How quiet is it?  If the shipment can be split into 5 parts why isn't the minimum order 8?  Surely you are trusted enough for this?
to make it easier for folks to pool together or to run a group buy.
I don't get it.  You are selling these or someone else?  Isn't it going through you anyways?  Or are you not guaranteeing delivery?   Also do you know the db rating on these?
Huh how does one come up with "Or are you not guaranteeing delivery?" statement on this thread??? really???

Does price comes with shipping included?
Yes and shipping is via UPS.  shipping can be split into 8 units or more at no additional cost.
For example, a 40 unit order can be sent in 5 shipments, addresses can be different.

Does not need Pi, uses a custom controller, Ethernet:

As far as I know, yes.

If there's enough interest for a GB, I may be able to front the funds for 40 to get the GB ready.
you have someone interested in 4 already Smiley

Anyone else think it's time for a new round of shareholder questions?

Seems like the last one was ignored/forgotten and the conference didn't really reveal much.
Geez!! Again???
1049  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: The points of ASICMiner official Mine machine's launch conference on: August 02, 2014, 03:59:48 PM
Any mentioning of pricing for 1th miner?
1050  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 02, 2014, 03:40:18 PM
This was interesting, haven't seen it in the thread.

be300保守说年内出。可能提前。

Translations:
be300 conservative says the year. May advance.
Be300 conservative say year out. Possible ahead of time.
300 be conservative said that during the year. May be ahead of schedule.
I think this means this year... And ahead of time could indicate October?
1051  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 02, 2014, 03:12:40 PM
The 15% reference, is that for self mining pool or 15% of total hashing power contributed by AM BE chips?
It's isn't clearly spelled out as far as I can see
1052  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 01, 2014, 10:10:13 PM
~8 hours until the conference. Anyone here confirmed to be going?

Rockminer is producing T1-BOX, based on ASICMiner released specs (X24).  It doesn't look like X24 however.  It's repackaged to be quiet and cool.
Specs:
800Gh/s, 96 chips, 1000 Watts (due to chip density) 4 x 6 pin PCI-E
25cm x 25cm x 20cm, weight is 8KG

price: $645 per unit or less (see below)

shipping date: August 11th

500 400 units are available for sale.  Payment via bitcoin or USD (wire transfer).

Minimum order 40 units. price $645 per unit.
For orders of 100+ units, price is $615 per unit
For orders of 200+ units, price is $580 per unit - 200+ pricing no longer available

1055  Economy / Securities / Re: 0.19 J/GH - CoinBau looks for investors in German mining technology on: August 01, 2014, 09:01:30 PM
This is a nigerian scam unless you can prove that W/Gh/s

How can they prove the W/Gh without a physical chip available?
So technically, they could make this claim based on simulation...
However, I've seen several chip design teams get burned by simulation

Even a couple current TOP chip producers experienced this...

But this time, it's different, right? Smiley
1056  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICrising starts CoinBau: Large-scale mine with world’s most efficient hardware on: July 31, 2014, 07:21:30 PM
sounds to good to be true
you think???
1057  Economy / Securities / ASICrising starts CoinBau: Large-scale mine with world’s most efficient hardware on: July 31, 2014, 06:56:29 PM
what is your estimate of 15% in 2016?

DRESDEN, GERMANY – ASICrising GmbH has developed the most power efficient mining hardware on the market, we are going to build the most profitable mine. And you can participate.

The ASICrising GmbH will become CoinBau AG, a German incorporated company, selling shares. Your advantages as a shareholder of the mine are: CoinBau will produce its own hardware, avoiding any margins for hardware developers. No selling costs or fees for brokerage as in cloud-hashing scenarios will come up. You will partially own the mine, the hardware, the profit, a constant proportion of the global hash rate with always up-tp-date hardware. We will not make profit as long as you don't.

Seems too good to be true? German engineering makes it possible. We are ASICrising, a high-tech start-up located in Dresden, Germany, the centre of Europe’s largest microelectronic cluster, Silicon Saxony. Founded in July 2013, ASICrising is a team of experienced electronic system engineers, with top expertise in integrated circuit design, PCB design and software development.

We taped-out our 1st generation 28nm Bitcoin mining ASIC in August last year and developed a 1.8 TH/s mining rig based on that. The complete ASIC and rig development as well as the manufacturing of a limited number of engineering samples was completely financed by ourselves. For more information about our hardware and us, have a look at www.asicrising.com.

In the last 6 months, our team of chip design experts has worked hard on the second generation of our ASIC. The result is a 28nm custom implementation optimized for extreme efficiency. The design is now ready for tape-out to be manufactured in volume at the GLOBALFOUNDRIES fab in Dresden.

This ASIC will be the world’s most energy efficient solution for Bitcoin mining. Based on record-breaking 0.19 W/GH/s at chip level we will realize Bitcoin mining hardware for datacenter usage with a performance of 4.8 TH/s per 19” case and a targeted energy consumption of 0.27 W/GH/s per case

We will operate this hardware in an own mine. Our target is holding 15% of the global hash rate in 2016 and keeping this percentage long-term.  To finance the setup of this large-scale mining operation the ASICrising GmbH will become CoinBau AG, a German incorporated company, selling shares.

Take the limited offer and subscribe now to shares of CoinBau AG, one of the future Bitcoin mining market leaders!

1058  Economy / Securities / Re: AM Self-mining on: July 30, 2014, 11:25:10 PM
When AM's percentage of the network hashrate fell to near 0, solo-mining was pretty much a waste of time resulting in no dividends. So how would you prefer AM's mine to operate?
that depends on the total hashing power

1060  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Reprogram USB Erupter just to flash LED on: July 29, 2014, 05:54:32 PM
Hello,
I'm wanting to reuse a usb erupter to make it into a LED flasher.

I've figured out how to use arduino uno and get code into the at tiny chip but it only turns the LED off.

Is the LED connected right to the ATMEL chip and what pin?   I use pin 8 in code and it makes the LED go off but it won't blink.

Does the LED get turned on by the BE chip?

Maybe I have to use a real AVR programmer and just C instead of the arduino method?   I thought it would be cool necklace.

Good day.
bfgminer has an identification feature for the erupter.  probably what you are looking for is in it's code.  Also, Luke-Jr might be reachable regarding this if he's not too busy
