5641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SELL ALL YOUR FIAT AND LIVE 100% CRYPTO!!!! on: April 12, 2018, 11:01:05 PM
A while ago (2017) there was this Dutch family that sold all their assets for BTC and is now traveling around the world. He had around 500k USD worth of BTC and expects it will at least make 5x in the next 3 years. In the meanwhile, they are living modestly and using 20% of their cryptos to trade.

Would you dare to do the same? Sell all your FIAT for CRYPTO?

Not sure what you said is true or not. Do you have a source? A link or something? Did you try to verify the information? Just using 20% of their coins to trade and make profit to live is actually an unbelievable. They have to be very lucky to make such profits. Whatever, but selling all by assets and converting all my fiat to crypto currencies is something i will not be willing to do, since the risk over here is extremely huge.
5642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep my BTC now? on: April 12, 2018, 10:56:07 PM
Of course you must save your coins, although the price of btc remains low, the btc will rise and exceed 25k, and much more, it is smart to decide to save your btc now
What statistics helped you to come to a conclusion that bitcoins price with rise and exceed $25,000 USD? Did you just randomly say that or are you just "hoping" and "assuming" that the price will reach that level soon? I am sorry, but just hoping and leaving it on faith won't help. You never know whats going to happen in the future. If someone ones to sell his investment, thinking that his current investment is somewhat creating a barrier, he should do it rather than waiting for the price to go back up.
5643  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: April 12, 2018, 10:51:37 PM
Its not like bitcoin or other crypto currencies are changing the whole world or something, but they are bringing some positive  affect (and some inevitable negative affect which we can't blame completely on crypto currencies) on how we handle our finances. It has given has financial freedom and made it easy for us to do transactions outside a given box without any trouble. It has also bought blockchain technology into light and let us know how powerful this technology can be.
5644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k in 2 months? on: April 12, 2018, 08:03:18 PM
Expecting the price to jump and rise around 500%  within two month is actually a little bit too much to dream about. Specially right now, after all those regulations the government around the world is imposing. But we don't know what might happen in the future. We have seen price go around twice within few weeks though.
5645  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading for quick profit on: April 12, 2018, 11:04:18 AM
Making $50 profit a day is actually quite impossible and too much to ask for to be honest. Day trading won't be giving you this much profit, else you will be seeing everyone do that. But if you actually have a huge capital to invest, and be able to trade bulk of coins for small profit, then it might be possible though you will be taking a huge risk, which I think is not worth taking.
5646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the bright future of Crypto? on: April 11, 2018, 08:35:58 PM
I knew about crypto at the end of 2017, after a short time increase and make people crazy to invest, everything is down now. I'm not a trader, i'm just a holder, but i'm still afraid of the sign of market recently. Will everything be changed in next year? or several years later? Can i still invest in crypto?
We don't know what is going to happen next year. As we have seen, this year started with government throwing a lot of tantrum around bitcoin. They started strictly regulating the coins, which has caused the price to drop significantly. Right now, the government stopped being harsh on the rules for a while and we might see the price bounce back up. And yes you can still invest on crypto currencies. Why wouldn't you able to be?
5647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nice jump by BTC today! on: April 11, 2018, 08:30:32 PM
I think only ethereum is making a good move.. Not much movement for bitcoin.. Its just slight pump and slight dump... Nothing special about the market as of now
Its not just Ethereum. Bitcoin price is right now on kind of a stable state. The price was hovering around $6,400 USD to $6,600 USD. Right now the price is around $6,910 USD, and might hit $7,000 USD. If we are able to break the wall and resistance we might be able to see back the price being around 8,500 USD within a week.
5648  Economy / Services / Re: Has anyone used this? on: April 11, 2018, 08:26:20 PM
Definitely a scam site to be well avoided by the looks of it!

