561  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptomine.io - SHA-256 & Scrypt Unlimited Mining Contracts on: December 08, 2014, 04:10:37 PM
The reward information on your website is incorrect, it's showing as 0.00001720 BTC Gh per day. At the current difficulty, the theoretical reward  should be 0.00001257 BTC per Gh per day before maintenance costs.
562  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 08, 2014, 03:51:30 PM
I've got my first payout too. Becuse I've got few PM's asking what is my experience with cloudmining.website here is my story so far:
Usinng black friday promo I bought 260GH for 0.2BTC (10% (20GH) was given extra by CM.W, 20% extra my friend returned to me (0.04BTC) and I bought another 40GH)

Invested:
0.2BTC/260GH, average ~0.0077BTC/10GH

Payment #1:
0.01463184BTC, average ~0.00008039BTC/10GH/day

ROI:
7.31%/1week, average ~1.044%/day
expected 100% in ~100 days

This is first payment, I'll update my experience and ROI progress at another payment. So, stay tuned Wink

Given that your sig says "no hidden fees", where is the rest of your payout?

They no longer claim to have "no hidden fees" by the way but they still refuse to tell you what their fees actually are. So, they can actually pay you whatever they feel like.
563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io - not legit at all? on: December 08, 2014, 03:13:48 PM
Better to stay away from AM hash.

1. Their payment is 55%-65% of the ideal amount.

AMHash has maintenance costs. Miners are not magical devices powered by hopes and dreams, they require electricity to run. Electricity costs money. AMHash's fees are precisely stated and are actually a fair bit cheaper than other legitimate services. Of course, if you compare AMHash to a ponzi service that makes ridiculously unrealistic claims such as having 5 year contracts, lowest initial cot in the industry and no maintenance/electricity/hidden fees, then of course the ponzi service is going to seem like a better deal. Right up until they run away your money.

Are your payments for the correct amount?
565  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 08, 2014, 04:55:26 AM
Because he has good rank in Mining sites and he must not accept to lose that.

Most of those review sites are specifically set up to push their referral links and don't even include cloud mining services offered directly by ASIC manufacturers. Ranking on sites like that is irrelevant.
566  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 08, 2014, 04:12:01 AM
I have 4500 GH/s and my current balance is 0.00576576 which is around 1/10 or 10% of where I would expect for a full day.

BUT ... I'm still prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt until I hear from them that I should be worried.

All I've seen so far is a load of hotheaded reaction and conclusions leapt to without any solid evidence.

Let PBM come to the table and explain to us what is actually going on.

We know what's going on, they're running a ponzi. That's why they flat-out refuse to provide any evidence of legitimacy.

Read up on Bitcoin Difficulty Derivative (BDD) and you will learn how to operate a cloud mining service without needing actual miners. This is why it is absolutely essential for cloud mining operators to provide evidence of their legitimacy.

BDD basically has 2 components, MINE and SELL. SELL has always been vastly more profitable (B.MINE=71.87% vs B.SELL=874.51% yield on Havelock) due to the size of the difficulty increases. Now, imagine running a service like that and keeping the SELL component for yourself and only allowing people to purchase the MINE component. That is essentially how you run a cloud mining ponzi.

Cloud mining ponzis like that will collapse once the difficulty increases drop below a certain threshold. With the recent low difficulty increases, some of the ponzi schemes may not have paid out as much as expected due to the above.

It's obvious what's going on, people just don't want to believe it though.
567  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 08, 2014, 03:49:35 AM
Here's the response to those questions:

All we can say is that the main components of miners (ASIC chips and PCB boards) come directly from the manufacturer in China with an order quantity discount. We cannot reveal more specific details such as prices and the manufacturer due to agreements we had to agree on to get the deals.

We don't have a pool of our own, as mentioned previously - our hashing power is split between the main pools except for KnCMiner.

Following our twitter will be enough to verify us for most, however we are open to suggestions about 3rd party verification.

