202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC touch 100k in the next bull run ? on: July 04, 2024, 05:38:15 AM
Maximum upside possible based on me expectation: $150-180k as the ATH at the end of the bullrun. This is not based on any technical analysis but on the price increase range from previous bull runs and how it has been reducing with each halving, it looks like a good maximum range.

The last bottom was $15k, I am expecting an increase of 7-10× as an average, and a max of 10-12×.

- Jay -

You are saying that it's not "based on any technical analysis", but your explanation looks convincing to me. Actually, I think it can be called "technical analysis", at least to a first approximation. I mean, what is the use of more sophisticated analysis, if in the end it turns out to be not that accurate in terms of predicting further movements of Bitcoin price?  I myself tried too to predict what new ATH we can expect and came to conclusion that it will be about $200k, which is more or less similar to your prediction.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What if you have a casino? on: July 03, 2024, 10:27:11 AM
Back to the topic, I would be really happy that people are having fun at my place. I would like them to play more at my place, but not lose more, just play, because I know that my profit is more related to the amount wagered at my place than to the amount that was lost.
But isn't it that if our customers lose more money in our gambling it will bring us much greater profits, and of course it will be very happy.
~

No. Basically, it works like this: some people lose big amounts, at the same time others win. If you have many players on your platform, you won't even notice that someone just lost a big amount of money, because someone else will win it right away. What you, as a casino owner, are making your money from is the house edge, a tiny percentage of those money wagered on your platform. So, you are interested in large amounts being wagered in your casino much more than in large amounts were lost. It's a very simplified version of what's actually going on in online casinos, but what I wanted to say is that casinos, contrary to popular belief, are not interested in your losing all your money to them. They don't give a f**k.

If the purpose of gambling is to multiply then it is wrong, if the purpose is for fun then it does not care about losing because the fun has been done in gambling....
It is enough if we have played never force it because we know it will lead to defeat when there is even a small victory at least rest again tomorrow or a few days to refresh this mind that's what I do.
If there is a big win then I will immediately withdraw it leaving 10% for the game to continue.

That's what I'm doing usually too, only I leave around 20% to continue my gambling on the site, and in some cases it's enough for more than a year of me playing slots or poker or dice. Overall, "double your money and quit" is a strange concept to me, because to double my money I should go all-in with 50% chance or what? I usually don't do that, except I did it couple of times by mistake. Usually, when I double my money it means I won with a 1,000x multiplier or so, and then yes, I withdraw 80% of my balance and play with the rest. But not during the same day, rather, during the same year.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Day streaming as gambler experience on: July 03, 2024, 09:15:47 AM
Well, I disagree with you. Since influencers care about how many followers they have(you said it yourself), they will not be telling lies to their followers because they will quickly lose them if what they are saying turns out not to be true. They are influencers because many people trust them and want to listen to them.
Maybe some influencers will say the truth because they afraid if they lose their followers. But not many influencers will say like that or do that because when they gets income from what they promote, the feeling greedy will comes to them. Only some influence can stick to what they do before and will still care with their followers. ~

To lose their audience is what influencers are most afraid of. What "income" are you talking about? A million USD, two millions? Some streamers are making much more per year without deceiving anyone:

Do you think they would risk losing that job?

Anyway, show me just one example of an influencer telling lies to his/her audience regarding gambling. I just can't find such examples.

207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it time to buy the dip in Bitcoin as it drops to $64,000? on: July 03, 2024, 08:46:58 AM
~
Worries about potential price drops can be minimized with a DCA strategy, so I don't think long-term investors have much to worry about. In fact, prices can still rise by 3% to 6% in 24 hours, while prices can also fall back to previous levels. Long-term investors tend to have to ignore short-term volatility and focus on their long-term plans, so buying now may be a sensible decision for them.

Short-term trading tends to be risky because the market is very volatile. Of course the market can react quickly even just because of wild FUD, but traders must be able to implement strategies to avoid losses, including stop losses. Whatever it is, the market can still provide traders with returns, but whether they are low or high depends on their budget and strategy as well.

That's what I wanted to say. It is highly likely that long-term investors will find themselves in a good profit a year from now. But they must be strong and not sell their BTC when in the nearest future the price drops even further down. They should hodl and wait to see what happens in 2025.

