541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will courts forbid banks in denying service to Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2018, 09:52:02 AM
Israeli supreme court issued temporary injunction order forbidding a bank from halting the account activity of bitcoin exchange firm. This has been seen as a major victory of cryptocurrency industry and may set example to other businesses struggling to get bank services.
So given that, will courts of other countries follow suit in forbidding banks to deny services to bitcoin exchanges?
Share your thoughts guys.

Looks like court is having their own account in the crypto currency.  Grin

Well, Jokes apart I do believe that court has taken this decisions out of the public interest where they might fear that people may start taking the wrong pathways of investing into the crypto currency and thus disturbing the nations proper protocols or regulations etc. This step looks to me very much planned because mostly governments and banks or financial institute have good synchronisation of internal things. The same thing happened with the Indian banks where the local banks disputed the crypto currency exchanger accounts but when asked to the RBI they said that they never published any notice to the smaller banks for banning the crypto currency accounts like that. So you see they are all independent of decisions! That could happen and might have happened in the Israeli. But good news for the crypto holders over there.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it bad to own and control over 1,100,000 Bitcoins? on: February 27, 2018, 08:13:46 AM
Why would I sue anyone. I will just get half of them sold and cash them out into my bank account. Will pay the taxes for this transaction and will get retired. Will start building huge mansion for me and will get all of my family retired as well. Surely the world tour would be my dream. Will leave like legends by joining big wealthy club. Will leave only on 8 starred hotels and people at my services all the time who will get paid nice handsome payout.

I dont understand why they have to go in wars all the time when they huge money like this. You can enjoy heavenly life if you that much money.

Oh, about the remaining half money, I will keep it as it is just in case I get into trouble like this. Lolz. Cool
543  Economy / Economics / Re: There's a new economy growing on this forum - Merit on: February 27, 2018, 06:33:51 AM
I love this new merit system. And I see its use beginning to form a new type of economy here, anyone else see it?

I'm not talking about selling merit. There's been a lot of talk about such but I don't think many transactions are occurring. What is happening is that as everyone spends their merit there becomes significantly fewer people that have any to spend. So the sources become fewer and more centralized and the competition to get merit increases.

Feels like an economy on the verge of recession. Fortunately, merit isn't worth much!

I might be missing point here but the thing is we will get some sources each month depending upon the your hoarding of the merits (not advisable) and depending upon how much you spent on curating others.

Each time you curate others you get 1/2th of the merited sMerit. Thus it keeps the balance of you and the circle will keep going on and on if you are also getting curated by others. Obviously if you dont receive anything then you are not capable of sending either. Thats the rule I believe. It cant be defined as economy but way of rewarding each others.
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Addiction? on: February 26, 2018, 03:08:39 PM
I am pretty sure that I cant take break from such things. The crypto runs in my veins now and I cant let it go very easily because most of the money is coming from the same sources, trading! The trading has become really nerve wrecking and I cant wait to pop in my house after my 8 hours duty and get in front of the PC to start trading or see whats cooking in my previous investment. Thats more important somehow and yeah its kind of addiction to me now.  Grin

Moreover who can run from the signature campaigns, they are always there to help you as extra support. Its not much but its still free money when you are working on the bounty programs and you will never want to miss one which is initiated by your loving campaign manager.  Cool

Yeah, its all about the addiction of crypto now and I can relate to you completely.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market [centralization] on: February 25, 2018, 03:38:52 PM
I would argue that it's much more of a threat now simply because of how much more there are in the market.
It's nothing new, that's the whole point. The longer we allow Tether to grow, the larger it grows, and the more damage it delivers once it starts imploding, that's something everyone seeing Tether as a threat was aware of already. It's a logical happening after such event, and thus pretty easily to calculate its forward growing pattern. It's like a virus infecting this market slowly but surely.

Tether will never be an issue, Tether has some money in it yes -- but what is it a couple billion? That's nothing compared to the total market capitalization of all things Crypto, so yes it may affect a certain coin very heavily if that coin has a VERY large pair for Tether (and not with other coins and such) But Tether isn't going to be something that brings down the entire crypto market.

