61  Economy / Economics / Re: Hahahaha, the world of cryptocurrency is really magical on: May 10, 2024, 07:45:32 PM
Meme coins are different from other crypto projects with clear real-world uses.  They mainly depend on hype rather than utility.  This makes it easier for whales with lots of money to control the market.  Many of these coins are worthless and meant to fail eventually and  it's common for creators to suddenly take investors' money and vanish - known as a rug pull.

New crypto investors and greedy folks often lose money on meme coins.  They see other people making big profits and want part of the action.  So they buy meme coins without doing research, only to lose it all when the creators pull the rug out from under them.  These digital bandits are effective at draining the pockets of those blinded by dreams of easy money.

In the end, many meme coins are fool's gold - not worth the risk for most regular investors.  It pays to do your homework before jumping into the latest hot crypto fad.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 09, 2024, 07:38:20 PM
<...>
I don't know how accurate my words are but to me it seems right now in this situation.

Money isn't everything!  Feels like it is I know.  But there's more to this life.  Family, good friends, people who genuinely care for you - you cant put a price tag on that stuff.  Yet it matters so much, especially when times are tough.  People like that can be an anchor for you.

Yeah I'm not gonna lie, the situation plainly sucks.  Money problems are mad stressful, no doubt.  But don't let that completely overwhelm you, you know?  Focus on what you can control for now - hitting those books building real skills, hustling hard.  There's a way upwards, but itll probably take some grit to get there.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Using A Journal Spreadsheets Will Pave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 09, 2024, 07:31:09 PM
I want to ask: Are Using A Journal or Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling?

I wouldn't say tracking bets turns you into an addict.  Lotsa folks keep journals or spreadsheets to follow their gambling.  It helps spot things - like if you got bad habits popping up or maybe a lucky streak rideing in.  Sure, some get carried away with the tracking, but that can happen with anything and  just 'cause you write down what you buy don't mean youre obsessed with shopping or something.

Point is, tracking ain't just for addicts.  Regular people do it too.  It's a solid way to keep your bets organized.  Doesn't have to be a bad thing.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the main points of gambling? on: May 09, 2024, 07:24:45 PM
Does it mean they don't know the main points of gambling?

No. This doesn't mean that people don't know the main points of gambling. They know you risk something for the chance to gain more.  But understanding the basics don't mean you grasp the appeal or downsides.  For some, it's harmless fun.  For others, ruinous addiction.

Sure most folks understand the core idea - put something on the line and hope luck favors you.  but that surface comprehension skips why it entices some personalities and destroys others.  Some can dabble and walk away.  Others crave one more try, then another, despite the losses piling up.  Self-control ain't a given.  And addiction makes you play a whole different game.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's responsible for the dead coins? on: May 09, 2024, 06:36:43 PM
So, who's responsible when the Coins dies?

Well, definitely those developers and project heads that create them.  If a coin is crappy or too gimmicky, or even an outright scam (and yeah, those exist alright) the fault lies squarely on them! I mean they gotta ship something with real merit, right? Sure, hype and excitement can send prices ballooning for a bit, but no smoke and mirrors can prevent a coin from tanking eventually and

now about ghost coins - more often than not shady devs make off with the money pocketed from investors.  So really, folks looking to buy cryptos should be darn careful about who they decide to fund.
66  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: credits cards with btc on: May 09, 2024, 06:27:03 PM
Yeah, like already said, most crypto platforms  won't let you withdraw coins right away if you buy crypto with a credit card.  They gotta watch out for scams and stuff and  Binance is the same way.  If you use your Visa or whatever to get some Bitcoin on there, it'll probably be a few days before they actually give it to you.  I'm pretty sure they wait until they can confirm its not stolen credits or something shady happening.  So just a heads up when using Binance that you won't have access to your shiny new crypto coins right away.  It's annoying but that's how it works.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I get into trading on: May 08, 2024, 08:36:30 PM
I'm still pretty new to crypto trading myself, so I get where you're coming from.  It can definitely be intimidating trying to wrap your head around it at first.  The decentralized nature of crypto makes it unlike anything else in traditional finance.  But once you start to understand the basics, it gets easier.

I spent a good amount of time reading guides and watching tutorials to familiarize myself with how crypto exchanges work the different order types, and general trading terminology.  I'd recommend doing the same - take it slow and make sure you really comprehend things before risking your capital.

As far as platforms, I have primarily used Binance and KuCOin.  From my experience, most major crypto exchanges dont integrate with MetaTrader.  They have their own built-in trading interfaces that you'll need to get accustomed to.  The principles of trading remain largely the same but the tools and user experience vary across platforms.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People Tokens are pumping. Bullish. on: May 08, 2024, 08:19:53 PM
I believe the world of altcoins is starting to fade away.
The new and more powerful trend is in people profile tokens; <...>

What exactly are "people profile tokens"?  As far as I know, they still need the altcoins network to function, just like NFTs, right? So if altcoins are starting to fade away, then there won't be any tokens, right?
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going to happen with Bitcoin now? on: May 04, 2024, 08:50:29 PM
I have seen that after this Bitcoin halving, the price of Bitcoin has decreased a lot.