As for the short-term trading, you can make good money with it these days if you are smart, because BTC is bouncing back and forth a lot, and taking like 5% profits from your investment once per week looks pretty achievable.
208  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you mind being alone? on: July 03, 2024, 07:47:07 AM
I love being alone it makes me happy and I feel more comfortable, when I'm alone I always watch movies and I enjoy watching movies alone I hate watching movie with someone.
I'm just trying to adjust so it won't affect my marriage in future but deep down I love being alone I enjoy it so much.

If it makes you happy, keep doing it, mate. Just, keep it up! Few people in this world know how to achieve happiness so easily.

Clearly, the problem of receiving winnings from a casino that operates in the so-called “gray zone” is a serious problem for players who are just starting to gamble.  Probably such players believed the promises of such not entirely legitimate casinos about bonuses and promotions and perhaps even played them and even won.  But when it comes to winning, difficulties and troubles begin.  Moreover, the player thinks for a long time that he will be able to get this money, although experienced players immediately understand that he will never receive it.
As a result, the nerves and time of a newbie in gambling were wasted.  And there may also be general disappointment in this type of entertainment in general.

Unfortunately, this problem relates not only to the gamblers who are just starting. I know that many experienced gamblers are too falling for this trap, when they hear promises about enormous bonuses and highly attractive promotions. Little do they know that some dishonest casinos want only one thing from them - their money. Such casinos are not planning to payout big wins to the winners.
210  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the most popular Crypto casino game? on: July 02, 2024, 12:25:57 PM
I went through this thread and saw many reputable online crypto casinos here on which you can be playing without fear of being cheated. Just want add a couple more. It's FortuneJack, a well-established one, known for many years in the industry. And another one that is pretty new, but is already reputable among crypto gamblers, especially for their fast and unproblematic withdrawls, Blackjack.fun. Also, if you want to play poker with crypto, SwC Poker is what I personally would recommend in addition to Stake.com who's been running great poker since recently.

Same with gambling. Who has created such stereotype that those who gamble are 100% addicted? Who has created a stereotype, that if kids sees other gamble, he will also gamble? Who has created a stereotype that gambling is bad?

Agreed, it's not certain that kids will repeat what they see their parents are doing. Especially, in the phase of adolescence, when they overall don't want to be like them in the future.

I am also getting mad when parents overreact, forbit everything. Dont do that, dont go there, dont jump, dont run, slow down and etc, because you will get hurt. How a kid learn anything if he hasnt experienced anything?

Right forbidding everything that you think is bad for your kids won't work in most cases. Sometimes kids want to try exactly what is forbidden. It makes that activity for them even more desirable. However, I still agree with the OP that you should never gamble in front of your kids, especially when you see that they respect you and will most likely copy what you are doing. That makes sense to me too.

I never tried provider that is new to me. Provider like Play’n Go, PP, Hacksaw, Relax and Push Gaming are my comfortable provider that’s why it’s very rare for me to venture out on this new provider to me since I have a nightmare experience when I try one on JILI which is sucks tbh.

I wouldn't risk trying an unknown provider either. But, wait, what am I risking actually when making smallest bets possible? Not much, right? Also, I'm not playing just anywhere. It's Bitcasino. They won't be offering me to play on slots by some shady provider. They care about their customers and, so, they will check everything twice before putting it on their site.

Phoenix 7 was definitely a new slot provider to me, but I played it 3 days ago and I decided to play another slot by Phoenix today too, Golden Pirate, and I wasn't disappointed. Won something several times on it:

How is everyone doing in GosuBetting EURO 2024 tipster challenge?

Well, I went even further down to 74th place:

I don't know if I still have a chance to end up in the top 10, but I think, hardly.

darbit is currently in first place with 94 points and 4 exact predictions but Stavroula has just one point less and there are several other players with 90 points.
I am not doing very good but I think that I still have a chance to make a comeback and finish in one of top ten positions.
All I need is prediction few exact scores and I am back in the game.

darbit is currently has 140 points, and he's already made 7 exact predictions! I looked through the Leaderboard, and although couple of people did make 7 exact predictions, no one made more. My two exact predictions really look miserable. Congrats, darbit!

