As much as Bitcoin Gold sounds good, I think I'm going to stay with Bitcoin. I do not see why there needs to be another fork, mining is expencive no matter what we do. But I do support segwit2x, because it will improve everything about Bitcoin. There will be a lot of different opinion which will create small panic as we come close to segwit2x. Bitcoin will survive no matter what.

I think that it is possible, and I believe that it will happen one day. Bitcoin was made with idea of becoming world currency one day, and its properties have what it takes. Few changes over the time has made Bitcoin even better. Transactions are faster and cheaper, more and more people start using Bitcoins for paying and not just holding. A lot of people support Bitcoin and using it for trading. I think that Bitcoin has made huge change to how people see currency, so it is possible that one day Bitcoin becomes world currency.

I sold my bitcoin today. I think the price jumped too much too fast. My opinion is that it will drop below 5,000 soon and in that case I will buy back again because i expect bitcoin to increase significantly in the long term.
What do you think??

Why ? people are buying to get Bitcoin Gold. You made a big mistake in my point of view. I also share your opinion that Bitcoin price will go up after SegWit2x, and that it is better option to save your Bitcoins and wait. But as we can see, he was afraid that price will fall even lower after SegWit2x, which is not impossible. People say that we are in bubble right now, and we all know what happens to it when it reach its limit. I share your opinion, but maybe he done well with selling his Bitcoins. Only time will tell now. |

I think that more wise is to invest in Bitcoin. Simply because Bitcoin is stronger and more people support it, therefor we can say that it will last longer (not 100% certainty). Ethereum is good coin too, but I think that on long terms Bicoin is better. Bitcoin is still growing, and fast. In future it could become worlds currency. |

As per for next one month yes you are late but just think of next year and so on,you if you holdind bitcoin today i am sure by next year you have doubled this.And no there are no way bitcoin will be dead.i thing we will figure out some way that one day we can use it without internet and computer also. You are correct, so far everyone who holded Bitcoin for long enough has made profit. In this year Bitcoin price jumped for more than 400%, i guess that next year will be even better for Bitcoin, and not to mention SegWit2x, which will improve things too. That will also have impact on price. Bitcoin has never failed to deliver higher price so far. But forever is a long time, and I am not sure if it will last that long. But it won't go away soon, that is for sure. |

yeah off course but not right now you have to buy next year because next year eth coins has great demand so you try to buy next year it's price is more high compare to bit coin. so once try to buy eth coins and get more rich. i think next is better to buy eth coins for earning profit. many people trying to buying it but few times not working so now try in this and buy eth coins. Ethereum is good and strong coin. Like other Altcoins, its price also depends a bit from Bitcoin, and Bitcoin price will rise so much till the end of this year. With that out, we can say that price of Ethereum will rise too. So tell me, why do you think it would be better to wait and buy it in next year...? When coin have great rate of buying, that means price is going up. And we all know that best time to buy is at lower prices. Therefor i suggest you buy now, and wait for the right moment to sell. |

I am happy as you all for reaching $6000.
But I am worry about the crash in 2018!
Reason:
1- Only bitcoin from all cryptocurrency is moving far far away from all other coins.
2- Ether is moving slowly up and steady.
3- As we are all aware 2/3 of all high profile ICO either are scams, or legally scams to be announced.
4- At least 3 from $50m + raised ICO are having problem executing!
5- EXCHANGES..EXCHANGES...EXCHANGES...THESE ARE THE TICKING BOMBS..
It is understandable to have small dose of fear, who can tell what 2018. will brings. Bitcoin is 1st because it is the best, and because it was first of its kind. There are some really good Altcoins like Ethereum, but they will hardly reach Bitcoin. As far as ICOs are concerned, well there are different opinions about them. It is impossible that all of them are scams. Problem with execution of ICO... well I would say that, that problem comes from not finished project or scam. I am not sure why you don't like exchanges, because they serve their purpose. |

I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?
Of course they invest in Bitcoins. They would not be bilionaires if they didn't go where money is, and this days its easy to make sweet profit from Bitcoin. Maybe not all of them, but I guess that there are those smart ones that see potential in Bitcoin and support it by investing. Reputation of Bitcoin is growing, and with that number of people that have hear and know about Bitcoin. |

I have not used one yet. In my town there isn't any, but there are some in larger cities. My friend have used it few times, and he said it was easy and fast. I believe him, I see no reason why it would be any different than classic ATM. I think that it is good to have some ATMs in case you need fiat currency. But hopefuly there will be more places which will accept Bitcoin as way of payment.

why we need three different version of bitcoin ??
Well we dont really know the real reason behind this but I think these forks is because bitcoin price has become so expensive that there is little than can afford to invest in it. So they created new coins so that many can afford. Well thats just for me. You are wrong, but i can see how you have come to that conclusion. Reasons why there will be two more coins from Bitcoin is because of peoples disagreement with opinions. When people do not agree on things, it comes to splits, and in this case split of Bitcoin. If not that, than answer would be greed. Simply some people are more greedy than other, and i guess that it is also possible that some people left Bitcoin and made another simply because of greed. |

I was watching and reading all about the upcoming forks and where to store your btc during them.
I was wondering if ( i know the asnwer of this question but i wanna duble check with the comunity) is it ok to store btc at freebitco.in during the forks to be safe about your coins. I have read their policy about that and i believe it is the safest bet.
What do you think guys?
I think that is as safe place as any. If you agree wth their way of dealing with Bitcoin during the fork, that there is no problem. Personali i use blockchain and i must say that I am more than convinced that my Bitcoins are safe there. I guess that safest place to store your Bicoins would be offline hard drive... |

For now no, at least not yet. Bitcoin community is still growing, and for people to be able to use it as it was planed more things need to get sorted. Simplest one would be, more places where we ccould spend our Bitcoins. Bitcoin is made to be world's currency, and one day it could become just that.

