Yes I'm pretty sure of the fees, the screenshots were taken directly from the app, and not the announcement article. And I just doubled checked and it's still the same.

Has anyone tried to withdraw using a lightning address? I think there's something wrong with the rule validation that doesn't detect addresses properly.
562  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance adds support for the Lightning network on: July 17, 2023, 07:48:52 AM
Maybe this differ from country to country, probably I will see it in the next update, but I have not seen it yet.
-snip-

They haven't pushed any updates to the mobile apps. Everything is probably done from the backend. Have you tried checking the web version? I highly doubt it has something to do with your location, otherwise, they would've mentioned it in the announcement article.
563  Economy / Exchanges / Binance adds support for the Lightning network on: July 17, 2023, 07:09:20 AM
So it's official, Binance officially added support for the lightning network a few hours ago[1]. Users can now deposit up to 0.05 BTC and withdraw for as little as 0.000002 BTC in fees.

We know that Coinbase has plans to do the same thing, so it would interesting to see if the other exchanges will start to follow the same steps.

564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Trading bot/platform on: July 16, 2023, 08:45:40 PM
So there was this platform, that I came across a few months ago and I'm not sure if I shared about it here or not but I want to check it out again.

IIRC, the platform/bot used AI and wasn't available for everyone, so you couldn't just make an account and start trading (at least not back then). I also believe they had a partnership with OKX?

The site had a very basic layout, nothing too fancy or complicated. I'm not sure if anyone here came across it before, but if you did, I'd appreciate it if you could share the link.
565  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Acceptcoin.io – a universal solution for accepting crypto payments! on: July 16, 2023, 10:05:16 AM
I made an account to test things out but I couldn't do much since you require KYC, so could you please explain what you mean by "fees from 0% for withdrawal" in the OP, and also this part from your website?

Are you charging the user fees based on where they are? I would've maybe understood if you were dealing with fiat and international payments, but this is for receiving crypto.
566  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [LIST] Wallets supporting Taproot on: July 16, 2023, 08:32:26 AM
-snip-

As mentioned above, the wallet is non-custodial (or so they claim)[1]. The desktop version is open source, but the mobile/browser extension is not.

If you don't want to list it because it's closed source, then you should probably remove Exodus from the list as well.

And... Just in: It looks like they got fined $4.7 billion and also got banned from trading by the Federal trade comission[1]. I'm guessing that now, any hope of users recovering their funds has been lost good?

568  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Trust Wallet Alternative (multi currency) on: July 13, 2023, 09:22:47 AM
Probably unstoppable wallet[1][2]. I have been using it for quite some time, and I never had any problems with it, maybe with the exception of "slow syncing" time but that's only for bitcoin's blockchain.

Not all online trading platforms are to be trusted.

Cryptocurrency execution and custody services are provided by Apex Crypto LLC (NMLS ID 1828849) through a software licensing agreement between Apex Crypto LLC and Webull Pay LLC. Cryptocurrency trading is offered through an account with Apex Crypto. Apex Crypto is not a registered broker-dealer or FINRA member and your cryptocurrency holdings are not FDIC or SIPC insured. Please ensure that you fully understand the risks involved before trading.

According to them in their official website WEE BULL trading bot is under Apex crypto LLC.

AFAIK, this (webull.com) is a reputable company known for stocks trading. As for Apex crypto, then apparently it was acquired by Bakkt[1]

The second link however (webulltradingbots) is obviously a ripoff attempt of the original site so if that's what OP is using (looks like it) then sadly, I doubt there's much he can do.

570  Economy / Services / Re: I Need Someone Who Can Send And Receive Payments with Paypal on: July 13, 2023, 07:28:50 AM
Where are you from? Just a suggestion but if you can get a Payoneer account or have access to banking in your country, you should be able to receive payments without having to deal with somebody else.

