6541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investment for 3 months on: May 26, 2017, 04:20:55 PM
I think these coins might rise up pretty well.

Just because I both love gambling & gaming I also love the concept of the coins.

Here is what I think I will invest this week:

ETC
GAME
EDG
STRATIS

Will leave them for around 3 months and see where we can get from there!

What do you think? Any suggestions?
You should actually hold a profit/loss threshold level. Once you reach the level you should end up selling them. Keep them in mind they are alt coins, extremely volatile. You might not want to end up making huge loss. Though if you know about those coins and believe them, you can continue to hold on.
6542  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain or Coinbase or Other.... on: May 26, 2017, 01:56:16 PM
I earn bitcoin from faucets. I'm using blockchain wallet. And I have 0.0008+ btc on my blockchain wallet. When I try to sent my bitcoin to other address it only allow me to sent nearly 0.00026 btc. It means I have to pay 0.00054+ btc for this transaction fee.

My question is which wallet I should use?
I earn bitcoin from faucets. Not so much btc I can earn from faucet. To keep my btc safe and avoid the high transaction fee which wallet I should use?
Which wallet is best in all means?
You shouldn't rely on web wallets, but since you are storing small amount of bitcoins it won't affect you much. You do know you can set your transaction fee on blockchain? You can use whatever amount of fee you want to pay but please be aware that your transaction might never confirm if you pay below recommended fee. Or you can also try electrum.
6543  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which wallet is best in all means? on: May 26, 2017, 01:45:25 PM
To keep bitcoin safe and avoid the high transaction fee and for all other best benefits which wallet we should use?
Which wallet is best in all means?
I see you have listed a lot of online wallets. You should know that online wallets are not the best options and not totally safe. You won't have full control over your wallets. If the site goes down, so does your access to wallets. Hackers might get into your wallet. So for me storing my bitcoins on online wallets is a total NO. But for storing smaller amount you can use online wallets, since you can access them from any place.
6544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 25, 2017, 07:03:43 PM
Not yet but I will be rich someday Somehow in the future. Because i believe if you give your best in one you like. You will give a massive income in the future. But Not in gambling i believe i can make it in trading because it is less risk in trading than in gambling.
No chance of getting rich from gambling. Chances are very slim and you have to be extremely lucky to get rich from gambling. Remember, casinos have house edge. So in the long run you will lose and the casino will always when no matter what.
Trading is also risky but if you know what you are doing it much more safe than gambling. We all know gambling = all luck, where as trading = little bit of luck but more of knowledge.
6545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I pay with bitcoins now? on: May 25, 2017, 06:31:47 PM
I saw many threads regarding this but whose gonna spend BTC on these hardware or digital goods when that BTC will earn for itself day by day in the wallet??
I am searching for stores where LTC or other altcoins are taken as a payment for digital goods.
You can try cryfter.com . They accept ALT(LTC and Doge maybe) coins as far as i remember. They do have different kind of digital goods. Bought a lot of gift cards and play store cards from them. Was easy and painless.
Or you can offer some trusted user to buy you your goods and pay them in ALT.
6546  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 25, 2017, 06:19:18 PM
It can help to us develop the economy of a country, specially poor developing countries. Easy international transaction and payments opens more opportunity for people to work online and at least find some job that could help them survive. More people getting jobs = better economy of the country.
6547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much loss is tolerable in coin trading? on: May 25, 2017, 04:56:11 PM
Speaking frankly, any kind of loss is not tolerable and kinda feels shit. But we all know there is risks and should could in all probable losses. For bitcoin i wouldn't say i would face any loss, cause if i see a price drop i would just hold it instead of panic selling. But for alt coins, I would consider 25% of my initial investment as a threshold to exceed my tolerance level.
6548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: May 25, 2017, 06:52:21 AM
Do you think the richest families or personalities in the world would be interested in using bitcoins??
And if so, would that be a good thing for us small people or negative??
I mean rich people are capabale of so much things, so it makes me wonder..
Depends. If they are capable of holding huge amount of coins, they might be able to manipulate the market. But I don't think they would be going through all those troubles. They are already rich enough and bitcoin won't interest them much. But if they want to hide their wealth that would be a whole different story, but won't be affecting us much.
6549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perceptions about Bitcoin on: May 24, 2017, 03:22:18 PM
Most people who haven't heard about bitcoins, hears them for the first time either on news papers or the media. Now when do the media talk about bitcoins? Let me say it in a simple language: Mostly when something "bad" takes place and bitcoin is involved. We need to stop spreading the negativity and need to make people aware about the bright side of cryptocurrency.
6550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Planned or impulsive gambling? on: May 23, 2017, 01:25:12 PM
I used to gamble a lot back then. Never had any fixed time/schedule to gamble. Used to gamble whenever i wanted to or whenever i felt boring, needed some fun or when i was in good mood and wanted to win some money (didn't matter if i lost lol.). Smiley
All the actions i take mainly depends on my emotion and mental state lol.
6551  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: May 22, 2017, 09:13:29 PM
Not at all, it is not possible that you can earn bitcoin from YouTube Channel.
I don't know about it too much, but i am sure YouTube Channel can't pay his member on bitcoin.
But you have other ways to earn bitcoin like in Bitcointalk. It is more trustable forum and everyone who want to earn bitcoin they are coming on this plate-forum.
It's actually wrong if you say you can't earn bitcoin from a Youtube channel. It's true youtube won't pay you directly with bitcoins, but you know you can buy bitcoins with the money you get.
If your youtube channel is bitcoin related, do some casino reviews, use your affiliate/referral link and you might earn % of bitcoin from your affiliates. Some casinos also pay with bitcoin if you make reviews about their site.
6552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 22, 2017, 03:15:29 PM
If you think the price of BTC is going too high for you to gamble, why don't you buy smaller amount equivalent to the USD you would have spent? It the same thing, just  fewer satoshi. Or you could go for other cheaper alt coins like doge coin. You can try crypto-games.net if you want to gamble with alt coins. They accepts different kinds of alt coins and you can even exchange your coins directly from site.  Smiley
6553  Economy / Economics / Re: The best investment you ever made? on: May 22, 2017, 03:00:43 PM
With btc income I collect with less than 1 btc, In your opinion how to manage my income with such a result by way of investing.
What's the best investment you've ever made?
Holding your bitcoin itself is a way of investment. Bitcoin indeed does have a huge potential and we may see it's price rising even more. You can also try investing on other alt coins. Make sure you read about those coins and see how good/different they are from other coins. Beware of scam coins though.
My best investment was bitcoin itself. Had invested and made a lot of profit from it. Sadly i lost interest from bitcoin for the last two years, though i am back Smiley
6554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: May 22, 2017, 02:48:32 PM
Use offline wallets/hardware wallets if you are planning to hold bitcoins worth of huge amounts. Offline wallets are much safer and you have full control over your coins.
But you can use online wallet to store small amount of coins to do small transactions. But remember, you don't have full control over your coins at online wallet.
6555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do I change my altcoins for BTC? on: May 20, 2017, 08:21:15 PM
Newbie Question.

