561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investment in gambling on: February 03, 2024, 08:19:04 AM
Some persons says gambling is not an investment due to its risky levels but a game of entertainment while some persons says investments are likely to be gambling because you don't foresee the future and can't predict the later outcome.
If you are a gambler, gambling is not an investment. If you invest on a gambling platform, that is an investment. If you have a bankroll investment, that is also an investment. But as a gambler and you are gambling, that is foolishness if seen s an investment.

Ponzi and pyramidal schemes are investment means to scam. They are created in a way some people which are late investors will lose. So we can say it is a scam, not gambling.  Ponzi scheme is a scam.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin ETF really the best to hold? on: February 03, 2024, 08:11:58 AM
Bitcoin ETF is not bitcoin but an asset that has the spot price of bitcoin. The best to hold for me is bitcoin and not bitcoin ETF because I will prefer to hold what I have complete control over.

and in many years when its time to sell you dont suffer capital gains so another X% saving, because its in a pension scheme
All I know is that everything is taxed in USA. You mean that those that hold bitcoin ETF shares will not later be taxed if they want to sell it?
563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 02, 2024, 09:05:03 PM
Ain't you going to work? Ain't you going for other things outside your home? You can not always be indoor always and you will just want to go out. Ain't you going to restaurant and other places like that? That is just how land based casinos are.

We are no more in the time of COVID-19. Why are you talking like this?

But for someone that has been advised to stay away from crowdy places, he supposed not to be going to land based casinos. But for a healthy person, it is not bad.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / US wants to know bitcoin electricity usage in the country on: February 02, 2024, 03:18:14 PM
I first saw it in Twitter:

BREAKING:  The Biden Administration has issued an "emergency" data collection initiative to identify the electricity usage of the #Bitcoin mining industry in USA

Then I saw it on the news: https://cointelegraph.com/news/us-crypto-mining-electricity-survey-energy-department

It is a six month mandatory survey.

Let us hope these people are not trying to come up with something.
565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are people still interested in bankroll investment ? on: February 02, 2024, 02:49:25 PM
The question is in the subject  Kiss I’m genuinely just curious if people are still interested in this because I believe it’s a good way to “HODL” your bitcoin.
If it is trustworthy casinos and if the casino is having progress and more customers, then it is not bad. In casinos, as people are gambling, they are more likely to lose than win. That is just the fact. From the losses of people, the casino will pay you interests and you will make money from it. If someone can know a new gambling site, it would be good because it will likely be more profitable. But new gambling site are highly risky and it might even end up as scam. It would be good to make enough research before doing something like this.
566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you invest on this kind of offer? on: February 02, 2024, 12:15:30 PM
Have a better plan than looking for ways to loan. Calling this an investment is wrong because gambling is risky and the money people borrowed you may all be gone to gambling and you will have no other option than to pay from your staked money or your money on air gap wallet.

Have a good plan. Set the money for gambling aside. Do not let it be too much money but small amount of money. Someone thinking about gambling like you may be the start of an addiction. If you disappoints your lenders, I will not be surprised.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction does more harm than mere financial loss on: February 01, 2024, 06:30:54 PM
violence : most gambling addicts are prone to violent behaviors owing to anger issues from much losses and this might greatly affect his relationship with his immediate family and people around him who might start seeing him as a wild animal.
This may be true but I did not experienced it when I was a gambling addict. Although hardly will you notice anything like mood swing from me. But to easily know an addict, you can noticed the gambler mood just change from good to moody all of a sudden.

It is true that gambling addiction can lead to serious funds loss, bankruptcy, unsettled loan involvements, properties auctioning and other irritable financial behaviors that depicts frustration and depression.

