61  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did you think will happen to Bitcoin before January? on: December 09, 2023, 11:54:44 PM
With my analysis and observation, I think before January there will be an inflation in Bitcoin. This coin have depreciate to it stop limit, that is where it can not further depreciate again.
And whenever this coin gets to this point, it reverses back and then boom and trust me it's about time.
Nobody knows exactly what will happen to the price of bitcoin next year so I believe that instead of the price of bitcoin to be decrease the price of bitcoin will increase to a point that it will be unexpected from my areas of understanding of the bullrun come 2024, so from my understanding concerning bitcoin price, I believe that the price of bitcoin will get more accelerated.
It is possible that the price of Bitcoin next year will rise because in 2024, the Bitcoin halving will occur on April 14, 2024, at 01:09 UTC. At that time, Bitcoin will be increasingly difficult to mine, so the price will become very expensive. Before that happens, it is better to buy several Bitcoins or altcoins that have the potential to follow Bitcoin price movements.
We can expect good rise in the price of bitcoin in connection with the halving. However nothing is assured. For now the price increase is good and it is around $44k. Some form of price correction can be expected which might take the price down to $40k and from there once again we can expect the market to bounce and cross the $50k barrier by January.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: December 07, 2023, 11:59:49 PM
Never set limits on win and wager for it. Next thing be careful with wagering contests, because those contest could end your wallet balance and what you win at the end used to be nothing. Never chase loss, take time and spend. When you were in loss you'll never know what you were doing. The mind will be completely focused on recovering the loss and the same could end up losing more. Take breaks, and make a comeback. At any cost never borrow money to spend. If you don't have money just keep rolling with no bet amount.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people ever get tired of trading bitcoin? on: December 07, 2023, 11:50:10 PM
Trading becomes more enjoyable when we get closer to predict the market in a better way and keep on booking profits. Cryptocurrency traders won't get tired much, because they know well, if we weren't able to make profit out of the marginal fluctuation lets hold it. We can surely enjoy the profit, so rather than getting tired some used to get disappointments going for the wrong selection of shitcoin when they are doing good with the leading cryptocurrencies. This sometimes eats the profit and make traders worried, which is their bad luck.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term BTC Holders Who Still Haven't Cashed Out Any Big Profits? on: December 07, 2023, 11:27:35 PM
i have coins from 1-11years ago
i dont starve,.. instead i travel, i enjoy, i spend, i entertain,

i dont need to spend huge amounts of coin, so why sell whole hoard early
i have many stashes over time i keep separate and just use/spend/play with small amounts of a small stash for my lifestyle

im comfy.. i dont struggle, worry or stress over finances
That's really great and I think you've made the right prediction about the growth of the bitcoin and other altcoins in a better way. Most of us used to be wrong and the same had made us not to hoard. Myself bought Ethereum when it was around $100, but I hadn't predicted well about the future. Sold it when it was around $220 and now how it had grown.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think voting for Bitcoin to become a legal tender was the plan? on: December 05, 2023, 10:43:05 PM
Satoshi innovated bitcoin for a reason, but the people started using it for the good as well as bad. The key element is to eliminate the third party, but now we're heading into the hands of third parties. This is by situation and on the other side the growth have made people consider it an investment than a currency that hold value. Satoshi innovated the technology and the Bitcoin Pizza Guy Laszlo Hanyecz gave value to it. This is the point from which it started its next level of usage, even Satoshi couldn't have expected it.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 05, 2023, 10:29:03 PM
In some cases, when you have an idea but lack money to push forward your idea to the next level, things may just remain there and die also thesame way, except the person work out extra miles ways to make sure that they make it turns a reality from dream, we need money in life generally, we also have to get that idealogy of sustaining what we have an idea on to make it last and not ended a wasted efforts.
That's true, some people have the idea but lack of money and think that the idea is worth pushing through. They see a good future for their idea, and it is such a waste to let it continue to be an idea without making it a reality.

Some people who have the same scenario as this are looking for those people with money and they ask those people to be an investor in their idea/project to have enough funds to initiate. This would be the best option instead of putting it to waste or waiting until the time you have made enough money to start the project.
Same time not every idea gets recognised or reaches the right person. When we have the idea and money we'll have the free mind to think and work further, whereas the idea being funded by an investor we'll be in pressure as the idea shouldn't fail as well as it shouldn't cause loss to the investors.

