61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on blockchain is the future on: November 08, 2021, 12:18:30 PM
Let's jut see how it survive the bear market first before we start hyping them up. The industry no doubt will continue to exist, but the value is likely going to change. Just take a look at the past few years, we've seen a lot of 'adoption' project like ICO/IEO etc but now they're nowhere to be found. Bear market is the best test for them.

I can't see them not doing good. ICO/IEO doesn't really have a similarity because NFT gaming let's of make money by playing games. It's entertaining, fun, and at the same time profitable. ICO/IEO is just based on investing and hyping while NFT gaming base their model on being entertaining while at the same time being profit at a reasonable rate.

Just wondering why developers would come up with nice projects only to crash after a short while keeping investors in losses.

It's pretty common that once developers took profit, they'd probably moved on to the next project and create another scam that would make them money again. It's crypto, anything is possible if you know how to use the tools provided.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if country has fully adopted crypto and they are releasing their own stablecoin on: October 18, 2021, 11:10:05 AM
an example is a country has fully adopted crypto and they released their own stablecoin. they also legalize some other big crypto coins like bitcoin, ethereum, and some stablecoins like USDT or DAI. and you become one of the citizens of that country. which one will you use for daily transactions. stablecoins issued by your country's central bank, or mainstream crypto coins like bitcoin. or privately released stablecoins such as tether. or keep using cash because you are used to it. and give the reason why you chose that coin.

If they released an official stablecoin and it is much more convenient to use than mainstream crypto like Bitcoin, it's pretty obvious that people would use the stablecoin. Especially when we are talking about fees and transaction speed. Stablecoin can have those advantage.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2021, 10:54:57 AM
Do you spend your Bitcoins or just hodl?

Yes

If you spend
What for and do you miss something that cannot be bought for Bitcoin yet?

For other investment opportunities. I'm one of those risky taker type of person and when I see that Bitcoin is going to be stable for a very long time, I'd spend a portion of it to and invest it in other opportunities (like NFTs or DeFi)
65  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 18, 2021, 09:43:18 AM

66  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: October 11, 2021, 07:57:12 AM
I tried the game which is farming, minimum of 5 PVU as of now it is  765.55 PHP which is very low naman unlike the starting it was 1k+. Game is good you just need to farm, convert your PVU to LE (Light Energy) na gagamitin for miscellaneous sa game like pagbili ng pots, water and syempre yung plants or saplings. Their is also a lot of plants in the marketplace starting at 10 PVU.

Mali ung mga nababasa nyong minimum investment is 5 PVU.

Then in 1-2 months, may another plant ka ulit kasi may free 4 saplings everyday (dahil sa world tree).

69  Economy / Lending / Need 0.02 BNB loan for gas fee on: October 04, 2021, 02:22:41 AM
Looking for someone to lend me just 0.02 BNB (more or less $9). I'll send it back as soon as possible once I sold my assets in PVU (I need 0.02 gas fee there to do a transaction but it really won't consume my 0.02 BNB so I can send it back fast.)

If you accept SLP, I'll gladly trade 120 SLP for 0.02 BNB for it.

I'll pay back 0.022 BNB

You send first. Thank you  Grin
70  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: October 02, 2021, 09:55:01 AM

1. Axie Infinity - https://axieinfinity.com/
2. Plant vs. Undead - https://plantvsundead.com/
3. MIST - https://mist.game/
4. Splinterlands - https://splinterlands.com/
5. Monsta Infinite - https://monstainfinite.com

72  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: September 27, 2021, 04:48:03 PM
Bakit sobrang bagsak ng PVU ngayon? I think last 2 weeks nasa 13 dollars pa siya? Anong updates nyo paps? Last time kasi hindi ako pumasok kasi parang napansin ko na yung decline nila and sustainability ng laro medyo mahirap i sustain.

Pwede pa ba pumasok ng 5 PVU lng gamit? Hindi na kasi masakit sa bulsa

Update: Nag simula na din ako mag invest gamit 5 PVU which is 800 pesos lng as of now. Naka swerte ako ngayon kasi naka 2 sappling at 1 mama agad ako dahil sa world tree. Siguro by thursday full farm nako. Wag sana malasin sa crow  Grin.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Two basic things that can give you an advantage on: September 14, 2021, 12:07:09 AM
There are two basic things that need to be implemented when the market suddenly falls like yesterday to make a profit. First, the attitude must remain calm by thinking that it will recover. Second, take the opportunity to buy as many coins as possible, such as top 10 coins.

