Most likely a scam. I've never seen any ICO with their sale active that are still not showing/providing any details of their team. They lack customer support as well. I checked their thread and they're not responding. Surely there is a local exchange in your country? I am from a country that bitcoin is not yet widely known yet we have a local exchange that allows us to buy via different payment methods available to us including bank transfers with minimal fees. May I ask where you are from? For purchasing via paypal, I can not suggest any site that I know with much lower fees than the ones you have already tried but you can try if someone will be interested in exchanging with you here in the forum. Here's the Currency Exchange board. Since You are a newbie and with no trades yet, It'll be hard for you to get a trade considering paypal is very risky.

It could be related to accessibility of online gambling, they can gamble wherever/whenever they want and also young people's money generally come from their parents, they don't know the value of money.
This plus the fact that online gambling does not require much hassle, it's easier for young people to get involved with it. I actually know a lot of people who is under 18 that gamble using cryptocurrencies in games like dice sites. They view it as a source of income and this is the reason why they keep on coming back to play more. You are right when you said that most young people do not know the value of money. It is also accurate to say that when they gamble, they do not realize the risk involved in it.

that are legit with experience and good reputation.
This is VERY good feedback. I almost moved forward with someone I found in BTT, and right before we moved forward I happened to scroll further on in the thread and found multiple complaints of no work after payment. Still looking for someone to help if you know anyone Try to contact amazix? here's their website. https://www.amazix.comthey are managing ICO promotions, not sure if they are handling reddit promotions or non ICO projects. Here's an overview of service providers here in the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2727673.0there's a list of bounty managers in there. Here's lolxx, a social media manager: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1405017.msg14257044#msg14257044he have a negative feedback because he previously promoted a ponzi campaign, so I am bot sure how legitimate this person is.

Too many bounty managers and spammers claim innocence when a project is an obvious scam. Thing is there's not even half the number of bounty participants we see that actually even read what the project is all about. Most bounty hunters I see these days are like bots that only copies and paste their weekly entry. It's good to see that there are people taking action in to these people that blindly supports possibly/scam ICOs.
|
|
|
Why create a separate thread tho? The case might be that the two are on the same team or that they are the same person who is participating the same bounty that they/he is managing. Can you clarify which thread he is bumping? Is it the bounty thread? I'm quite confuse.

bumping this up just incase people are still believing that they are legit. They're not. And they're still lying upto now.
n.exchange sent someone to talk to me just now, only to convice me to invest in their ICO.

I had this option in settings, month ago. But now, not. You can't have a signature as a newbie. Why I had it month ago? Is it a new rule? Obviously. Read the enhanced newbie restrictions here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.0If you want to wear signature, you can pay to become a copper member.

Is there any IP ban here on bitcointalk ? I think it should use it to that account.
Banned IPs can pay to remove their units of EVIL so it doesn't solve anything. See this post about the units of evil: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=711968.msg8044683#msg8044683The only way I see that people does is to link as much as alt accounts so they can punish the farmer.

Is there anyway to find the full merit history of a person because he doesn't receive any merits in last 120 days.
I use Vods' bpip.org. Here is his info: https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=bharal07He never received any merit according to there so that means that the 250 merits he have is airdropped from the moment the merit system was implemented. EDIT. It's obvious that it's a farmed account. EDIT. Possibly a bought account. The user only a full member right now then how he got 250 airdropped merits? Flaw in the merit distribution or most of his older posts got deleted since the merit system implemented? Most probably yes, the account was registered back in March but you will see that his first post was made in may. Maybe it got deleted or he deleted them himself.