Crowdfunding seems to be the right choice, when we have the idea and lack fund for implementation. Idea and money are equally important, but the big money out of the idea on success goes into the pockets of the investor. This is how investors create fund and keep investing on new ideas..
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 05, 2023, 10:07:23 PM
Al-Ahli could have shifted Al-Nassr's position if they could maximize the previous two matches which ended in a draw and turn them into wins. But even against Damac and Al-Shabab, whose positions were much lower, they were unable to defeat them. I think the Al-Ahli squad is on par with other strong teams such as Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad but that's not enough when facing a match they should be able to win.

This week Al-Ahli will face Al-Raed who are in the relegation zone and if they still get a draw in this match then they will be even further behind and also more vulnerable to being overtaken by other teams who are directly below them. Firminho and his colleagues must prove that they are a strong team that deserves to compete to win the Saudi League title this season.
I never thought Al Hilal can become this fierce this season, this is basically how football operates. Al Hilal have become one of the very competitive clubs in Saudi Arabia and they're currently unbeaten this season, the players deserved some accolades because its never an easy match for them, facing all these challenges and still standing out strong means something for Al Hilal team and the supporters. Al Hilal is taking the trophy home, there's absolutely nothing Al Nassr can do about it other than hoping for Al Hilal to dropped points in upcoming matches.
Not this season, in most of the season the team Al-Hilal is at its best being on the top position. The presence of popular player have made big expectation on Al-Nassr. The three losses were against Al-Taawoun, Al-Ettifaq, now it is against Al-Hilal and have drawn a match against Abha which is at the 16th position on points table. The season is half the way and in the remaining matches Al-Hilal will be performing better than before. Now the fight will be Al-Nassr to secure its second position on the points table.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: December 04, 2023, 11:12:39 PM
El Salvador President Bukele says, El Salvador's BTCBitcoin investments are in the black!

The president of El Salvador took to the X platform early Monday morning to note his country's bitcoin (BTC) investment was now profitable by more than $3 million following the crypto's rally to the $42,000 area over the weekend.

El Salvador President also said "We have no intention of selling; that has never been our objective," he added. "We are fully aware that the price will continue to fluctuate in the future, this doesn’t affect our long-term strategy."

source: https://twitter.com/nayibbukele/status/1731653743668572498?t=2s_1CkxehqLs4PX2VjYEhw&s=19

His words brief it well, money making out of bitcoin isn't the main objective. He have got big plans with it. From the very beginning he had been strong with bitcoin investment and came destroying all the criticism. At the beginning financial analysts said he hadn't planned well and implemented it. Later the threats came from financial support systems and he never bothered it, even when they pressured to pay the interest on the country's debt. As said he is on a long term plan and I believe the same could change the entire country.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: December 04, 2023, 11:04:21 PM
You can review several speculation threads on this board, there are some market speculations that are not realistic when it comes to market prices that the market could reach the ATH price this month, although the market has a positive impact now from last month but the possibility of recovering to reach the previous ATH cannot be confirmed , the market is bound to experience some correction in this situation due to the significant upside impact, so I am optimistic on the AI prediction that the market will soon reach $45k by the end of the year.
The possibility of reaching $45K is already quite positive, but if that really happens to the price of Bitcoin in the market later, that doesn't mean everyone has to make predictions via AI because this could just be a coincidence. Besides, everyone knows that market conditions are now much more positive than last month, so the highest price this year has also occurred this month, namely $42K. And I also think that the increase in Bitcoin prices will continue even though it has to be marked by several corrections.
For now the price had touched the peak price of the year. If this trend continues we can expect $45k within few days as $42375 is touched and now trading around $42000. Myself have the same thought, what had been come out of the AI is just the coincidence and those aren't going to be precise. Price corrections could happen in large scale close to the halving. Now few altcoins were following the bitcoin trend and when most of the altcoins begins to move along with bitcoin we can confirm the continued bullish move of entire crypto market.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments must have good plan very soon on: December 04, 2023, 10:54:34 PM
What had been said in the opening post is happening around the world. What needs to be the prime way to overcome, corruption need to be stopped. The rich bribe officers and they get their works done on time. There is no need of gifting, but the rich does just because they have. Next time a poor goes to the same officer, he expects something and the person won't be in a situation to give him bribe. Here the poor one's work doesn't get done at the time. I don't say this is happening with every person, but quite commonly we can see this everywhere. Governments engage in large scale corruption, so they never look into this. As said moving to cryptocurrency is a good plan, but people won't unite together easily.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 30, 2023, 11:41:46 PM
The best part of Bitcoin, it can't be shut by anyone. If this is possible, long back itself this could've been done. Maybe at its initial days, this could've been a possible process. Now everything have gone beyond the limits and governments or any authorities cannot do anything. This has been discussed several times whenever a countries takes a stand against cryptocurrency and bans mining within their borders. Those incidents create slight market fluctuation and then moves as things happen regularly.
72  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 30, 2023, 11:38:02 PM
OP is quite good with his act of spreading about bitcoin. As most users have mentioned it can be a risky thing for him, but what he had done is really appreciable. The people who hadn't got any idea about bitcoin will never note it, whereas people who had heard about it and doesn't know much about it tends to know. It is very common to see dollar signs on T-shirts and those doesn't cause to be a risk for the people wearing it. Same as that scenario will change someday, and it is not risky as most people had mentioned.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alt is important on: November 26, 2023, 11:59:51 PM
To have competence and to have better knowledge about cryptocurrency. Whenever there is something new in the market we can see more similar things reaching the market following it. Same as that we've got altcoins as a support system. Things never grow, if there is no competence. In that way altcoins serve as a competing asset.