I have some minor altcoins in my account balance.

How do I change that for Bitcoin?

Also, I have USD in my account balance. How do I change that to BTC so I can use that BTC to trade?

Appreciate the help.

JH
I guess you have those altcoins in an exchange? If you don't, find an exchange which accepts the coin you have. Send your coins to that exchange and trade it/buy bitcoins with it.
You can buy btc with your USD the same way as alt. Just look for something like btc/usd.
6556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: May 20, 2017, 10:35:35 AM
The most important part is gambling can win you instant and fast money. Easy money is most likely to ruin you. Easy money hardly stays.
Some main reasons why it gets hard for people to give up gambling. They think it easy, instant and fast money. They end up losing their initial deposit. They think they can get back what they lost very easily and then ends up suffering from more losses. And that's how the cycle goes on and find it hard to give up their gambling addiction.
6557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does this community use bitcoin? on: May 20, 2017, 10:20:53 AM
I mostly got into bitcoin cause it seemed kind of interesting. Here i mostly use Bitcoin as legitimate currency to store wealth and make day to day small transactions just like i would do with a fiat currency. It's much easier and faster.
But as far as i know most people out there take bitcoin as a form of investment where they can make some quick profit and get it back to fiat when it's the right time.
6558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: May 20, 2017, 07:44:05 AM
This is just a thought, but do some employers pay their employees in bitcoins? I'm not quite sure if this would be legal, but potentially this could be a thing of the future.
Yeah some people do pay their employees in bitcoin. Check bitwage. It is a bitcoin international wage payment system where the employers pays the employees in bitcoin. But different countries and states have different legal laws. I read it somewhere when paying the value of the bitcoin can never go below the minimum payment wages. But as long as the taxman gets their share nobody actually cares.
6559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What u think will happen if Amazon would accept BTC? on: May 20, 2017, 07:33:35 AM
It already is accepting BTC as mode of payment but not directly on their website instead you can use your wallet on purchasing products and I think availing their Amazon gift cards.
Well that's a different thing. Amazon accepting/including bitcoin as an direct option to make purchases would be a whole different story. But using third party sites to buy amazon gift cards does not mean that amazon is accepting bitcoins. We can also buy prepaid gift cards for other online shops like ebay and playstore. That does not mean that they are accepting bitcoin.
6560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Likely to Hit $3,500 This Year, How true is that? on: May 19, 2017, 08:27:55 PM
Bitcoin Price Likely to Hit $3,500 This Year, How true is that?
It might go that high but we can not assure that. We can't predict furture, can we? No one knew back then that the price would go that high. If someone wrong happens we might see the price fall down to $350 instead which is highly unlikely to happen though. We need to overcome some problems that are currently holding back bitcoin.

Just as we were thinking nothing will be powerful enough to stop the rise in the Bitcoin price, we had a major negative event that pushed down
the price. {WanaCry Malware linked to Bitcoin}
Ransomewares like WannaCry won't have much impact on bitcoin to be honest. Sometimes bad publicity is good  Wink