Waiting for certain percentage is maybe best option of them all, but not every one like calculations. I do somehing similar to that, and that is that I put in mind certain price above what i payed and when Bitcoin reach that poin i sell. Some time I also sell outside those boundaries, and that is when i need fast money.

How think what price BTC will be after SegWit2x?
I think it will fall to $2500 to $3200, when there was the drama involving china the price fell below $ 3600, this time the subject is much more serious and the panic will be greater. so I do not expect price above $3600 I also saved some money to buy when it's time for the general panic I think $6000

And we all know what is coming with that... price drop. But i think that you could be right when you say that price will not fall bellow $3600. First SegWit thought people that if everything goes according to plan and work without problems, Bitcoin can endure anything. And because of that there won't be so much panic in November like it was in August. But there are also possibility that things will not go according to plan, and if that happens who knows what will happen. Also much depends if another hard fork happens. That will change something too. There are too much If's in this speculation. Of course,most people may think that it is yet another fork like the before in august 1 and so things would not be to worry much.SO,they may stay cool and may not get panic.But what makes this hard fork as a matter of serious concern is that this segwit 2x activation is supported my majority of miners who had already signed in NYA(New York Agreement) to activate segwit 2x after six months of period from signature date.Also,big exchanges and many bitcoin related companies are supporting segwit 2x.So,definitely,there will be a big impact on bitcoin price after this hard fork.We would have to just wait and see the consequences of this hard fork. I agree with what you said, I think that there will be a lot less panic than it was on first SegWit. Now people know what they are dealing with. I think legalization Bitcoin will be executed. But you have to wait. Bitcoin is the new thing with Government. They need more time to research.  Yes, Bitcoin is growing so fast and more people everyday support it. But personal opinion sometime does not agree with opinion of our governments, and sometime that is the problem. Bitcoin is serious thing and therefor governments need to approach it carefully. Legalization of Bitcoin will for sure benefit all of us, but bigger question is how it will be regulated. One day for sure everyone will legalize Bitcoin as legal way of paying, I do not see reason why not. |

I think that Bitcoin will alway be above all other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is first cryptocurrency and that gives it a lot. It broke the ice and showed people what cryptocurrency could be or become. Also if it was not the best, it wouldn't have the highest price. Maybe in time it will lose to some other or new crypto, but for now its first.

I think that you are right, it would be nearly impossible to destroy Bitcoin now. It have too much users and a lot of people support it, and those are still growing. One day we will see regulation of Bitcoin in all countries, but that will not happen soon. Bitcoin is growing so fast and it is great to see that. |

i think you can use some money to buy btc or altcoins then choose the right time to sell. That is the way I think of earning a profit quickly. But profits are more or less which is depended on many factors, especially the volatility of the market.
That is not bad way of earning some money from cryptocurrency, but i would not agree that it is fast. By holding and waiting for the right moment can sometime be a long time, like month or even more, unless you want small profit. But holding is easy job, and i support it always. Faster way would be trading or participating in some signature campaign or do some job for Bitcoins. That also pay off really good, if you are high rank and have good posts. |

Banks are very strong companies and I see no reason why would they fear Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Maybe in far future banks will need to do somethung about it, but for now... What is more likely to happen is that banks adopt Bitcoin into their system of trading. That way they won't have to fear anything.

Surely bitcoin can survive. I assume that seeing the recent downfall of bitcoin still we cannot judge the value of bitcoins in the coming years. Bitcoin has a great chance of going up again and people need not to worry about its low price these days. It surely has a great potential. Most probably the survival of the bitcoin will be much bigger. The reason is that bitcoin keeps on growing in terms of adoption as a whole as well in terms of value. Apart from that bitcoin has different forms of usage, so in one form or the other it survives much longer. No doubt that mostly people would be depended on bitcoin use in future. New generation believe in technology and currently we are seeing that the youth is moving toward internet. So keeping in view the current scenario we can easily predict that the bitcoin would be most dominant cryptocurrency in future. Currently bitcoin is surviving successfully in right direction. Yes! So far i do not think that any other altcoin can beat Bitcoin. Bitcoin is growing so fast that amaze me. Price is growing too, which is good for all of us I think. Also Bitcoin has a bright future ahead of it, there are so much more to Bitcoin than just price and making money. Bitcoin could be future money. Imagine how would world look like if Bitcoin was worlds currency. That could happen. I think that Bitcoin can survive almost anything, and if not than legacy of Bitcoin will stay. |