Since you're offering writing services, you could maybe post on Fiverr where the other party could pay you using PayPal, so that you withdraw them later[1]

571  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Having Difficulties Withdrawing Funds From Crypto Website. on: July 13, 2023, 06:57:42 AM
How about and instead of making a new bank account, you just convert your funds back to crypto and try to withdraw that to see if thar works?

As mentioned above, it's difficult to say without knowing the name/URL of the platform but looking at the email... Unless you're referring to webull.com it's probably a scam and someone is trying to impersonate them.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Using a third party service for USDT wallet. on: July 12, 2023, 02:29:56 PM
If there is no option. Then your choice could be exodus[1] or atomic wallet[2] if you have no other preference and if you don't want to get on unstoppable wallet on its app version. But yeah, closed sourced multi-wallets.

I definitely wouldn't recommend Atomicwallet. As mentioned above, the wallet is supposed to be non-custodial, and yet many users have recently got their funds stolen[1] and what's crazy about this whole thing is that even now, after more than a month from the incident, the company still claim that they don't know what caused this which doesn't make much sense when they recently pushed a "mandatory security update"[2]

I'm not from the U.S and I'm not sure which platform you're using (assuming that things could be different depending on which exchange you're using) but take a look at these articles from Coinbase[1][2]. they should give you a good idea of everything you want to know (taxable events, the forms to fill out, etc.)

574  Economy / Exchanges / Re: You are probably paying more to get your Bitcoin on: July 12, 2023, 10:25:44 AM
Binance charge 0.0005 BTC as the withdrawal fee, it's worth around $15, how it's even possible you can say Binance only charge up to $1.5?

That's no longer the case. IIRC, they lowered them right after the congestion we had because of ordinals, and now, it's sitting at 0.000025 BTC. It's possible that it's now dynamic though so they might change depending on the network's state.
575  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best platform for selling digital products with crypto? on: July 11, 2023, 05:18:08 PM
Thanks a lot for the suggestion,  checked out shoppy.gg, and it seems like a popular choice. But they charge a whopping 5% fee on crypto payments, and my people love using crypto. So, I'm wondering if there are other sites with lower fees or more payment options.

By the way, has anyone tried securehub.top? Any personal experiences, guys?

Thanks again for your input, and I'm stoked to hear more from you awesome folks!

Do you have some technical knowledge? I'm not familiar with the site you mentioned, but you can try and go with one of these payment processors[1]. The fees are better (1%) but you will have to do some work with their API if you want something like shoppy.gg.

576  Economy / Service Discussion / [Discussion] Arkham Intelligence on: July 11, 2023, 02:14:02 PM
So, most of you here might have heard of this company (at least in the last 24 hours) but for those who didn't, here are a few links to check[1][2][3]. In short, this platform will allow its users to buy/sell information about a wallet's owner.

From my understanding, say for example you got your funds stolen, you can use this platform to post a bounty so people could help you track down the hacker's identity for a fee. I guess we think of it as peer to peer version for ChainAnalysis.

It's still unclear to me how everything works, and how data is verified but I would like to hear your thoughts about this, and the potential good (and harm) that this might cause.

I can't vouch for this service but from what I have seen most of people seem to be using shoppy.gg. According to their main page, they accept bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum. If you want more options, check the digital goods board, there are some people who uses other sites.
579  Economy / Exchanges / Re: need help getting Bitcoin off coinme Voucher on: July 10, 2023, 03:15:20 PM
I'm not that familiar with the service you're mentioning, but if you're trying to verify your identity, that's not something people could help you with. I also doubt the support would help. Your best bet would be to use another form of identification (passport for example) if you have one.
580  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Free tool] Options simulator for BTC on: July 09, 2023, 11:57:04 AM
If a mod can move this thread to Service Announcements, I would be grateful.

You should be able to do that yourself as well. On the bottom left corner, you have a "Move topic" button.

Now about your service, is it possible to use the generated API keys for the testnet? I can't see any mention of that on the documentation: https://docs.everstrike.io/#/auth/limit
