5481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to understand the value of one new coin? on: June 09, 2018, 09:03:51 AM
I'm very noob on this kind of information.
How is possible to hypothesize the value of a new born coin?
Do you simply gamble on the coin and start mining it?
First of all you need to check if its a rip off of other trending coin or not. If it is, then the chances of the value of the coin to be extremely low is quite high. Secondly, go through the white paper. See what they have to offer and how unique their coins are. Check who the developers are and how reputed they are. Finally, check different factors that will directly cause huge impact on the value of the coin such as max supply, premining and how it is distributed.
5482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Cloud Mining Operators and Agents can face up to 21 years in prison on: June 09, 2018, 08:50:52 AM
According to the regulator these contracts promise to pay the investor daily or weekly mining proceeds and these unregistered firms also affiliate commissions for every recruit that registers.

Now we're talking, may this serve as a pre-caution to those miners.

What are your thoughts?
They are not miners. They are scammers. All most all cloud mining sites are pure scam. They are nothing, but ponzi schemes. Based on the current costs, cloud mining should never be profitable for the service providers. And don't fall for the free hashes they give. You won't be able to cashout for "free". You will need to buy something prior to cashing out your profit and this is where they scam you.
5483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins are good on investing right now? on: June 09, 2018, 08:09:17 AM
You should do your own research and invest on coins that you think has potential. Read the whitepaper. Look who is working behind the coins. Try to filter out all shit coins. Also don't just invest on one coin. Spread out your investment to reduce risks of huge losses (this also means less profit). People will be biased towards the coins they have invested on and will suggest to invest on the same coin even if that coin is totally shit.
5484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best prediction way of crypto market on: June 08, 2018, 10:22:07 PM
I know this is a volatile market. Up and down is always happens. But is their any way to realize the market situation. Or what factors are responsible for changing the market value.
The market is actually quite unpredictable. You will not know whats going to happen in the future. You will be seeing the price skyrocketing but within few seconds taking a huge dip. Though you can get some clues by looking at the previous price and charts. There seems to be a common pattern is being followed every year. Analyze those charts but do keep in mind that they might deviate from that pattern anytime without any notice.
5485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yobit.net exchange (Liza) altcoin is scam? on: June 08, 2018, 10:18:56 PM
If you think its a scam coin, then make a proper thread and let people know about it. Yobit is not an reliable exchange at all. They have loads of shitty and scam coins. I don't even know why yobit actually adds them. They usually die within a week. You are better off using some other trusted exchange rather than using yobit. Try binance for example. They are way better than yobit and quite popular too.
5486  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain as a solution to inequality? on: June 08, 2018, 10:16:04 PM
Didn't go  through the whole article (lost interest half way as the article sounded quite typical) but the upper half of the article got my attention where they stated that new technology has bought more inequality. To be honest, for the universe to be balanced, we will need inequality. There are rich people because poor people exist. If everyone was rich, then the term rich would actually mean nothing. And think about it this way, if everyone was actually equally rich, then who would be working on the field to produce crops? Eventually there must and will be class difference as long as the earth exists. Without inequality, the society would cease to run at all.
5487  Economy / Economics / Re: My Advice on Investing in Crypto on: June 08, 2018, 10:09:48 PM
Can certainly trust and invest crypto currencies. I would suggest you to invest in any legit ICOs which are doing good with their projects. We have too many best ICOs now a days with best projects, best team members and so on. Spend time in going through the details of ICOs listed on top. Be more aware of giving out your KYC documents as well. Best projects would certainly bring more profits when the coins are listed in exchanges.
Still better to avoid ICOs if you can. Way better to invest on bitcoins or other trending and well known coins rather than investing your valuable money on some random ICOs which might be able to deliver or not. Even if you are considering to invest on ICOs, invest as soon as the ICO ends rather than investing during coin offering since the price remains at its peak point during the end if ICO as many people starts to dump their rewards earned from campaigns hosted by that ICO.
5488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens or Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2018, 09:33:30 PM
Depends on how much you are willing to risk and how long can you hold your patience. If you are looking for less risky option go for bitcoin. You won't be making a huge profit in short term, but you will be making a good profit in the long run. The profit is like almost guaranteed. But if you are looking for making some quick profit (luck plays a huge factor here), then invest on some tokens which have just ended (usually the price gets dumped as soon as an iCO ends and gets listed on an exchange) and hope for a huge profit. Though this option is way riskier.
5489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Starts To Rise on: June 08, 2018, 07:35:16 PM
Long-term investors can buy ETH while it is relatively cheap.