Bitcoin should pull up, but the market does what it does. No one knows what's going on, the market will do what it does.....
Tether never an issue? Hmmm. You don't know that Bitfinex is one of the largest exchanges and at the same time largest threat to this market? It's an insanely shady entity that for obvious reasons doesn't want to license itself, and that for years now. And let Bitfinex with their involvement in Tether itself also be Tether's major volume pusher.

Volumes of the top three Bitcoin exchanges in the last 24 hours.

1 - Bitfinex $720 million Tether volume against Bitcoin.
2 - OKex $720 million Tether volume against Bitcoin.
3 - Binance $330 million Tether volume against Bitcoin.

Volumes of the top three Ethereum exchanges in the last 24 hours.

1 - Bitfinex $290 million Tether volume against Bitcoin.
2 - OKex $255 million Tether volume against Bitcoin.
3 - GDAX $195 million actual USD volume against Bitcoin.

To add; market caps are meaningless. You just need to dump the price down of a leading exchange, which in current thin market can be achieved with a fair number of coins, and the market cap tanks with tens of billions in value, and that just because of a few million value dump.

The markets dropping again so do you think that we are again robbed with multi currencies and they all are down again? I don’t think that experts are really making proper suggestions here as the market is naturally fluctuating every other week and months. Experts are just trying to get popularity with their suggestions and they know very well that someday market will fall for sure and thus making them sound like right.

Regardless of their assumption I can bet on next market drop that might happen again. Then there will be up surge again and then again the market will drop. Oh come on that’s the natural cycle and it will continue like that. Doesn’t matter.

The centralisation would be the opposite world than crypto and we know how it works in our day to day life. Don’t bother much about it mixing with crypto currencies.

546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most powerful man in Bitcoin said this... on: February 25, 2018, 01:20:39 PM
That’s just two lines he said and it means nothing in front of the giant network of bitcoin or blockchain as whole. Why worry about it if it is coming out of thin air. The bitcoin has wide spread its roots and it going no where. We could have said that bitcoin is going down if few of the biggest investors in crypto were supposed to be going out of the crypto world. This is important because they are the one who hold the power by backing the market for bitcoin.  However none of them are moving anywhere and it’s all about the public decision I belive. Nothing relates to single guy with virtual power. That’s what I think about it.  Cheesy
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good bounty campaign to start right now on: February 25, 2018, 07:02:59 AM
Please suggest some bounty campaign name to start. I want to participate from the week 1 or 2 (if possible ) .

Question:
Is there any website to detect the actual running bounty campaign .

Initially all the bounties could seem to be very nice and attractive however in my experience the later part comes to an end in worst possible ways. Many scams!

Well, for now I am enrolled into DIW bounty program and it is one of the well thought decentralised project which I belive will turn out to be very good. After studying the project roadmap it looks decent one to me. The bounty however running since January but there is still one month left for it to finish and you can easily enroll to benefit yourself.

After this, I would have suggested you to enrol into LANCE project, very trusted and is being ran by good manager. That increases the trust factor more that’s why added up that one.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Five reasons 2018 could be the best year yet for cryptocurrencies. on: February 24, 2018, 10:59:51 AM
I am not sure about the reasons you have mentioned up there but do know one thing that crypto currency is on the verge of rising. It has already seen huge down slope and it is done with whatever crash it had recently. The crash was anyway replica of the year start which can also be seen for many last years! The downfall at the year start is always thought to be year ending post effect as well as Chinese new year start effect. They both squeeze the bitcoin market from both the side and hence it always falls around this one.

This will now again start rising as the post effects has ended and people are out of the hangover now! They are getting the investments back into crypto. News can be heard that many UK's stock holders are investing huge amounts of money into this and thus it can grow really big by the end of year 2018.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mining or trading??HELP ME!!! on: February 24, 2018, 09:40:08 AM
I'm newbie ,
im selected get bitcoin, how to get....!
 Helpfull

If you are newbie in the crypto world as well then you have to understand many aspects of the same. The trading and mining are completely different ends of the same rope! It depends on various facts which you may need to consider first so that you an work along.

