61  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you found a new way to make money playing games, would you tell your friends? on: May 17, 2024, 09:37:49 AM
Well I do have some friends that does like to play some games. So if I do find a way to make money doing this well then yes I will show my friends how to do this.

This is what dose make us a good friend. We can help out others to make money or share ways to do that with them. It is good for us to not be so greedy in our life.

Yes, that's right. Only is it possible to find a new way to make money playing games, casino games, I mean? I think it can be just an illusion and in that case it's better to not tell your friends about it because there's a big chance of them just losing their money. We should be careful about what we are suggesting.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people lose in gambling and still go ahead and bet more? on: May 17, 2024, 09:19:20 AM
It's not impossible, but only if that amount is realistic. Like , take me for example. I'm happy with winning $200 with my 20 cents stake. That's my goal so to speak. And I've succeeded in that several times. But if my goal was to win a million, maybe I wouldn't achieve it in my whole life. See? Tell your friend to set realistic goals.

Man, it's a x1,000. It's like if I bet $10 and win $10,000. I don't know how many times you say that's happened to you but it's got to be very infrequent.

Yes, sure it happens not that often. I mean, in Dice I was winning with 1,000x multiplier many times, I think close to hundred times maybe, but my stake was only a fraction of a cent, so, my won amount wasn't that big either. I remember it was only once when I bet $0.015 and won $15 with 1,000x multiplier. It was only once. Other times my winnings were around $2-$3, not more.

But with slots it's a different story. Since I couldn't bet with less than $0.20, I won pretty good amounts a couple of times:

and I was quite happy with it. Smiley
63  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: May 17, 2024, 08:45:25 AM
Indeed, these tokens pay dividends if you hold them in casinos and steak them there. But for some reason nobody invests in them in a big way. Apparently, big investors do not trust casinos and do not want to keep their investments there, even if it will bring them income.

Big investors, if they do not trust casinos, are just missing the opportunity to earn good money. I don't think all of them are like that. Of course some people have been investing in gambling platforms because they know it's profitable, but I want to say to those rich people who don't trust casinos: you are right, don't just trust them, do your own research, and you'll be amazed by how much you are missing. If you ask me, whom to trust more just random crypto coins or Casino coins from established casinos, I would favour the latter.

~ You should always strive for a better life, but at the same time be content with what you have.
I have seen many people who sleep on the road and nothing like traffic noise or road lights can disturb their sleep. This is the only reason they live for each day. They don't have any thoughts or needs for the future. As soon as the need arises in a person there is a problem, sleep is forbidden. And if we could be satisfied with what we are achieving, we would be mentally well. But the nature of the demand that will continue to grow gradually, is the result of not being able to control the mentality. So we should make a habit of being satisfied and that will eliminate our extra worries and live a healthy and beautiful life.

Exactly. That's what I'm saying, be content with what you have. But pursuing your goals is fun, don't forget about that. Smiley So, set a goal, maybe just a little one, but still it's better than living with no purpose.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: May 17, 2024, 08:02:10 AM
There's nothing bad in good positive emotions, like those that we experience when we are winning, but usually aggressiveness is not one of them good emotions we should seek for.
Gambling should never be aggressive because the chances of losing is higher than that of winning. If you are aggressive, before the winning will come, you might run out of money. I have tried aggressive gambling a couple of times, I will start with like $20, go all in and either win or loss is the option. When I win, I go all in with my balance because I was targeting to hit $1 million compounded from $20. Somethings I will build the funds to a couple of hundred dollars and then lose them all only to start all over again. With time I realised that this pattern is not sustainable so I have to resort to gambling with single digit percentage of my account balance per session and also controlling how ofter I gamble. This way I will always remain in the game even after several losses.

Reading your post can also help beginners not to get addicted. Because it's actually a dangerous plan, to reach $1 million from $20. It can be addictive, I would say. I think that beginners should understand one simple thing: there's no way to create a plan that works surely in gambling. You can win by chance with any plan, but what will happen most likely is you lose everything if your plan implies betting all-in all the time.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 17, 2024, 07:24:33 AM
~
It is not things or entertainment that spoil life, but man himself by his actions. TV can give more positive emotions compared to spending money in a bar with friends, but on the other hand it can be a weapon of propagandists. So it's not about things or certain entertainment, but about the person himself and his actions. Each of us is given only one life, that is why each of us has the right to choose how to have fun and relax. And in general I think that buying any necessary thing with the money won is a good enough habit.

That and spending on things like restaurants and movies too. It's pretty delusional to expect earning a life-changing amount from gambling, but to win something to spend on those nice things like maybe not that necessary things but the things that will make you happier, is a good habit indeed.

I'd say, if there was even just one such thing, you can say that you achieved something thing from gambling. I mean, apart from the the process which is exciting by itself.

