561  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: December 22, 2019, 02:29:23 AM
Bad mistake I made in crypto currency and make me poor is keep holding my asset have higher price, I faith because my asset could raised to higher price and I keep hold it until all of my asset do not have price and drop.
The same this is most mistakes happen in me by holding the coins at a higher price aiming to earn big profit. We did not think that price could drops very low so the next time we must think of be wise enough so we can earn.
Holding can sometimes lead us to have losses, I do not prefer holding unless if we are holding potential cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum. I experience to lose big amount of money because of holding a shitcoin. I called it as a shitcoin because its ROI are now reached negative -98%. Before we hold make sure that our portfolio consists of solid coins.
562  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: December 22, 2019, 01:19:40 AM
I think that the bottom was reached at 3k and we'll gradually go up from here. When a price hits certain level and bounces back to where it came from like it did at 6400 it indicates a strong bottom, so just like 3k was the bottom after the high of 20k 6k is the bottom after the high of 14k we had this year. We'll keep taking higher lows in 2020. The next bubble after the halving. Maybe in Winter of 2020?
There are many posts that I keep seeing about the halving. The experts says that it will lead to bitcoin to reach the moon where it can beat it previous all time high. I do not easily believe in someone claims because for me fundamental and sentimental analysis are not effective. I only rely on technical analysis because it is the analysis that is effective to me.
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: December 21, 2019, 01:42:36 PM
Before judge stop loss you have to know about "life saver" that you wrote on the topic title. Because stop loss only will save life (life of fund actually), but I will not improve. Means you can't get profit more than stop loss that you have been settings. For this reason we can call life saver to stop loss. I won't consider it as a evil although I got REKT so many times. But who know what is going on upcoming times. Stop loss, could save your fund from huge loss although you can't make huge profits. We should realize that something is better than nothing. Instead of become loser why not just saty stable with stop loss. But I know everyone have different opinions and they would be right as well, I respects everyone's legit opinions.

