I have to agree with post above, theres too little on the page. Maybe fit the games into 2 columns so you can display more of them ? It just feels wrong (as it is shown in the new concept), compared to the new one, i actually like the old one more.

583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where can i trade btc with leverage on: April 21, 2016, 05:23:37 AM
I'm actually using bitfinex but i can only trade BTC, LTC and USD, is there any other websites where i can trade with leverage effects that accept bitcoins ?
Thanks.

Something like www.1broker.com ? They have pretty decent pairs and accept only BTC.
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum shuts down forums because $300 / month is too much on: April 20, 2016, 03:25:52 PM
That is actually pretty crazy how do you mismanage that much money.
300$ a month is noting all they had to do was make a post about it and they could raise 10 times that in a hour.

It's clear that they have another reason for closing the forums. But why do they lie ?

And if they lie then why choosing the most stupid and retard reason that nobody believes ?

Exactly it makes absolutely no sense to close it down, especially if users themselves offered to fund it. Something is happening apparently, we will see where it takes us.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happend to Edoncoin? on: April 20, 2016, 03:24:35 PM
Well, acording to this post:

He received 220 BTC through ico.edoncoin.com from one guy and didn't sent it to Bittrex as it was promised. So basically Bittrex was just used for better looking project.

I guess 220 BTC is far more than he expected to get, so he reveled himself so fast.

link for message in Russian thread from a guy who sent him 220 BTC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410868.msg14598102#msg14598102

from the other thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1441655.0

He got away with 220 BTC…

That is a huge amount of coins, more than they hoped for i am sure. Hope there are some clues from the old posts that help find out who they were.

587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] Krypton KR, Ethereum - Based Cryptocurrency with Smart Contracts on: April 20, 2016, 12:12:08 PM
Do you guys think that it's better to hold on to KR? I'm gonna be earning 5KR per 3 days in this avatar campaign. I thought of selling them at the instant I get them. But it will only give me. 0.00025+. Should I hold on to this or nah?

Since the amount is so low i would suggest just holding on to them. Not really worth to sell at this point. Im guessing the price will be going up at some point (be it for a pump or steady growth).

589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: www.gamebet.gg Launches GameBet Coin (GBT) eSports -- SALE OVER!!! on: April 19, 2016, 09:52:25 AM
I'm very sorry for upsetting everyone. I feel just awful now and will take a huge step back. I meant well and understand now that I was getting more aggressive near the end. But I wish I could explain to you how this is affecting me on a personal level. It's much more than anyone can know though. If I explained why, you'd all understand right away and it'd bring you to your knees.

I've had private messages from a dozen people asking me to go kill myself, go F off, to go create fud elsewhere, to go back to school. People calling me every name imaginable from idiot to mentally retarded to attention seeker. Pretty easy to do these things on the internet because people on the internet aren't real right?

I'll refrain from any feed back as it causes too much fud and I sincerely want everyone to do well. Betting is all I have left and can't begin to explain why I need it to pay out properly more than anything right now. You don't know what walks of life people are going through. I ask people to respect that and to drop this subject with me. Your harassing and threatening private messages are actually really upsetting me.

This has nothing to do with you leaving feedback. It all boils down to the so called "investors" refusing to believe that the coin/product they invested in is far from perfect (in its current state). They feel anyone saying anything negative or something that does not praise the coin as new coming of BTC as FUD. In the end it is nothing but ignorance and the inability to understand that the whole point of feedback is to improve the service. And the best way to improve a service is to point out the negatives and things that you believe should be approved upon.
Just spamming the thread with how awesome everything is will not benefit the development process in any shape or form.

If you look at it at the core level, the crowds that build up around specific altcoins turn into cults pretty much. Like a mini religion where there is only one way with one set of mind and nothing bad can be say'd about the project, even tho the feedback is ment to help better development.

P.S I was flamed and i received many threats for pointing out that the initial 10% was too little. After me and a few other guys kept pointing it out they raised it for 2 payouts to balance things out a bit. And for helping the "investors" gain more from the deal, i was flamed, threatened and called a Fuddster. It really shows what the community is like around the whole altcoin scene.

Hi guys, IEC is comming back i've tried yesterday to set up NOMP/uNOMP pool again yesterday but unexpected error appeard - https://github.com/UNOMP/unified-node-open-mining-portal/issues/100 .. Is someone able to tell me where can be error ?
Also new source for IEC will be relased soon(regarding to this i will announce new info as soon as i will have working new source beacause we will need to do swap beacause of so much frozen and lost coins) along with new shop with gold products available only for IEC

At this point it would be easier to let the coin die because the trust that people had and the reputation it had both are gone.

594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: April 17, 2016, 09:15:44 AM
Eth raised more than double BTC than LISK.
also there was no platform for eth created and users had to wait quite a while before eth launched. higher risk = higher reward. by the time they created a novel system and launched they had increased their value over creating vaporware and the unknown. BTW eth launched at 8x, and then hovered at 4x for over 5 months before its ridiculous rise starting in January.
so if lisk follows eth. lisk would be 8x crowdsale price at launch day (160k sat) and then hover at 4x (80k sat) until dapps

ETH may have raised double BTC than Lisk in their ICO, but they used most of it to build ETH "novel system" for 2 years before ETH launched.

