Nice and PSG winning to night is further going to increase the point difference between this two teams on the league table this season, PSG will now be five points ahead of Nice, I think it will be very difficult for Nice to be able to get back to the top of the table again any time soon because PSG continually maintain the point difference between them.
PSG appeared more superior in today's game and their dominance has been seen in a greater part of the game, they did had no goals in the first half and it did looked like they were going to draw this game but in the second half, they have been able to lead by three goals and definitely going to get three points by the end of the game today because the second half is almost coming to an end with a 3-1 score line, this has made PSG top position on the table firm for the time been and Nice trying really hard to get back to the top.
PSG victory in Parc des Princes when they faced Metz today is not a surprise, especially with Mbappe scoring two goals. Metz isn't doing good in Ligue 1 and that was their fourth successive defeats. Now Nice won too at home against Lens by two goals, which is a good score comparing how much Lens improved comparing to the beginning of the season. When comparing PSG with Nice, the difference is clear. The goals scored by PSG are twice more than what Nice scored. In fact the number of goals scored by Nice are less than the other top 7 teams.. I am pretty much satisfied with Lyon progression these days with another victory today vs Nantes. That's the third victory in a row and they are still out of the relegation zone which is psychologically relieving for the whole team and their fans. |

This season, Bayern Leverkusen is far better than Bochum, I am expecting a straight win for them because since they are in a title race against Bayern Munich and probably Stuttgart and Dortmund; I know they will not lose any chance of winning any match that come their way.
Although, Bochum won the last match between them and Leverkusen, but this season, it will not be possible because unlike last season, Leverkusen is aiming the to win the Bundesliga title this season.
It has been another superb performance from Bayern Leverkusen. They have been dominant from the start of the game and the game ended with 4:0. They have really impressed very well again tonight. Congratulations to them another step closer to the league tittle. It is Bayer and not Bayern. Indeed Leverkusen are knocking their opponents easily and by a big score this season. They have the best defence and one of the best attack line along with Bayern Munich. Their only problems is the narrow gap between them and Bayern Munich by one goal if we assume that Bayern Munich will win against Union Berlin in the missed game. In this round, Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund wasted two points and Stuttgart returned to the third spot. In the other hand, Union Berlin were able win and get some distance from the relegation zone. The way West Ham United have been playing there is more than a slim chance that they could manage an upset at Anfield but the way Liverpool are playing it seems difficult. For West Ham to win, they would have to be playing at their best while Liverpool would have to make a series of disastrous errors. It could in a hard fought 2-1 home win.
Liverpool 1 - 0 West Ham United in the first half. West Ham United didn't impress at all in this first half, basically no control of the ball, no serious attempts to not say no attempts at all. They are already one goal down against Liverpool which was dominating in this first half. Liverpool are better, winning most of the time against West Ham United and today it seems that the result will not be different. I don't know if West Ham United will play seriously in the second half but their best chance might be to pick a goal to get the draw and drive Liverpool to play with them penalties, then everyone will try their luck. |

Everton's performance during this season was well enough but didn't you know Everton's owners are not in a good situation and this team is not in a good situation. There is even a chance for Everton to get relegated in this season because of that. I think if they really care about Everton, they should find a new owner and chairman for this team before it gets too late.
If Everton could keep up with the others teams like they did against Fulham tonight in EFL Cup. They were one goal behind then managed to get the draw and goes to penalties up to 7 tries before the defeat. At least they tried their best. Everton had been in difficulty in the last two seasons and continues with that rhythm this season until they invest cleverly to improve the team.
In the other matches of EFL Cup, Newcastle were leading the whole time by one goal until extra time Chelsea scored and penalties were in favour of Chelsea! A very bad ending for Newcastle in that competition. I expect them to invest in this winter transfer window to improve the squad and their results. |

Today's games were kind of tricky to predict. I didn't know what team or options to bet on,
I agree that the combination of fluctuating teams make it very hard to predict the winner in this avoid to bet on matches if we can say that. The only exception might be Atletico Madrid since it is way favourite than Getafe and the hardest to predict is Rayo Vallecano match against Valencia because the two teams are close to each others, yet Rayo Vallecano lost with one goal in their home.
Fortunately for Sevilla, they're not going to have any problems today from Granada. Sevilla is 2- nil up in the first half and except a very funny drama happens in the second half, 3 points is sure for Sevilla. I wish I had taken the risk to bet on Sevilla.
Granada continues to have a very bad performance that started already from the previous season at least and apparently this time they will not escape the relegation for real. Sevilla which is fluctuating and barely winning, are already 3 points ahead of them after 50 minutes from the start of the game.. In other news, Atletico seem to understand the assignment. I played them to win and they're winning. Although things might get tricky in the second half because Savic has received a second yellow card and he's out of the game.
Knowing Atletico Madrid, they would go into full defense mode in the second half. I'm hopeful because the goal came after the red card, meaning they can still score even if they're a man down .

Today Manchester City will be playing in the FIFA Club World Cup against Urawa Reds from Japan and yes, I am curious whether Manchester City will be playing their main squad or just playing their second tier players. But, if I consider Mancester City's schedule, then it doesn't seem right if Manchester City only plays second-tier players because after all, Manchester City will also return to playing in the Premier League on the 29th against Everton.

