561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Difficulties (ups and downs) faced in trading? on: September 12, 2018, 01:42:15 PM
Every platform is aimed to yield profits and trading platform is one of the best platforms to invest and gain turn over. We do have experienced traders here. Few love to start trading after their research here. What are the things you would advice a new trader to focus on? How should one go about when beginning his / her trading?
Yeah, there is no single lie in all the things you have said, the only issue is that it sounds so simple when saying it, but when the reality kicks in, it becomes a totally different thing. Trading is not just about technical analysis; it is all about understanding some certain things, getting to have some attributes from experience before deciding to go fully into trading.

Trading is a profession, but some people tend not to see it that way. It requires learning, practicing as much as you can and gaining confident over time.

My advice usually for new traders is never to rush into it and they should simply take their time and do it right. Paper trading and demo trading is something achievable in which you won't have to trade with real money, but you can practice with these methods, and see how far you get to go.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bottom is near... on: September 12, 2018, 12:53:43 PM
BTC at 6000
ETH at 200
LTC at 50

looks like the bottom is close people....
The bottom is not close to me as far as I am concerned, unless I am able to see some very good growth in the market to stir up a good volume upward. For some of the alts, we may have reached some pretty good bottom, but notwithstanding, there is nothing here to guarantee that the market could not go lower as it is and in fact, from recent happening, the bears tend to have upper hands than the bulls. So, in that case, permit me if I am not optimistic about the market yet until trend changes.

Yes, the situation on the market is very bad, but this is not bottom at all. I think it will be recovering soon, so don`t panic. Now it`s a perfect time to invest in.
People keep calling bottom like they know exactly where the bottom would be, but in the real sense, the bottom will only be known when the bottom ends up hitting and we switch back to a long term uptrend. Presently, we are still in a downtrend on the longer time frame and I wonder where the optimism is coming from when the market still has more room to go lower. I simply do not care how low it goes as long as that gives me opportunity to buy the dip. Focusing on a particular price being the bottom will not help.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Scrap Trading on: September 12, 2018, 09:13:09 AM
When you are doing scrap trading it is important to stay on top of market news, price changes, and other events that may affect prices of these tokens. It is also important to keep up on the latest tips and information that can help one make more money in a quick fashion like Exchange listings, Mainnet release, Partnership, Hacking etc.
I am not very sure if you what you are referring to as scrap trading is scalp trading.

But the last time I checked, the only type of trading that I know is scalping which to me sounds like what you are referring to, so you may want to do more research on that and change it, unless there is something I do not know which I am sure even Google got confused when I was trying to search for scrap trading.

Nevertheless, irrespective of conditions of the market, you really do not want to be trading without any strategy or knowledge, and you also do not want to be starting your trading career scalping as that seems more like a very much experienced and professional angle to trading than someone who is just getting involved in the space.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reasons why one should invest in bitcoin now? on: September 12, 2018, 07:55:32 AM
we need to invest bitcoin now it is because it leads us to the future with the advancement of technology. Maybe life is more easier with bitcoin that uses blockchain technology.
Normally the best time to invest in anything is when the market is down and is giving a lot of opportunity for those who may want to buy at a lower price to buy. Bitcoin market is here to stay and for what it is worth, it is gaining a huge entrance in the financial world and for those who can at least visualize the benefit it would bring in the future, they will know better to be investing now. What is important is to focus on the technology, the benefits it brings and how things could turn out eventually.

Invest because you understand the future of what you are investing in and not because you are looking to get rich overnight. Simply the best mindset to have.
I must agree with this. When thousands of different concept based coins are available in this markets, it will be literally impossible to analyze all of them to choose the best one. This is the reason I do invest only with bitcoins and I am sure I am very much confident about its future.
565  Economy / Economics / Re: BANKS offers LOANS. on: September 11, 2018, 07:28:37 PM
edited: (changed from question to statement)
If the Banks where about to give a service where the people can get a LOAN via Bitcoins I guess, it would be beneficial to all of us,The Banks and The Traders.
I think with this, trading would be a lot more easier, am I wrong?
You're wrong. Just look around there are a lot of banks not allowing crypto-fiat exchange, what's more loaning people for crypto? Besides the idea of loaning just for trading is not the best strategy because of the risk. I wouldn't recommend it. Just imagine if you borrow money from someone and invest it in the beginning of the year? You will be having a hard time to pay because we suddenly goes on a bearish trend.
Yes. It is still a very volatile market and for one thing, I am sure no bank will even want to be taking such a risk which is why they are in a higher percentage not be able to withstand the idea of decentralization.

