I appreciate the praise! I stopped baking in late 2013 when I took over User Ops for Blockchain.info. That job took over my life and I no longer had time to bake. I sold baklava out of my kitchen for over four years and decided to close up shop.
Earlier this year I left Blockchain.info. I have more free time now and have thought about bringing the baklava business back. I don't want to make any promises, but it's not off the table. If I start up again it would be a bitcoin-only thing, and I'd likely do something where I only ship specific days of the month so I don't have to work at it all the time.
Again, no promises, but I'll let you guys know if I get bored and decide to bake again. I do miss the smell in my house!

Must be some really good Baklava... I am in for some if he starts making it again. Maybe George was smart and held all those 2012 coins and doesn't need to work these days?
Everywhere I read around here claims it is the best baklava they've ever had. If George was really smart, they would've scaled that business up, increasing profit and could've still kept it going without needing to "work". All things considered, George is smarter than I am if they held onto those coins. Either way, you can't let a nest-egg stop you from chasing your next dollar! yeah... I think of the alpaca socks guy too...cant buy those anymore either  @ least we still have bees bros |

I've got a full 400 gh ANCIENT mining rig that only works w/ half of the boards because presumably the traces are burned through... I don't know how to fix it...but I"m open to picking up a new board if anyone has one available by chance. Here is a pic of the thing (OLD STYLE, THE ONE I'M LOOKING FOR HAS A GAP SO THAT CARDS CAN ONLY BE INSERTED ONE WAY!!! - SEND A PIC IF YOU'RE INTENT TO SELL ME YOURS!):  GIVE MY LITTLE BOOGER THE CHANCE TO DREAM AGAIN!!!: Doubt I'll get any traction from this but I figure it was worth a shot. I'd rather try my hand at solo mining with this single device rather than a horde of 40 blockerupters  |

(i can give them a good home with another 30 on hand..all to be kept for the next 40 years) You should run the ones you have solo mining and see if you get lucky, just for the fun of it. You might win the Bitcoin lottery  not worth having to procure more USB3 hubs - the power supplies for the ones I bought all died already and the USB 2 hubs I picked up before those had died as well...I"ve got a bitfury 200GH(ish - since mainboard is dead... should be running around 400 GH) that would be more better suited for solo-ing...if I can snag a new m-board for it (which is unlikely), I'd definitely turn it on for solo mining |
