Sweeeeeeeet, I see we have some posts. I've barely had time to check my email. My County Electrical Inspector is making my electrician replace a meter box with a new one (installed correctly). This has held me up a bit in regards to revenue. I've been missing out on revenue since Wednesday, Last Week. It is now Wednesday, Next Week. You can see an image here of the off-set they need to make it look halfway decent. I appreciate the inspector looking out for me there so it doesn't look like crap. However, this will instill some sneaky power connection with whips. Simply means the downstairs is off limits to my seven year old for now.  |

If GPU miners have not dropped by ZCash Forum at their official forum, you should do so to voice your opinion to Zooko in regards to MAINTAINING ASIC RESISTANCE.Zooko, is more or less contemplating an ASIC designed specifically for ZEC. How ludicrous is that? BITMAIN could easily get their hands on one and reverse engineer it to make their own ASIC for ZEC. Any difference if you right click on the miner, select "Define Pool Coin", and then set it to CryptonightV7 -> Monero?

When AM mined Monero for me b4 last weekend, I see that AM had 2 monero entries in coins tab (obviously one on old chain, and one is the v7), it makes selecting pool coins a bit difficult since they both shows up in the Pool Coins list as Monero....I just identified the old one and hides it from the coin's view entirely.
My point is, did you check if that's the case that your miner might have been selecting the non-V7 version for the pool or the template? Just a wild guess since that wouldn't be the case if you are using just 1 pool for monero, but guessing you might have setup more than 1 xmr pool @ nanopool on a different regional stratum?
I figured out what the issue is: New Pools were created for the following test using MoneroV7:I'm connecting to nano pool with my R9 series rigs with SSL using Claymore CryptoNight [No Monero logo with Daily/Monthly Revenue]. I'm connecting to nano pool with my RX series rigs using Cast Miner with TCP [See Monero logo with Daily/Monthly Revenue]. When I have it set for stratum+ssl, I DO NOT get the Monero logo with Daily/Monthly Revenue [While using Claymore CryptoNight on R9 series rigs]. When I have it set for stratum+tcp, I DO get the Monero logo with Daily/Monthly Revenue [While using Claymore CryptoNight on R9 series rigs]. https://i.imgur.com/C4AkyjH.jpgSo, there's a POTENTIAL BUG when using stratum+ssl to mine Monero with Claymore CryptoNight. I think i will give up.
A simple thing :
Launching miners and checking them remotely does work
Now, if i want to do managed miners, just one algo (i set up a template) to replicate the same settings , i put rules also to restart the miner, the miners will always stop for one reaoson or not, AMD or Nvidia, where they never stop when i run them without awesome miner...
Lossing so much time and energye and money...
Don't understand how a simple thing like that can't work properly
Tried the algo swithcing, and it is very rare that the tool will choose the correct algo...At the end, i just end up with Zec for Nvidia and ETH for AMD, sadly...Tought this tool could make some optomization, but it makes things worse.
Will check up other tool for monitoring, because i am really not convinced by any algo switching tool
Already when i was using MPH function for that, was very disappointed by the profit generated.
Now, unless spending time to find yourself the good coin to mine, and manage to sell fast, i don't see how this can make more money, just spend more time lol
No disrespect intended. Usually, the issue with Awesome Miner not working as expected is "User Error" and not the application itself. |

Hi Patrike, I was hoping this update might fix my previous issue with "some" rigs not showing revenue per day/month for Monero V7. Let me be more specific: Before the recent update, R9 380 and R9 390 Rigs using Claymore CryptoNight to mine Monero V7 showed $0.0 daily/monthly revenue. However, RX 480 and RX 580 rigs using Cast XMR to mine Monero V7 showed daily/monthly revenue. After the most recent update, I'm having the same issues except for one more ADDED issue. The R9 380 and 390 rigs still show no daily/monthly revenue when using Claymore CryptoNight to mine MoneroV7. But now they don't even show the Monero logo. I did not think it would affect that issue if I upgraded each managed miner mining Monero V7 "with" Claymore CryptoNight but I did so anyway to see if that would fix it but no dice. To be clear: The rigs that ARE showing the MoneroV7 logo are using Cast XMR to mine Monero with RX 400 and 500 series rigs. I was having issues with Cast not working on my RX 480 and RX 580 rigs with the Blockchain Driver. When I upgraded to the AMD Adrenaline 18.3.4, everything began to work fine. At least for now.
Simply thought I would give the heads up for those of you using RX 480 and RX 580 cards.

I can't get my 480's and 580's to work either. Only 3 or 4 cards of the 7 card rigs will work then it quits. R9 380's and R9 390's work fine. I'm trying Cast XMR Miner now but can only get ONE card to work with it and none of the other cards show up. |

Well... i think you need to work some hours to optimize your rigs. It´s not so difficult and you´ll get much more hashrate and less power comsumption (this means longer life for your gpu´s too). Hi David,
Take a look about oc settings on RX 480 and 580´s, these cards need more core mv on cryptonight than eth. It depends the core speed youre mining at.
For example, if you normaly mine eth @1180 and undervolt 800-850mV, in cryptonight V7 you need 950mV at least.
This is not meaning more power consumption, whereas cryptonight is less intensive algo than ethash.
Hope it fix your 0Hs problem with these gpus-

Well, don't kick me in the arss when I tell you this but all of my AMD cards are STOCK. Absolutely no MSI Afterburner or BIOS mod on the AMD cards. I have used MSI Afterburner on all my NVIDIA 1080 ti rigs for ZEC to get 700 H/s for each card at 1340 watts for 6 card rigs. But NOTHING has ever been done to my AMD rigs other than the Blockchain AMD driver update. I have: 8 x NVIDIA 1080 Ti 6 card rigs - 48 cards 2 x NVIDIA 1070 Ti 6 card rigs - 12 cards 4 x AMD R9 380 6 card rigs - 24 cards 2 x AMD R9 390 6 card rigs - 12 cards 1 x AMD RX 580 7 card rig - 7 cards 4 x AMD R9 Fury 6 card rigs - 24 cards 16 x AMD RX 480 7 card rigs - 112 cards TOTAL CARDS = 239 cards I'm also currently in the middle of a mining room remodel at my house and about finished at my dad's house. There are a lot cryptonight miners around that a much better than Claymore's. So if he doesn't want to continue development - leave 0% fee and exit is a right move!

Okay, no worries... I'm mining ZEC as well with my NVIDIA cards. No issues at all with them. Only my 480's and 580's with XMR. Maybe I can get Cast XMR Miner 0.9.2 AMD GPU going shortly. |
