5581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will it stop here or will be a more extreme increase? on: May 05, 2018, 02:45:45 PM
The Price of Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrency begin to recover, Will it stop here or will be a more extreme increase?
I want to know some of the coins you hold? and which coin is now worth to hold (except ETH and BTC)?
Thank You, And I'm happy to discuss this with you.
Don't ask for peoples opinion when investing on coins. You will only get biased answers. People will always recommend you to invest on coins they have invested even if its a shit coin and they know it. Since more people investing means higher price. Just do your own research and choose the best one.
As for the price of bitcoin, it won't stop here. We will see the price rising more once it breaks the $9,850 resistance.
5582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be ahead of others in simple way! on: May 05, 2018, 06:54:10 AM
There are many greats who never compete with others, but they compete with themselves only. But it doesn’t apply to everything, at least not with trading. Here, you are required to compete with OTHERS and to be ahead of others.

That’s exactly what is now going to be possible with one of the BEST recent creation called Cryptonewstrends, it’s just fascinating in every way. It is a non-stop site for news and really easy to work through and is the simplest way to stay ahead of others!
Just skimmed through your site. You always get the latest trending news about crypto currency when you google it, so why create another website for it? The best thing to do is to add your own content. You might attract more users than now.
5583  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price analysis on: May 04, 2018, 09:53:54 PM
Pretty much agree with you on everything except I think if we surpass $10k we won't rise astronomically quick to $11,700. I think the rise will be gradual as it has been these past 3-4 weeks here. Sometime in June I expect to be near 12k but not until then.

There must be a strong volume to break the resistance and sustain the level so we can see the pice at a higher level. But its really takes time before the price to go up high. I just hope for some big news this month of may so the bullish pattern will continue.
Rather not expect some "news" to cause the price to go up. Just a gradual rise is totally fine and that is what we all want. No hurry at all. The sudden rise in the price due to some "good news" is just temporary which is then followed by a huge correction. This correction is what misleads people to think that the price is starting to fall.
5584  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which exchange allows to buy BTC with credit card ? on: May 04, 2018, 05:10:53 PM
You can try coinmama to buy bitcoin with your credit card. They do support a lot of countries and I did use them once. Did like their services (not sure how they are now, was a bit long time ago) but the per day limitations was kind a frustrating. Moreover their fee was high too compared to coinbase.
5585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to determine price of altcoin in the market? on: May 04, 2018, 09:46:11 AM
I have participated in a bounty campaign and received my tokens. After few weeks, the price of the altcoin went down. Does it really happen? At first, the price is high, but goes down over time. How will I determine of the price will go down or up? Any tips? Thanks!
Yeah you can somewhat predict how the the price of a token will fall after the campaign ends. First you need to check how much tokens they are distributing for free or through reward system pre ICO. The more free tokens they distribute the lower the price will be since after receiving those free tokens most users end up dumping it. Next, the price depends on how good the project is.
5586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to promote ICOs? on: May 03, 2018, 08:59:13 PM
What are the best ways to promote ICOs?
Aggressive advertisement/marketing is the best way to promote an ICO. Now its up to you how you want to advertise it. You can use the forum or the social media or different websites to promote your ICOs. You will attract more users to advertise for you if there are rewards for them. More user = more advertisement = more attention towards your ICO = better presence in the market.
5587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: May 03, 2018, 08:56:01 PM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
Do you even know why bitcoin is being preferred more than fiat currencies? Bitcoin is decentralized and fiat currencies are centralized. Once you put your bitcoins on bank, it no longer possess the decentralized characteristics. It becomes more like a centralized currency where you will lose full control of your coins. If you want to get fixed amount of profit per year from bank just stick with traditional currencies. Bitcoin and banks will never go together.
5588  Economy / Economics / Re: Prices will some day fluctuate less? on: May 03, 2018, 08:33:54 PM
Yeah the price will indeed start to fluctuate less one day. This "one day" is the day when all the coins will be mined. The day when people will fully adopt crypto currencies and the day when crypto currencies will be officially recognized as an asset which can be used to exchange good. So you do get a guess that this day is actually far from now.
5589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to BUY? on: May 03, 2018, 07:39:34 PM
About the dump. Not all altcoins after the dump will ever rise in price. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the prospects
Can you give us more details about this subject?
There are tons of shit coins in the market. Those are just considered scam coins since the developers make those coin with no real potential behind. Once a market accepts the coin, the developers starts to dump  all their coins and never ever works for the project. Hence the coin is dead and will never rise back.
5590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to BUY? on: May 03, 2018, 05:11:54 PM
Hello,

Can somebody explain how to decide buying an altcoin?

Let me write what I know;
  • Check the coinmarketcap.com and choose ones with high volume
  • Check the projects
  • Check the chart, if it is pumped, don't buy, wait
  • Check the chart, if it is dumping, wait low volatility

Please correct and/or add other ideas to help noob traders like me Smiley

I will try to give merits to good posts as much as I can.

