coins were dumped by unknown holders after it listed on exchange.
I still prefer to choose mining than staking. When the market is green, mining can be profitable than staking.
It depends on which coin you're staking with. Both of them need a capital but they work differently, both of them are more profitable when the market is green; they both also have advantages and disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage of mining is the maintenance and power cost instability. On the other hand, staking's biggest disadvantage is the market instability (riskier than power instability for me) in which you can't control nor predict. Once the market has fallen, it's a hard choice wether you sell to avoid further loss or you will just hold instead, no matter how long it would take in order to recover your losses.
525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to stop taking high risks? on: September 20, 2019, 02:17:11 AM
Hey guys, I noticed that I always seek for high profit and point is that I still trade 25-50-100x. Then I lose deposit and then repeat once again.
Sometimes I gain a lot, like 10x and it gives me positive energy.

But I realise that trading with high leverage is a disaster. How to stop doing that?
Shift to a trading platform which doesn't offer leverage feature. It's not an easy step since you'll find it boring at first since things doesn't work intensely as you're doing before. It's like you're stepping down from the place you've been already taken. On the other hand, nothing is wrong in changing your strategy since every traders has different flaws with regards to their game plan.
526  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Need Eos to activate my account on: September 20, 2019, 12:24:38 AM
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: September 18, 2019, 11:08:14 PM
Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.

In my country gambling doesn't truly affect the reputation of someone. It is mostly a way of entertainment here so it doesn't bother someone's reputation.
If you are a gambler you are a normal people as most of the people gamble, but if you overdo it then of course your reputation is going to be affected.

of course if the gambling that we do is very excessive it can affect your personal reputation because most of the time we have can only be spent on gambling and the community can assess the activities we do as negative activities that are not good to be used as an example that should be emulated
Not if you will keep it private which is very easy if you're only gambling online using cryptocurrencies. I have a friend who has a degree who gambled exessively to the point that he needed to lie to his wife that he lose that much of money. Luckily, she managed to cover it up by borrowing from another friend and now his debt is cleared and their marriage is still intact.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser extensions can steal bitcoin on: September 18, 2019, 05:19:10 AM
I have read an article and experienced by my own friend because installing some extensions in their browser, the extension owner can be used to steal passwords owned by the computer owner, it's better when you have to be careful when you want to install extensions.
Really? it's very dangerous. Third-party applications always ask for access to explore your account. It is very important for us to read the instructions displayed, choose wisely. Things to consider before giving access are: how secure the application or extension is and what account data is requested. Always be careful with your clicks.
It's still best to choose which extensions we should download and install for our browser. There are a lot or things that extentions can do that's why it should be taken seriously. There are times that some users doesn't notice it that's why their wallet should be either encrypted or stored to a cold wallet.
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: September 18, 2019, 01:28:53 AM
i have learn technical analysis and practicing it for many months now i am good at it , but when it comes to day trading stocks move as market moves if markets go up stocks go up and if market falls stocks fall where does technical analysis , how to do day trading

my question is about stocks not crypto
Basically, you must know when does the market opens and when does it closes. Buy as soon as the market opens otherwise you won't be able buy it at its best price for that day. Once you've bought stocks at a great price, put it to sell order afterwards with stop loss otherwise you'll end up losing a lot from your capital.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 17, 2019, 10:30:49 PM
Firstly, we don't really have constant basis in considering wether a person is rich or poor. We can be rich and poor in different aspects and we can also consider ourselves as rich or poor base on our perspective. Lastly, since there is no basis or data regarding to this question, for my opinion most of gamblers are considered rich since they were able to risk their spare money. Poor people doesn't have much time and capability to gamble in order for them to survive but rather they'll work instead (I'm not saying that poor people aren't completely capable to gamble).
531  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: September 17, 2019, 08:21:09 AM
The reality is that not everyone has an acess to the internet and not everyone has knowledge about it. We can't always rely on the internet since it's not always available specially if we're not reachable by the internet service provider. No matter what happen, physical currency is still needed specially by small people who can't or doesn't have a time to connect to the internet.
532  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Raid on Chinese-manned firm exposes cryptocurrency scam on: September 17, 2019, 07:13:21 AM
533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Platforms to trade like 1broker is there any more? on: September 16, 2019, 03:53:19 AM
Hello guys

Do You know any of it?

