541  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 2 AVA4.1s Won! [5000 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: February 03, 2015, 05:27:22 AM
On a high note, after both winners had been announced the pool has maintained a hash rate of around 5TH! This give away was a big success.

Thanks for the opportunity to win some gear, it's a fun thing to be apart of and see mid level players get some goodies!

now for the low level players like me to get to get some goodies? like hell anyone under the 1THs mark would break a block..
(thats it, next round, ima hiring 50TH/s for a week)

Please take your time fixing it, sometime in 2016 would be good Smiley

then how are you supposed to make BTC?! log into the the site and enter your own values?! Bah! Heretic of the Cash Cow!

... let me sell you a bot to work with the api Grin

If reaper wasnt such a faggot egotistical wanker cry baby whinger this might be a good idea...but alas... its not as he is a gawtard faithful koolaid drinker.

Dems the breaks unfortunately.

So the Paycoin model is to buy Paycoin via Credit Card (Or Bank transfer-etc) through Paybase at ~10% "nottafee™" and then lose X amount while you hold this shitcoin, and then buy a Credit Card @ ~10% fee? What the fuck is wrong with these people? Why not just throw your money out in the street and hope there will be more there tomorrow ?

Just WAIT...This is Homero's NEXT "project"... Grin

I am NOT kidding...but who knows... Huh

ZiG

that was my idea for my scam coin, people throw money at my feet, i collect it all and pat them on their back, telling them they are 1 step closer to being a winner

548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Gold coin on: February 01, 2015, 11:14:33 PM
Well i dont know what more to say about the coin...
Its real gold 22 carats and a bit less than 7.98, about 7.80 becouse the use...
Im spanish yes.
I prefer btc better than ltc.  1.9BTC would be good.

you are in the alternative cryptocurrency forums, expect to be quoted other currencies other then btc here, if you want to get more of an audience, mention that you have this post here and a little bit of detail at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0 (btc goods trade section)
ignore that, looks like you already did:

Thank you! people will respect that!

what do you want to take back from this? give us an offer.

tell us a little more about this 1879 coin?
What I can see its 22 carrot gold, 7.98 grams, IF its pure gold, not gold clad copper, its worth over 200 ltc
now at that price, you will be escrowed the person buying it will be using an escrow, make sure its someone known here.

you are Spanish yes? so it would be shipped from there?
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Gold coin on: February 01, 2015, 09:18:09 PM
Info buddy!, pictures of it with your name on it and a shoe on your head, what is your asking price, where its from and escrow!

with nothing, for this "22 carat gold Sovereign 7. 98 gr 1879" coin with nothing more to say, I will give you 0.5ltc!
551  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive RockMiner New R-Box Setup [HD] on: January 31, 2015, 09:41:00 AM
is it normal to see WU: 4.2/m or is that too low a rate

thats hella low, im getting ~1000/m

check you hash speed, check your accepted/rejected/hardware error rates, make sure you're not getting to many hw numbers, and rejects, may need to change/update mining software
552  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 30, 2015, 01:51:31 AM
Have you ever considered in forming an alliance like OPEC to limit the hash rate race?  Wink  I just saw Bitfury said that their cloud service would only add hardware based on demand, is this a trend towards more cloud based service?
It's funny to read it from mega self miner.
No, it's illegal.

How is that illegal?  Smiley It is just a consensus (if it ever can be reached). Even pools can be allied together to protect against a faulty fork in 2013, and against potential 51% attack if it ever happens

Imagine a vendor that have leading semi-conductor process 10nm, he can limit his production scale at a certain level so that the network hash rate increase slowly. He then could start a cloud mining service and sell the hash power at market rate, which leaves him large margin to deal with market volatility. I think that is what Bitfury means

In the USA there is an antitrust law preventing companies from joining together to set / fix prices and supply. Its to promote fair competition for the consumers.

about that antitrust thing, why has it not kicked in for Warner bros. and Comcast? they are trying to stop this whole "class 2" act and monopolise the communication of the USA? they want you to pay for internet you are already paying for, "oh, we cant push youtube or netflicks down our pipe quick enough, they must pay for bigger pipes... hey customer, you can pay, you are already paying for our service, its their pipes which are to small"

*customer pays * *comcast flicks switch* *customer gets 720p videos*

id say check the PSU, see if thats pushing the right voltage to the units, unplug all the units and go one by one (i don't own one of these, but thats what i would of tried)

No you are correct.  I did not read well enough on my phone that you meant the Avalon 4 chips.
Sorry about that.

Yes decent little USB miners.
They work best with BFGMiner.

wait, did i miss something? there is avalon4 nanos now?

where?
..its not at the shop(ehash), the nanos there are only the A3233 type

ah, thats alright, one day we would have nice little 25GHs usb miners

I see that the site and forum are off-line this morning; looking at the whois I think that minepeon is about to die.

quick to judge?

i see some work done on minepeon git, 4 days ago, the forums, last message was yesterday

it looks like voxdemonix is working on it now, not mineforeman
559  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: C++ mining library to build into computer games? on: January 26, 2015, 11:59:29 PM
If the game has a clear statement within the licence agreement that it has such software in the game to benefit the developers, no suing is involved. Its like game developers putting advertisement in their games, if its stated in the agreement, its understood and accepted by the person installing the software.

If the statement about advertising in game is not in the agreement, and the person installing the software finds a "cola" advertisement in the game, guess who gets sued.

as pointed out, the miner only runs when the software runs, there are even websites out there that have mining software on it, and clearly stated, no one has gotten sued by that yet.

now them silly buggers that just skip over the EULA, then tries to sue them for having "hidden software" in the game, but the object stated in the EULA, guess what gets thrown out of court...

i love how this original question by OP was whether there is any software out there that they could imbed into their software, to legalities of doing it.
560  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: January 26, 2015, 12:51:47 PM
I've got a Rockminer R-Box, can anyone offer tips as to what replacement fans fit on this miner? I was told this one should, and judging from the picture it looks like it does.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001CCGYU0/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=37L9NZPJJSDFM&coliid=I3VWG4N8OAWWUR

Any other ones?

IMO just open the case, buy a house fan and sit it right in front, it works wonders.

@Rockminer

Are you guys gonna keep making miners?  I hope you guys keep kicking I love your little hobby miners.

i think they are after some one else to help them produce the miners.

As for the fan no idea about the R-Box, i think the thermaltake fan should do, for $11-12 for a fan and useless sink, not much of a loss if it didn't fit