I must say that looking closely to the points' system made by Gosubetting, I like it very much. It's just I wasn't that lucky in this one.  Sad
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: July 02, 2024, 07:16:55 AM
~

In the end, it also depends on the person who is gambling because after all, for now we cannot rule it out but on the other hand, almost everyone who is in gambling must feel the same way where when we gamble, it will indeed become a dopamine that makes us like addicted again and again to gambling because in accordance with other discussions where gambling is very unique in terms of the nature that makes us feel like we are missing something if we don't do it.

There are many things about which we feel that are missing them if we don't do them. For example, watching your favourite TV series, meeting your friends, baking a pie ... but are those things bad to the society? No. You can make them bad through some twisted way, like are making gambling bad through overusing it, but the things themselves aren't bad.

The only thing wrong with this is expecting more from gambling as we are now discussing that not a few people think that gambling can make them get a big profit which is of course very regrettable in the end.
We can't deny that most of us who are here are gamblers but the difference is how much self-control we have and everyone's perspective on gambling that makes this different because not a few who are here also consider that gambling is a means to enrich themselves when it is a situation that is naive.

You pretty much said it, indeed, the difference in the ability to make yourself stop the game when you feel you need tho do that.

216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Should Have a to Do List In Case Of winning A Huge Amount on: July 01, 2024, 03:52:59 PM
Betting on Lotto is very popular here in our country. While scrolling on YouTube, I stumbled across a video about people who won the lotto but eventually lost all their fortune quickly through mismanagement or ignorance.

I cannot post the video as it is in our native language, but one of the examples is one guy who loses his millions because of overspending. He realizes all that he wants: luxury cars, houses, and jewelry and spends it on casinos, thinking he can make more money.

That's the stupidest idea ever. I mean, if you were lucky once, what makes you think you'll be as lucky again soon? Don't spend the won money on luxury cars, houses and jewelry, rather spend it on your education and then such stupid ideas won't be bothering you in the future.

Another one is setting up a business that he does not know how to manage, he spends millions on this business venture but eventually folds up, and he loses all his fortune because of mismanagement.

Again, it's a mystery to me, what makes people think that the only thing they need to succeed in a business they don't know a thing about is money?

Another winner is he entrusted his winnings to his relatives to claim because he did not know how to read and write and had no valid ID; he only got 20% of his total winnings because his relatives told him because of a deduction in the form of taxes.

That guy actually performed better than any of them above. At least he got something. But I don't know how can he spend his money wise if he can't read and write.

With all these examples, do you think it is important for gamblers to have a do list in case they win a huge amount, and what are the first steps they should take?

Will lock this thread after 50 replies or within five days.

First, you should win, mate, and then do the list. But do it right away after your win, that's what I think.

in another word if you want to be a writer or artist and have a second thought because AI will take your job then fear not, AI will not take your job and if it did then you simply weren't cut off to do it in the first place.

That's what I agree with. If AI can replace you, then you are not that important in your place.

219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: July 01, 2024, 11:29:26 AM
It should be something shameful of them. I thought they were up to say since they have been gambling they have never made a winning before talking about how to make productive use of it.

It is something of luck to win in gambling, and it is also a thing of choice to decide how you spend your winning rewards to it is not something of such insight like there is a curse in gambling by which you can not verily utilize your won profit.

Those of your colleagues are such that believes that profits made out of gambling are free funds and should be spent on invaluable such as they do.
What holds them to spend the money on things they think that matters a lot to them? They are just lost and need to recollect their stupid mindsets.

I think as long as they won those money, risking their own hard-earned cash, they can spend the winnings however they want. We are not here to judge them. Besides, I personally think that money obtained from gambling is not something cursed so that you will never get anything good for you from that. Anyway, won money can be spent on anything, no mater how "valuable" that thing is.

Oh i see, so i need to keep accumulating until it enouch to be claimed or changed to bitcoin, but i think it's a  very long way. I just knew about turning off the lottery, and i already checked it on the platform, but i can't find it. Did you mean changing RP for 1000% Bonus on Rewards page section?

If it was true, i think it's profitable as it said, but i don't think i can't lose some sleep just for this.

No, look, firstly click "MORE" in the upper right corner here

then click on "PROFILE", and there you will see how to disable the lottery in favour of receiving more reward points:

I've done that because I'm receiving some lottery tickets from my WoF spins anyway, and although I don't want to have no lottery tickets at all each week, I don't want to be getting more of them either.
