61  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion: Who is going to fill the gap of Chipmixer by the end of year 2023? on: April 05, 2023, 06:33:18 PM
Regardless of whatever marketing campaign they started with, I guess no one will make it unless they are engaged in the forum and take feedback, and suggestions to improve their quality to ensure better privacy. I haven't used either of the mixers but it seems someone is trying to dominate & you know which one I mean. They are actively engaging with the community, feedbacks are good as well. So, I guess they are going to take over the place.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do women engage in crypto trading on: April 05, 2023, 05:44:10 PM
The question itself is a bit stupid, to be honest. Maybe males are participating more highly than females but that doesn't mean females are not in crypto. You will be surprised to know that female traders are outperforming male traders these days. I have read the news last week that females are doing better than males in cryptocurrency trading in Singapore. I can't find the link right now.

Just got the link. Here you go- https://cointelegraph.com/news/singaporean-women-outperforming-men-in-crypto-trades-survey-reveals
63  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Birthday Satoshi! The Creator of Financial Freedom! on: April 05, 2023, 05:30:44 PM
Where did you get this birth date from? From P2P foundation? I can't remember if I have seen a birth date there. Considering how much privacy he maintained that we couldn't trace him, his birth date can be faked too LOL. If you have any other sources, feel free to share. Sharing such an info would help finding Satoshi Nakamoto I guess.

BitcoinOWN. Thank for raising such great idea.
65  Economy / Gambling / Re: Past Experiences with histakes.io ? on: April 04, 2023, 10:27:51 PM
I have just heard this name. I don't play in a lot of casinos & that's why I'm not much familiar with most of them. Nevertheless, I guess you have been scammed for sure. I had a quick check on the internet and found people complaining a lot in Trust Pilot- https://www.trustpilot.com/review/histakes.io
66  Other / Meta / Re: How to get away with posting off-topic replies. on: April 04, 2023, 07:16:33 PM
True sometimes and it's not only about the Reputation board. I have faced the same issue in the Gambling discussion board as well. A well-reputed established forum member has derailed my thread with off-topic nonsense. I have reported the post twice IIRC but guess what; moderators didn't give it an F. I can assure you that the response would be deleted if it has been posted by a newbie or not an established spammer.

69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone here tried Gambling Arbitrage? on: March 31, 2023, 05:30:46 PM
I guess most of the bookies don't allow you to arbitrage bet. You may have some trick to bypass them but if you aren't applying that trick, you will get banned most likely. You can check out the scam accusation board. There are a lot of scam accusations from different players but I'm sure that most of them abused the casino by having arbitrage bets. Though a casino has no way to detect that, FYI, providers can easily identify and confiscate your winning.
70  Other / Meta / Re: What will happen tomorrow? on: March 31, 2023, 05:20:48 PM
Pretty sure on April 1st I will be promoted to global moderator and go on a massive banning spree of everyone wearing a signature, including myself lol.
Ban yourself first LOL. Create an alt to have a ban appeal.
71  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: March 31, 2023, 05:18:28 PM

Is askgamblers really that reliable in mediating such issue?
It's the first time I read something like this will happen in bitcointalk where both party will ask askgamblers to be in the middle. Won't they ask fees to resolve the issue too?

If it were to be solved quickly coinplay could just give the winning after all it seems the pieces of evidence are telling OP is doing it right. No violation.

They are quite familiar faces in the casino industry. They used to value real players' opinions when rating a casino.

We meant to say that you should open a complaint on Askgamblers, where we both will provide the necessary details for them to review your case.
That's a great step from you. I really hope you solve the issue & prove that you aren't another 1xBit sister site. Well, you can consider sharing the proofs with an established member here so it gets easy for you to solve the issue here and save your reputation. Please confirm that you are going to honor Askgambler decision.
72  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: March 30, 2023, 06:55:35 PM
Ofcourse I do place bets at reputaple sportsbook too. I have accounts at about 50 different sportsbooks. But if I don't encounter a problem, you will ofcourse not hear anything about it. Yes, sometimes I post a compliment to a sportsbook in their ANN thread, but ofcourse you only see a scam accusation topic opened about sportsbooks where I have a problem with. Btw, with Owl and Buff the issue was not sportsbook related, but they thought I was from a forbidden country when I wasn't. The only sportsbook issue I had was with Wintomato, but they agreed to pay me out after a long discussion.
I guess I don't have the right to know but once again I'm asking though you have skipped answering that part of my post/question. What is exactly influencing you to switch/try new casinos a lot of times when you know they can be outright scams? In fact, you have been the victim; this isn't the first time. All of your previous cases had the same approach which brings a concern but I'm still trusting your proofs attached above; you seem to be a trusted guy as well.
73  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising on the forum no longer supported? on: March 30, 2023, 06:37:47 PM
According to the ads stats(https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adstats), the current round is already on 358 (January 28 to February 27). I believe Theymos is only accepting an offer and not through the form of ad sales auction like the previous version.
None of the slots are rented by anyone. All the slots are filled with text. You can check more information here- https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adinfo
Rounds are getting updated automatically as theymos didn't remove the ad slots from the forum. Currently, 9 slots are filled with the below message & the other one is a factoid slot as we had back in the day.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.
74  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising on the forum no longer supported? on: March 30, 2023, 06:27:05 PM
Read here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5407725.msg60976136#msg60976136

