561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with bonuses only on: May 28, 2019, 09:38:53 PM
They allow you to play using your bonuses but even if you have a run of winning, you will still have to make a deposit before they allow you to withdraw your earnings, some scam gambling sites are doing that, they will give you a bonus, let you win but before you withdraw you will have to deposit a huge amount of money, after it's bye bye, they will ban you and accused you of cheating.
not all gambling sites do that, some gambling sites do provide bonuses, giveaway, or deposit bonuses with rollovers up to 50x or certain withdrawal limits, so they play longer on their gambling sites and attract players to deposit, that's the trick of their site, no problem just playing with bonuses, is it fun we're looking for?
562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: do technical actually work on: May 27, 2019, 04:03:19 PM
Yes, technical analysis works.

But you cannot totally depend on technical analysis for trading regardless whether you trade bitcoin or Forex. You have to do fundamental analysis as well because in the history bitcoin price mainly drove through fundamentals. However, it's not possible to apply technical analysis for all coins. Coins with low volume and market cap which are listed only in one or two exchanges can be easily manipulated. Therefore, it is wise to take decisions for trading using technicals only for major cryptocurrencies which have a high volume and market cap such as bitcoin and Ethereum.
Yeah agree, because we know that price changes don't occur because of just one factor, there are many others factors that affect prices, start from manipulation, economic conditions, issues that happens, and many other thing. Predict prices not only from TA by reading candles, but there are many other things you can do to predict the price so it will be more accurate
563  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: May 27, 2019, 12:50:36 PM
Bitcoin has already a practical use. People are using it to gamble, to travel, to buy goods, to pay for lodging or to invest, what is the problem? It has all the practical usages that fiat has. What these guys want is to underestimate bitcoin because it's decentralized.
At same time they love crypto currency possibilities and want to create a crypto fiat, to continue ruling the economies through centralization, but benefiting themselves from the advantages of blockchain.
in fact in my country beforehand I already used bitcoin to transact, but because of a ban from the government, then there was a sweeping use of bitcoin to transact. I think it's only a concern that the government is btc
Agree, I can buy some items online directly with Bitcoin, that is one example of practical use right? actually the use of bitcoin is the same as fiat, it's just that you are still limited options buying in many stores, but that does not mean it eliminates practical use of bitcoin.
564  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont believe on sale on: May 27, 2019, 12:41:28 PM
Sales are everywhere. Sale on shoes, bags, shirts, gadgets and everything. Malls and shops use this technique to attract buyers, but you know what?  Do you think you've been discounted a higher price than ordinary? No. Instead of saving 20%, you spend 80% on things you dont really need. This is not economical and most of us are easily lured to it. This is what i hate about people. When there's useless trending items on sale, they buy immediately even on credit cards but if bitcoin drops, they talk negative about it. Normal mindset wants to get temporary attention. Not permanent comfort.
That is the art of marketing mate. I've been an employee at a fashion shop, they sell at the same price but with the tag line "sale" or "discount" it will surely attracts more buyers and buyers will buy more. thats will hypnotized people get cheaper prices for items they don't need
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not money on: May 27, 2019, 09:35:01 AM
Bitcoin is not money.

It is more an artwork with 21,000,000 limited editions. And each limited edition contains 100,000,000 limited pieces. (satoshis)

Semantics... We are using "real" money to purchase chains of numbers. Its Math! (Or is Art Math? Math is Art?)
Thats art? all art is valuable, so thats why bitcoin has value and price. More worse is on fiat, they have unlimited supply, they can print as much money as they want and that can make their currency worthless. which one is better fiat or bitcoin in terms of money?
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MORE TYPES OF BITCOIN SCAMS on: May 27, 2019, 09:17:10 AM
Tips for Respective Bitcoin HOLDERS :

Types of Bitcoin SCAMS :

1) Never trust anyone who says Invest your bitcoins here/there and we will show how they grow down the line ! Never trust anyone and transfer your bitcoins into any wallet, once they are gone they are gone forever ! So please !

2) Any one threatening saying they know your secrets and request you for Bitcoins, dont even care just hit the delete button !

3) Anybody calls you and says they are from your exchange and request for access/password,just hangup the call !