What do you mean? The price of bitcoin is exactly what it was two months ago, and if we take into account the price that was at the end of last year, the price of bitcoin has risen significantly, not the other way around. Just because we had a short-term pre-halving spike and a new ATH, it doesn't mean that the price of Bitcoin has decreased a lot!

Does that mean we will see a Bitcoin bull market now? Or will it decrease again? What is your view on Bitcoin?

You can't really expect someone to know this. We can only speculate.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: May 04, 2024, 08:33:45 PM
Money's fine, I guess, but real friends who have your back are way more important.  Close friends stick with you through good times and bad. Not just when you're pickin' up the tab at the bar!  So be wise how you spend, not throwing money around just cause you got it now.  Buy things you really like but save some for later, and you'll find yourself with true genuine people who care about the real you.  And not with fake friends, who only care about your money.
71  Economy / Gambling / Re: THE NEW STRATEGY FOR LATEBETTING FOR 2024 on: May 04, 2024, 08:21:19 PM
<...>

You said yourself it ain't working as good as before.  This late betting strategy sounds slick, but if the bookies are onto it and it's not paying off anymore, its more like some fading fad than a prized trick up your sleeve.

The truth is, not even you can cash in on this so-called strategy now and  so you figure you can make a few extra bucks pawning it off to some sucker before you skip town.  I call BS.  Don't try and pull a fast one here bud.  Ain't gonna fly if your system's a bust.
72  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Jonbet Crash Game Seeding Event on: May 04, 2024, 08:12:20 PM
Three seeding events for the same game? That's funny!  It seems like theyre running in circles,, unable to move forward but scared to call it quits, so they recycle the same stuff hoping folks stay curious and  either their plans weren't concrete or they're working some sketchy angle.  I wouldn't hang around expecting them to finally open.  Plenty of gambling platforms actually get off the ground without all this run-around.
73  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: May 04, 2024, 08:01:18 PM
Everyone who has developed his own gambling strategies will believed they are the best, i wont doubt about that because that is what we are using on gambling and still fetch us wining sometimes, however, there is more need to be able to develop more on some of this strategies, revise on them and make use of additional ones to help have more better gambling experience, which is one of the best reason why we need to developed gambling strategy, so that we can enjoy gambling each time we are doing it.

What works one day might fail the next.  When it comes to gambling, there is no strategy that can produce consistent results. It's all about chance, not skill or strategy.  Sure you can try tactics like managing your bank, picking games where the odds ain't stacked so high maybe even throwing a few basic plays out there.  But ultimately the outcome is always in the hands of luck, not some can't-miss strategy.
74  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 04, 2024, 07:04:49 PM
But I insist on 2 things:

  • First, we should all ask Freebitco.in to investigate because there is a problem and it can affect us all, everyone (tomorrow can affect you or you or all) and veteran users may have more strength than newbies.
  • Second, I myself lend my account to freebitco.in to investigate. After 36 hours I still see the wrong deposit address (I cannot change it) and the damn cashtravel script. It happens to me on 2 PCs and 1 mobile phone while another person on those same PCs with his account, sees his correct deposit address and does not see the script in the developer tools...

Both of your requests sound reasonable. I would also like to see that freebitco.in investigate this issue thoroughly.  A glitch affecting deposit addresses and scripts could be a serious problem.

...but Freebitco.in doesn't want to investigate.

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do at this point other than wait for TheQuin to come in and clarify their side.
75  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unlimited Money Generator 1.0.1 on: May 04, 2024, 06:50:55 PM
I don't expect gamblers to be the smartest human beings either, so of course, we have a bunch of morons spewing ignorance without the proper research. If you can tell, the only reports are from users who have not looked into the program, they are just making a quick assertation based on the name.

You're wrong about that. Both "Poker Player" and "Charles-Tim" are highly respected and reputable members of the forum. Their word carries a lot of weight here. If they have concerns, it's worth listening to, not dismissing them out of hand.

And likewise any user stupid enough to concede a plan to scam users with the name of 'Unlimited Money Generator' would be a fool as well...

I agree on that. It's good that you understand that too.
76  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All people Should have the right to own Guns in our Society on: May 03, 2024, 09:54:44 PM
I get that some folks believe having guns around makes places safer.  And yeah, for certain folks and situations, that's reasonable - if you live way out in the boondocks or want protection.  but insisting we'd all be better off if everyone packed heat wherever they went? I call shenanigans.

Guns ain't toys.  People lose their cool, even good folks.  Add firearms to those flare-ups and things go sideways real fast.  Just look at the stats - more guns typically means more problems not less.  More accidents.  More suicides.  More shootouts over fender benders and family spats.  I mean, cmon.

Plus, places with strict limits on carrying guns around tend to be safer overall.  So this more guns equal more safe theory doesn't really hold water in my book.  I respect responsible gun owners, but thinking we'd live in some polite utopia if every last citizen strapped on a six-shooter before leaving the house every morning? That's some serious wishful thinking.
77  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 03, 2024, 08:36:01 PM
Same here. While I'm unsure of the specific issues other users are having, I can confirm that I use the FreeBitcoin.in site without any problems. I haven't noticed anything suspicious all this time. My deposit and withdrawal addresses remain consistent, and the site regularly generates a new deposit address at my request. Everything is the same as the last time I tested about a month ago when some newbie users also claimed the site was hacked, which was not true.