I wanna remind Newton's law,
Quote
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
So for stop loss would be same, it would works differently for every each person. That's means you are also right from your end although some other would not agree with.
Stop loss is very important in terms of trading, we should consider placing our stop loss before the trade. The reason why it called stop loss is simply because to lessen our losses. There are many way of setting up a cut loss. There are people who placing it before the support level, before the breakout or a percentage stop. Having a stop loss in every trade can be considered as a good risk management.
564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Crypto Pump Island a scam or legit? on: December 21, 2019, 11:58:16 AM
I have seen groups like this on discord, telegram and viber, cant say about authenticity but some in them give out signals based on news. which can be done by yourself if you are smart enough to follow right twitter handles and be attentive. I dont use groups who ask for membership fees because they can vanish anytime.
Dump and pump group is not a reliable source of information, it is funny because there are still people who joining and believing to it. Newbies are keep joining in that kind of group due to misconceptions and greediness. It id just a waste of money and time because most of the pump and dump groups need a payment before you able to join. We should rely on ourselves and it is the best way to avoid scam projects like pump and dump group.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 21, 2019, 10:58:28 AM
It is really true that scammers are becoming more smarter than before and that's they keep victiming innocent people. The victims have also liability to their selves because they let themselves to be scammed. If the scammers are becoming more smarter then as a investor, we should also be a smart person who can identify the scam projects in the market.
566  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anung dapat nating tandaan, at dapat maging maingat ngaung darating na pasko on: December 21, 2019, 03:55:56 AM
Sabi nga ng isang tv network saatin ay "think before you click".
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 21, 2019, 02:50:56 AM
I do not have enough plan to sell my bitcoins just to buy vhristmas gifts. This month is the month of giving so I will give back to the people in my community but I will use fiat currencies and not my bitcoins to buy gifts. Why I will sell my bitcoins when its price is very low but if the price of bitcoin is currently high then I do not mind if I will sell it just to buy gifts and give to other people.
568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 20, 2019, 09:10:54 AM
trading has been a difficult process for novices and minor traders. it could be tempting most times if you dont understand the market movement and TA. you might loose patience and cancel out a trade you might regret later. i have cancel out many trades that later ended up in huge profits. i have also cancel some successfully. i just curious to know if there is any sure way to this trading were by you hold on a trade.
It was hard for me to understand at first but I suggest creating a strategy and plan that allows you to know when you'll exit with profit or with loss before executing the trade. It does not matter how long your trade takes. time is arbitrary and you don't control the market. set up a trade and wait for it to either hit your take profit or stop loss. sometimes the move you expect takes 10 minutes sometimes it takes 10 days or 10 weeks. If you don't have patience you are going to have a bad time.
As a trader, I personally wait for the market to fluctuates before I make a trade though it takes a lot of time I do still wait for it. In this kind of market, patience is the key because you will never know what and when the markets make a move. Having a strategy or plan upon your trade would be the best to do in this kind of work. Besides, as a trader you are ought to monitor the market or have a notification about the market.
I'm a day trader and I have holding period of just 5 days. I do not hold for a long time because for me it is wasting of time. If my trade did not materialize then I will let go the coins that I have and I will find another coin that I can trade. There are a lot of opportunities in market and why I will let myself to hold a coin that can make my portfolio have a losses.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: December 20, 2019, 07:51:18 AM
To grow your assets you should first protect it. Successful traders and investors protect their assets and funds first before they multiply it. Proper risk management can help us to protect our assets and funds. Diversify your funds where you will not put all of your eggs in one basket. Put your funds in few investment and it can help you to protect and manage to grow your funds.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for a recession... Gold or Bitcoin? on: December 20, 2019, 05:58:07 AM
I would hold a basket of assets, if I had the ability too and of course gold would certainly be in my portfolio. Silver is also going to be another good asset to hold as well and could be the cheaper option for those who cannot hoard hoards of gold. Bitcoin is great as well as you can start with very small amounts, depending on the size of your pocket. For now we trade more with my Wife so we can hedge against inflation and also the volatility of gold and bitcoin prices in general and the devaluation of FIAT. I THINK RIGHT NOW IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO STAY AHEAD OF THE GAME, TO KEEP MAKING AND TAKING PROFITS. We learned this great lesson the hard way, after we lost all we made in 2015-2018 in the bear market.
In terms of recession, it is good to accumulate assets and it is by buying gold. Bitcoin is also a asset but it is speculative asset. I prefer gold in terms of recession because it is a safe investment that you can do to survive to avoid the next recession. There are many assets vehicle that you should invest like the real estate and also in the stock market.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of you Bitcoin Hodlers are mentally ill - *Must Read! on: December 19, 2019, 04:02:58 PM
Holder mentally have been strong because many investor not ready when bitcoin have lower price, they will frustrated when looking bitcoin have lower price because buy bitcoin with higher price, just few people and investor have ready for investing with bitcoin or altcoin and ready faced with moment when bitcoin have lower price because every investing have risk.
When the price of the bitcoin is still not reached thousand dollar per each, I can say that holding is good. Today there are many hodlers who still have enough patience even though they lose a lot of money from bitcoin. I know it is hard to let go into something that you have high hope. Hodlers should have limitation and they should be aware on cut loss for them to minimize their losses.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: December 19, 2019, 09:41:21 AM
For us to become a successful trader we should overcome the laziness that we have. In order to overcome the laziness we need to be a little greed. Desires are good because it motivates us to get what we want but not too much greed because it is bad and it can lead to lose. If we have a little greed then our mind will think on what should we do in order to become a successful adn profitable trader.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: December 19, 2019, 07:08:45 AM
Most of us can be considered as risk taker because we adopt bitcoin. We are the early birds which means that we are the first investors who patronize bitcoin and it is the benefits that we get from it. Overcoming fear is really hard and that is why we are very lucky because we still make investment even though there is a high risk in cryptocurrency market.
574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: December 19, 2019, 03:08:37 AM
Reading is the first step for successful trading, you need to know allot of things in order to make profit regularly in trading. Also people use different strategies as some are aggressive and try every experiment and some do long term holding. Also be careful of sudden pumps or dumps of Bitcoin as alts will go down whenever there is a fluctuation.
It's about the type of risk that each traders wanted to take and how they can manage to take care of each responsibilities. Traders with high hope keeps being optimistic and will continue finding the right ways. Don't rush everything  as time will allow you to learned the right system that will be beneficials with your stay inside the trading market. Wild but profitable once you learned the right attitude when investing to this business.
I'd like to the way you say "Don't Rush". People rush to Bitcoin investment because they are too optimistic about being profitable and instantly get their returns. But this is also a reason for their losses. Why? Because most of them never know exactly what they are doing. However, it is to believe that luck might be there and even they lose but still they stand cause of their trust in crypto and hoping to have luck in the next round.
There are people who are rushing in terms of investment. I have a friend where he recently became aware to bitcoin and he rushed to make his first investment. The result is obvious and it is loss, he didn't consider the risks and he rush to buy bitcoins. Before we invest something, we should first invest in learning because we can use this learning to multiply our money.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: December 19, 2019, 01:33:03 AM
We all seem to believe that gambling is a source to earn money. But as we experience several failures, losses and hardships, we're stopping on that very point. And if I have no time to waste, certainly I'll be doing other things than gambling but we just can't remove this activity if you've grown into this.
You gamble when you have free time and you have a few bucks to spend.
Actually it's easy to find a free time in gambling, what matters most is the availability of money you have for gambling, if you have that then you should gamble but always be discipline to risk only what you plan to. Sometimes we only set a limit on the amount to lose but we should also look at the bright side, what if we win, when are we going to stop? we should know that answer and we should know how to stop.
Sometimes it's not, especially if you become a busy person managing several appointments, businesses and you are committed to your job. And when it's your time to rest, you will choose to do nothing than to gamble so that's the situation of others that I understand and it is actually happening in real life. The point of stopping when you win is also a good call and advise because if we're winning, we don't have a stopover and we tend to gamble more because we feel that we're very lucky and nothing can stop us from that moment.
There is a saying that "life is meant to enjoyed" so there are people who gamble for fun and not for profession. I gamble my money for entertainment because sometimes I got bored in my house so gambling for me is to kill time. I do not think that I will see gambling as my profession because I'm sure that I will become addicted. There are things that I need to focus so I only see gambling as a game for me to put away my stress.
576  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin all over the Philippines on: December 18, 2019, 04:43:54 PM
Will not mention specific places pero still glad to know na we are eager to adapt.

