What's the point of this platform? On a reputable employer's point of view, the HR department should take care of verifying the information on an application and in any case, if it's free for an employer then why not but if the employer would still have to pay, then the employer should just hire it's own PSV, just saying.
For the fees, it's the applicant who will have to pay in the platform. I'm not sure about the employers though, since the applicant already paid for the information on his profile, there's no mention of the employer having to pay. Well, if there would really be no fees for employers in joining and using the platform, then more employers would be encouraged to join since in other platforms, they would have to pay just to access information and pay whenever an applicant is hired.The question is will it be free for employers? 4.3.2 Peer-to-Peer Hiring Model

I was wondering does bidium focus on a specific job for freelancers? or is it a typical freelancer site wherein all jobs are available? I'm just curious. hoping it reaches alot of freelancers, you don't see a 0 zero transaction fee site everyday.  I dont think Bidium will control the advertisements of job posted by employers, as to which one is allowed and which one is not. As long as they pay they are allowed to post. Bidium will just serve as a freelance job hunting place i think. Applicants can just scroll as much as they want and find the best offer that suits their skills. They have to or else they will be left out because almost all of the exchanges right now are decentralized also at blockchained. Anything on the world wide web can reach anyone in any part of the globe as long as you have an internet access. So that nullifies your point on geographical boundaries under a decentralized platform. Just trying to clear things up here. Having a central authority would mean that the website has the authority to decide what happens on the platform. Being decentralized freelance platform could mean that they can't easily make harsh decision with regards to user accounts since everything is traceable. Being on blockchain is really good for any industry since it gives everyone more options. Also, with this one, since it's cryptocurrency, they can provide lower fees and also faster transactions. In what way "Xbrick" name relevant to its purpose, since it was an exchange? Does Xbrick will similar to building of blocks? I don't think it is an ideal question but most of the time, we need to know what are the significance of a certain project. If I will buy XBC (Native Coin of Xbrick), what are the benefits that I will get?
It's not all about the name of the token or the project but the services and the vision it wants to achieve in the cryptocurrency world. Just remember the saying "Don't judge the book by its cover". The only thing matters are what this project trying to achieve. what ever happen to the project even they have successful ICO, what important is to gather more users to be on their platform. this is very important as this will be the foundation of their volume. can we use XBC as a transfer fee? like BNB to get 50% discount. i think that the ICO of the xbrick project will be successful to their launching soon, because of their platform on which we can now know when is the right time for exchanging and trading. Gathering more users should be a priority for an exchange platform, since they earn from trading fees and withdrawal fees. They should develop a good marketing strategy to encourage more users to trade in their platform. I think the launch of the XBrick coin will be successful since they already have users trading now and they ware future investors of the coin because they would want to avail the perks of using it. In any case, if they are able to deliver their promises on the whitepaper and actually provide the best service at the best price, they would definitely be the first choice when it comes to exchange platforms. Maybe you are right, their token will private but that is only my speculation since there is no more details on this. Well, according to the whitepaper, the XBrick coin would start off being hosted in the Ethereum system, so I think it would initially be not private but I also read that they have plans on making it private. Making the coin private has advantages and disadvantages but for this coin, I think it's just practical for it to be applicable only to its independent public blockchain since they are an exchange site and their coins' main use would be for the exchanges that would happen on their site. |

