party? where is my beer?  Grin Grin

yes, hash, relayed by, height

those words does not help understand what really is a bitcoin. and where it comes from?
like it was pointed out, ok from block. what block? where you see the blocks? why is a graphic card so important? can a miner (the device used to mine) be used more than once? or is there a limit of coins it can generate?

All newbies buy!

Well would you look at that... 3 blocks so far today...

I pointed some rental toward CK solo but had almost pointed here instead.... I chose poorly...

In the last 14 days someone got 576 btc. So someone is getting paid.

It may not be on time it does happen.

Wonder how many of those coins went to the pools miners??
544  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: March 31, 2015, 01:31:40 AM
I have no other choice but to change pools. Haven't has payout in about a week...

Nobody blames you. I really think that is what they want?
545  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: March 31, 2015, 01:07:17 AM
i hope they start payouts soon..
i want to buy an exhaust fan from newegg for my s5 and im about as much short as they owe me.
i know its not as much as some of you guys, but i understand when you say this pool used to payout on time no matter what, and now its not.

im not giving up tho, i havent really found any better.

 Huh

i always get paid out sooner or later. and no other pool pays out more with the hash i have.. how is that confusing?

Its confusing because I have had mined with this pool since August and the payouts are getting later and later. the queue amount keeps growing and the communication gets worse..... but how can you say this "pool pays out more with the hash" when they are not paying you??

Time since last payment sent: 1 day, 15 hours, 59 minutes, 23 seconds.
We've paid out 0.00000000 Bitcoin to our miners in the past 24 hours.
We've paid out 109.56016907 Bitcoin to our miners in the past 3 days.
We've paid out 335.10233398 Bitcoin to our miners in the past 7 days.
We've paid out 576.04901109 Bitcoin to our miners in the past 14 days.
Our combined oustanding balance in queue to be paid is 167.92136184 Bitcoin.
There are 0 mined blocks waiting to mature, totalling 0 Bitcoin

I'm actually worried about s0br now. But someone had contact with him about an hour ago, and he's still away to return soon and then to start payouts when back.

This happened before and I was worried that something happened to s0br when he went awol for a few days and payments went unpaid.

Also we all know the pool has its own miners and if my memory is right I think Rockminer is one of the pools at 42Th and there are others, we just don't know how much. So I wonder if the pools miners get paid on time? or where in the queue do they stand? Not sure if the pool is renting miners as it once was? but there was a time a lot of coin was being spent on rentals? Its one thing to gamble with your money and something else to be doing it with others. So much of this could be cleared up if the pool would go back to the ideas it was founded on. There should be nothing wrong in asking questions especially when there is still outdated old information that was posted by the pool here.

When do you abandon the ship? when the motor sputters? when the water gets ankle deep or to your waist? maybe at your neck? or just ride it down?

Yes, basically it looks over 100BTC short on payouts, and that's how many coin we figure have queued up in blocks. s0br just needs to start payouts. They are manually started, so no one knows what's going right now, except s0br, which has not been talking on irc at least since that last block matured, according to what I seen.

That is what I hate about using IRC chat as the way to communicate. Its sucks! Look how well the forums works for kano's pool, he post and keeps people up to date on the pool and payments. It does not depend on everyone being on chat at the same time.

552  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: March 26, 2015, 09:53:16 PM
Realy I didn't understand how pool operators make profit ? Smiley

Some don't....

I spend $20,000 a month buying btc to offset the variance not to mention around 200+ BTC I've had to cover from hacks and thefts from the earlier days... Even with our registrations being closed our speed is increasing... which doesn't make things easier for me.

So the pool really does want miners to leave and lower the hash rate on the pool for now,  but lost trust is hard to gain back.
553  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: March 26, 2015, 06:41:48 PM
Not sure but when the pool first started it paid every hour and we asked for it to be extended as a lot were getting very small payments.
The amount due to me is larger than what was paid a couple days ago from the older difficulty.
Well, you would get ridiculously small payments.  One would expect to find a difficulty 1 share after 2^32 attempts.  That means a 1TH/s miner would expect to find 232.83 a second.  Let's say for the sake of argument that I set my difficulty to be 232.83, so I'm expecting to submit 1 share per second to the pool.  That's 3600 shares in an hour.  3600 * 232.83 * 0.00000000053513 = 0.000448534BTC.  So, 24 of those tiny payments a day.  How about the guy with an S3?  0.00019736BTC an hour.  An S1?  0.00008074BTC an hour.