Maybe over time when things change and we get to start seeing real life usage, more demand, less volatility towards the downside and so on, I guess we might things change, however, we also have to consider the aspect where the deflationary side of bitcoin might end up making it more of an asset than a currency, hence, the speculative nature.

Hence, I do not think, banks offering loans in bitcoin would really make any better impact as well.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: A few suggestions for profit on the crypto market.. on: September 11, 2018, 04:40:32 PM
I would rather hold some bags and make sure I do not lose money by selling low than just selling low and try again with lower entry point or some other coin. I feel like while holding coins I either support the developers of that coin or purely support the coin itself against other people.

I have been discussing the same thing with a friend and if you are going to buy a coin for a long term investment I think getting a proof-of-stake coin is the way to go, that way you can start staking right away and still not lose too much during a bear market. When the price goes back up to what the ATH was, you can sell even more because you staked it during the bear market.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: September 11, 2018, 01:05:42 PM
That is even a very big amount of money for me, very honestly I cannot afford to lose such a big amount of money. I can only afford to lose 0.005 per day to lose, which really do not affect me financially too much. So I will also suggest you that you should put only such amount of money that you can easily afford to lose.
Unfortunately, that 0.005 per day when added up for all the times you have been gambling and most of the time you have lost during these period, I am certainly sure, that would have been some huge amount of money. Just saying though! However, it is always a good thing to have limit, when it comes to gambling so as to be able to curtail your losses and also keep in mind that the chances of losing as you keep going further keeps increasing. As long as you can gamble with what you can afford to lose at a certain point in time, then, there should be no problem.

the worst moment came when I was not able to control myself, I bet all the money I got, which I should have won and finally lost big. This as an experience if we have won it might be better to go home and play again next time.
Well, that act of control is one thing a lot of gamblers have failed to do in their years of gambling. Gambling is generally known to come with a lot of impulses which is usually fueled by greed most of the time which we all know is in human nature, and the only best way to deal with it is to control those impulses by controlling yourself and the decisions you make. Know what is ok for you and what is not okay for you and with that, you will certainly be able to maintain your stance with gambling.
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 11, 2018, 12:01:20 PM
I'll change the discussion somehow since most of you are talking about Lebron. How about DeRozan? do you think that this season is going to be his?

It is hard to predict but I bet he will be better off with Pops. Experience wise and also discipline, that man may change the way DeRozan plays and maybe give them a better game or better a championship game.

DeRozan is really a good player. He just needs to be sharpened when it comes to team playing which he doesnt have much.
Agree, playing with coach Pop will able to enhance his mentality, if he will able to adopt the system and blend well with his team mates, he can showcase
his talents he just needed to adjust and play according to the system and become matured and enjoy the trade.
I think if we are talking about coach pop and we are talking about a player of his playing good, we can be certain he will get most out of him. Maybe derozan will not be forced to play 40+ minutes to win a game like in toronto but he will still be a big part of the team.

Coach pop is a firm believer of "team is family" and he will not ask too much out of his players unless it is obvious, he will not push them to death to get a W, he got his W already with 5 rings, he will make sure everyone involved is happy and loving their situations. I think derozan will have a great efficient year while still not putting too much pressure into his body.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is back on: September 11, 2018, 09:03:01 AM
What strong are you talking about?
Technically, bitcoin does not look strong. In the near future, BTC can breakdown the level of 6K.
In the short term it may not be looking strong since we are still in a downtrend anyway, however, we also have to understand that in the long term this is not going to completely be the case as long as btc keeps evolving and more development keep kicking in. There will always be the bulls after the bears and vice versa, so I do not see it as anything new. What is just perturbing is that investors who do not even have trading knowledge tend to focus so much on short term than focusing on the long term.

Bitcoin is still strong and has better value, and will continue to provide surprises that really make people shocked. The return of bitcoin brings good things to the holders.
It is just that some people will not even be available to always experience the shock positively and would always wish they listened to what people have been telling them this time of the year. Bitcoin is still the best option so far when it comes to investing in this market, and even though altcoins still have a part to play, it is usually always safer with bitcoin. In terms of huge returns, as development keeps coming in and we tend to start seeing real life usage, some would wish they joined the train now than later.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be deceived... on: September 11, 2018, 07:13:12 AM
This is a time we all need to be very careful. So many will be coerced into selling what they have, but i tell you, never allow yourself to be deceived. It will definitely get better. A little patience will not harm you.
Times like this will surely come, only the strong can overcome.
I agree that we are going thru some tough times and we will see the price increase once again but for how high will it go is the real problem. We are expecting bitcoin to go like $12k or something and alts to follow suit so we can make a decent profit but unfortunately the highest bitcoin goes is around $7.2k levels and when that happens altcoins are just dying a bit more and more because it loses value against bitcoin instead of going up with it.