Lisk Devs haven't even touched the raised $7m, yet Lisk ALREADY has a superior novel system that's been in development for the past 2 years by Crypti team.

The fact that Lisk is launching in just 1 month after ICO ended AND ALREADY has a completed superior "novel system", is certainly better for investors than ETH launch that happened after making their investors wait for 2 years after ICO ended, and while they may have completed a complicated and useless "novel system", they also had less funds than what Lisk now has at launch.

So clearly Lisk has much better chances at making its dapp platform more popular than ETH dapps, which translates to a higher market cap.

You just posted in the waves topic, you're crazy man LOL

I see you posted in the topic "Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY". That was good!
The post has a relevant level of information, especially the charts.

Thanks! Just spreading the awareness  to promote Lisk.  Btw waves needed a taste of their own medicine lol!

I understand that you feel the urge to shill out of your ass 24/7 but please stop posting the Lisk thread into other threads.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOHK Research and Scorex ARE NOT working with Waves on: April 16, 2016, 07:26:46 AM
Shelby would u please consider not turning Charles valuable topic into a youtube link posting session ?

Lets get back on topic here!

I quote the last important post
There is no gesture to show. One of my employees was listed on the Waves website and represented as a Waves employee. Marketers responsible for pumping waves where posting IOHK whitepapers on the ethereum reddit.

I posted a clarification and then members of the Waves marketing team decided to post links about me leaving ethereum, the head of waves lied about Alex continuing to consult with Waves (he will not continue if he ever did to begin with) and then called me delusional.

As far as I'm concerned this is a closed matter. We have clarified our position and Waves has clarified theirs. If they decide to represent my employees as members of their team in the future, then we will take legal action. I'm sure that won't happen. I wish the project luck and for the sake of the investors hope it all works out

~CfA~

@kushti Did you ever have any formal or informal agreement to serve as an advisor or in any other role on the Waves team, either individually, as a Nxt developer, or as an employee of IOHK? (The latter seems clear from previous posts but best to clarify.)

If not, did you engage in any communications with the Waves team or founders which could reasonably have led them to believe you would serve in such a role?

Pumping this up because every other post has been useless.

I'm probably the only one, but my vote is to start the clock now for calculating returns for the investors.  My thinking is this...if the clock starts now, as people learn about the coin this can be explained as a tangible benefit.  Otherwise, they may just feel it's an empty promise like so many other coins make.

I'm actually of the same thought.
One of the best aspect of this whole thing was the product was already there, working, and everything has been swift post the ICO, so I vote for getting the ball rolling immediately.

Regardless, happy either way  Grin

Incase you missed it, the reason he is asking this.
The 30% profit is for only one payout and it will reduce 33% fot 2 times after that.
This means when they start the clock now, the current low volume will all be a part of the 30% payment. Making it small (since the UI is not ideal and there is no advertising done yet).
So to make it simple. DO you wish a 30% payment from a larger amount or from a lower amount.

(I did not invest) But the sensible thing seems to wait a bit till volume increases. You got plenty of time anyway as 1st payment will come after 3 months anyway so get cosy, plenty of time to go no matter how you look at it.

look up fella....lol

And yeah you do need some education...so read up before you ask anymore daft questions.

http://www.gamblingsites.org/images/how-bookmakers-make-money-infographic.png

What do you exactly mean by that link ? Its clearly stated that GameBet will take 2% as rake from the loosing side. And for them to make 1mil$ they need peopel to loose 50mil$ on the site. Its basic math.
Not that it matters anything value wise, but that is what dogedigital was asking and that is what i answered.

Also 50/50 odds are extremely rare and in e-sports betting 80% or more is put on the side of the favorite. Making gains slower.

What exactly is FUD there ?

I understand that you feel touched and want to defend the coin and your investment. But you need to realize i say'd nothing bad about the coin nor the business plan in that statement. I simply stated things as they stand.

The plan is to soon move to traditional odds betting model, which if you read what I posted tend to get a 4.5% of all bets made, win or lose. You would know they were dong this if you tried to read up and didn't just parachute into the thread hoping to tear things apart before actually researching...

There is a plan to do so, but that does not mean it has happened or that you can make your calculations based of it. (Untill it happens, you can not make calculations based on it). You can't say they will go to 4.5% rake also because they have not stated that in any post.
If they went to 4.5% rake it would mean:
Standard 4.5%+1%+0.5% = 6%
Or with high level investor
4.5%+1.3%+0.65%=6.95%

That would be a rather big amount, not sure how people would react to having ~7% of their winnings taken. So if odds are 50/50 and the pool has 100 evenly split. And they only gain 43 from it.

And trust me i did my research and that is the main reason i did not buy into the ICO and will rather pick the coins up later (which might not happen ofc, the price could very well stay above the ICO price)

Got to love fat fingers man, they happen. ETH showed us just that not long ago on Bleutrade lol.