Thanks.
Let me just elaborate your points. Just checking for volumes is not enough. You must be able to differentiate between fake transaction volumes and the real ones. If for no reason you see a coin with high volume, then something is indeed fishy. You need to check the project, but do you usually see? You check who developers are. If you are well known you are good to go. Next see what they have to offer. Check if there are other projects that sounds the same, if they do look for the one you think will work out better. Also look for projects that can actually be possible to execute. Tons of project out there which are just "all talk".
5591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I buy for $ 10,000? on: May 03, 2018, 04:43:39 PM
To be honest, don't ask for peoples opinion when investing on any crypto currency. They will just tend to be as much biased as possible even if they don't realize it or admit it. They will be biased towards the coins they have invested so more people start investing on those coins. The best thing to do is to do your own research and decide if you should invest or not. Like right now you know the price of Ethereum has fell a lot and you believe that it will recover. Then go ahead invest on ETH.
5592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i need your opinion on: May 03, 2018, 04:32:55 PM
Hi Guys!

I have started to write about crypto on my website - https://usehodl.com, the problem is that I don't know if the topics that I write are interesting for someone. Can anybody check them and tell me what do you think about it?
Just skimmed through some of the topics (just read the topic not the what was written in there) and got some understanding. Looks like you are just posting typical or generic articles or newsletters which can be found out through the internet. Your best bet is to write something more unique like how crypto can be more developed or how to attract more users to use crypto using your own opinion. What I am trying to say is that you are just posting "facts". Try writing more articles based on your opinions, which might help to create discussion.
5593  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware of Binance!! on: May 03, 2018, 04:29:09 PM
To make things worse, I received this reply from Binance:
Hello:
Due to it has taken longer than usual to get your response of the ticket. Therefore, it is supposed that the issue has been closed already. If you still require customer support agent to assist you, please submit a new ticket. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.

Are these guys for real?

I opened my ticket and I am waiting for THEIR reply.... and all I get is that they closed my ticket due to a lack of response from me??

Is this a scam??

This much unprofessional approach by Binance? Seems very similar to some service known as Craptopia. Roll Eyes

I've never faced their support team, but after seeing that, it makes me wanna write a support ticket to them regarding any little complex issue right now.

Mate, it's time we start valuing the decentralized exchanges around us and say good-bye to these devils.

So I did write something to them worthy of getting a reply.

...and I didn't get any reply either. Roll Eyes

This really makes me think, why is Binance the number one?
You did get a reply and I am assuming it is not an automated reply. They did admit that they took long enough to answer your ticket and wanted to know if your problem was solved or not. If not, they want you to reply to this email and they will reply back to you (which i assume will take few more days again). God, they need to fix their english.
5594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we enter this Cryptocurrency world early or late? on: May 02, 2018, 09:47:17 PM
For me its not too late for us in entering cryptocurrency world because there is still time to work and earn like what others did. Yes they engage in crypto earlier than us and they are now successful and financially stable. Lets just be positive thinking that we can also have what they got and need to push ourselves because there are still lot of opportunities that crypto brings to us.
Its really annoying when someone says "earn bitcoin". Most of the people who uses this sentence are just faucet farmers and dust collectors. Why don't you save yourself some time and just invest as much as you can? $50 one time investment can actually give you more profit than you would have earned begging/farming/dust collecting.
5595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nationality and altcoins on: May 02, 2018, 09:45:00 PM
How do you think the country, in which have been invented and released the coin, is related to the nationality of investors?
Let's say that the Chinese invest in NEO (and the Japanese do not invest at all). Ether is more invested by the Russians. What do you think? Yes, these coins are bought by all. But is there a link between the country of origin and investment?
For example, I'm very proud when someone from my country comes up with some kind of cool idea and then incarnates in life.
Would not last long to be honest. The coin will kinda sound more like a country "centralized" currencies. If it becomes whats the point of making those coins as there are already fiat currency? Crypto currencies are meant to be decentralized and global with no country having any exclusiveness to it.
5596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which country is heaven for crypto traders and Exchangers? on: May 02, 2018, 09:29:57 PM
I am from Lagos(Nigeria) and there is no any restrictions for crypto,no taxes,no goverment control or something like this.We have our national  world -wide famous exchange NairaEx and you dont need to be veryfied there. So everybody with your crypto welcome to my country!
Exchanging between coins from exchange on your country is actually fine but the issue will take place when trying to withdraw the fiat through the same exchange. Transactions taking place from Nigeria might cause a lot of red flags and people may have to deal with a lot of unnecessary and unwanted issues.
5597  Economy / Economics / Re: Is banking still important in the bitcoin era? on: May 02, 2018, 09:13:33 PM
Yes banking is important without banking how will you buy your bitcoins??
You think banking is the only way to buy bitcoin. You should keep in mind right now banks are the only one imposing strict rules when trying to buy bitcoin using your own money from your own bank. Look at VISA. They are cutting ties and trying to avoid all transactions related to crypto currencies. Better use P2P way of exchanging fiat and coins.
5598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: May 02, 2018, 09:11:31 PM
Crypto world is in crysis now and it's not only due to red market but also because of tons of scam ICOs. And that pisses a lot of bounty hunters off cause scam ICOs produce useless unworthy tokens! People waste sometimes several months to participatein bounty and either get no tokens or get shitcoins.