Why KYC seems to be so important? Almost every crypto exchange now requires KYC for you to be able to withdraw your funds. Personally, I am not totally in favor of it because it doesn't match the anonymity feature of cryptocurrency. I find inconvenient when I am just going to withdraw a small amount. KYC policies have been more extensive and they are very important in financial institutions. According to their white paper they will promote blockchain technology whereas they can also educate the public about the benefits of a blockchain, most of that what I really like is creating university scholarships which is through blockchain technology many students who deserve to get a degree will have a chance to have a diploma.
What's really great about it is that they are already started operations before their tokensale, which means their venture capital raising was succesful and since the platform is already working, they already generate revenue, though minimal from their operations. They intend to use their tokensale just for additional capital and for these kinds of activities, I think they are noble for providing university scholarships through the blockchain/crypto currency industry. Their tokens are to be used in obtaining discounts and rewards on their platform, too. Well, its good to know that, although not all people are aware about the blockchain technology/crypto currency but if they use it to have a scholarship it will become easily adapted by the students which they can support and promote XBrick as crypto currency exchange. This is great for those people who are trying to make a large number of sell/buy order. But how can they make it? I don't know if its possible or impossible to make that large quantity of order on their platform. It's not impossible especially if they apply the best technology existing. What do you think about the part where users create the job or milestones?
It would be difficult for a user if he/she doesn't have a concrete idea of what needs to be done? Users should be able to like take a picture of the problem like literally like wire problems or wall problems. There will be an assistant to help with creating the job/job description, but I doubt it would cover everything since there will always be something new. Yes, the assistant would be able to help when creating known jobs or jobs that is in the system but what if it's not on the system? Systems like that should always be updated, or if possible managed by A.I., like if there is a new kind of skill needed for a work or like a special type of new job, it gets updated. Another thing is what if a user is ignorant or not knowledgeable on common repair terms, taking a picture would greatly help. If not AI, they can like create a general community where people can post their problems or those pictures and also give assistance when creating a job. Anyway, they will get contractors proposals and have the opportunity to have an agreement, or have their minds meet. They can explain everything they want there. Won't the contractors have an ability to take advantage of the situation since the user is not knowledgeable? That's possible. He won't be able to give a bad review since he doesn't know what has been done might not really be that good. They can do a random quality check? Like a team to check on one contractors work every so often and see that it has been done well, just to ensure an always good job. That would be good for the brand as well. I think a dedicated team assigned to this area and a reputation system in place can checkmate this problem and fix it. A quality assurance team is a norm in the corporate industry. |

It seems that they will be using GUI for that part. I read about the automated process that is continuously learning and I think they probably employed the statistical information they gathered there in forming the GUI. Now I'm wondering how much of a friend will it be cause it says it is gonna be very user friendly. For the young ones, it would be normal, but for the non tech savvy, many of them had trouble transitioning to new OS or switching to new smartphones. A user guide would be appropriate(though I doubt it would help old people), FAQs page, step by step pop up assistance like whenever there's something new in fb. They should keep the SMS and call support that they used to have. They should add chat support and email support if possible. Once it has been launched they should put in tutorial videos including walkthrough on their basic processes. A schedule of group tutorial thru conference call? maybe for contractors? That gives a chance for questions. I think it seems too early for those kind of things? |

This sounds great! If this is played right, this can possibly bring in real estate investors to investing in crypto because this coin would protect their house renovation/repairing budget from fraudsters and low rate contractors. Thanks for the post, I'll definitely research this further.
Would you want to have platform like Bob’s in your place too? I really wish we also have like this in my country where every contractor, carpenter, plumber, electrician, technicians take advantage of their clients need. Just because clients have no other choices so they take advantage of it. Yes of course! In my country, it is hard to call a skilled workers in urgent. Usually, most of the carpenters here in my town are incapacitated to repair the house properly. Sometimes there are damage in their work because they are lack of skills, they only know the basic. Not to degrade them but this is really what happens in my town. In Bob's repair, clients has assurance that the skilled workers have expertise on their work. They can easily manage if there are troubleshoot and aware of the unnecessary damage. Lol! They are not just unskilled they are also skilled thieves. My personal experience tells me this. They offered to buy the materials needed and they took the money with out coming back. This is because they are not known poeple to us. I think happened because you trusted them too much. That is also the problem if there is no legal agency or platform like bob’s ho holds personal information of the contractors for the protection of the costumers or clients. Why did you accept their offer? Without guarantee? Yeah, it seems you trusted them too much without checking their credentials. Good thing this kind of problem will be solved by Bob since it will be using escrow service and smart contracts. Consumers and contractors are traditionally not protected against the other party failing to fulfill the requirements of their home repair agreement, intentionally or unintentionally, so Escrow would be very apt in this case. Nowadays, to hard to trust people especially in terms of money, they dupe others for the sake of money, they don't even consider the effect of what they did. Bob's repair is the best company that i hope in all country is available so that the people will choose the right and feel comfortable while repairing things that they want to repair. Using escrow guarantees that the money won't be lost and is refundable, but isn't it inconvenient in case you would have to create a new job for the unfinished part? |
