561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2710 Thomes Ave Cheyenne, WY 82001 on: October 14, 2011, 04:13:46 AM
I want to quote and pick apart some of your text, but it would only be for the lulz.   I figured you were noagendamarket way way early on, but then every other thing made me think otherwise, so it is funny it has now come around full circle and I feel a little less insane.  But obviously I am still nuts, I do like Bitcoin.

I am not sorry at all for asking any questions I have asked so far, not at all, I am sorry you or whoever is with you guys sees a potential customer as some sort of enemy, just for asking questions.   If your friend is worried about his security that much because of things he deals with, then, he needs to deal with it, not hide from it.  Otherwise he should find another business if the gold market is that crazy.

Glad some kind of answers are coming out though, honestly, sorry you feel some of this was forced, but please take a step back and look at the launch, then re-launch of Cryto X, the companies, people, and currencies it wants to deal with, and just the bullshit drama surrounding those things alone.  I mean, just claiming at all you are going to work with SolidCoin causes people to hate.  Obviously you know the Bruce thing.  Shit happens, you got dealt a bad hand as far as those things, but it sure doesn't help having a million other shady things going on, yet Crypto X keeps us all constantly full of tons of info.

I am sorry for whatever stresses these issues are causing you, but try not to direct blame on people not wanting to get ripped off again and again, we can all work together and shit.  I can fully give benefit of the doubt and see your side, I won't agree it was handled well, and is the cause of a lot of this, but I also hope you can see that people get fucked with in this and many Bitcoin communities a lot, you know first hand.

The formation that is going on with Coinabul, CryptoXChange, and BitcoinMedia does not sit well for some reason. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=48055.msg573519#msg573519 ?

565  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Create a game that accepts Bitcoin for currency on: October 14, 2011, 12:23:36 AM
Give me a Zelda clone where rupees are Bitcoin.

When you die, continue where you left off after you pay token/bitcents, which you could have possibly earned in game.

I think the natural ease of earlier levels and building up Bitcoin would feel good and the challenges would be more rewarding as they get harder.

The only way I could see this particular made up game working is if the user is not allowed to 'cash out' any built up coins until they beat the game.  So basically no one would just replay the earlier and easier levels over and over.

You could figure out the math on the possible max amount of coins a person could get versus the costs to play etc.     There would be some math to work out, but I could see a game like this being profitable, fun, plus engaging to the user to keep them playing for longer.    No more spin the wheel in the Bitcasino, but something a person would want to play after a day of work or school or something.

If you have any sense of humor in your body, edit your first post to look as real as possible, and ask people for donations to use as the funding for the One (1) Bitcoin prize lol
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 0.1% guys hold 50% Bitcoins, that's too CENTRALIZED! on: October 13, 2011, 11:50:04 PM
That's physical aggression. A punch is threatening an organism's ability to sustain itself. A burst of sound waves can only be perceived in various ways of an organism's choosing. It does not directly aggress against nor threaten a being's life support systems.

I think you misused the word "choosing" where it should lean more toward some sort of 'learned' process or thought or etc.    We do not choose the environments around us that build our realities, we have no choice in how we take in those sound waves.

Now what we do with that information, that is up to you.  The same however is said for the punch, you can, mind over matter that and feel no pain.  That is fact.   Then the argument could be made that there has to be a point where you cannot deny the physical aggression hitting yourself, but I also argue that the exact same can be said based on words used and how a person is able to withstand the reality of how those words were used around them when they were a child.

It now comes down to the intent of the punch.    And along those lines it comes down to intent of the sound waves.

Or it now comes down to, you have to learn to take a punch, and you have to learn to take in peoples bullshit and know it means nothing, even though it feels different sometimes.     It does suck though that the punch a 30 year old man took to learn may not effect people as badly as these kids using these slang terms with no care  or full understanding on the meaning behind them.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin will succeed ? on: October 13, 2011, 10:51:51 PM
And the rate seems to be growing.  2 months from now, after 6 more alt-chains have been released... will anyone even remember the previous ones?
I will say it's going to suck that I think there are people really invested in alternative coins, but no one will stop and think of the overall picture and how none of them will succeed if they don't at least one slip past and become that penny to the Bitcoin nickel.

So far NameCoin is the most impressive in the sense that it is like an energizer bunny.  No one makes claims about how it is technologically better than any other coin, but maybe just for the fact it didn't have to deal with the people in this subforum that it 'made it' lol
569  Economy / Goods / Re: No prescription, no hassles- bitcoins for meds. Keep it simple. on: October 13, 2011, 10:47:30 PM
PM sent!