4) Whatever stories you hear or told, never let your bitcoins leave your WALLET AT ANY COST !

5) Dont buy bitcoins from anyone who says they are selling for cheap ! Buy only from Trusted Exchanges !

Just dont care and move on for any of the above !!
I often find cases like in number 3, I don't know why there are so many messages about this on my email, I know they tried hacking with phishing. They act like exchange sites or wallets, and their mode asks for certain verification so that your account isn't blocked by them, and you are directed at their site which is very similar to the original exchange site. I don't know how they knows email of bitcoin users?
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Low Risk Gambles Create Success ? Does this made you a Smart Gambler? on: May 27, 2019, 05:55:12 AM
The smart gambler are the ones who knows when to stop either you are winning or losing being logical
and reasonable while gambling helps you a lot to think clearer and make the right decision when it is needed.
Exactly, but this is not only true for gambling. Keeping your mind clear and feelings out is a key for being successful in (crypto) trading as well. Big losses happen in hurries or bad mood, same goes for gambling when you eg. wont believe that you are at a loss streak and keep on playing.
Smart gamblers must be smart also in managing their capital at gambling. like the word of OP that smart gamblers will not
go to casino ATMs again if their money is runout, smart gambler has a plan of how much money they should spend on gambling
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are the strong candidates who will get this year's Ballon D'or trophy? on: May 27, 2019, 05:36:48 AM
The Champions League is almost over, the interesting thing to talk about next is Who will get the Ballon D'or trophy? We know before that the strong candidates for the title are Lionel Messi & De Jong because the Barcelona and Ajax teams have the chance to win Trible but now Barcelona & Ajax are not competing in the UCL Finals. Who do you think the decent players will get the best player title?
I really appreciate de Jong's performance in the Champions league, he can bring Ajax to the semifinals, and that is already very good in my opinion, seeing the material of ajax players is not as good as other teams. but it was too early for De jong to win the Ballon d'or, many other players were more deserving of it. If Mo Salah can bring Liverpool win the champions league, he is be the best candidates for , me, they have top score at Premiere League, managed to bring Liverpool win champions, who else more better than him?
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is needed for a gambler to the success? on: May 25, 2019, 02:01:07 PM
Everyone know gambling is filled with success and loss but what is the most important for being successful in gambling
Luck or experience?
It is both. Experience can lead one to a good decision when betting and luck will also do the same. So both choices were essential to become successful in betting. Aside from that a good choice of online casino betting platform will give one an advantage.

So to start with chosing a better online casino platform, one should check every online casino betting platform then compare which among of the platform is better to play with.
But I am not sure both can bring you success in gambling, seeing luck cannot be predicted will side to you or not. I think being successful at gambling cannot be determined and guaranteed, even you are experienced though you may not be successful. so don't expect you to become a billionaire by gamble, if you lose you will only be disappointed. Don't overconfidence, don't get stressed while playing, just play with fun that can bring success in any form.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tottenham Vs LiverPool UEFA Final on: May 25, 2019, 10:11:17 AM
In my opinion, Liverpool's tradition (historical record) is strong in this cup, so Liverpool for me. My prediction is that Tottenham's player will "choke" and will make many unnecessary mistakes.

Last five matches: W-W-D-L-W
Liverpool only lost one time, and the scores were (almost) always tight.
So 2-1 for Liverpool Smiley

I am not a Liverpool fan hence I have limited knowledge about their cup history, but Kloop has lots of champions league experience which will give Liverpool the edge over Tottenham. Liverpool players will remember the feeling when they lost in last year’s final, and they’ll be very keen not to repeat the same mistakes this time round. Pochettino is a great coach but we have seen time after time Tottenham players tend to underperform in big matches, and that’s what makes me believe that Liverpool will win the cup.
Klopp had 2 previous champions league finals and all failed. I think for the third time he won't waste that opportunity again, experience should be able to make Klopp and Liverpool play more calm and attack in the final match. I admit Pochetino is good coach, he can prove that money isn't everything in football, but I hope the experience can bring liverpool be a Champions
571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking profits but don't be afraid! on: May 25, 2019, 09:10:59 AM
I was consider those dropped are more likely just an another corrections price and look at the price in these few days seems it was recovering so don't have to worried about that because until today the price still strong at range $7000 above and i think small corrections is usual in the bitcoin price movement and all we have to do is don't have to panic