What is a card site thought?
A site where they usual sell carded goods. Carded goods are items bought using other peoples credit card, the transactions are unauthorized and the real owner of the card has no clue about it. Credit card fraud, which is a huge crime. Buying stolen goods also put you on risk, so try avoiding those sites.
5649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling for a loss to buy cheaper crypto? on: April 07, 2018, 03:50:34 PM
I do agree. Sometimes just holding is not the only option. You might have to let go your investment and suffer a little bit of loss. If you keep on holding your investment, you might miss the opportunity to invest on other coins which might otherwise have given you higher profit than you could have earned with your current investment.
5650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange? on: April 07, 2018, 03:24:25 PM
Guys is it safe to just put the purchased tokens on the exchange? cause i dont have a wallet in my android app. is it possible that it will be stolen? and claimed to be hacked? Am i doing the right way? Please can anyone help me. Thanks in advance.
Nope. Its never safe to store anything on an exchange. The exchange might get hacked and you might lose all your tokens. Databases might get leaked and your account information exposed causing your account to be hacked without you even noticing. Or the exchange might end up scamming the users. Always store your coins somewhere secure and don't rely on exchanges.
5651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs bounties suck...do not believe them on: April 07, 2018, 02:11:18 PM
Most of the ICOs are useless and just pure scam. They raise money from people and end up giving nothing they promised to the people. Those are the failed(and scamming) ICOs i am talking about. But there are some ICOs which are legit and are trying hard to deliver what they promised. Tokens issued by those ICOs actually do have some real values. Its just you have to choose the right ICO to work for.
5652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RBI ban impact on crypto currency. on: April 07, 2018, 02:08:20 PM
RBI has banned crypto currency in INDIA and given a timeline of 3 months to financial institutions so how much will it impact on price of BTC globally in next 3 month?
I don't think India or most of the South East Asia is deeply involved with crypto currencies. So i guess there won't be a huge impact globally since India does not cover most of the market like China or Japan. There might be a small temporary spike on the price which will eventually get covered and recover.
5653  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy more? wait till 6000 or 5500? on: April 07, 2018, 01:21:23 PM
Technical data hints that it can go down to 6000 or 5500 level.
What do you think?
All those predictions are not accurate, specially based on crypto market. The price is unpredictable. Its better to start investing now and keep investing smaller amounts. As the price starts to fall increase your investment. This way you will be reducing your risk of losing a lot. Anyways the price are now predicted to go back up on Q2. The tax seasons are almost over and people will start back investing on bitcoin.
5654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin for you on: April 07, 2018, 01:18:38 PM
By far what is the best coin for you? Ive been thinking on investing in a coin please share your opinion.
You are better off deciding using your own knowledge and instinct. I would say doing your own research is far better than taking peoples opinion, since they will (and tend to) be  biased towards the coin they have invested on. Use this forum to find coins which are popular and then you decided. If you should invest or not.
5655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: April 06, 2018, 10:56:35 PM
Scam is scam. Even if it is free, once they fail to deliver on purpose it will still be considered as scamming. It does not necessarily mean that money has to be involved for scamming people. You promised to do something, you will have to do it - no exceptions unless you have a very valid reason to do so.
5656  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Amazon GC no longer available through Gyft - Alternatives? on: April 06, 2018, 10:49:29 PM
Last night, I went to buy some Amazon gift cards with BTC on Gyft. They weren't available. I figured it was a temporary thing, an API issue or something, because that's happened before. But I emailed them about it and they responded, "Amazon is no longer available through Gyft." Undecided

Are there any similar alternatives? I really liked having a corporate reseller because you could always trust that their cards weren't fraudulent.

With P2P or things like Purse, fraud is really common, so I'm looking for a reputable reseller like Gyft.
You can try using egifter like omega suggested. I have bought a couple of cards before. Just had an issue once where there was an error with payment. The support team resolved my issue quickly and i was quite happy with their service. You could give it a go.
5657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't it funny that countries are testing their own crypto? on: April 06, 2018, 10:38:08 PM
Recently news are coming about countries testing to bring their own cryptocurrency, which IMO is a joke. Cryptos like Bitcoin was not built just to make it more secured. It was built to make it decentralized, take control back from Governments and give people the freedom they deserve. It seems like Govt. wants to make people think that Govt. have no idea about that. Why do they need to create a national crypto? I want to know one good reason.
To divert people from investing on decentralized coins and start using government made centralized (shitty) coins. The government hates bitcoins and other decentralized crypto currency and unfortunately it has become quite a nuisance for them to control and regulate it. So they chose to spread fear amoung people who invested on bitcoin and make their own coins so people start using them.
5658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to sell all my btc as its too low now :( on: April 06, 2018, 09:42:29 PM
Well I don't think that it would be a good move. You should try holding your bitcoins as the chances for bitcoin's price to grow would be far more than that of ethereum. Also, if bitcoin grows, it would be growing far more than that of ethereum because of it's popularity and demand which are far more than eth. So I think you should keep holding.
Sometimes to be honest, just keeping on holding is not the best option at all. You need to let go your investment (especially if you invested during the wrong time). This way you will be able to cut back some losses and save yourself some money. Another reason to sell is that, your current investment may cause barriers to future investment which might have better potential to make profit than your current investment.
5659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: April 06, 2018, 09:24:10 PM
Too risk to do so,though ethereum is a good platform you wouldnt want to get trapped into something for a long period of time that is why we need to be sure that the market will going to reverse its path before doing all in so that our investment wont be freeze for too long ,because getting trapped few weeks and months isnt really a good thing because you will lose a lot of opportunity to take profits from other coins.
Word. Totally agree with what you said. Just investing and going all in on one single coin won't just keep you trapped on one coin but also increase your risk of suffering huge loss. Spreading out your investment gives you multiple options to buy coins and also reduces your risk of loss (though the profit won't be that high).
5660  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think should invest in BITCOIN now? on: April 06, 2018, 05:47:37 PM
If you think bitcoin and other crypto currencies has a future, then i would say go ahead and invest what ever you can afford to risk. If you truly believe that crypto currencies has  potential to be used on daily basis and will be legally known as a form of currency which can be used to exchange goods, then why wait and miss the opportunity to buy those coins when the price is cheap?