I wish more people knew this. Most people doesn't really have the guts to take the fall and panics when it happens. They can't afford to lose that they've invested. Probably because of the financial situations. If only people knew how to reinvest when a dip happens, people would have an easier time in the market.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still using DeFi on Eth? on: September 13, 2021, 03:58:39 PM
I can understand it so some degree because ETH has been the strongest smart chain all this time and I think developers doesn't want to miss out on this opportunity to use ETHs influence to boost their project a little bit, even at the cost of a high gas free. If the transaction fees in ETH became too unbearable, they can just integrate BSC as an alternative.
75  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MI4 crypto game in playstore on: September 12, 2021, 02:58:40 PM

76  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: September 12, 2021, 02:39:36 PM
I didn’t have any BTC right now. The last time that I hold Bitcoin was on early December 2020 before that big pump commenced. I still regretted that day when I’ve sold my BTC for USDT. Now I am holding mostly ETH and some of the altcoins that I’m bullish until today. However, most of the coins and tokens that I have in my wallets are nothing but shitcoins lol.

Well it's still not too late to invest in Bitcoin again because we just had a dipped. You might regret it again when Bitcoin reached $100,000 someday. Although it's uncertain when, but the possibility is still there just like how we all dream of getting $50,000 each.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: How would Bitconia look like? on: September 12, 2021, 02:19:55 PM
Some people may thing that there are countries that would do better to adopt bitcoin as legal tender, just like in El Salvador, and in many others bitcoin is widely used for fear of the economic and authoritarian policies of the governing juntas.

However, I am inclined to think that bitcoin needs a country. The value of bitcoin, the community and the influence that exerts could potentially make that possible when bitcoin reaches an even higher valuation (perhaps it would be possible even now). How would Bitconia look like? How would we get there?

I don't really see the point of getting a dedicated country for Bitcoin though because Bitcoin doesn't need any country to operate and doesn't need any authority in order to it to function, that's the beauty of decentralization of Bitcoin. Although there needs to have some regulations to take in place. What I think is countries should accept Bitcoin legally like how El Salvador did.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 vaccination becoming a criteria to live in the world on: September 11, 2021, 03:27:28 PM
That's just how it is. The Covid-19 virus is just too powerful for people who doesn't have that much immunity, especially in this era where unhealthy lifestyle is pretty common. I can understand them because If the countries aren't strict with vaccination, there's a chance that another surge of patients would appear. It's not like it's a huge problem though. You still have a choice to either quit your job or get vaccinated and it's not like it's going to be forever because this pandemic will eventually end some day.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to be a long term holder on: September 11, 2021, 02:28:19 PM
Why do people refuse to take profits when their coins and tokens are surging so high? Should this be called greed or they simply have strong believe that the coins and tokens will worth more in future? Is it wrong to keep holding coins even when they bring 1000x profits cos everyone seem to be talking about 'greed' here and there

Well it's because greed is always involve when it comes to investing, especially in this market where you could make a crazy amount of money and there are some who are actually greedy.

Let's take this instance for example. Let's say Jason tried to invest in crypto x and doesn't really plan to hold it long term. The next day, he made a profit of 100x but he got greedy and waited another day to see if it will go up, but then crypto x suddenly dip 200x and Jason lost.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: September 11, 2021, 01:26:53 PM
I fellas I have two questions to ask crypto experts and investors in this forum today

1. Is this a good time to build crypto portfolio?
2. Do you really think that bear market will be a dipping as 2018?

Now that crypto is gaining more investors day by day and crypto adoption is increasing massively I don't think that the next bear market will be crazily low like 2018/2019, what do you think?

You'll regret not buy now just like how people regretted selling at a loss in the dip during those 2018 huge crushes. Just invest as much as you can afford to lose and hold long term because that's how most cryptocurrency veterans are doing right now.

1. Anytime is a good time
2. There's no way because the support we are having right now is just too big for it to fail. There's already institutions accepting Bitcoin. Even a country made it legal. 2018 dip is not going to happen.