In case of Bitcoin,  i would say that don't be panic at all.
If you see the recent growth graph then Bitcoin has already increased a lot.
But the things that is concerned is that, compared to last 3 days the price is falling down.
So now it is not the time to panic.
The only thing is to do is to prey so that Bitcoin keeps on increasing.
Prices fall because many people taking profits, so make prices fall. if you are a trader then you should don't miss that opportunity yesterday. You have to know that such a thing will occur, when the price rises quickly, it is only a matter of time until a correction occurs, and you must be smart in seeing opportunities and making decisions
572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going Back to $7,000? on: May 25, 2019, 08:53:48 AM
I don't think so. Before any bull run the market normally experience up and down until it break the 8000 price upward. It is time Bitcoin is picking up and coming below 7000 USD is a no go area.
I won't be that confident to say that $7k and below is a no-go area for bitcoin.

Every price is of possible until we see heights that are too far from that. But today, we're still on the axis of $7k and it's likely that we can go down anytime.
Of course its possible, no one guarantees the price will continue to stay at $7k, we can speculate that the bottom line is already higher or bitcoin is getting stronger, but we cannot ensure the conditions that affect bitcoin prices will continue to be positive, it could be a bad thing tomorrow happen, and brought down the prices. for now Indeed the price is still stable above $7k, but anything can happen
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sick of high fees Ive moved over to alts on: May 25, 2019, 08:32:56 AM
I used to be in the bitcoin core crowd but after still paying ridiculous fees recently Ive moved over to bch and SV, I Guess this is kind of a rant, but I dont understand who the hell wants to pay high fees to send money to someone.

I think some people don't mind to pay high fees to the network because the amount of withdrawing they made will bigger than the fee itself. Besides that, I think with the higher fee of the transaction, it will get confirmed in a short time and we don't have to wait for long or even days. But it depends on every people who want to use other coins, and we cannot force them to use bitcoin only.
How about a small amount of money, lets say a small player? for which they only transact below 0.01 btc, of course a large fee will be difficult for them. but honestly I don't really care about that fee, there are still many altcoins that have low fees and you can use them for transactions, and I'm comfortable with that
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 25, 2019, 08:17:49 AM
I'm still wondering why developers will organize airdrops and distribute an amount of tokens which is far lesser than the minimum amount of the tokens that can be deposited on an exchange for trading. If you don't want the users to cash out the money, why do you let them waste their time?
It's a bad marketing strategy in my opinion.

Let's say if they sent 1m token to 50k addresses then maybe almost 50k peoples will know about the project and those 50k peoples will probably look for the price and will also try to learn more about that project.

Maybe some peoples will convert and will do promotional works (bounty) for them to earn more of those tokens. And from promotion, they may get investors to get funded up their project.

They send such low amount because they don't want peoples to dump the tokens when they will list the token in exchange. It's just a marketing startegy imo, and win win thing for them.

Not entirely bad, distribution to many people is important to increase the number of users, because if ICO only relies on investors, the number of users will be limited, airdrop will open the opportunity for the project to have more names and links. I think the developer has formulated it well, what is the right airdrop allocation so that it does not have a negative impact on their market
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: May 24, 2019, 12:33:47 PM
I don't understand why everyone is getting so defensive here. Just like there are criminals who misuse the anonymity and decentralized nature of Bitcoin, we have conmen and scammers who take advantage of the anonymity being offered by physical cash. But is it right to blame BTC or cash? They are just a medium for making payment. Just because 0.01% or 0.02% of the users utilize them for illegal activities, we can't really blame either the currency, or its basic characteristics. I say, go after the criminals who misuse Bitcoin. You are not going to gain anything by treating the syndrome instead of the disease.
Right, there is a saying "if someone kills with a knife, don't blame your knife" I think that's the correct statement. in this world not everyone has positive and good qualities and activities. so don't be surprised if there are bad people who abuse decentralization, but then don't blame the system itself?
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs USD - Which one is better? on: May 24, 2019, 12:12:37 PM
These guys have some interesting stuff going on here https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-vs-usd-for-storing-value-purposes/

Today, I would personally pick USD as it can be used world wide and for a variety of purposes. However, if BTC were to stop being JUST a speculative asset I would contemplate making the switch. I like being in control of my cash without having to depend on some greedy bank!