Basically, if you've got anything less than an S3, you're likely going to end up spending more in fees trying to send your coin somewhere than you're getting from mining in the first place.  Obviously, the longer you set your payout threshold, the more BTC you're going to get per payout.

That's why I don't understand why any typical miner would bother to setup payouts at anything less than 24 hours.  Sure, if you're pushing hundreds of TH/s, you might accept more payouts per day, but pushing that kind of hash rate is not a "typical" miner Smiley

I have 3.7TH/s and only had mine set low so I could keep a eye on payouts and tried to get a heads up if there was a problem so I could move them if needed. I finally settled on a 12 hour payout but would have vary happy with 24hours if you could count on it.

Also just to clear when the pool started PPS everyone got paid every hour no matter how much hash you had. It was ridicules but I think it was a way for s0br to check his automatic payouts without risking to much coin if it screwed up. We asked him to extend the time between payout which he did, but now we have the opposite problem..  Cheesy

It's been a week since I was last paid.

Current Time   2015-03-26 12:09:58
Last Payout Time   2015-03-17 21:03:27
Last Payout Avg Hashrate   27.79 GH/s
Pending Shares   1,025,770
Pending Payout   0.00054892
-- Bonus (1%)   0.00000548
-- Previous Difficulty   0.76298011

I would not be happy, but if you say to much you will be asked to leave.  Lips sealed

It looks like you must have moved your miners and I don't blame you.

Phil you may not get paid for a while...

Our combined oustanding balance in queue to be paid is 172.10877041 Bitcoin.
There are 2 mined blocks waiting to mature, totalling 50 Bitcoin
And that's precisely the point.  A true PPS pool pays out for your submitted shares at the point in time where you request a payout, assuming of course your payout is above the pool's minimum threshold.

What BAN is doing is paying a backlog.  Using funds from mined blocks to payout some users some amount of owed shares is not PPS.

Phil - I can only assume you were able to rent that 100TH/s at a cost less than what you'd expect to earn, otherwise why would you ever point it to a PPS pool?  If you were indeed able to find that kind of deal, congrats Smiley

Phil is pretty smart and can only think he is testing something either with the rentals or the pool?

just catching up on the thread, i got paid the other day for current difficulty payments, but also have a balance from the old ones pending. I checked and registration is closed today to the pool for new miners. But this popped up on my alerts, I'm not sure if it's been posted already - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=104664.msg10877674#msg10877674

I am not sure why my pending at the old difficulty got paid but my newer ones have not been paid yet? I am at 90+ hours? Is there a min amount now for a payout to happen?
There's got to be a threshold, otherwise the pool would be pushing dust and the payouts would likely never confirm.  I can't find any such threshold listed, however.

What happens if I were to submit a single share to the pool?  A single share has a value of 0.00000000053513BTC.  BTC cannot be distributed in that amount as you can only have 8 decimal places.  How about if I submit 100 shares?  Would the pool attempt to send me 5 satoshi?

Not sure but when the pool first started it paid every hour and we asked for it to be extended as a lot were getting very small payments.
The amount due to me is larger than what was paid a couple days ago from the older difficulty.

Yeah... that deleted thread was quite the hot topic around here for a while... man people were so freaking butthurt over that S3 giveaway.  All kinds of claims about fake photos, fake winners, fake shipping labels... it was like watching a train wreck... people were just hammering each other.  Of course, you had the crazy antics of fire000 mixed in there - that guy's rantings were pretty classic.  Completely unintelligible ravings full of venom and spewing nonsense to anybody and everybody.

Anyway, since this thread is supposed to offer zero proof (says so right in the thread title), we should probably cease our efforts at actually digging up such things Tongue

Hummm... I guess my post up a couple may be off topic then?  I do hope fire000 still does not have that attorney working the case or that will be one large bill!!  Roll Eyes
HAHAHA!!! I forgot about that attorney he claimed to have working for him.  Oh man, maybe THAT's where the BTC from BAN are actually going... paying attorney's fees!

See - that's the kind of zero proof stuff we need in here... totally baseless and right on topic Smiley

Maybe I can get fire000 to give me that attorneys name so I can hire him to get the last of my payments from BAN unless he is to busy with the ....Really? case still.  Tongue
