541  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: November 04, 2019, 08:47:53 PM
Now, the question: why it takes THAT long the smaller banks to go the same way and start using the blockchain?
For any company or banks to implement a new technology you need to have a thorough understanding of the system and you cannot implement all the all of a sudden and majority of the technology companies are learning about the opportunities of blockchain for a long time and if the banking sector find it useful for their business then they will implement it.

Of course blockchain will be helpful to banks even growing banks that are not established already. It will help them to secure data and security information that are already stored in their system. Blockchain technology is already being used in certain places and banks shouldn't be an exception.

Hello everyone,
How would you like an application that makes you earn with creating good quality content such as writing articles, creating fun memes?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

It is simply an easy way for someone who is talented in that area to make money. It looks simply though but if you don't have it, you don't have it. It might look that way that everyone can think oh... easy to but, I say it isn't easy. For people who have it, enjoy it.
543  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Fighting unemployment by monetizing your passion. on: November 03, 2019, 04:48:20 PM
Apart from the employment angle which op has really done justice to, doing a job that you have passion for will even relief someone from anger, feeling stressed (where you have not been stressed just because there is no passion). It can create an atmosphere of joy and your body will relax more, your health too and you look younger than your age because it is all fun for you. Imagine being paid heavily for what you would have also lobed to do freely. For example, some footballers get paid heavily and playing football naturally is their passion. Some people naturally make people to laugh because of the comic talent they have and they get paid for it as comedians and mcs. However, identifying our passion and turning it to money by being employed to catch your fun and get paid at same time is a wonderful feeling.
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie Trading Question? on: October 28, 2019, 09:18:15 PM
Op I say to you, stick to your working plan, use your alarm to monitor your trade. Following whale order might not work for you.

or sell when I'm really 100% confident.

100% confidence isn't true in trading. As far as trading is concern, you can't be too sure even when it is glaring which is the reason stop loss is there.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and scammers on: October 28, 2019, 05:11:44 PM
If I dont write about myself, I am a scammer (thinked users of bitcointalk). If I write - Im will a convict. What to do?

I tell you what to do here. I see you are a junior member, then you try to build your account to at least senior member. At this level, you know if you are genuine, you can get people to believe you here and you can introduce what you have, although amidst skepticism.
546  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Unregulated market is illegal or legal? on: October 28, 2019, 04:31:17 PM
But i think crypto doesn't fit into stocks sector. What are your oppinions?

If I can rest on your topic about unregulated market being illegal, depending on the jurisdiction; if a country has not declared a thing, practice as illegal then it can not be said to be illegal. The point is, if people are indulging in it, they can't claim compensation, demages or restitution if they are injured nor scammed. So, to their own peril they indulge.
547  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why has not any government stopped Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2019, 03:30:56 PM
They couldn't do that because it will become an effort in futility. The first reason that can't be done is because it isn't under their control. Bitcoin is separated from third party interference and government is a third party. It is individual base currency, that is, it is not monitored.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Bring change into Africa? on: October 28, 2019, 12:43:13 PM
Now that the world is changing and  blockchain is bring back  decentralization to the world would Africa get  their  power back?

Just like any other country that is doing well today, corruption has been a very big challenge to economic growth. People in power misuse money meant for projects that will develop the country. So if this can stop or a stronger penalty backed with political willingness to execute the penalty, then Africa will be better for it.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: October 28, 2019, 12:08:36 PM
but what about developed nations?

Two things about developed nations. One is that it will make their lives more comfortable because it will bring them to another choice of payment and financial transaction.
For the second, it will do same thing it will do to underdeveloped nations too despite that they perhaps have stable and growing economy, the people who have more bitcoin will be richer than those who are thriving in fiat. As we know, the value of bitcoin is greater than any single fiat.
550  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Does anyone own the rights to the bitcoin logo on: October 26, 2019, 09:08:58 PM
Can I use logo bitcoin freely? I am also still thinking about it.

This question would have been responded to for you to get a yes Ir no answer if it were altcoins because they have people who claim ownership to them. Thus, I think that is the difference with bitcoin as ownership is not identified and so it properties are strictly for the public.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we looking at Bitcoin down to $5K? on: October 26, 2019, 08:28:46 PM

For the rest of those not holding bitcoin it is better to wait and see if they can see an indication this is something more than manipulation or if this is a change of the bearish trend we have seen during the last weeks.