Thoughts?
in this case it is only natural if you choose usd because it can be used all over the world and I will also choose usd for the same reason, but btc will still be my investment ... slowly the btc will be accepted in all countries
In certain aspects and spectrum of course we cannot just depend on USD or just on bitcoin. for example, as you say that for payments then USD are more popular because they are accepted everywhere, but for investment  bitcoin is far more charming for me, depending on the needs and interests you want, moreover we are free to use both of them right
577  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: May 24, 2019, 11:39:26 AM
Lol. Well,  it is all imagination. But it is a possibility. However, saying one would live on cryptocurrency Rather than banks is like saying cryptocurrency would replace Fiat. I don't think cryptocurrency would replace Fiat. Cryptocurrency and fiat  will be  choices by the people. Cryptocurrencies still have its various challenges that is preventing its global adoption. So, for now, I will stick with cryptocurrency and bank working hand in hand.
if what is meant by replacing fiat is certainly impossible, yeah bitcoin is still having trouble getting regulation, and global adoption,
limited use of bitcoin, and other problems. for now of course using bitcoin is entirely something that complicates yourself
578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: May 24, 2019, 11:23:37 AM
I know a lot of people who quitted their day job to trade in the cryptocurrency market.
But it was when the market was good.
In this bear market, they're struggling very hard to survive.
So I think the best way to invest is this :
Have a side job, cut down your expenses, then invest 10-20% of your monthly income in the market. This way you never have to worry about gain and loss and surely you have higher chance of getting rich because the market will recover in the long run!
That is a fact because many of my friends have finally left work in the real world and then concentrated in the crypto world, precisely in the world of trading. trading is one very interesting job because it provides many benefits for the perpetrators. Trading can be learned and our skills can increase when our experience increases. We all have the same opportunity to be able to make a profit, believe Trading can provide success for us all. This is an interesting type of work and also brings us a lot of money.
The market is not always in bearish right? and even in bad conditions I'm sure professional traders can look for even small opportunities to get profit. my advice because trading is risky, and not always the market conditions are in good condition, you have to consider it carefully before quit, the income you will earn will not steady as you get on dailyjob
579  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency lending business. on: May 24, 2019, 10:16:43 AM
Cryptocurrency loans emerged as an increasingly viable alternative to borrowing loans. What do you think about the cryptocurrency lending business?

https://news.bitcoin.com/genesis-capital-processed-1-1b-of-cryptocurrency-loans-in-2018/
this is also a good business to make the profit and giving the loans like with cryptocurrencies is also been profitable for because in future cryptocurrency is mostly the popular payment method and if you got lots of cryptocurrency and then it will be more valuable.
Not really good if the business owner doesn't know how to operate his business. There are certain rules for the owner after allowing someone to borrow your own money/cryptocurrency to make sure they can pay you because once they are gone you can't get back the money to lend to them. And it is not that easy to trust someone behind the internet to be honest.
Exactly, if you don't know how to run this business then you will only be an easy target for fraudsters, I have tried this business several times, it's quite profitable, but some users do use this method to cheat, they occasionally use their accounts for collateral, and I suggest for you to never accept account bitcointalk for guarantee, search another valuable collateral, you don't know how bad the account is, so don't ever receive a risky collateral.
once again if you don't know how it works then this business will be very risky to you
580  Economy / Economics / Re: Why can't we have a good cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 23, 2019, 12:13:47 PM
So basically you want and high reputable exchange that never be a victim of hackings or not possible to get hacked so it will be totally safe for everyone to store their funds? That kind of exchange won't be exist, hackers will be always smarter time by time. Also, everyone are supposed to not storing their assets on any exchanges. You can trade and make profit there but store your assets only on your private wallet.

We don't need to have that kind of exchange as we are supposed to trust no one.
You will never find 100% safe on third parties, they can be a scam anytime, trust no one is a good thing to anticipate any form of hacking so you can be more careful. Exchange sites are prone to hacking and scams. so you have to be smart in securing your account and you have to be smart in dividing your money into each exchange