It looks like the dude left the casino on autopilot and don't even care what happens to anyone. That itself is a reason to stay away from this casino for a while till somebody comes over and make a statement on what's going on. There must be something we don't know yet because it is so stupid to act like this when millions of dollars are on the stake. The casino will lose many players because of what happened lately. There is only one possible reason to justify this lack of response: The police are keeping the owners busy. I can't find any other explanation.

Why many of you, guys, are saying that TheQuin has disappeared or something? He was here yesterday, May 16, 2024, 02:56:17 AM. Just check his profile.

Also, whats wrong with FreeBitco.in, apart from several spammers whining in this thread for no reason? Or maybe they have a reason? Maybe they are paid to slander this reputable site?

As far as I know the site is doing OK. Someone won a Lambo recently on this very site, FFS!
What did I miss?
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 16, 2024, 11:37:58 AM
~
Addiction is something that can be said to be a bad habit or an act that is done excessively. All addictions are the same, whether it's drug addiction or gambling addiction, they both harm ourselves and even the people around us. That's why every gambler should not gamble excessively and Doing this must be within well-controlled limits. I have never had a story about drug addiction, but if I am addicted to gambling, I happen to have many friends who are gamblers who are addicted to gambling.

The fact that you have many such friends makes you a knowledgeable person in this field. I, for instance, had known only two such persons. Their life was like hell back then. One of them literally couldn't think of anything but gambling. Even while watching a movie in a movie theatre he was thinking of various card combinations(he was a poker player at the time). At some point, he realized how miserable his life was and sought help from a professional psychiatrist who helped him to get rid of his addiction. Now, he's living a happy life with his two daughters and beautiful wife. Another guy was addicted to roulette but didn't seek professional help, and his situation ended quite badly.

I agree...I'm totally puzzled why USA continues to pour money there, they could for example collect all human feces off the streets of San Francisco.

Good old Soviet propaganda nugget "but there are homeless people in America!@!!!"
~

And it was said by the very people who were living in the USA with their families working as  Soviet journalists enjoying all the delights of the West. They were telling this to the people who were never allowed to leave their country. It's disgusting, and Putin wants to bring it back.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: May 16, 2024, 10:05:58 AM
~
Yes, that's right, that's the real gambling game. where we can enjoy the game without having to think about losing. as you said, you both lost $50 but there was satisfaction in playing. It's different from losing $50 in one spin, it will cause psychological disorders because that kind of money feels like a lot and it's hard to lose it.

Maybe for some people $50 is not a lot, but for me it's a lot of money definitely. That's why I'm so happy when I win $50 while betting with only $0.10. I bet people who bet $500 with 90% win chance and win $50 because of the 1.1x multiplier don't feel that way. They deprive themselves of that great feeling when a stroke of luck of that caliber is on their side. I don't understand why they gamble at all. What's the joy of winning with 90% win chance?
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it proper for younger ones to gamble? on: May 16, 2024, 09:27:18 AM
It depends on how old they are, usually people under the age of 18 are restricted from gambling but that depends on the country they come from.

Gambling is an activity that is taken as a bad habit just like drinking alcohol or smoking, they could be fun but they got a lot of negative sides. Just like it is forbidden for kids to encounter these bad habits, I think that it is also bad for younger ones to participate in gambling because when someone is in a younger age they could behave irresponsibility and impulsively which makes them take stupid decisions.

That's exactly why gambling should be prohibited for younger people. They don't understand the limits, they ignore all the rules. That's how many of us had been behaving when we were young. We are lucky that we weren't introduced to gambling at that age. The reality is that our lives could have been ruined either way: whether we lost or won because having access to big money at a young age does more harm than good.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: May 16, 2024, 08:56:08 AM
~

Sometimes there are gamblers who have lost but want to turn things around so they think "maybe in the next gambling game I will get a win that can turn things around" they hope that luck will come to them, whereas luck cannot be expected to happen as desired, luck will happen with itself. Don't think about being able to reverse the situation, in my opinion it will only make things worse. You have to be patient when gambling, because when the time comes, luck is on your side, then winning cannot be avoided.

Good words, brother. Indeed, nothing affects luck. The fact that you were unlucky many times before doesn't imply that you will be lucky next time or any time soon. Many gamblers do that mistake, believing that luck has some kind of schedule. No, it hasn't. Luck will strike you whenever it wants. It can be several times in a row and it's possible that you won't see it for years.
73  Other / Off-topic / Re: JESUS CHRIST TURNED WATER INTO ALCOHOL. on: May 16, 2024, 08:38:15 AM
When reading the Bible, some points are completed in other verses. So reading the verse before (pre verse) and
the verse  after (post verse) will help in understanding some statements in the Bible. He turned water into wine and they drink until they became drunk. SEE Matthew chapter 2 v 7 to 10.
Don't forget... It is just now our days that we alcoholic and non alcoholic wine, before it was not like that

Non alcoholic wine is a good substitute for people who don't drink alcohol. Those who invented it were contributing to the world progress for sure. If you trying to say that drinking alcohol it's some kind of sacred ceremony, it's nothing new, all alcoholics think like that.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin halving have been completed, what next? on: May 16, 2024, 08:27:58 AM
~
~ After halving the price trends seem not to look good but I believe that the history repeats itself. The new ATH comes a few months after halving like before.