But if someone is still interested to advertise, they can reach out to theymos and share the details though according to theymos, the chance is pretty low. The ad sales is probably ended forever. There are basically three reasons for this decision-
1. Time-consuming to check out if the service is legit or not.
2. Ad processing complexity
3. Bitcointalk has more than enough fund
75  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: March 30, 2023, 05:41:17 PM
My bad if I sound stupid!
I just had a visit at OP's profile after reading what coinplay told about your previous accusation about other casinos. You had almost the same problem with owl.games, wintomato, buff.bet; none of these are reputed casinos & coinplay as well. Don't you place bets in reputed casinos? Have you ever encountered such issues? If you haven't, what has influenced you to switch casinos all the time and try new & less reputed casinos? I don't want to conclude anything so fast. Your accusation seems solid with the proof you presented. Can you please share us why you are influenced to check out a new casino all the time despite facing such issues all the time?
76  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any problems with *CHIPMIXER* coins? on: March 30, 2023, 05:11:06 PM
For small amounts of Bitcoin, this is definitely not a problem. The problem will be with large amounts, which are naturally attractive. My question is, can it really be completely hidden?

The question is another way, if the exchange suspects any user who has deposited a large amount of Bitcoin and does a deep analysis of the deposit address, wouldn't it be able to tell that the Bitcoin came out of the mixer earlier? Even if CoinJoin was used in the last wallet? this is the question.

It is true that this costs a lot of fees but it is still possible if the exchange wants to do it, right?
Exchanges will only know when the related input is connected to any of the known mixer addresses but that's very much unlikely as Mixer won't do that mistake knowingly. Binance had once frozen a transaction from ChipMixer (or any other) though later they released the transaction. If they want to know if someone is using a mixer, I guess they can through the help of on-chain analysts & I guess exchanges use such services. Otherwise, how on-chain analysts are making money  LOL.
77  Other / Meta / Re: What will happen tomorrow? on: March 30, 2023, 04:58:22 PM
What about a new mixer getting launched? I don't see a lot of negativity for tomorrow; I don't expect it ever. We are going to have new mixing site endorsed by bitcointalk and theymos. The name will be BITCOINTALKMIXER.com for clearnet and bitcointalkmixerdoesntexistinrealityyouarebeingfooledasthisisapril1st.onion for TOR. There will be a signature campaign managed by theymos & payment will be automatic with Bitcointalk NFT minted on Binance Chain (you know the fee is cheaper there, why spend a lot).
78  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance sued by CTFC on: March 30, 2023, 04:37:59 PM
Now Brazil too, but before we had also India's investigation over alleged money laundering with WazirX (owned by Binance FYI), Singapore, UK (?), and more.
There was an argument a few days back that Wazirx isn't owned by Binance. I was surprised because Binance announced they have acquired wazirx long ago but last year, they announced that they didn't because the acquisition was depending on some agreement. I haven't followed the update though. Well, it proves they are basically having stupid activities everywhere. Good to see that they are being monitored. Would be happy to see their domination getting minimized.

I would say to CZ: you're a lier and hypocrite. You cause more damages to the cryptocurrencies than somthing else.
He is a liar, indeed. We all used to know Wazirx is acquired by Binance from their announcement and now, they say they didn't. Can you imagine LOL?
79  Other / Meta / Re: staff were asked to stop advertising mixing services on: March 29, 2023, 05:10:00 PM
Who exactly said this? I'd like to see the source of this quote if you don't mind. Was this a private message?

If theymos really said this, it is easy to guess his reasoning. You don't need to ask him.

1- Staff endorsing mixers might get the forum in trouble.
2- Mixers can't guarantee your privacy even though they say they do. That's possibly false advertisement.

A staff-

We (staff) were asked to stop advertising mixing services.

As for gambling services, then that's simply because of my religious beliefs.

I can't imagine anyone else asking staff to stop advertising mixing services. theymos is the only one.
I guess it's the first reason you shared. The second one seems not true all the time. It can or can't be true. It's better to stop an advertising mixer if the forum gets in trouble.

I suppose if HSBC create a signature campaign, it won't be a problem  Cheesy
What about Silicon Valley Bank  Cheesy Well, I guess they can't afford it now LOL.