We do not need another short quick spur of increase in bitcoin price, we need a real big huge bull run that would make bitcoin at least $9k or so to make people believe in bitcoin and crypto once again. This is 100% certain thing to be happening in near future but how much it will be happening so quicker, that is the level we may retain the investors to keep investing into crypto world as that is the main thing we need all the time so that we will have a healthier balance in this crypto world.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: As a successful trader, how do you cut your loss short? on: September 11, 2018, 05:58:17 AM
Any successful trader has several sources of crypto-currency income, if any of them happens to be a drawdown, you need to normalize the picture by pouring part of the capital from another, but in no case do not go all-in.
No smart trader will even go all in on a single trader as that on its own shows someone who is less knowledgeable and simply does not have any clue on how to trade the market. Asides trading, there is always what is referred to as money management and the rule usually is not to trader more than 5% of your capital on a single trade, which at times can preferably be 2%. Stopping loss is all based on one's strategy and strategy is one thing a trader does not want to not have when it comes to trading.

Well I'm not a really successful trader I guess (depends on the definition of this word) you should be patient and never sell if you fear.
That actually shows you are an inexperienced trader. Being patient and being good at what you do are totally what is important.

If you want to be investing long term, then patience may suffice for you but for a trader, there is absolutely nothing like patience, there is just strategy as what you are simply doing is taking advantage of the market fluctuation for your own gain. Have a strategy, buy when you feel your strategy play out, sell in the same vein, and cut loss at least before the bounce at the point where your strategy played out.
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 10, 2018, 01:01:11 PM
It is incredible that after 4 years of finals and 3 rings, warriors are still so much ahead of everyone else that this year it is going to be even easier for them. I mean they added cousins but even without him they are incredibly talented and consist of the best players with a great coaching staff and the difference between them and the second best will be insane again.

Rockets tried to beat them last year and was pretty close but they lost a great role player in trevor ariza but got melo who is aging and not playing like he used to and fall short of exceptions. I doubt anyone could be even a challenge for them this year. It is sad to know who will win the championship even before the league starts.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Idea of buying Ripple. on: September 10, 2018, 11:55:02 AM
Considering what is obtainable in altcoins market right the price of altcoins are depreciating on daily basis as we have seen in recent time. Should i buy Ripple to hold till when altcoins recover?

What is your advise ?
I feel like you should make a basket from the coins that lost the most because they have most to gain as well. For example ethereum, dash and nano has been known to drop and drop well below most other coins dropped.

You can check the prices and compare the "% to ath" prices and whichever decent coin has highest you can purchase those and make a portfolio of it. Ripple seems like a decent coin and well enough dropped but do not purchase just one coin, diversify. Also do not buy a coin just because it dropped in price, make sure you are buying a decent coin, do not go for the shady shitcoins.

If you do this, you will profit during a big bull run that is inevitably must be on its way.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICObench - dead? on: September 10, 2018, 06:17:01 AM
ICO bench is not a good sites so I don't worry this issues. But this is server issue and some maintenance issues also possible so we should wait and watch the future results.
It is totally died in tomorrow also we should understand some big issues are attacked in this site.
Who even cares if ICOBench ends up dead or not ? Any sane investor would know that the only thing to do to be able to get something valuable from the ICO space is to do your own due diligence. Everything about ICOBench is unreal. You get to see some bought reviews and the project ending up to be a scam eventually and as long as whatever is being presented on the site is unreliable and it makes the whole site bullshit. For what it is worth, it can be long dead for all I care.

In this way, there is really no real deliberation about a project but everything is driven by the money that is involved in most cases and truthfully, that sucks.
This is the reason I do believe only on my own research and analysis. Paid reviews are common anywhere in these days. Instead of depending on others it would be much better to stay calm without risking by believing into others words.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: September 09, 2018, 06:34:07 PM
people already think this as bad because it can make people who already worst to become more worst. It can make people problematic the way they are going to think where they get their bankroll on next day. It can make person addicted on it which it lead them in bad situation.
Greed, wrong mentality and over indulgence, is one thing that has always been a characteristics of most gamblers and the main reason why they have ended up an addict over time. Being an addict is very bad in anything because it has fully taken control over you and it is more like you worshiping it and not being able to live a day without it.

For that fact, it makes them poorer as they make wrong decisions and judgments and they keep losing so much even though it is affecting the people around them. This alone is enough to bring about the negativity that surrounds it.

