That is some serious garbage page you have posted.  Trying to post to my calendar app as well as all kinds of ads blocked and other garbage.

well they are using trademark images infringing on Viacoms ip with there little ad above.  No they are not licensed to use this charater but there it is.  I would not trust any group that isnt smart enough to understand ip infringement of charaters on thier ad sheet.

If they violate that…..they have no issue violating other laws.

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Pi mainnet on: August 23, 2022, 09:20:58 PM
pi is worse than shitcoins,
I don't want to sound like the defender of them shitcoins, but don't you think that if there's someone already interested in buying this Pi at $0.3, for someone who has been accumulating theirs over the period of time the mining has been on, and they now have enough, If they decide to sell to these people willing to buy them, it means they have made something, even if it is not big from this coin that almost everyone considers to be a shitcoin. Undecided

A quick google shows Pi netowrk is trading for $0.0000321 USD.  Total world wide volume shows under $200 so no its not really a network and its not really mining and its not really worth anything.

It is ranked as #9707 on crypto.com.  Coinmarket cap agrees.

Its at best a bad joke.

Somebody doesnt realize TON little side venture into mining is over.  Was never really mining to start with.

Really dude google “Can you still mine TON?”

But appears you havent posted since 2018 so i suspect you will be spamming makware soon as account is probably no longer controlled by original user.

ETHPoW vs ETH2

"Merge Trading Strategy

As ever with these potentially contentious chain splits, the Ethereum merge provides an exciting trading opportunity. A possible “risk free” trading idea is as follows:

Before the merge, convert all your USD into USDc in your own Ethereum wallet
As soon as the merge occurs, sell your USDc on the ETHPoW chain for ETHPoW coins on an onchain decentralised exchange such as UniSwap or Curve
As soon centralised exchanges enable ETHPoW deposits, sell all your ETHPoW for USD
Profit!
"

https://blog.bitmex.com/ethpow-vs-eth2/

And what happens when ETHpow doesnt get listed on any real exchange…..

You are pushing this ethpow like it is anything but a zero value coin.  Currently its price is $0.

Ive saved this thread so we can review after the eth merge how wrong (or right) you are.

My bet is you are completely wrong.
This is an article from the crypto exchange bitmex.com blog.
This coin will be traded on several exchanges, according to the announcements. I am only interested in this coin for mining if the profit is higher than on other coins. But I do not think that its price will be higher than the price of Ethereum Classic.

Garbage exchanges maybe at best.  Yet here you are trying to pump it and get people to mine this garbage.

Welcome to EthereumPoW
The original Proof of Work Ethereum initiated in July 2022, developed and run by community, the technology that powers the cryptocurrency ETHW and thousands of decentralized applications.

What make this special? Kaspa was also hyped in the past, now it can be mined by FPGA.

The Original Proof of Work Ethereum? What does this mean? ETC is the only original ETH Blockchain, ETH is a fork from ETC. Is this a layer 1 Blockchain?
thousands of decentralized applications - i don´t think so or anyone knows an application on ETHW and founded in july and now it has thousands of applications running on it - sure sure and i drink coffee with santa claus every sunday.
After some research - this is chinese ponzi coin and nothing more. Homepage sucks - no real usefull informations.

Scam or shit, don´t waste time or fall into the trap.

Exactly this.

It should.  I have a couple of rigs with these in them and work fine.  Your milage may very as there are many variables but they are cheap enough to try.

Interesting timing of this release  Roll Eyes . What I would like to know is what memory capacity this E9 has ? anyone know?  its not in the specs on the website I noticed.. which is not cool.

If you look on Bitmains site right near the top of the overview for the unit states 6GB memory.

Im not saying its any deal at all.  Just that Bitmain is selling them and quoted the price.  As always DYOR..but no i wouldnt buy one.

Why not just go to Bitmain.com and see for yourself from Bitmain.  Looks like $9,999 currently.

Oh look another brand new register with zero merit and 1 post claiming hes being maligned but the truth is PM is safe always has been … ive run it for years….no issue.  You should read the almost 500 pages of this thread and understand PM has been attacked and maligned many times by the likes of you and never has it proved out true.   Maybe read more type less…until you have something helpful to add.  The person you are defending d/l the virus from either a bad link (not from OP) or from another source.  PM has made far more coin with the % from miners than would be gained by compromising some low post count miners computer.
You know people can lurk, right?  New account doesn't make me wrong.  You spamming senseless replies like this one doesn't make you right.  People jump to ad hominem when they don't have a logical argument to stand on...

If you bothered to try and understand my comment, you would see the words you keep repeating don't make any sense.  The warning they got was from the link in the OP, as has been reported by multiple people in this same thread.  Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.  I'm not saying it's a virus.  I'm simply saying it's flagged as a virus and being treated as such.

From your comment history, it does seem like you usually try to help people.  The personal attacks just makes it look like you're shilling hard at this point.

I don't recall seeing this AndroidOS/Multiverze malware with my older version of PM.  I'm sure it would help others out there to see an explanation of why it might be happening with more recent versions.  Especially with the shade being thrown by NiceHash, etc.

Please point out the prsonal attack and note pointing out the age of your account and post is not a personal attack…its a fact.

You are spreading FUD by stating that PM should explain why you think there is malware in it and claim you d/l it from the site.  That is FUD.

Ill be the first to say be careful of what you load and what you use and where you get it from. The file was either from a non OP 1st page link or it was from another source which are both much more likely since currently its been 0 times from PM in 5 years and untold total downloads and rigs running PM.

Ive just rerun all recent versions through virustotal and zero hits / flags.  You either didnt use the OP link or you already had it on your system.

You do realize that PM provides .asc with hashes to confirm you are getting the real thing.

Windows gives many security warnings after downloading latest version PhoenixMiner_6.2c_Windows from first side in this thread.
is this normal behaviour?

Hello. I'm having a problem. I downloaded Phoenix 6.2c for Windows as i always do from the link in the first page of this thread, and the trojan AndroidOs/multiverze infected my computer. I think it is some kind of ransomware. After i rebooted My PC i couldnt even log in.

Well you didnt get it from the official site (the virus).  The files are clean … you can check them.
You can read here but most likely you opened an infected email as it is how it spreads most commonly.

Here is info on it and how to get rid of it.  https://howtofix.guide/trojanandroidos-multiverze/

And way to go maligning good mining software due to your lack of diligence.
I downloaded the miner for Windows from the link in the OP, as you yourself suggested.  I see the same "Tool:AndroidOS/Multiverze" warning in Windows Defender as multiple people mentioned in this thread.  It is clearly coming from PhoenixMiner.exe.

Good security means questioning what you see.  A good download one day can be switched out for malware the next.  You shouldn't be so condescending to people trying to practice good security.

Sure it may be a known false positive warning, but it wasn't listed in the OP and it obviously wasn't known to you.