Just wanted to say thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I am talking with the person who needs those, who ended up having a lot right now.  It seems they already went the alternate route to get their meds and have a package from the Muhi Trading Corporation from Mumbai lol.   Still, your service seems good and I hope to use it one day, good luck.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to NameCoin?! Since Protect IP Act is coming?! on: October 13, 2011, 10:37:41 PM
What or who is a smoothie?  I know I have seen that named mentioned before, but I honestly have no clue who he or she is off the top of my head and I prefer not to search until after I make the post, I like testing my memory.

Edit:  I only kind of remember smoothie https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=25960;sa=showPosts    I'm guessing just started using a different user name at that point.

Also, what happened to OldMiner, did that person end up being another user or did these forums just annoy him too much?

SolidCoin comment was a joke.

The NameCoin profit thing, I wish I could find a specific link, but I swear I hear that echoed around when I see NameCoin mentioned.  Not that it couldn't function as a currency, but it wasn't the initial intention, of course the word "Coin" is in the name, but still.  If this is true, I wonder what the pros and cons of taking something established and making a currency around it.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get paid Bitcoins to post about other Currencies on: October 13, 2011, 10:26:14 PM
Now, if the people in this subforum were to organize themselves and actually situate themselves onto your forums, would you be able to pay us all out in a timely fashion?
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin 2 victory! on: October 13, 2011, 10:00:48 PM
If there is a personal connection between CH and CryptoXchange I will find it. Cryptoxchange is a proper registered business and will have an e-trail to follow. Colin and Ken Armitt are real people with real histories.

We will know soon enough.
There are many trails regarding that site to just be curious about imo.   My only issues are people controlling media sites that have any affiliation with, well anything.   Like The Founder / Flexcoin, I know he is proud of controlling some media sites along with his Bitcoin bank, good for him I guess.

Extra stuff, David Hollis is associated with CryptoxChange http://www.linkedin.com/pub/david-hollis/3b/6a3/880 based on the CryptoxChange posterous site http://posterous.com/users/hgzRN2wwy3tPQ#activities/page/1

Posterous is the site that hosts BitcoinMedia.com along with IXCoins.com.  Before anyone makes too many connections or anything with this, posterous is nothing more than a Wordpress or tumblr back end, except with way less features.

Where is noagendamarket https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41314.20 ?

Where is my Bruce Wagner CryptoXchange launch video?
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin 2 victory! on: October 13, 2011, 09:37:51 PM
My, you're getting quite defensive at such a small connection.
Everybody here better hope for your own sake that you can do something so significant in someone elses life to turn them into as much of a fanboy viperjbm is.   I do not mean this as an insult either.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin 2 victory! on: October 13, 2011, 09:27:23 PM
Wow, whole lot of connections
Something is going on behind the scenes with that site, and I wish it was good, but it sure doesn't feel that way.

BitcoinEXpress, a re-re-announce? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=43653.0
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fact is Bitcoin is dangerous. They know. on: October 13, 2011, 09:13:48 PM
Its just some dood that wanted to drop the difficulty some, and to retaliate against pool owners for not letting his bnet mine on their pools. (This is fact.)

I read something very similar elsewhere, I think that is all it is.   Just in case though for the rest of you, use this

and this
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the Occupy movement not immediately embracing bitcoin? on: October 13, 2011, 09:06:02 PM
I have been trying to promote bitcoin a bit on facebook and other pages for the 15th october global protest...

Isn't what the protesters want, exactly down to almost the tiniest detail, what bitcoin will offer?

Everything but trust and security with the other users.  I slowed recommending Bitcoin to anyone I know big time until a lot of those things get resolved, which I am not sure there is necessarily solutions to all the security issues.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to NameCoin?! Since Protect IP Act is coming?! on: October 13, 2011, 09:02:32 PM
From what I gather from the forums here, NameCoin is not a profitable coin overall, and it wasn't intended to be as such by design anyways, and also it is not nearly as safe and secure as SolidCoin, is this correct?

Please provide as much information to back up your claims as possible, thanks!
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin 2 victory! on: October 13, 2011, 08:46:51 PM
Or they are aware and have been fed propaganda by SC sentinels, in which they're displaying spectacularly poor decision making skills... which leads me back to there's no way in hell I'm depositing anything there.

I personally would stay away from them https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=43908.0

But I just lost Bitcoin to this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=47325.0 , so what do I know Cheesy

Oh wait, I think along with being Goxed, I'm an expert
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin will succeed ? on: October 13, 2011, 08:43:14 PM
I'd say -most- of the support for any current alt-chain is fueled by pure speculation.
Well worded, I agree.   I am trying to think of the other factors that would motivate people toward any of these coins.   Something about the technology no doubt would sway a person.  Spite, never underestimate the power of seeing someone e-hurt as some sick form of motivation.   I hope there are more reasons.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: October 13, 2011, 08:23:54 PM
I was going to put my hard ass > 1kh/s to try this new pool, but it seems Litecoin has frozen my computer.  This is the second time.  Using the latest windows client.  No error messages, nothing else was running on the computer.   Same comp was running fine last night.
