61  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: December 12, 2019, 09:25:00 PM
Love what you do (honestly), but 2BTC or $14,000.00+ for a wallet is INSANE!!  Sorry to be the one to say it, as I am sure plenty of us here are thinking it.....  Then on top of it I'd be forced to put a significant amount of BTC on them as well.  You may have overthought this one sir!!

As beautiful as they are, I personally would NEVER even consider one of these for those prices.

Best of luck with this sale.
this isn't a wallet.  its art with btc on it.  there are plenty of wallets available for that specific function.
Ricky Allman will be one of American great painters in our life time (he is already but less known today)
his art, which is what these are, is going to be worth a ton.

these are not serials 1-10 either.  you’re offered a 1/1 piece of art merged with bitcoin. a singular item.
these are designed for art collectors and misunderstood.
but, yeah, it’s not cheap as a result and thats probably by design.

regarding mint condition question.
some did ship with some production scratching, however, the VAST majority have not been handled properly to keep them in mint condition after receipt.

they can not be mint unless they were never handled with bare hands (oils, stains etc...)
also most had been taken out of any protective sleeves/casings and they came into contact with other surfaces which added scratches and residues from whatever it was in contact with.

getting a true mint condition is hard and you have to trust the seller telling you so...

some of us did take great care of them and never handled them with bare hands and never took out of protective sleeves, but we are few

66  Economy / Collectibles / Re: How do we find Cas coin redeemers before they redeem? on: September 21, 2019, 06:41:00 PM
Hi All,
So looking at the site rusbitcoinuser built which is at...https://casascius.ludvigart.com and it got me thinking is there any way to raise greater awareness for people who are considering redeeming? I mean just for an example in this month alone 2 series 2 5btc coins were redeemed not to mention a couple dozen other coins that I'm sure may have stirred some interest here for buying them. If they knew they could sell them here not only might we get some new people in here to unload their coins we might build this community even bigger for now, tomorrow and beyond. I personally would have been interested in one of those series 2 5btc coins. I'm sure some of you would have been interested in some of the others that have been redeemed in the last few months or even this year. So is there anyway we can get more people to find this site before they redeem? I mean if someone must redeem and just doesn't wanna deal with the headaches that's fine but we have an amazing setup here with plenty of reputable escrows that can mitigate their risks and everyone wins. Just thinking out loud here and would love any and all feedback! Thanks for reading. Looking forward to your replies.

1TEN? Pretty sweet one. I'd say 4-digit blue requires 4-digit $, but that's my guesstimate.
That would be 1 whole btc at the moment?  Cheesy

I doubt anyone would pay as much as 1 BTC. Something between $1k and $2.5k seems legit when looking at ebay prices and the extreme rareness of these stamps.
Thanks! Appreciate your input/research!

Only 46 are known to exist

I don't know what it's worth, so please don't ask how much, I don't know.
I am taking offers to decide to let it go or not.
