Is there a CHA block explorer?
none CHA block explorer.

How can I move my CHA from a BTC address to an exchange?

Any way to do this?

MobyDick_Poloniex cleared this up for me just like magic.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I send coins without updating the blockchain? on: June 20, 2015, 09:18:05 PM
Why is it a safety issue?  Will my coins transfer if I open the wallet, send, and close the wallet without letting the blockchain finish downloading?
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can I send coins without updating the blockchain? on: June 20, 2015, 11:14:14 AM
I'm on a metered and expensive internet connection right now.  I'd like to send some Namecoin from my desktop wallet but I don't want to pay to download the latest additions to the blockchain.  I'm probably a couple months behind.  Can I somehow send without updating the blockchain?  The Namecoin wallet is just based on bitcoin-qt.

Is anyone else getting completely dicked around and screwed over by a Poloniex verification guy with a vendetta and no other purpose in life?

No, I believe to poloniex they trusted. And about verification is no problem, you can verify just fill your full name, although your transaction is limited.

They are requiring me to verify to Level 2 with my physical address before I can make any withdrawals.

I'm pretty impressed that BTCD and UNITY haven't dumped since their recent big rises on no news.

My withdrawals are still frozen while I wait for a verification letter to arrive in the mail.  I'm told it takes 7-10 business days.

Do that require me to run a full bitcoin node?

I'm not sure actually as I think I saw an update from jahpower or the dev team on using federated nodes to run light counterpartyd instead of connecting to your own bitcoind. Anyone ever tries Counterparty outside counterwallet without running bitcoind ?

I would also like to know if this has been done.

Maybe you should change your attitude towards the support team? you were probably rude and and got this in return..

Absolutely not.  In fact I was a huge Poloniex fan even after their recent abrupt policy change.  But you might want to ask yourself if you would be comfortable trusting a company with your most personal information if they require extra personal information when you're rude.

PM me your login or open a support ticket and PM me the ticket number.  I'd be happy to look into why your verification required any extra steps.

Thank you, I will gladly take you up on that if this gets any more extreme.

Can anyone verify that MobyDick_Poloniex is indeed from Poloniex?
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anybody else getting screwed by Poloniex? on: June 16, 2015, 12:20:45 PM
Poloniex doesn't sell Bitcoin though.  At least not for fiat.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anybody else getting screwed by Poloniex? on: June 16, 2015, 10:23:08 AM
I was fine with it until I was made to jump through 100 hoops to verify my address.

EDIT: Problem solved thanks to MobyDick_Poloniex.

556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SWARM] Swarm - Cryptoequity Crowdfunding - Official Thread on: June 15, 2015, 05:31:53 AM
I'm expecting this to be fully automated within the next week so that every time anyone issues assets there will be an automatic distribution. This may happen when the asset is created or when someone clicks the "start crowdfund" option our interface.

Any update on this?

BTW, what are your favorite Swarm projects currently?  Vevue looks interesting.

What I last heard is that the team gathered in Palo Alto and that some of them are working 18H a day to build the thing. A lot of programming needs to be done. I like Vevue indeed. Nice people as well, trying to do things right, working a lot of hours on their project for a very long time now. I really can't wait to see the projects go live   Cheesy

How is it going with this?

Has anyone used the Counterparty GUI?  Is it safe?

https://github.com/CounterpartyXCP/counterparty-gui

If I want to move a small amount of XCP out of my stash, is there any way to do so besides using the GUI or sweeping the entire thing into Counterwallet and sending the amount I don't want to move back to from where it came?
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: June 14, 2015, 09:23:10 AM
I still think we're confusing terms.  It sounds like some people are concerned that Symbiont won't be using Counterparty exclusively and others are concerned that Symbiont will be using Counterparty without XCP.  I believe the former is true and that's fine.  We already know they're using Ripple for sure.  I think the odds that Symbiont would use Counterparty without XCP are zero.  They're the original Counterparty devs so they obviously believe in the utility of the currency unit.

No one should be running a system that is susceptible to a published security vulnerability if they can help it.  That's common sense.

Common sense doesn't exist.

I guess that's how we pitched Overstock.
