Not one of Obamas policies has created any jobs, and his "stimulus money" has all been funneled to his friends/donors.

His continual asking for money is showing what his real goal is, to bankrupt the US.
542  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a site like ebay that accepts bitcoins? on: July 14, 2014, 12:40:57 PM
I have used cryptothrift and I can recommend it. The built in escrow is useful. I wonder how long it is before we can spend our coins directly on ebay though. That would be huge news.

Cryptothrift, Coingig
Shame that bitmit shut down, kind of actually liked it

Coingig was also shutdown at the beginning of this year I think.

Yes it did, without much explanation either.  With that said I used it a bunch of times and liked using it.

Cryptothrift is a good alternative, but desperately needs some site layout improvement.

545  Economy / Auctions / Re: ►฿ ►฿ ►฿ [[FAST AUCTION]] for FORTY 1 LTC LEALANA Brass Coins!! on: July 11, 2014, 11:58:53 AM
Bitcoin is the only accepted form of payment for this auction.

So I can just send you the BTC equivalent of the 40 LTC and have them funded that way?
546  Economy / Services / Re: Cloudbet Signature Campaign – up to 0.12 BTC per month for 50 posts on: July 10, 2014, 08:38:50 PM
OP says minimum of 500 posts?  But I'm seeing other Senior Members signed up with less?  If I am eligible I will switch my sig over.  Please let me know!
547  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 24 Hour Sale - $1000 in Starbucks for $350 (10 x $100) Cards on: July 10, 2014, 08:33:34 PM
r these stolen? i mean i don't care. i just find it interesting you can take a 65% loss. that's awesome for the buyers. Smiley

no they are not

You dont have to give away your secret to obtaining such a good deal on these, but I am just wondering if you are buying these? Winning these?  Doing surveys?  Do you own Starbucks Huh
548  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 24 Hour Sale - $1000 in Starbucks for $350 (10 x $100) Cards on: July 10, 2014, 05:58:44 PM
Its more important on how these cards were acquired, so you should explain.

Um no I shouldn't to reveal my method but they were obtained legally if that's what you are asking. Check my record my first starbucks card was sold on here almost a month ago. Escrow was never needed and no one has reported any problems. I'm legit and that's all anyone needs to know. If you don't want to buy that's your choice and your right.

"I'm legit and that's all anyone needs to know."

Your words are giving me great confidence in you.  Again, I don't see why you are willing to take $400 less per $1000 of cards just to avoid eBay, when you yourself claim these are "perfect for eBay"

Wow, I guess your just a very generous guy
550  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 24 Hour Sale - $1000 in Starbucks for $350 (10 x $100) Cards on: July 10, 2014, 03:24:07 PM
Hi this is going to be a flash sale and a big favor as a thank you to all my customers and all the starbucks that I have sold on this forum. I am only offering this price for 24 hours starting from the moment this is posted.

I am offering $1000 in Starbucks for $350 BTC.

This deal is perfect for resellers and ebay sellers. I recommend that you have your own cards that I can just transfer the funds to but If not I will provide the cards.

For those of you who have no idea what I do on this forum check my threads of where I have been selling Starbucks Gift Cards on here

I did this same deal of 10 Starbucks Cards with @MooreRocco even though he is a newbie the deal went well and he was happy. I am online majority of the day message me if you
need me I am around.

Thanks

Just out of curiosity, if these are "perfect for resellers and ebay sellers" then why arent you selling them on eBay where it looks like you can get closer to 75-85% of face value?

Because I sell on here for BTC. I don't want paypal and I can't sell egift cards on ebay

But, as you stated these are "perfect for ebay sellers."  You could load these onto physical gift cards and then sell them on ebay.  Just curious why you are willing to take 40% less than their potential!

552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes Article Predicts Bitcoin Value will "Explode" on: July 10, 2014, 01:49:34 PM
All BTC value game is based on expectations.

I'd have to say the expectations of merchant acceptance are being met.  Also hundreds of millions of dollars by very smart investors have been put into the bitcoin infrastructure.  Yes the expectations are high, but I'd say they are being met.
I would agree - are being met by now. But it is a speculative asset with the very limited connection to the real economy. And therefore the "explosion" could be more likely to the explosion of the bubble.

With all the millions being poured into the BTC infrastructure, I'd say it's gained a legitimate spot in the "real economy."   As for any alt-coins, I would say they have no connection to the real economy, at least not right now
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Islamic State Really Using Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2014, 01:46:49 PM
Speculation passes for hard news these days and weak hands buy right into it. Frankly is doesn't make a lot of sense for a terrorist organization to use bit coin. They would have to convert it to bit coin in order to buy most things and that exposes them to detection. They can use fiat currency pretty anonymously so why even bother with bit coin?

Exactly.  Thats really more or less all this is, but its presented as cold hard facts.  Just like the supposed gas attacks in Syria this past fall which the US govt along with the media presented as FACT, when other investigations showed evidence that was contrary to what the US govt was saying.  Yet did they retract their staements and let people know their info may be wrong?  No.  All that matters is that they blast the news to as many people as possible.

Thats what they are doing with anti-bitcoin propaganda.  As long as most people see the "bad" news, thats all they care about, whether its factual or not.

bump, need to sell soon, will take $530 shipped.  cheapest I can find on eBay is $555.
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Islamic State Really Using Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2014, 01:04:21 PM
By the way the media is repeating this supposed call by ISIS to use btc, I'd say its suspicious.  They have had no problem operating thus far without BTC so to me it seems like a way to demonize BTC as it begins to gain acceptance.  The media picks and chooses which stories to blow up, and this is definitely one they picked for a reason to spread everywhere.

557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Auction winner Tim draper says "Investors should have btc in their portfolio" on: July 10, 2014, 10:56:53 AM
This is huge. Honestly even if "wall street" never buys into btc, if your average middle class investor puts some money in to btc that would be enough to fuel growth.
558  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BEAUTIFUL Titan 1 oz. 999 fine Gold - 1 BTC coins are here on: July 10, 2014, 01:14:45 AM
OK...I think I'm close to being able to buy one of these.  I'm positive that these will be worth a ton in the future.

Is there anyway I can pay in two installments to lock in a low serial number?  Do you have any for sale that have been graded by PCGS?

PM me here or email me at Tim@titanbtc.com and we'll work with you.  We will have some ANACS graded coins (either MS69 or MS70) available in a couple weeks.

Any idea on the price for those?  I may hold off and go for one of those.  And will they be numbered in the first 100?
559  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Original Casascius Physical 1BTC 1oz .999 Silver Rounds (1st Batch!) on: July 09, 2014, 05:31:38 PM
You need to meet the market! Graded versions of the same coin sold for less than 2BTC last week.

The open auctions on eBay right now aren't competition for you, the coins that remain are ungraded and look really beaten up. Obviously you have good quality coins here.

Agreed, I'd be interested but not at 2.3BTC.  I see MS65 coins going for sub 2BTC on eBay in just the last few days
