561  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMiner Shares & Futures Contract on: May 15, 2013, 12:30:48 PM
I've been watching this thread since it was posted. It will depend on how much of the hardware sales get passed on as dividends this week for this deal to make sense. If the dividends are high then the share price will probably push up towards 2BTC in all the hype and make this a no-brainer for anyone who predicts that this is what will happen.

You need a buyer with a better idea than most of what this weeks dividends are going to be to close the deal, I would assume.

Of course, those that take this deal are hoping that share prices will jump above 2 BTC and making the dividends profit. If no one takes it before this week's confirmation satoshis, the deal will be rewritten for the remaining two weeks and expected share prices.

Thanks for your time.
562  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMiner Shares & Futures Contract on: May 15, 2013, 12:38:01 AM
Seeing as blade sales have started and USB miners to start shipping in a week or two, there are no changes to the contract. All 30 shares in one go.

Please PM if interested.
563  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMINER Blade Sales on: May 14, 2013, 03:58:34 PM
They are the only one you can buy from right now, and actually get your GH/s (the others will deliver before Huh Huh Huh)

Doesn't matter jack shit if you don't make as much or more bitcoins with them as you buy them for. The blades are a losing proposition.

Then you can wait for the next Avalon announcement (people who ordered in Batch 2 in Feb are still waiting) or order from BFL and wait 6+ mos
564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ASICMINER SHARES JUMP 25% LAST 3 HOURS!!! on: May 14, 2013, 02:42:54 PM

Well, it is good news for ASICMiner share holders and hardware buyers. Swings and roundabouts...
565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ASICMINER SHARES JUMP 25% LAST 3 HOURS!!! on: May 14, 2013, 02:04:38 PM
Nice!

I imagine it is people buying in for the dividend tomorrow; I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop afterwards.

Their mining dividends are increasing, also 200 th of mining equipment being made.

i think 3 btc will be seen before july.

it is not like bfl is going to ship any time soon.
I agree that the long-term prospects are very good.

I bought a single share at just under 1.5 a few days ago - I wish I had the BTC to buy more.

Additionally, Avalon is still doing their thing. Batch 2 & 3 customers are hitting F5, waiting to hear the any news for shipment details.

3 days ago I wrote about this issue to support, but still have no answer yet.

Any update on the ticket?
567  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Signature on: May 14, 2013, 03:13:45 AM

And if I win, I want you to put "I'm afroman1131 and I'm stoopid" as your sig

569  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMINER Blade Sales on: May 14, 2013, 02:23:50 AM
How soon do they ship after an order has been placed ?

Based on previous auctions and sales, winners/buyers have received their units within a week of payment. What other company can match that level of service?

574  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 13, 2013, 01:22:51 PM
Oh, please keep the Bitfury OT posts out of here.  Undecided

I'm invested in many mining shares, and AM is the best performing one so far. Getting the chips is just a small part of the equation for a large scale mining farm - imagine the job required to set them up and maintain them, not to mention the specialized infrastructure needed to house them effectively.  Friedcat could pump out a lot of hashes chip-wise, but is limited by the space and infrastructure. That's why he started to sell them for a profit of the shareholders and everyone involved.

+1
575  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Block Erupter USB on: May 13, 2013, 05:30:19 AM
My ASICMINER USB Erupter showed up about an hour ago.

Currently best settings are for anyone wondering while I sort it out:
 --icarus-options 115200:2:1 --icarus-timing short

A pic or 2 Smiley Click for bigger

Edit: the USB chip is: ID 10c4:ea60 Cygnal Integrated Products, Inc. CP210x UART Bridge / myAVR mySmartUSB light

NOW SHIPPING!! GET YOUR ORDERS IN!!

577  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 13, 2013, 05:26:46 AM
Excited for div day.

I wouldn't expect the entire gross estimate; better to have friedcat and co. to keep some to keep that hash power up and running. Anything from 0.02-0.025 would be good enough, use the rest to ensure those payouts stay high and consistent.
578  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Fixed-Price Auction: 50 Block Erupter Blades -ended- on: May 13, 2013, 05:22:56 AM
Update

Here is the payment address of the rest bids.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Al1fvFT7Sd5bdGlXTFQtRllCM2E5Mk01VnRtN2tNeGc&usp=sharing

Please report your name/postal address/zipcode/telephone to John or to us.

Shipping will be executed in the first-pay-first-serve manner.

The demand is beyond our expectations and sorry for all manual inconvenience introduced. Next time the process will be more automatic.

Wow all of them. I did not see that coming..! So if my second blade is within 50 - 100th bid. What is the tentative shipping timeline of that batch (batch 4).?

Update
...Shipping will be executed in the first-pay-first-serve manner...

People have received their units in a week of paying, based on the last 2 auctions.
579  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 13, 2013, 05:00:36 AM

Approx. 6000 BTC from Mining
Approx. 9498 BTC from Auction (190 blades @ 49.99)

Gross Estimate: ~15498 BTC (or ~0.0387 BTC/share)

WOWZA! But I expect some will be invested in ensuring the 200 TH/s comes online in a timely manner

580  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury ASIC? on: May 12, 2013, 04:59:59 PM

You must be kidding about ROI.

They're quite confident about their product too...