We have said it on this forum countless number of times that we should gamble with the money that we can afford to lose.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent have you hated yourself due to your gambling losses? on: February 01, 2024, 06:24:40 PM
I was going through reddit in the early hours of today, and came across a user who lamented bitterly through his post, of how unlucky he has been in gambling in the past few weeks, like almost a month now, he said he bets minimum, twice every day, but have not won a dime for the past weeks, and this made him hate himself so much, I sincerely felt pity for him, for I remember one time I lost a huge sum of money to betting, I felt so bad that I thought of killing myself  Grin.
Many people that are gambling want to make money from gambling. That is where the addiction starts. I have been like the person before, although I gain and lose but my losses are always more. Sometimes I will gain but instead for me to quit for the day, I will continue to gamble and ended the day with losses. If I gain I continue to gamble. If I lose I continue to gamble. That is the problem with addiction. The more you are addicted the more you will just feel like gambling.  He needs to change his mentality about gambling. He should stop gambling with the amount of money that he can not afford to lose.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for February on: February 01, 2024, 01:57:52 PM
Up or down?  Grin
According to what I analyzed from my chart, bitcoin is seen to have gotten to its overbought level at $49000. Although the market has retraced and bitcoin got lower below $40000 before it is at $42193 which is its present price.

The spot ETF fomo and sentiment has gone and nothing much for now until we reach the halving time that we would be expecting bull run some months after.

I do not think the price of bitcoin will that increase and likely it may fall between $30000 and $35000. I do not know when this would happen, but I think it might happen before halving. If it does not happen like two week to halving, it would be good to accumulate at the time.
570  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit refuse to send me back my deposits on: February 01, 2024, 12:07:21 PM
1xbit is not a reputable site on this forum. You can check 1xbit announcement account reputation on this forum and also check the accounts of their past managers on this forum and see how they are all given negative trusts. Do not use that gambling site. Go to gambling board and only use the sites that have positive trust or that do not have negative trust and history of scam.
571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proverbs and Sayings that Act as Triggers to Gambling on: February 01, 2024, 11:58:06 AM
"If you don’t gamble, you won’t know how lucky you are."
I am not a Chinese and also not living in China, but did you think this proverb is talking directly about gambling? Or is talking about how risky life is and that life is more like we are gambling.

In gambling of today which are bookies and casinos, bookies know how to use odds to gain from their users, while casinos have the house edge. I do not think the proverb applies to gamblers because the provide may be the other way around for many gamblers.

My own proverb is 'if you are gambling with just little amount of money that you can afford to lose, you do not know how lucky you are'.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VPN - Differences between countries where gambling is legal and not on: February 01, 2024, 09:58:39 AM
Have you ever used a VPN? because here in our country I have a favorite casino to play gambling at, and it is none other than BcGames, so the only sad thing is that I can't create an account on this platform. It seems that his website is blocked here in our country.

And if their website platform is really blocked here in our country, what good VPN do you think is good to use for someone like me who is in this situation in my country? Thanks for answering if you notice my question.
Before you will use VPN, you need to read about countries the gambling site is not allowing. Example is Bc.game that you mentioned:

5.2. JURISDICTIONS. Persons located in or residents of Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Costa Rica, France, Netherlands, Saba, Statia, St Martin, USA (the ”Prohibited Jurisdictions”) are not permitted make use of the Service. For the avoidance of doubt, the foregoing restrictions on engaging in real-money play from Prohibited Jurisdictions applies equally to residents and citizens of other nations while located in a Prohibited Jurisdiction. Any attempt to circumvent the restrictions on play by any persons located in a Prohibited Jurisdiction or Restricted Jurisdiction, is a breach of this Agreement. An attempt at circumvention includes, but is not limited to, manipulating the information used by BC.GAME to identify your location and providing BC.GAME with false or misleading information regarding your location or place of residence.

6. Know your Customer (“KYC”)

BC.GAME reserves the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a User. BC.GAME reserves the right to restrict service and payment until identity is sufficiently determined.

Make sure that your country is not banned. You know these gambling sites are centralized.

Also make sure the gambling site do not disallow VPN.