Meron akong nabasang quote about sa financial market so kasama na dito yung stocks pati cryptocurrency market.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: December 18, 2019, 10:57:38 AM
If we are basing who would win based on the previous match I will be choosing Wilder to win this second bout especially if you consider that he knocked down Fury twice one of which Fury was lucky to be standing in. Fury might have dominated the entirety of the match but with Wilder's power and endurance you know the match can stop at anytime when Wilder wants it to happen. I also like Wider to win solely because it makes his chances facing AJ more higher and that match is something I would like to see especially when both boxers have beef with each other and have dodge each other for a long time now. This time they will be two top heavyweights facing each other in the ring and it will be bigger than AJ vs. Ruiz 2.

That's true it's not over for a guy who can knock out his opponent and a guy with a knock out punch can end it anytime if he sees a good opening, Fury is a good technical fighter, but Wilder can always train to see an opening and he only needs one punch to end the match, on the second match I favor Wilder to win by knock out.
If the rematch will happen then I will go for Wilder again. I won on my last bet between their fight. The right hand of Wilder is so deadly and it is the reason why he has 41 KOs. He's style is so different that he can easily overwhelmed the style of fury. Fury is strong but he cannot handle the power and the strength of Wilder so it is obvious that Wilder will win again via KO.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs stock markets on: December 18, 2019, 07:03:06 AM
The Question:
Wich way is more profit?
Crypto or stock market?

What are other ways to get good profits besides crypto?
depend on your capacity to understand the meaning of profiteering.

you can be good in stocks but also can be in crypto.

stock market is existing for longer time so i know that there are too many involvements compared to crypto investing, but we also knew how huge can be gain here if we will get the perfect timing on when to invest and when to withdraw.
right, everything depends on yourself. we are more in control of the stock market or cryptocurrency. of course the characteristics of the two are different, where cryptocurrency is more at risk due to large fluctuations, but with cryptocurrency can provide a large return too
Stock market and cryptocurrency market are have different levels of risks. You should only trade if your knowledge is enough and if you can handle the risks. The cryptocurrencies are more volatile so as a beginner it is better to trade in stock market firsts. The trading setups and strategies are also different because the level of the risks are not same.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ? on: December 18, 2019, 05:39:55 AM
In depends on the purpose of the investors, as a investor who is a risk taker; I prefer bitcoin in long term investment. I'm aware to the risks and the reason why I choose it because the potential reward is too high. Those investor who want safe and secure investment, then they should invest in gold than bitcoin. There money are safe but the rewards that they can get is only low.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 18, 2019, 04:26:40 AM
Ideally, you should never invest in anonymous altcoins, because they will have no real value in the future. Most anonymous projects are not of the interest of investors as well as people around the world. Please focus on investing in other altcoins like ETH, XLM, BNB, LTC ... these are altcoins that are most interested in and hold, so if the bull run occurs these are altcoins that will increase the most. In addition, you can choose altcoins with low market capitalization and gain IEO in big exchanges like Binance and Okex ... These are potential altcoins in the future
There are also altcoins that are good to purchase, my portfolio is consisting of bitcoins and different altcoins like Ethereum, Xrp and Monero. I buy altcoins because it also good for day trading. There are a lot of opportunities in terms of day trading and I can make profit in its swing low and swing high. But not all of times are easily to win in trading, there are also a time that the market is so bad and it is tough to win in trading.