Read Bokka Crypto Technical Analysis ETH/USD 05.06.18: https://bokka.com/cryptocurrency-news-ethereum-starts-to-rise/
All those charts and predictions are made using typical market/trading rule. Crypto currency price are totally unpredictable and they do not follow those typical rules. Different factors affect the price. You will see the price going up but then all of a sudden a huge crash might follow up. But do keep in mind that in the long run, the price will eventually rise (but assuming that people are now getting used to crypto currencies and has started to adopt them).
5490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What wallet do you prefer? on: June 08, 2018, 12:11:30 AM
Hey people,

I am doing a survey about what people use to store their crypto....hope I can get more responses so I can make some charts. I'll post the results once I get enough responses. Thanks!

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HD5GKRQ
Filled out the survey! For long term storage i use trezor which is an hardware wallet. Actually quite impressed by it.
Other users who are saying that they use e-wallet or online wallet, do keep in mind that they are NOT safe at all. Your funds might get hacked or you might lose control of your wallet without any prior notice. So better stay away from online wallets. And never use an exchange for a long term storage.
5491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worry not! The Greatest Giants are with us! on: June 08, 2018, 12:06:46 AM
Good news for all of us bitcoin enthusiasts. I don't really care if they are regulating lots of exchanges as long as our country won't ban crypto. I'm very positive that most of those in neutral stand  will really legalize bitcoin for there are already lots of countries doing it and its is for the greater good and development of your technology in the future and blockchain has still lot to offer to mankind when it comes to advancement in technology.
The more they regulate, the more it will affect us. So don't make it sound like its not an issue at all. All these regulations will end up making crypto currency more like a centralized thing that none of us actually want. And what do you mean by "legalize"? Only few countries (mostly third world countries) have called out bitcoin illegal and rest of the countries are fine with it.
5492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is GREEN today! Bull Run starting now? on: June 07, 2018, 09:16:19 PM
I think this is not the beginning yet. The market is very unstable-today growth, tomorrow fall. We will watch, watch and hope for long-awaited growth. We need a push, we need positive news.

The market/price right now is actually quite stable. Price has been fluctuating between $7,400 to $7,800. No major rise or drop has taken place within the last few weeks. Its actually a good sign for now. Once the wall is broken we might see some sweet rise for a while. That is what has been happening in the last few years.
5493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge tokens during Bounties on: June 07, 2018, 08:13:38 AM
The reason why one should not sell as soon as an ICO end is because of these bounty rewards. You will see people receiving huge amount of tokens from this reward program. Some users tend to sell them as soon as possible to cash out all their earnings. Thus the price gets dumped temporarily and we see the price starting to fall. This eventually recovers, so if one has an intention to hold on for a long term, they should hold it as long as possible even when they see the price starting to drop.
5494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: June 07, 2018, 08:11:17 AM
On the macro side, there are a number of positive developments that have helped push the popularity of the cryptocurrency up.  Ripple has been working on a deal with the Bank of America, the latest institution to jump into the cryptocurrency market.

Ripple has a number of bank partnerships, including Santander and Master Card that have elevated the cryptocurrency in the minds of retail investors...

Ripple (XRP.X) price prediction: what to expect?