The price at this moment is at $9,024. The bearish of last week has become bull this weekend. This is a wooping close to $2,000 difference buying in last week. Maybe we are just seeing the beginning of volatility.
552  Other / Serious discussion / Re: We're not cutting co2 emissions any time soon on: October 24, 2019, 06:39:25 PM

I know of two girls in the same place I work that drive trucks while not doing anything that needs a truck. One of them wants to get an even bigger truck. Like a huge one. I thinks something like a ram 2500.

Apart from bush cutting and burning trucks are more in the pollution of the environment. The solution for me is creating laws that will limit so many people who don't have business with driving certain cars, trucks that emits so much carbon from plying the road , like in the case of the quote.
553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020? on: October 24, 2019, 05:22:43 PM
One reason is that more and more people are familiar with crypto and the digital world. Thanks. Cool

Part of the reason though but I think the halving is what I'm thinking will be responsible for that. Again, since after the ATH, bitcoin has not had a good ride. Just maybe it could be the year for another high.
554  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Thou shall not steal on: October 21, 2019, 08:41:25 PM

Quote
If you look carefully, religions make sure that the poor stay poor.

Care to explain how? An example would be great...

I would say is quite obvious... one of the main ideas behind most is that there is a God, ergo if someone is rich is God´s will and should not be challenged. But I think it does not really require much explanation... religion is used to justify the social order since thousands of years ago.

This is why Karl Max opined that religion is the opium of the masses. It makes the people feel lackadaisical about the affairs of governance and decisions that could better their lives, community and society.
They leave so much to the clergy to decide for them which at many times could be selfish outcome and not for the general good. The masses are so blind to certain reality because of religion.
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm officially sick of the bitcoin price right now... on: October 21, 2019, 06:45:29 PM

On Dec 17th, it reached its high of $20k, and it has taken almost a month and we're still below those numbers.  What is your estimate for when we can be above $20k again and onward to what people predict for this year ($50k-$100k)?  Another month?  March?

I expect that to happen next year. Another surge that will push to a new ATH high is possible to happen but not in this year. The halving and more adoption will happen soon because in 2017, not good numbers of people knew bitcoin but now is all over the media and social gatherings.
556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now Bitcoin today on: October 21, 2019, 08:13:45 AM
But I still would like to wait for the trend confirmation before jumping in to take any position.

As for my own view too. my position is same thing, to wait maybe till next year so not to be trapped. The price over a month has been sideways and ranging. It can either way, as I'm looking at the $8,500 to be broken before the end of the year.
557  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be rich..! on: October 21, 2019, 07:13:36 AM
If you lived around a third world country, so definitely working 8 hours a day will not be sufficient to get your rich because I'm sure with the high cost of living all your salary will be just be going to your bills.

It is not only the third world countries but all over, people who rely only on white collar jobs are usually not rich. The ones that are better paid are just average or middle class level. Rich people don't rely on only working for people but they are mostly working for themselves and not only on one stream of income.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do economic indicators favour Bitcoin ? on: October 20, 2019, 06:48:44 PM

What does this all mean for Bitcoin ?

I discuss here : https://youtu.be/UPyo0n51qJA

I think that if the economic indicator goes against fiat, then it is likely to favour bitcoin. For example, if for instance war times do make a country lose value in their currency because production won't continue and export that can generate foreign exchange will be reduced or not present at all and standard of living will fall. So this will affect the country's currency. In this kind of situation, it is expected that bitcoin will become the safe house to hide your money. So the price is most possible to increase.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the World and Community on: October 19, 2019, 04:11:47 PM
Do we have world peace? Can we help poor people using bitcoin? Can we help poor communities using bitcoin.? I'm searching for much higher cause of cryptocurrency than just medium

Bitcoin has nothing with world peace and it is not a solution to world problems. The issues of the world have been there before the innovation of bitcoin. From north to Asia , to America, Europe all over, bitcoin was not part of the problems bedevilling these continents.
Yes, it can help the poor if invested in. If you manage to buy bitcoin and keep in a secured wallet for some long time, you can be lucky to see a tremendous increase on the long time
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 04:32:41 AM
Nice research and I agree with that although we can find more of such countries. Electricity and enabling environment/government is key in the support for cryptocurrency.