What has always been the major problem when it comes to gambling is that they focus too much on winning and discarding the reality that this is just a game of luck and the chances of winning is usually very slim. However, before they would start realizing that, they would have been long deep in it and getting out would be a problem and we all know what the end result is usually like.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 09, 2018, 05:40:23 PM
I was not expecting serena to lose her cool like that. I mean I can understand her loosing a match because after all she is a human and osaka played amazingly and that type of upset happens all the time and there was a lot of people saying she may lose however I did not expected serena to go crazy and have a fight with the umpire, it was awkward to watch let alone be part of that, umpire must have felt so weird when he saw serena loose her cool with him and go crazy.

I mean she yelled I am a mother about a coaching call, what does that have to do with anything. I know she is the greatest of all time but she needs to learn how to lose gracefully.
577  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Corporates plan to adapt bitcoin and blockchain? on: September 09, 2018, 04:42:18 PM
There are foriegn companies who accepts bitcoin payment already, but still we are looking forward that this system is used generally world wide and with the advent of technology this is not impossible to happen in the future and i believe these will happened if people all over the world will have a better undertanding what is bitcoin nd blockchain technology. Knowledge is power i say.
It is just a start and there would be many more to come. At least, for now, we are already seeing several news that is actually leading bitcoin into the mainstream which I believe as time goes on will offer a huge development into the ecosystem at large. One thing for now is to just keep remaining optimistic and for the fact that the corporate world will bring about real life usage, it would mean a great deal for the technology to grow more than it is now.

If corporate companies do embrace the technology then it will definitely help to drive growth but yes the environment is too unstable to use it for that purpose of paying employees etc. The technology in itself can be used for other things without necessarily worrying about the monetary value side of it but yeah I think it'll be a while longer before we see the Bitcoin used widely.
Driving growth and most especially in the area of demand is actually what we need the most in this space, which I believe would help douse down all these forms of speculations and thereabout going on with people wanting to get rich overnight. At least, with developments like this, and for the corporate world adopting bitcoin and blockchain technology, it would bring about real life usage as time goes on and make the idea of the main usage of the space for what it was meant for become a reality.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good investment option? ICO's pitched on a PRODUCT, not a White Paper on: September 09, 2018, 01:12:38 PM
Some White Paper's I have read sound so promising but I can't bring myself to invest as the chances of success are very limited. I'm actively looking for product based ICO's to invest in
That is usually the thing ! Sounding promising and being workable in reality are two major things.
A lot of people focus so much on the whitepaper and the idea, which I believe Ideas can be copy, but they tend to discard what is valuable the most, which is the product.

At least, the presence of a product shows you a team that is ready to work and know what they are doing to be able to have been achieving to that stage. It is then the future of this product and its further development based on the other technicalities you have read, and how it is going to be useful enough to create demand in the long run, which you are investing in now.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the effects of market manipulation on: September 09, 2018, 06:27:34 AM
What is the actual effect of market manipulation of a token or coin and what is the effects  and is it necessary to manipulate market of a particular token or coin..
Who are the team behind market manipulation?
I think the biggest is the fight.
I mean not all whales wants bitcoin to go up, also not all whales wants the price to go down. All of this causes a fight between whales for the price to go either down or up and in the end it leaves us watching without doing much and we just try to hope the side we want wins.

Now of course, many people think bitcoin going up should win but in the end when you sell for a price, you wish it goes down so you can buy more. Market manipulation is not just going down for short futures, it is also going up for quick sale and purchasing more for cheaper as well, which still creates a up and down for us to marvel at.
580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: September 08, 2018, 06:12:50 PM
I don't so much believe in beginner's luck because that luck is spread out among the participating members and it may not always pick you. So gambling is all about keeping it rolling, and that's not good for the player always on the loss.
I really doubt if there is anything like beginners luck.
Yeah, at times, as a beginner, it is more like the site trying to welcome you to the party and trying to let you get very comfortable. I remember when I started gambling at first, it was as if the greens from the dice just won't stop and over time, I thought the martingale strategy I was using back then is really going to set me on the wealth level and then it all started. The same thing happened when I started using another account.

I really won't say it is a beginner's luck thing, it is just either the computer playing with your intelligence or nature playing with your intelligence.

Lol, that's basically the same as believing in beginners luck though.
I mean, you're talking about the computer and nature playing with your intelligence...

What's that supposed to mean? Sounds like a bunch of superstition to me.
But I understand that is not superstition that is just being logical. In terms of playing with someone's intelligence, it is simply more like saying that the computer want you as a beginner to think this is going to keep coming to you on a platter of gold and then when you get so relaxed, thinking this is a luck that is not going to stop, and then reality kicks in while you start seeing the reds.

There is absolutely nothing like beginner's luck, and anyone who thinks that or simply get so relaxed and comfortable about it will always end up being taught a lesson eventually.