Trading in the crypto world is simple and at the same time sophisticated job at various instances. For trading you may not need to spend much of the money or you may not need to do lot of investment. You can change the rules at your own, what I mean is, if you run out fo the money you can stop it, if you are in the profit then you can move further to different trades. This field has different branches with which you can play over the time! You can day trade, swing trade, hodl and much more! You can start the biggest trade by investing right from the pre-ico sale and last until the coin hits the exchanger to get your sweet pie! Thats what trading is all about here. In general!

Mining is completely different stuff which includes big initial investment and the money you earn is not really in your hands. I mean you can set up huge farm or little farm and depending upon that you will generate the hash rate which can get you some money. However, in the mining the difficulty for the network could rise over time and this one irreversibly proportional to your earning. The more the difficulty the less is your earning if you keep the hash rate constant. So you see its very difficult to say when you will get the ROI here. Plus its big idea to be sited in such small post!

So whatever you choose, you choose it depending upon your skills, way of working etc. Read and then continue!
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid bitcoin's end. on: February 23, 2018, 04:31:00 PM
We can avoid the end of bitcoin by developing it more and more in the time that is yet to come. In addition to this the use of bitcoin must be increased a lot otherwise there wont be any reason for the existence of the bitcoin. I am pretty sure that big personalities who dont want bitcoin into existence will always point out these two things in the long run and thus will make it look like worst. I mean development is very important aspect for the bitcoin now a days because that is what decides the ultimate use of the bitcoin. The more the use of it the more chances that it will survive.
551  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The only CRYPTO debit cards working right now! (EU/EEA Tested) on: February 22, 2018, 10:37:24 AM
Okay that is pretty good review of the crypto debit cards. However I am very concerned about the few things which makes me stop from even trying these cards. I get nervous by the thought that what if I am using the card one day and suddenly there is huge problem on the block chain of that card provider? What if my transaction does not pass through then it could be very shameful for me to stand in the line when the cashier will say your card isn't working dude! Lolz what if anything like that happen. I mean with the MasterCard and visa nothing like that happens and I can ship free minded with that one.

I know this is very wired thought but to be honest we cant trust the crypto currency on such high level! At least not me! But good review.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: How would a real economy crash affect btc price? on: February 22, 2018, 09:50:48 AM
Quote
But what would be the destiny of bitcoin and other crypto currencies?
And worst of all, in case of serious disruption of the economy, such as war, for example, what would you say?

History has seen worst of the time we could ever imagine. Looking after that im sure that bitcoin will stand out as different technology which can help during the times of war to transmit the coded or encrypted messages and war instructions through the use of blockchain technology and thus make the enemy lines very strong. This could happen and bitcoin might just get heavy invested to buy supplied of war and food and much more things. The physical currency may not help much while working between to friend countries as war will make it different to transact through. Then the bitcoin will be currency to trade thing via internet and thus will get huge value I would say. I think this is one of the possible scenario in the war or financial crisis.
553  Other / Meta / Re: Can a bad post recieve merit and then be deleted to hide it, and KEEP the merit? on: February 22, 2018, 06:38:22 AM
So the solution for this one is very simple.

If someone is getting the merits from the deleted posts on major scale then take him under the radar and then check if his behaviour is still the same or not. If the merit listing from his history keep showing the same results over the time then such account can be marked red as that would be clear cut spam.

There are hundreds of posts might be deleted everyday but for single account having the chances of posted over many posts that got deleted would be very less. So the difference can be felt by just looking at the merit history and further actions can be taken.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your involvment in crypto world? on: February 22, 2018, 05:45:04 AM
As the title, do you actually work 24/7 in the crypto world as like: trading, mining, bounties, airdrop etc?