If your country is not banned, you can use paid VPN like IPVanish or ExpressVPN. Proton VPN is also good.
573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe visiting a seer or spiritual house could make you win a game? on: January 31, 2024, 07:14:51 PM
Some years ago in my country, a gambler seek for spiritual help to see the result of a match before the match starts. The guy became blind and that was why we read about what he did on the news. If he is not looking for spiritual help to look for money from gambling, he would not have become blind by now. It was a true story.

Some people may seek for spiritual help like astrologers or something related. They will give you the days you can gamble and win more and nothing should be more than that. But we have to be careful. The process of looking for money badly would be the process that something within you will mislead you.

My advise is to just gamble for fun without the help of spirituality.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VPN - Differences between countries where gambling is legal and not on: January 31, 2024, 02:05:00 PM
Example is that gambling is banned in China, but some Chinese are gambling online in foreign countries and also in their country. VPN is used to block the IP used. You will see some gamblers that read the ToS of a gambling site and if VPN is allowed, they might gamble on the site from countries that gambling is not legal. That is just it. This can be common to gambling sites that are not well known and not regulated.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binary Trade Better or Better to Buy and Hold Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2024, 01:46:14 PM
Holding is better and less stressful. It is also not risky like trading. Losses in holding are unrealized unlike trading as traders accept their losses very early or facing trading asset liquidation.

I have been trading for over four years and also holding. What I realized is that holding is better than trading. See trading as gambling although it is not gambling.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Metamask now supporting bitcoin? on: January 31, 2024, 08:42:28 AM
Metamask now supporting bitcoin or a mistake from the news? Yes there are misinformation on news sometimes.

The new integration allows users to withdraw cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin directly from a wallet like MetaMask to a Visa debit card.

The last time I used Metamask, it is only supporting altcoins and not supporting bitcoin.

I do not want to download Metamask to check this which I think is a long process than asking on this forum.
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: January 31, 2024, 08:20:41 AM
It's not a telegram bookie.
It's a fully fledged website that looks somewhat realistic, but the "fixed" match advertised by the telegram group is actually not a real match, and no matter how hard you search for it you will always come up to that specific bookmarker website, which happens to be a fake bookmaker.
I thought it is a telegram gambling platform. But even if it is an online one that we can visit using its URL, they are not hard to know that they are scam. I have only prefer local casinos that are old and reputed already before I can decide to register on a gambling site, but when I come to this forum, I have the option to know that some new gambling sites are not fake, but still I do not do that to any gambling sites that are not on this forum signature campaign. Not having experience and also not knowing how to easily know scam sites has been the reason someone can fall for this.
578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there Casinos that offer Birthday Bonuses to their users? on: January 31, 2024, 08:15:25 AM
So, like I said before, she's a worker there and not a customer, but am wondering if there are some online casinos out there that actually give their customers same treatment, like atleast, a $50 bonus on the customers birthday, I would love to join a casino like that  Grin.
This has not happened to me before. I have received bonuses from gambling sites before that is worth up to $25 and I have received several bonus worth of $5 before. I am not talking about Livecasino that do give some of his campaign participants bonuses. But talking about gift card or let us say bonus during my birthday, no casino have given me that before.

It is good to know that gift card are given to workers and not customers. Or let me say the ones that I know. If a user of a gambling site are to be given something, likely it would be a bonus and there might be rules that will make it difficult to get money out of the bonus.
579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there Casinos that offer Birthday Bonuses to their users? on: January 31, 2024, 07:50:19 AM
Your neighbor's wife is not a gambling site or a local casinos user or customer, she is a worker there.

The local casino gave her gift card that is worth $150. This is common in organizations people are working. Companies can give their workers gift card during birthday or during Christmas and other celebrations.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: January 31, 2024, 06:52:32 AM
If I hear of match fixing, I will stop because I have known already that it is a scam.

If it is a telegram bookie, I will stop and delete the scammer from my telegram. I do not gamble on telegram.

We can see some people that wants to try something like this or something similar on this forum, referring us to add them on telegram. From their approach on this forum, you will know that they are scammers.