I know that there is something like Barginex but it's not look professional.

I've used it before, I do forex there and sometimes I can't close/open my open position to a certain market pair which is not good since it can wipe the balance of my account that's why I stopped using it. I'm not against to their platform but I think there are better service offered by another platforms out there.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 15, 2019, 11:08:59 PM
[SNIP]
...hodling might be considered as long process of gambling???
I guess it might be yes. If you are not monitoring the crypto market price then it would be gambling but if you know you can simply sell your holding coins in order to cut your loses. However, this is a case to case basis. If we compared both these holding and gambling, the worst I guess is gambling rather than holding. But when it comes the whole concept and outcome they are both gambling that risk money.
They are indeedly both risking money that's why they have similarities and also differences. To explain the difference in a simpliest way, investing is a boring way of risking your money while gambling is the opposite which is why gambling is fun but more terrible for outcome for every mistake you make than in investing. You could be a millionaire and poor in gambling within a minute while in investing, that's not going to happen since it acquires a lot of time to see the outcome.
535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: September 15, 2019, 11:02:21 AM
Even if most of the replies in this thread says it is profitable if you don't try it, you will never your answer. There is no right and wrong answer if they say it is profitable or its not profitable. It depends on the market situation when you bought your coin. You can't always stick to day trading specially if the price suddenly dropped. You will be forced to switch from day trading to long term holding in some situation to gain profits.
I think it's not good to shift from day trading into long term trading just because you made a mistake. If you're planning to do a day trading, then you should set a risk management such as stop loss otherwise you'll get stuck from the sudden dip of an altcoin you're holding. It's not that bad to accept our mistake and then try again for a better opportunity; that's what it takes in trading.
536  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Viber, WhatsApp, skype, WeChat, Snapchat, IMO, Line not conduct ICO? on: September 15, 2019, 04:10:09 AM
Vber, whatsapp, skype are all social media platform, with an existing customer, and a service product with value, It is not all project/ Idea that  need to conduct ICO,  If there is a need for blockchain/ cryptocurrency development service that can be source for in the near future.
Facebook is a social media platform too but they are considering the initial coin offering for bigger funds. It's indeed helpful as what we have seen to the succession of the Telegram in which they raised more than a billion dollar.  Perhaps the mentioned social media platforms are also considering it but as of now they aren't ready yet.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: September 15, 2019, 01:44:39 AM
I've done investing into several altcoins hoping to gain profit in the long run but I was wrong. I ended up losing until I cut it to prevent further loss. It's not recommended to invest your money into something that you can't manage just like what I do. It's better to focus only to 2-3 altcoins at the same time so you can watch them very well. Cryptocurrency market is much volatile unlike any other market; thus you shouldn't take things so easy but rather take it seriously.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I want to start a business in gambling, which country do I choose? on: September 14, 2019, 10:22:27 PM
I'm recommending my country which is Philippines since gambling and crypto is legal here at the same time. We are also tolerating chinese people here to build their gambling empire here since they aren't capable of doing it in their own land. Nevertheless, you have to go here for the licensing and other paper works since the procedure can't be handled online or via mail.
539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: September 14, 2019, 02:27:53 PM
Savings is must for emergency purpose. Ideally, $1000 savings for a family is enough so that if somrthing happen to a family member (assuming that it's just a minor accident), they are capable of paying the hospital bill. The rest of someone's spare money can be put on investment then for a long term profit purpose. Although it gives profit, it's not very convenient to use it for emergency purpose.
540  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: September 14, 2019, 01:55:29 PM
I don't think it will trigger a boost but it would really offer easier and efficient transactions.

It might make cheaper transactions as long as the other side of the line is using the same technology.

What I am saying is that not all of the country would be using the same technology and it might just be at a country and not all of the countries.
Blockchain technology is beneficial not only for a single country but also for various countries. We can't deny the fact that not every country can adopt it but still, it can boost the economy of every country as a whole. It will also provide more integrity and transparency for every trasnaction since it can't be hidden and everyone can watch it.
