I think even your a Hero member 8BTC is big enough for that.
Specially lot of people buying and selling account's for low amount..

But Goodluck Sir

Thanks

Thanks. But i registered from 2011 way before you or when the scammers started joining. i will never buy an account. To me that is like wearing someones else underwear.  In either case the mods will also be able to audit my account to see the consistent IP (non proxy) that  I use.

But I do get the concern  and I don't mine doing smaller amounts over time.
566  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 5 to 8 BTC with CC or PayPal on: August 02, 2014, 03:24:34 PM
CC is credit card, right? I dont think you can buy bitcoins with credit card. Too expensive. Paypal is a big no no. If you accept PM, SEPA, Skrill you might find someone. And 5 - 8 BTC is an impossible deal without escrow.

Escrow is fine . The coins can even be held in escrow for 30 days until the transaction clears. I simply want to buy back the BTC i spent
567  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 02, 2014, 03:21:10 PM
Loan of 5 to 8 BTC.

Denied. Also, money sent through paypal is a worthless collateral, and you know that. Not even sure why you offered it.

No problem. I know, but figured I would simply state it since that is the medium I have available  currently. Anyways thanks

why don't you just withdraw the money from your paypal and buy bitcoins with it?

PayPal is linked to my credit card. Can i just withdraw money from it like that without making a purchase or sending money to a friend etc ? If so I will definitely look into it. Have you done it before. PM me with details instead of replying in the thread since it is off topic

See here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=689927.0 . My GPU's have not been used unlike some of the other members ^^^^^ cough.   I have also added stress test to show their stability. Let me know if interested

i dont think that usage of gpu matters or not when you open the box of your card its used the price will be reduced..

Don't worry. You will realize the significance of usage when the card reaches end of life much much quicker. Cards used for mining  are miles apart from the ones that don't

Why don't we buy cars that have significant mileage  on them ? With your logic it does not matter

Hi haploid23 ,

Would like ideally around 5 to 8 BTC . Would prefer to buy immediately as I have made a request to leverage my credit here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=720733.0). However I understand the stigma associated with those form of payments. I have both both and sold on the forums numerous times and can furnish my posts for references.

Noticed that you are offering loans and would like to submit my application to borrow 5 to 8 BTC. I can send the money to your PayPal as collateral(even though you do not require it)

Terms

1. Loan of 5 to 8 BTC.
--Paid back with 10% interest within 3 months
--Paid every 30 days in installments
--Example for 8 BTC. You will receive  2.93 every 30 days. At the end of 3 months 8.8 BTC will be paid.

Let me know the amount I am approved for.

I'm a bitcoin miner have been for the last two years. I have been selling on Craigslist mainly. I'm based in Australia and have several happy customers worldwide. I have recently quadrupled the capacity of my rig and am smashing out more coins then I can sell.
Offer me a price and the amount you want to buy and I will see if we can do business.
I do require payment first but I have several references that are happy for you to contact.
Email rorypedicab@gmail.com and I will reply as soon as I can.
No time wasters please.

Would like to buy 8 BTC. Your account is new so will require escrow.  We can also do 1 BTC per transaction. PM me with the details
576  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Solo vs. Pool on: July 30, 2014, 05:15:14 AM
my chance of solving a block with 15gh is one in 62000 if I mine an entire day .

I do not believe I will ever win a block. with 15gh.

my cost for that 1/62000 chance is  .0004026 btc  .  this is what those 15gh earn when they mine in a pool.

that is .23 cents  so for .23 cents I can win about 14000 dollars.

  now I mine in a pool the other 6 days. I earn 6 x .23 cents = 1.38 in the week or 5.25 a week

power cost to mine is  3.30 a month.  so right now this setup is making 2 dollars a month profit.

the sticks have roi'd.  so that cost is 0. I run the router and switches for other mining .

I use a mac mini to do this and that runs 24/7/365 for other work.  So my results are 2 dollar a month profit  and 4 or 5 days where I can win  a block outright.

solo mining works for every one if they are making a profit with pool mining. just need to figure how often to solo mine

this is why no major pool wants the secret to get out as it will hurt them. Most people just don't get the math of this and  mine in pools.

you need to solo mine with gear that turns a profit for a small part of the time.

deciding what percent is important.

Bitsolo have not found a block since that individual got lucky in June. I do like just 50 gh/s there too, its like if you hit you hit, if not no big deal. Just a scratch off lotto ticket

And stop picking on hardhouseinc. He expected a product at a certain spec, that was not delivered so he has the right to be a little disappointed as a customer
578  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 30, 2014, 01:00:42 AM
Whoops

OK. Delivery for August correct ? If so can you arrange to have it transferred to me ? I will only buy it back for cash  value you paid in the group buy. Provided I will receive the customer compensation lets get the ball rolling here.

Yes, I was in the Aug group buy.
If you can contact the SP-Tech sales dept and they agree to transfer the order to you
Ill take my money back.  PM me and Ill give you the order number.
If Im paid in BTC it will have to be via CoinBase invoice at the rate of time of payment.
The price is dropping like a rock so I wont agree on a BTC amount now.

@BitcoinPappi & ALL GB members
I am sure that SP-Tech is flooded with e-mails right now. Please state your requests here or PM me and I will discuss the issue with SP-Tech for an easier organization. If I don't manage to get a "good" answer for you then you can negociate directly with them. I find it easier for me to send an e-mail with 4-5 questions than for them to receive 5 separate e-mails. Also I'm open to any suggestion that you might have.

hardhouseinc. Has agreed to give me his spot in for early August deliver. I would like for you to confirm the following with SP Tech:

1.Can they allow an order to be transferred
2.Once the order is transferred will I get the same compensation that all the other group buy members will be rewarded
3.What are the complete compensation terms
3.Lets make this happen so hardhouseinc can be happy
579  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 30, 2014, 12:46:18 AM
OK I held my tongue here long enough.
Ive been at the front of the line promoting here and giving my praise for this company
but I just cant take it, this pre-order is the final straw for me when it comes to BTC.

Ive been quiet and said they will come through but this is a FAIL in my book.
No, they were adamant about these miners will reach 6.5 TH/s.
Look at your Group Buy.
[CLOSED] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 pre-order - Specs: 0.69$/GH + 0.46W/GH
To get that cost, the miner HAS to be at least 6.5TH/s, $4500 / 6500 = 0.69

SO, they say now its 4.5TH/s +/-
That means to me it could be a 4TH/s miner when I get it.

That is 2.5TH/s SHORT of what they promised over and over and Im not out of line
on those numbers when 10% possible minus on an already slow miner is a BIG MINUS.

You really like to argue and you seem to get irritated very fast and very much. You joined my GB on 18 April when the specs were 5.4Th/s. You have decided that paying $4,500 for 5.4Th/s was a good deal at that time. The added hashpower came after you made your decision to buy a 5.4Th/s miner. SP-Tech came short 0.9Th/s for what you paid. SP-Tech didn't ask for any additional money when they increased their hashpower expectation, yet you demand a full refund for a 2.5Th/s shortage. This is simply wrong and bad intended.

Letting this argue aside it seems that there are people that would like to buy your order so there shouldn't be any problem for you except that you want a full BTC refund (this is not HashFail btw).

Arrange it please. I will buy back provided i get the full  customer compensation.