We have the same fee policy as our main competitors - no fees. Doing that has certain risks but so does everything in regards to Bitcoin. The risks are likely lower than for others because our electricity costs are extremely low, however we have no information regarding our competitors energy costs. If we wanted to ask for electricity costs, our cost per GH/s would have to go lower causing a lot of doubt about us and we would have to explain the reasons over and over again. This is much simpler and less frustrating for everyone.

Can anybody tell me what Chinese companies sell bitcoin ASICs?  Cheesy

568  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 08, 2014, 02:46:46 AM
Here we go again.

"Here we go again, lunatics asking for evidence."  Roll Eyes
"Why can't they take it on blind faith that this incredibly suspicious service will continue paying them for 5 years without any maintenance fees?"  Roll Eyes

People will only stop asking for this evidence once it is provided and nobody should have bought into these services without such evidence in the first. Whatever happens with these companies is all of their own making and they can put a stop to these question quite easily if they are legitimate.

Refusing to provide the evidence simply harms their business, so it's a logical conclusion that they're not legitimate.

Fine, you´re not gonna buy. Good for you.

And hopefully, newcomers won't buy from companies like this either until they stop acting so scammy and provide some evidence of legitimacy.

It seems very reasonable

here´s one contract

30-11-2014 50 GH/s 0.00431717 BTC

That's 98% of the theoretical payout. So, why is that percentage considerably different from last weeks payout? The only reasonable explanation for that difference is that they're paying out from blocks mined like CEX.io and it's just variance. So, have any of your payments been above theoretical value and what blocks have Cloudminr mined.

Why would cloud miner refuse to provide evidence of mined blocks? And if all your payments are under theoretical value then that's rather suspicious wouldn't you say?

Is this the start of ceaseless scaremongering and hate campaign that will last for months or even years until enough customers have been driven away and the co. gives up ? The model looks familiar already.

These companies are bringing the shit down upon themselves by refusing to provide the requested evidence - evidence that any legitimate company would readily provide.
571  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: December 08, 2014, 12:53:04 AM
AMHash is just too expensive service that runs on outdated and not efficient hardware so do not compare it with terabox

Really? I'd say Spondoolies has the the most efficient ASIC but it's not that much more efficient than AM's. That's an Israeli company too. Their hardware is also more expensive than AM's so it would cost more to build a mine using it and the upfront costs would be greater than AMHash's. Also, hosting and electricity costs in Israel are apparently expensive as fuck according to Spondoolies PR guy:

We're working with various partners with excellent technical skills and the ability to maintain the SP30 at peak efficiency.
It's the long term solution anyhow, because the electricity cost in Israel is way too expensive.
Hosting with us should be considered a short term solution for few months. For the long tail, it makes much more sense to host elsewhere.

I'll ask Spondoolies if they've provided you with any hardware. If you're not using Spondoolies ASICs, then what ASICs are you using that are so much cheaper and so much more efficient than AMs?

Having higher price per GHS and maintenance fee just means you will charge more and you can run away with more BTC and no one can do shit about it, not saying it will happen just that it could.

AM don't charge a high price for their hardware though. They're one of the cheapest suppliers when it comes to cost per Gh and the cloud mining service reflects that. I'm not saying they're impossible to beat on price, and just saying it's highly unlikely that some no-name, no reputation company that refuses to provide any evidence of legitimacy is going to do so.
572  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 08, 2014, 12:26:33 AM
So, what was the payment like this week? Was it short again? Given the difficulty decrease, you should have got more than last week. Is that the case?
573  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: December 07, 2014, 05:59:15 PM
Yea, FAQ, I know what it says there, it doesn't say "5 year contracts" and then all assume it's another PB mining. It says what I explained. If you do not wish to sell it sooner it will expire after 5 years and this is a big difference.

No, there isn't a big difference, but claiming it lasts for 5 years assumes it will me making a profit for 5 years which it won't.

Price at what we buy them back is some 5% less than cheapest current rate and consider this as maintenance fee. Sure there are expenses involved, it's decided that we do not wish to bother customers with this.