The new ATH has happened already, it was a month before the halving, remember? But if you mean the proper ATH, like 3 times higher than the previous one, than yes, I agree with you, it should happen a few months after halving, and that's what we are waiting for, because it was happening like that in previous years. In the meantime, don't panic when the price is suddenly down. Fluctuation is a normal thing for Bitcoin.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your slices Luck that would have made you millionaire in gambling? on: May 16, 2024, 07:45:35 AM
I've come across this several times but most times I feel maybe I've enemies, fighting me not to survive in life but i noticed that it's a game of luck. First one day I predict a game earlier this week the odds were perfect for it to enter. My games were going so well i stake $1000 then total refunds it was about $10,000 i kept on praying in my mind, it was just one game for me remaining then all of a sudden i fell asleep on the process. While I wake up to check my game the last game ended me up with a cry 😭, i took the risk cause a friend of mine took the same risk now he his a millionaire because of one slice luck made him who he his today. And what I understand is that if you really want to be a millionaire through gambling, you only have to increase in your amount that you stake the higher the amount the richer you can in a minutes. I don't know for yours, what's yours?

That's the worst advice I've ever heard, mate. I'd say this to you: if you really want to be a millionaire through gambling, go to a doctor, go to a good professional who will explain to you what is wrong with your mind. It's not cheap, it may cost you a lot, and from your current point of view it would be better to spend the money on gambling. But trust me, it's going to be your best investment, the money you gave to that doctor.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: May 16, 2024, 07:13:26 AM
~
Exactly, and some people make the mistake of thinking that the odds are higher for them to win when they reduce the multiplier so it's a clear shot and they can get good returns if they bet with all their bankroll or 50% of it having 1.1x odds or even lower, but they forget that one can lose a bet even with those low multipliers.
~

Loosing with 90% win chance(or 1.1x multiplier) is easier than many people imagine. And many gamblers think if they lost once it won't happen right away for the second time for sure. So, after losing their bet at 90% win chance they go all-in in their next bet, and, as it happens quite often, they lose that bet too. Then they start saying: "It can't be. The site is rigged!" and stuff. But the simple answer to that is - it can. And it can happen the third time in a row too.
77  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the best piece of advice you've ever received? on: May 15, 2024, 03:12:53 PM

Unfortunately I can't be original here, "a happy wife is a happy life" is the best advice I've ever received.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful with people's money on: May 15, 2024, 11:07:15 AM
People should check the background or character of the people they entrust their money with, but unfortunately, some people are so good at hiding their character that they only get exposed when the deed is already done.
~

It's impossible in practice. And not because the potential fraudsters are so good at hiding their character, but because they themselves don't know what they are capable of, in the first place. An event in life can change someone completely. Not many people have that strength to resist the transformation into a monster. But those who have that strength despite of everything are heroes. And we must do everything we can to be like them.

fastestFee: 15 sat/vB

I still don't understand what the matter is. Currently, the fee is under 15 sat/vb, but someone still sends a transaction paying 351 sat/vB https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/636c08bafb3c171ae968ce50ca11596bcada56e02ed5d2fe9a3f97fa6d0f5a38
Is there any reasonable explanation why the fee is so much overpaid even in this "quiet" time?

Bad wallet? Some wallets have terrible fee estimation...

I agree that this is very weird.

But regardless of their estimation, we can always set the fee manually, no?

I personally before making a transaction look at https://mempool.space/ and set a couple of sats higher than High Priority and it works for me perfectly. Maybe that guy transferring over 1 BTC didn't care about losing 76.39 USD? It's indeed a small amount comparing to what he transferred.

What a great achievement, 2 correct picks more and $1000 will be yours. So big chance because there are 14 matches to predict in 2 more rounds and I'm sure you will get it in the next 37th round. Early congrats for you, you deserve it and I hope you can turn it into more $$ with your plan. Although the $1000 is a free money but I'm sure you will spend it wisely. Since the Majestic 7 this season is going to end soon, I hope there will be another Majestic 7 next new season and maybe with another consolation prize to reach some specific achievement.
Got it with 9 games to spare, easier than I anticipated. Must admit this was fun. Now let's see when the money comes (probably have to wait for the whole thing to end) and in what form. Really curious to see if the counter will go beyond 100 Smiley

Congrats, mate! 100 correct predictions it's an achievement I must say. I've only made 37 of them right:

I think I missed some games, though.

Please do tell us here what was the prize, in what form? Congrats again!

I was really close this time with my 213.32 points to being in the top 30 and winning 400 free spins:

This time the Highest Multiplier contest is on Pragmatic slots, not available in my region, but I'm already waiting for the next one. I feel I can do it.