The Quarter-final games will start soon with three matches that will be played today and one tomorrow.
First match is between Everton and Fulham in Goodison Park which is the advantage that Everton have. Additionally they have a good record in their latest games at the opposite of the beginning, yet I find Fulham a little bit better at the opposite of bookies where Everton are favourite in this match with 1.8 vs 3.8 for Fulham.
In the second match we have two random teams and it appears that Middlesbrough will win this game. Then there is the best match where Newcastle will face Chelsea in Stamford Bridge. I know that both teams are lagging in English Premier League but the odds difference is quite big with Chelsea @1.7 and Newcastle @4.3. Even though Chelsea is the host, Newcastle aren't that weak!
The last game will be played tomorrow with Liverpool favourite at home against West Ham United thought.

It is very sad to see Brazil's current performance. I see them relying heavily on Neymar for their game tactics. In the past, Brazil was very strong in all lines, even their defenders could have the qualities of a striker. In the past, every line was able to score goals and it didn't matter if one or two people were injured because they were still able to show their best performance. I still remember watching Brazil in the 2002 and 2006 World Cups where they performed very well and didn't just rely on one or two players as is happening now.
I am not sure whether there is any decline in the performance of the Brazilian national team. During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, a number of players performed really well, such as Vinícius Júnior, Richarlison and Casemiro. But the other teams have caught up with them. Brazil no longer dominates world football. At this point they are ranked #3 by FIFA, behind Argentina and France. And there is not much gap between fourth placed Belgium and Brazil. England may also overtake them in the future. The Brazilian team nowadays dropped a lot in performance unfortunately at a point they were classed sixth in the ranking in CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers out of 10 teams in total. At the last four games they collected only one point. You can imagine three successive defeats against medium teams a part from Argentina that are playing with them in that competition. You can imagine how bad their results will be if they were playing against European teams. There is rumours about Ancelotti moving soon to train the Brazilian team. I think they should push for this to avoid seeing them playing bad in the future or even risking to be kicked from FIFA World Cup 2026 although this is hard to think about and unlikely to happen in my opinion. |

It's not a surprise that Atalanta won Salernitana. I ready know the game will be an easy game for Atalanta. The game ended up in 4-1 in favour of Atlanta. Eventhough it was Salernitana that first scored and won the first half, but Atalanta came from behind and later won the match.
Since when Salernitana are considered as a threat.. They have the worst record comparing to all Serie A teams. I don't know how they managed to win vs Lazio this season but it was the only occasion they got 3 points and it is hard to see them rising from the relegation zone when their schedule contains AC Milan, Juventus, Napoli, except the Verona match between them where they can collect a point thought. For a good team like Atalanta, victory is obvious and the fast first goal of Salernitana against them made them more serious in that match. At the end, four goals were scored by Atalanta with 5-6 minutes between the first two goals and between the third and fourth goal. |

Girona performance are incredible this season blowing all minds waiting for it to lose or drop points any time! Yet they continue to not only win but also score big. This time Girona knocked Alaves with 3 - 0. Girona dominated the match, were more efficient in the attack line with 3 goals out of 4 shots in the target among a total of 9 attempts while Alaves shots weren't accurate at all. Girona will not lose a game this month
Girona returned to the first spot again with two points difference from Real Madrid and 9 points from Barcelona. Their next matches will be against Real Betis and Atletico Madrid which will not be an easy task to not drop points in one of it. Would you say that Alkmaar can compete with PSV this season? I think no one can beat PSV this season and almost 100% they will win the Eredivise league this season. Maybe now we can talk about places 2, 3 and 4. Ajax's draw in the last match means they are now 8 points behind Alkmaar in fourth place. One place in the Champions League has definitely belonged to PSV. We just have to talk about 1 more place that will be contested by Feyenoord, Twente and AZ Alkmaar.
I am not following Eredivisie so closely and I am impressed with PSV Eindhoven performance. They didn't miss any points after 16 rounds, they received as low as 6 goals and scored 56! Their last game was against AZ Alkmaar, which is among the top teams, yet they destroyed them with 4 goals to nothing! It is rare to see such good record even in lower leagues with a classically dominant team. The only negative point is that their performance didn't follow in UEFA Champions League although they were able to qualify second. With 10 points difference from Feyenoord and way more from the other teams and since almost half of the season was played, I am pretty sure they will win the league before many rounds. What left to know is which team will join them in UEFA Champions League next season, and whether Ajax Amsterdam will pick a European competition spot or not. |

I think if they got knocked out in the Champions League because they were in so much pressure how much time do you think they have in the Europa League before they will be knocked out too because they will encounter more pressure in the Europa League than they had in the champions League. UEFA Champions League requires an experienced team to qualify the group stage and to advance in each step. It is rarely an unexperienced team could do such thing. Maybe the exception was with Porto and Mourinho but that was a high level of management and tactics at that time. In the end, both Bayern Munich and Leverkusen were able to win against their opponents, who incidentally were top clubs in the Bundesliga, with quite satisfying goals, namely 3 - 0. In fact, both Frankfurt and Stuttgart had tried optimally to block attacks from the opposing team. However, when they won, this time Bayern and Leverkusen were really able to work more efficiently and optimally. Bayern Munich were ready for this match against Stuttgart at the opposite of their shameful game against Frankfurt in the previous round, while Stuttgart weren't able to get even a draw vs Bayern Munich like they did against Bayer Leverkusen previously. Same goes for Frankfurt, they were able to beat Bayern Munich by 5 goals and failed to grab even a point from Bayer Leverkusen. Worst Leverkusen scored 3 goals in their goal without receiving any. Both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen were ready for these games. In this round, Leipzig, Freiburg and Wolfsburg profited the most from the defeats of their close opponents and advanced by many ranks.