All altcoins aren't good for investment. We need to know the right one and make the best out of it. There are good number of altcoins that have provided good profit for the investors. With altcoins we can't trust much, for which we need to consider it for short term and book our profit and with the profit we need to go for further investment. This method will not disturb our capital.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 26, 2023, 11:50:36 PM
No need to get too excited, it's just a bilateral series that is considered a testing ground for new talent and at the same, it's audition time for IPL and T-20 WC.

Fans shouldn't read much into it and just enjoy Batriarchy moments with the mix of some exciting young talent.

T20 is more about entertainment and today we saw another entertaining game for the hosts. Top 3 batsmen of India clicked today and that's the reason they gave a huge target of 236 runs after losing only 4 wickets. SKY was not able to play a big innings today and that's fine since top 3 have done the job for everyone.
It is kind of do or die. Even if Stoinis and Tim David have stood on the pitch for few more overs, the match could've changed. T20 can't be considered as the right format of cricket. As said it is kind of entertainment, and it is evident through different T20 leagues happening around the world. Nowadays quite often we can see scores around 220 in those leagues and the same gets reached on chasing. The same team suffers to score the same runs in ODI.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: November 26, 2023, 11:40:22 PM
In my opinion making cash from gambling is not a good option and the statistical probability that you will win every game at every casino is very low. I think winning or losing every game is completely in your head, so your individual tricks are not there. However, we all have some kind of luck so we should strive for what is possible for us.

Yes, it is all about luck. So if you are thinking of making money from gambling, don't. You will only lose money and fall into debt, your property will be depleted. In short, you will ruin your life if this is how you think about gambling. But if you are naughty and really want to make money with gambling, buy a casino or build one.
Agreed, it is all about luck. In some way luck 90% and the learning about gambling is also must. There are people who are lucky to win big. Even after that they don't get fulfilled. This had ended in losing the big jackpots. So, gambling is all about luck, but we should have the learning and the money management to stop at the right time. If not the same could go against us in no time.
There are gambling games that also require skill and knowledge to increase the probability of winning. It's not all about luck, we can say that luck plays a big factor in gambling but if you have skill it can increase your chance of winning.
Skill is a must, if not we'll end up losing everything within seconds. Gambling is luck based and the skills increase the chance of winning, but the same doesn't assure with the winning. Skills helps with sports betting, because we can make better prediction based on the past games, teams involved and the players into the game whereas with casino games we just go with our random choice for the best outcome. Here the outcome is not on our prediction and it is just coincidence. Successful coincidence wins and the other ends with loss.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wedding expenses and party celebrations with Bitcoin money. on: November 26, 2023, 11:32:20 PM
Congratulations on your big day. Another thing Satoshi might be blessing OP from some part of the world. This is one incident and many users could've spend their earnings from bitcoin for many sacred purposes. As OP said his investment had helped him make his big day, if not he couldn't have got married. Maybe thats true, and some times he might be pushed into financial problems and might've ended up borrowing money for the big day which continues to be a trouble forever as one needs to pay the interest.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Mining to Gambling: A Rollercoaster Ride in the Crypto World on: November 26, 2023, 11:22:58 PM
You've shared your story. More hidden stories were there with most of the bitcointalk users. I don't know how why you did this. One should never chase the loss. What you've lost at the beginning is very small amount. Atleast you should have left it for the day. Maybe you could've got it back if you had tried it the next day. Anyhow your wrong choice had made things worse. In the fast moving world it is really hard to survive. Opportunities shouldn't be left, and you've missed a great opportunity and I don't know whether you'll get similar luck again or not. Take this a learning and focus on something else, if not you're gonna loss more and more as you've lost all the money won.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying at 35k? on: November 25, 2023, 11:57:40 PM
Hallo people,