The daily theoretical payout for 1 Gh/s is given by the equation:

Payout = Hash Rate * Block Reward * 86400 * ((65535 / 2^48 ) / Difficulty)

which gives:

1*10^9 * 25 * 86400 * ((65535 / 2^48 ) / 40007470271) = 0.00001257 BTC per Gh per day.

AMHash gets ASICMiner hardware at cost and sells hashing power for 0.0012 BTC per Gh/s and charges $0.00163 per Gh per day in maintenance fees. At 376 $/BTC, that's 0.00000434 BTC per Gh per day. That's a third of the payout. How can you just not bother customers with that? You must be taking massive losses and if that's the case then how long could that go on?
574  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: December 07, 2014, 04:38:38 PM
what 5 year contracts? Why everyone here is mentioning them, this is not PB mining. Contracts bought here can be sold back to the site, just depends what kind of contract you bought. Cheapest type per GHS in monthly and it can be sold after 60 days while manual payout ones can be sold back right after you purchase them...

It's not like with others that you buy 5 year contract, and after 5 or whatever time it expires and you can't do anything about it. You can mine with your contract for few months, weeks... and then sell it back instantly and withdraw your funds.

The ones in your FAQ:

Quote
For how long is contract active?

By default contract are set to expire automatically after 5 years but you can sell them back to us sooner than that if you wish.

How much do you buy them back for? And how do you manage to not have maintenance or electricity fees? Anyone who knows anything about mining knows that's nonsense. What ASICs are you mining with? Where's your evidence that you're actually mining and have the hash rate you say you have?
575  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Growth of Bitcoin Mining Network slows to 0.5% per day. on: December 07, 2014, 03:08:21 PM
ASICMINER are expecting their 4th gen 28nm samples back around the 16th December.

Update

Some details of BE300:

Process: tsmc 28nm hpc

Package: fclga (5mm x 5mm)

Normal Mode:
    0.7v vdd
    6gh/s per chip
8gh/s-12gh/s per chip for mass production
    0.343w/g on chip
~0.3w/g on chip for mass production

Low Power Mode:
    0.55v vdd
    4.5gh/s per chip
6gh/s-9gh/s per chip for mass production
    0.225w/g on chip
~0.2w/g on chip for mass production

The schedule of BE300 producing: First batch production will be done next Feb.

Spondoolies have also said that their 3rd gen 28nm ASIC should be available late Q1 2015 and should have be around 0.2 J/Gh. BitFury have also said their next gen ASIC will also be around 0.2 J/Gh but I haven't heard any time frame for them. KNC's claims seem like fantasy to me as well.

The ASIC manufacturers will all be providing cloud mining services next year as well, with both ASICMiner, Bitmain and KNC already doing so, and Spondoolies saying they'll likely do so too.
576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io - not legit at all? on: December 07, 2014, 02:31:02 PM
It's hard to find real cloud mining now.

It's not that hard. Just get your cloud hashing direct from the ASIC manufacturers.
577  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 07, 2014, 01:45:21 PM
Looking at the AM hash thread, it is quiet evident, that you guys have failed to compete with PB mining, cloudmining.website etc. and having hard time in keeping your sales alive Cheesy

If you take a look at the PB mining thread you'll see what a ponzi in the process of collapsing looks like. Even Galdur has realised how wrong he has been, saying the following:

At least i paid enough attention to you wankers to stop buying early last month.

I most sincerely apologize for all the rudeness, that´s all I can say.

For those looking to purchase cloud mining and are looking for genuine overview of the legitimacy of such services, then check out this thread of Puppet's. Don't be fooled by Ponzis like cloudmining.website.

No this is a myth character and able to turn $ into shit Smiley not much historical, could be a modern myth for crypto currency market. Think Midas, this one doing vice versa

i'm not getting that Homero thing is Homero: Josh Garza???

is it a joke of some kind, someone please explain...Huh

Homero is a myth character, we are just imaging it. No connection with Gaw and Josh Garza. Thanks for asking smarty

Do you mean the Ancient Greek Homer? If so, he was a real person.

Anyone else noticed how he had a 'Payday' written in a bitcoin address, how do u make that? is that a service? or just pure lottery luck, never seen anyone else with a custom address