It's so hard now to find a good bounty. eCoinomic.net platform is running one now and it looks pretty solid and trustworthy, they also predict a balanced growth for CNC token https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2897866.msg29799978#msg29799978

But how do you guys know if your bounty is trustable? Why do you personally trust bounty you're participating in right now?
Your username is: eCoinomic and you are advertising for "eCoinomic.net". The worst part is "platform is running one now and it looks pretty solid and trustworthy". I am cool with you advertising yourself/platform, but self proclaiming that you are "pretty solid and trustworthy" kinda hits the red flag.
I don't do bounties as they are just waste of time and most of them just end up scamming people.
5599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction price Bitcoin on: May 02, 2018, 08:38:08 PM
Today I was amazed at how low the commission was when transferring 0.07 bitcoins. Only 192 sat !!! The transfer took about 10-20 seconds. It's very, very cool. About $ 650 for $ 0.017 - this is something! Bitcoin is the future!
This means that big change are happening in bitcoin right now, with this change many would love to make their transaction here. I think bitcoin will deliver more aside from this one.
Lol. You got to be kidding me. This means nothing, pffftt.. let alone "your big change". This just indicates that the network right now not being spammed, which was the prime reason for higher fees last few months.  And read what franky1 posted. Makes a lot of sense.
5600  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Advice regarding refund from an Exchange(Bitlish)after a hacker got all my funds on: May 02, 2018, 04:09:22 PM
So, The exchange platform is Bitlish.com.

Exchange is registered on
Reg no. 9564930
161-165 Farringdon Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1R 3AL.

Context:

On april 30, between 2-3 AM my account was hacked, my 4000HBZ were sold for a crappy price in ETH, then converted to BTC and sent out to an external wallet.
In the morning i found the language switched to RU and all funds gone.

I submitted some tickets to their atifraud sistem, and after allot of waiting, they asked me for some photos with my ID, selfie, and a proof of address . (Is this legal? Do i have to send them?)

What would you recommend for me to do, so i get my assets back?

I know it's a long shot, for an exchange to refund it's users after a hack occurred, But i'm willing to do anything, even if i lose more money with lawyers and stuff like that, than what i already lost.

I also know i din't lose allot of money, my 4k HBZ were about 40-60$. But i bought those in ICO stage with 0.15$ per coin, so seeing the price drop, and after that losing my coins after i invested time into a project pissed me off.

How easy is it to access your account? I mean was there any additional security layer on your account like two factor mobile authentication or email notification when someone from unknown device accessed your account? Or at least an email approval when withdrawing from your exchange. All these additional security level should exist in an exchange, or else you should avoid that exchange. And if it does exist and it is you who did not enable them, then its actually your fault. The hacker somehow got hold of your credentials and hacked your account. Maybe you used the same Login information on different sites and one of those sites had their database leaked.
Again, think about it this way. If they let you have  a refund, then imagine how many people are going to abuse it. They will say that their coins where hacked (despite it was them who sold their coins and cashed out) and ask for a refund.
Sorry to say, but the chances are low of you getting back your coins. I know its very frustrating, but the best thing to do is move on and stop crying over spilt milk, you will just end up with more losses. Since you believe that the price of HBZ will eventually skyrocket anytime soon, but the price has dropped for now, then use this opportunity to buy and sell it when the price goes up.

Indeed, i did not use any form of 2FA, just because i don't like using multiple devices to access my account. My authetificator is on my smartphone. I don't use the same credentials on multiple websites anyway. But why is it one's fault if the website gets hacked, you don't have 2FA, and you lose funds?(Assuming the vulnerability did not come from your end)

It's a low amount, I know, and it may seem like bragging, but i cannot help it. It wasn't my fault, i spent time on that project, invested emotions, had some plans, and now..SWOSHH ..GONE!
If the website was actually hacked, we would have seen more people posting about the exchange being hacked. And if they were actually hacked, they would have realized and let everyone know and tell them to change their password.
I am not saying that its your fault, but if you had enabled 2FA your funds would have been safer.
Anyways there is nothing much you can do I guess. Just warn other people and if you do have solid proof then you may be able to take legal actions.