And what is your expecting earnings in the future with those jobs? Do you sustain yourself with? Feel free to ask too Smiley

Well, I used to work over the crypto for 24/7 two years back but now im enjoying the post dates. I mean I am completely relaxed now because I have understood the market completely. I got to know inly one thing from all my experience and that is get entry at the bottom of trade and hold it for as much long as you could and then enjoy the rewards in the later parts of life. Creating a very nice portfolio helps a lot but obviously we have to study it first but we dont really need to give away 24/7 of our life. Thats related to the initial stages of our crypto our and that is what I believe in. Once you get pretty good experience of this field then you can just ask for coins to dance on you palm!

556  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin redistributes wealth or just makes the wealthy richer? on: February 16, 2018, 10:08:56 AM
One thing to note is that it was designed to do neither. Some people may think that Bitcoin is anti-establishment and was made so that people from the lower classes can level with people from the upper classes, and it's simply not as grand as that. It's a trustless currency, and rich people can just as easily enter the market as poor people.

That being said, I would say there's no wealth being redistributed in the strictest sense of the term, in that you're not really taking money away from the rich to give to the lower classes. Bitcoin made some poor people wealthy, it made some rich people wealthier, and that's it.

The clear idea behind this one is “the one who got money, can put more money and can earn back more money”. So yeah that’s what happening and I’m pretty sure the wealthier people are getting more wealth redistribution into their own community as compared to the poorer one. The poor people don’t need have that much power to enter into bitcoin market and they can’t push it hard
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Korea back on track on: February 09, 2018, 06:48:43 PM
From the beginning there was no plan to ban cryptocurrencies in Korea. It was just a rumor to manipulate the market. Those who made it, took the advantage lower prices.

Korea is just trying to stop illegal activities such as money laundering.

Yeah I am with this one and would like to think in the same manner. What we saw until now was just the FUD and way to make people feared. This leads to situations like panic sell and then dropped market of the crypto currency. This drop later on can cause the wrong impressions on new investors and people who got stuck into crypto at wrong time like this.

Hopefully this good news will spread amongst the people too and they will learn how it is not bad for the investing into crypto.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: Theory: Stocks profits soon to be dumped into crypto on: February 09, 2018, 04:07:19 PM
Yeah, this might just happen or some of the investors have already started doing so. This could be positive response that’s causing the green market currently. If we stayed positive then all you said might just turn into reality. They have all the reasons to do and if they are really smart people then they won’t loose their money over stock exchange anymore but they should see the profits in the crypto now. They could be the next reason to grow the BTC into something giant currency. Let’s be positive about this.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please help me i want sell all altcoin in less 1 month on: February 07, 2018, 06:09:13 PM
hi guys i hope you are fine in bad days !
i want sell all altcoin and i can wait only 1 month ! because i need money and i must change to cash..
so i waiting for next 1 month and sell then or i sell now or soon?because i dont want lost more again
may market crash again china holidays ?
i have ark stratis lisk waves etn etc adx and litle qtm gnt
so what i do ?
https://ibb.co/iqOFFc

I think the holdings that you have is very good one. The waves, lisk, qtm all of them are just perfect and I hold them too. But selling them at this point is not good idea according to me. I’m very positive about this investment so I will take more time over them and will sell them after six months or so. With the current bloodbath everything went down and our portfolio was also down a lot.

If you need money in a month or so then these coins may give you enough money. But off course you will have to check whether you are not loosing the money and going all panicked about the sell.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $1 Trillion Dollar Market Cap on: February 07, 2018, 03:17:15 PM
Wow you speak something that can attract anyone into crypto. But I’m not sure if the prices are really going to hit the hall mark of 50K this year or whether it is going to be this month. Also, bitcoin is anyway good currency but this year I’m going to focus more on the ETH because I belive that this utility coin will be used more and more as compared to the BTC. This can get us huge profits and it could be higher than the ETH itself. Other than this such crypto news on big news channels will really help us to spread the crypto currency.