Did you analyze their servers to verify whether it was true? Even FreeBitco.in hasn’t bothered to deny if they are compromised. They just carry on as if nothing is happening and ignoring user concerns, despite there being clear signs that not everything is normal. Their complete lack of customer support, totally disregarding the lambo drawing, and several other issues are making people question if it is still a trustworthy site.

Hold your horses! I'm just sharing my experience from my perspective. That's allowed, right? I'm not denying that some users are having problems with the site. However, claiming their servers are compromised is a stretch. If that were the case, it would affect everyone, not just a select few. I understand your point though; getting some explanations and reassurances from them would definitely be helpful.

Okay, we should just start a class action lawsuit against freebitco.in and theQuinn I'm tired of b*********** it's time to take some action against this dick head and his stupid f****** website. I'm done being polite. We need to do a class-action lawsuit sue the s*** out of this guy who's with me

Be serious!  Where will you file your class action lawsuit against freebitco.in?  By the way, TheQuin is not even the owner of the site, but wetsuit is as far as I know..

You are free but more than "insulting" you should take advantage of your seniority to more strongly demand that Freebitco.in investigate because the same thing could happen to you any day.

What part of my message do you find offensive? When I used "newbie," I wasn't referring to you specifically, but rather the situation from last month.  And, by the way, "a newbie" is your current forum designation. That's a fact, not an insult.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over the next months meme coin investors will get most rich on: May 03, 2024, 08:21:31 PM
I get what you're saying about those meme coins and stuff, but I dunno.  Seems like some folks are making good money on them, even if it is kinda shady how they pump up the prices.  but hey, maybe they got bills to pay or dreams to chase or whatever. Far as I know no law against tryin' to get rich.  Just gotta watch your own back is all, make sure you don't get stuck holding worthless junk when the music stops.

As for the OG finance gurus, no doubt they built legit businesses and changed the game.  But not everyone has those skills or ambitions.  Some of us just wanna catch a break, take a shot at shifting our situation.  Maybe we lose it all maybe we change our family tree.  Its a roll of the dice either way.  At least the little guys are finally getting a chance to play the game too.  Even if we suck at it.

I'm not saying go blow your savings on Dogebonk Coin or whatever.  But I get the hope, and the appeal of it all.  Just gotta be smart, know your limits and when to walk away.  Get caught dreamchasin too hard and you might end up broke with a bad hangover one day.  But that's life, isn't it? High risk high reward and all that.  At least we're finally allowed to play a few hands with the high rollers, meme coins or not.

But hey, to each their own!
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you taking advantage of this red market? on: May 03, 2024, 08:09:06 PM
Well, dips happen sometimes, right? Could be a small one, could be the next Great Depression.  Who's to say? I ain't no freakin' fortune teller! Wink Trying to catch the absolute bottom? Good luck with that.  You'll probably just drive yourself crazy watching those graphs tick down minute after minute.

Me personally? I'd put a little skin in the game if things look bad enough.  Not my life savings or anything crazy but enough that I'd kick myself if I missed a heck of a comeback and  sure its still risky, but so is crossing the darn street.  If it goes my way - awesome! If not - ah well, win some lose some.  At least I gave it a shot instead of twiddling my thumbs waiting for some magical perfect moment.  You gotta trust your gut sometimes.  The numbers only get you so far.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: May 03, 2024, 06:54:39 PM
I wasn't really a gambler before; I was just jealous of my friend who often wins; he doesn't even gamble every day. It seems like in a month he only wins 2-3 times gambling,
which if I count the ones he won playing for 500-1000 dollars, the amount of his winning price ranges.
These type of encounters are common and are the usual events that lead up to people getting addicted to gambling. As long as you control that emotion of jealousy and pride and are able to control the greed it will not harm you, because you will only be playing for fun and not playing to make money. The second point is the thing that drives people to gamble - easy money. But it is not so for the players than it is for the casinos.

It might be worth experimenting to check what your friend feels about gambling today.

Its common as you have said since we are humans and can often develop a jealous kind of nature towards each other, most especially when others are having more upper edge over us in gambling, that is why to an extent, i will prefer making such with an outsider or friend than a family member, because i won't allow gambling to be the determining factor to how we are going to relate well or not with some of the family members, pride and jealousy will affect us both.

I agree about the jealousy thing when it comes to your friend's gambling wins.  It's tough to see him celebrating these big payouts and have the thought hey, why not me too? But the thing is - you only see those wins he decides to show off, not the heaps of losses that stay behind the scenes.  Its kind of like social media in a way.  Folks post snaps from their beach vacations and five-star restaurants, but you don't see the mounds of dirty clothes waiting at home or those days at the office that just drag on.  Same idea with your buddy's betting habits.  He might be hyping up a few solid wins but trust me, there's a whole lot of painful reality that hes not putting on display.