I bought some bitcoin at 26/27/30 and 31k. all profit so far, I am thinking about buying more, but is 35k te expensive to buy bitcoin?

maybe someone else will create a new thread and say at the end of next year, is it too expensive to buy bitcoin at 80k$.
but yes we don't know what will happen in the near future, it seems like you are not used to saving for the long term so if that's the case you can sell it and take a profit.
but if you prefer for long term, i think 35k still cheap.
If the plan is to sell and buy back, then it is good to hold for some time period. 2024 is expected to be big for bitcoin, holding and experiencing the ATH seems to be more joyful than missing out the opportunity. Days back the price have neared $38500 and to cross the $40k barrier is simple. This can happen anytime soon and further the rise could reach $50k before the year end.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something you don't have to forget on: November 25, 2023, 09:54:44 PM
The first thing a bitcoiner should know is that if they lose access to their wallet, they will never get back into it again. So, the best thing to do is make the security of their wallet a priority, like some people who said that in the past, they bought some Bitcoin and forgot to withdraw it from the exchange where they bought it. Now that the price of bitcoin has skyrocketed, they are looking for the exchange where they left their bitcoin. These are lessons to learn from, and also remember the warning: not your key, not your coin. It's a rule that every Bitcoiner must not forget and also let others who are not aware of it become aware.
None thought of the market value of bitcoin growing this high. If they had known it earlier, surely they couldn't have lost their password. It all happened through an incident, when Laszlo Hanyecz bought pizza with bitcoin it started to get value and its usage started. Till then it was kind of token used for gambling and distributed as giveaway. People just received and they never considered it big. Most of the holders just bought or received without knowing what is bitcoin. Slowly the price increase made them look for it, but losing the key makes the fund doesn't belong to them.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: November 25, 2023, 09:46:48 PM
Physical and online wallet founders/makers will be laugh after reading this thread lol, most of the comments on this thread are correct.
Gambling site is the place for us to gamble not saving nor hiding our precious crypto, if I have to choose where to hiding the crypto from my wife then I will choose a trusted exchange than a casino.
Even if we are not a gambler, our degen soul inside might not able to resist the temptation to place bets with those balance.

Also dont forget about the tax, crypto gambling tax is not cheap on certain countries. So it might work for you and some people but not for all.
Well, the bigger the money is - the more we care about the security of our precious.

By the way, if we keep on mind that both gaming platforms and exchanges are centralized and custodial services, some people may argue there is no much difference between keeping one's funds in a casino or an exchange. In either case we do not have a complete control over our money.

Also, I know exactly what you mean when you talk about someone feeling the temptation to gamble money they are not supposed to. It is something which is common to happen, specially to people of this forum who receive campaign payments directly to their casino accounts. I have read about unlucky users lossing their payment completely because the urge you talk about.

i still have some funds in sportsbet for a while already. i was just looking for a match in sports that is worth betting so it's been there like stored for several months already i say i fought the temptation but maybe because i'm more off into sports than chasing my luck with casino games. the ones with the urge and store their coins are likely going to push the button especially when they think the luck is with them that very day.

still storing in casino is worse than one could decide, its not even meant for storing but because there's a wallet, its somehow convenient ffor gamblers.

Agreed, most of the gamblers prefer to have funds in their gambling platform wallet for their convenience and not for security reasons. Not everyone have the control, and here it is good that you have control on your gambling activities. Most of the funds kept on the gambling platform gets lost due to the urge to gamble and not due to security or other reasons. Rather than switching between wallets and to avoid the spending of few dollars worth of cryptocurrency on transaction fee most common gamblers prefer to have the funds on the gambling platforms.
