I think that makes things to complicated. I'm just saying if someone is getting free money they shouldn't mind jumping through a hoop or two to get it. If you don't put up the hoop, though, they will just take the money and go back to business as usual.
I agree with you, hxtop -- by default people gonna have to jump through that hoop and learn to accept bitcoin. I like this myself, however it is my personal opinion. By providing an option in the settings, I allow other tippers to decide how their money should be handled. Yes thats me, I already have it under control, shes going to claim the jar once she gets a chance to sit down in front of a computer. What options will you offer her to get the funds into cash ? How does that side of it work ? |

It's too bad LilithFair isn't still a big festival/tour like it used to be, otherwise, she would be 'in like Flynn'....
She needs to make a 'Sarah Mclaughlin' or 'Jan Arden' type of contact in the industry to get the ball rollin' for her.
I have seen far worse than her, get much further along in their careers....if only due to 'contacts'..

Agreed, I think she already has some big names looking at her, but a blatant star like you said would send her to the top so fast her head would spin.. Its not everyday you see someone about explode into the mainstream media, which already is occurring locally. For her, it truly only takes seeing one show of her live for anyone, males/females equally to get hooked.. Dont forget she has a great backing band, her boys are great talents in their own rights too.. But of course, shes the show stealer  |

Egads... who would want to attempt to speculate on a market that barely moves from 5 per BTC
with bitcoinica costs being so high to get in and out plus the costs of holding a position?
I gave up on it. Withdrew my money a month or so ago and have been just selling my BTC from
mining when the price is over 5.
I am much happier for it. Now combine that with the hacking of bitcoinica through admin incompetence,
it appears to have been the correct call. Now my money is not tied up in a situation like that.

100% is 100% of the price exactly one year ago. Everything in green represents times when the price was some amount greater than it was exactly one year past. The price is now lower today than it was exactly one year ago, and what this chart will come to show in the coming months is more and more red because in 2011 around this time and onward from here the price shot up and stayed above $10 for a few months. It's very doubtful the price will recover to those levels this year and so we probably won't see this chart back in the green again until November, when the price a year past was in the $2s. Ahhhhhh thanks proudhon.. This isnt so important sounding now.. as we approach the spike of 30 dollars last june (or whenever it was) I guess this will continue.. perfect explanation, thanks |