I believe Ripple will bull again!!!
Ripple is going to be a regulated coin. Banks and crypto currencies working together doesn't seem right. They don't go together and will be  the worst duo ever. Crypto currencies were made so that we have decentralization based financial system. But bank gets involved it crypto currencies, it no longer remains decentralized. Will be more like a centralized system.
5495  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: June 06, 2018, 06:51:56 PM
You mean ready to accept crypto currency? Since its a small business, then yes they actually should be. You will see lots of small online shops accepting bitcoin. They get the coins and can instantly convert it to fiat within seconds due to low volume of transactions taking place in the shop. But problem with bigger business is that they cannot instant convert it to fiat and the price instability becomes a huge issue for them.
5496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt my lessons on: June 06, 2018, 05:52:35 PM
It is never a good thing to sell hastily.
It is never a good thing to sell below ICO price.
It is not also good to sell at exactly the ICO price.
There were times sold when i was not supposed to sell. Just because of the excitement of receiving tokens through bounty participation and perhaps through airdrop, i was eager to cash out.
Most of the times i did this, i always found out that i later ran at loss, not considering my effort and the time spent in promoting such project.
I could have also had 2x and sometimes 10x the ICO price, but impatience made me to loose the opportunity.

My last experience was on a token i received. Mentioning the name will be of no use, but for crypto enthusiasts to also learn from my mistake. Ever since then, i have learnt to hold and this has been profitable to me.
No matter how you got your token or coin, always try and be patient enough to hold until you are in profit.
Those are some basic things that you should have known before investing/selling off your coins. If you went through the forums regularly, you will often see threads popping up were people states the exact mistakes that you have done. Sadly most of the people just ignores it unless they suffered. Now think of this suffering/loss as a form of spending money to learn something (in a hard way).
5497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am i expected to do? on: June 06, 2018, 03:23:22 PM
I am new to this forum, but i have been into crypto for more than a year. I am loosing some of my holdings due to the fall in prices of my coin and altoins. What should i do please.
Any advise that will be useful is welcome.
Totally depends on what coin you are holding. If it some reputed and well known coin, then hold your investment. The price will eventually recover and go back up to where it was or go even higher. If it is some random shitcoins that has no sign of reviving back to life, sell it as soon as possible. You will be able to reduce your losses. Again if it is some stable coins but you see there are other coins that might give you better profit, then sell your investment and start investing on those coins.
5498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty KYC on: June 05, 2018, 11:33:29 PM
I do not recommend joining campaigns which ask for KYC whenever possible since this whole KYC  process goes against the very thing that the cryptocurrency market stands for which is anonymity. I discovered this market while searching for a way to conduct financial transactions online in an anonymous manner without any sort of outside interference. On top of this, avoid campaigns that ask for any sort of payment since they are most likely scams.
Then you might end up not being able to join any kind of ICO in the future. Most of the countries are starting to be completely strict about imposing rules and regulating ICOs. KYC is starting to be a mandatory thing for now. It is actually for the well being of the customers. Helps to make sure all the investments are legit and no fishy business is being taken place by money launderers.
5499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose exchange. My experience on: June 05, 2018, 11:27:50 PM
I do use binance a lot. They are good, but sometimes the main page gets extremely laggy. Probably due to the charts being constantly updated. I have seen many people reporting the same thing. I wouldn't say their fees are the best though. And the fixed withdrawal fee is something i don't actually like at all. Never heard of qryptos though. Might give that a try.
5500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 05, 2018, 11:18:11 PM
It can be considered as a kind of investment. You invested your "time" here instead of your "money". People here saying that "you will not lose your money" or "bounty rewards are just free coins" are actually wrong. You have worked for it and you have earned it. No way it is something you got it for free (unless it is an air drop. Air drops are shit anyways). Instead of doing the bounty you could have done something else to earn money but you chose to do the bounty program. So that earning is equivalent to your job you gave up for doing the bounty.
