61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Fire Your Best Employee Who Is Addicted To Gambling ? on: March 18, 2024, 04:01:34 PM
For being the best employee, he does need consideration. This is the kind of guy who works hard and there could be a purpose to it like he has a family to take care of. This will hurt his family if he goes home jobless the next day.

But if I have to fire him to set an example for the rest, I will give him time to look for a new job and pay for another month or two to repay his service.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Marketing Strategies for New Casinos? on: March 17, 2024, 06:50:16 PM
Any form of marketing, no matter how trendy and effective it is, is useless if the advertised casinos aren't able to show any good offers to attract more users to the site. Before starting marketing, make sure that the platform does have something good or unique to offer.

Any marketing that you already know OP is proven effective. It's just a matter of how properly those will be executed and as I mentioned, if users can see something good on the site, the marketing will be more effective. Aside from that, since there are lots of online casinos nowadays, marketing will be tough.

Other forums are related to sports and casinos I think will still gather visitors if properly advertised in the community.  Cryptocurrency is being talked about on different platforms already and most users who have been on the internet for awhile know BTC and other coins.

I think it won't be long before the bookmakers will also start advertising on boxing forums because those are forums where bettors stick around and chat about who they are betting on.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Hardship as a global problem on: March 17, 2024, 06:05:06 PM
dont wait for nations(governments) to come fix it
the problem stems from governments allowing capitalism to shine and thats where funds get trickled up from the individual and into the central(capital) of corporations

if you are personally going hungry try to do everything you can to resolve stuff happening in your home
waiting for someone else wont happen overnight

unless you are unemployed/homeless, (on income of poor/social security), there is always ways to find enough to feed/shelter yourself
many people lived prosperously and want to remain at that living standard even in tough times, but reality is in tough times people need to adjust lifestyle to live within their means

can you downsize your housing costs (move location/move to smaller home)
can you get overtime, an extra job, promotion. a new job
can you change utility providers to cheaper rates
can you find cheaper alternatives to your meals
can you cancel/unsubscribe from subscriptions or other monthly outgoings
if you have credit cards, debts, mortgages.
  - can you temporarily switch them all to interest only/minimum payments.
      - then using the extra you then have,  to pay off the smallest debt, and then repeat

Kinda sad that we can't really rely on the government for assistance when in the first place since History's oldest annals they were created for the sole purpose of helping the public, but you're damn right. You can't depend on a concept that is actively trying its best to deafen your screams for help and is constantly blind to your struggles.

So what to do right besides mutinying and making a living amongst the mountains with the tree people? Grind as much as you can that when things fall into place you wouldn't have to worry about how to find food to eat tomorrow. Living frugally is one of the best things you can do but if I may add up, you might want to learn a new craft or skill as well that pays great. If you're already in such a bracket then look into finding another job that would act as your side hustle. As of the moment you can't really rely on a sole stream of income to lift you out of poverty anymore, and that's true even for countries like Philippines where living expenses are a little bit cheaper than the rest of the world's. Find another income stream and use that to pile up on savings and investment ventures. Once you've accumulated enough wealth that your money-making systems are already sustainably generating income for you, you can drop it off and finally retire. That's the game plan today.

Philippine government is just the same as other governments that are not helping its people. Our lawmakers are even drafting policies that will make us more vulnerable to capitalism as said by frank. More importers of products coming from other countries will come and the local producers suffer especially the farmers today who should have been the priority. We are a rice producer country but we import more rice.

The war in Middle East I think will cause more suffering as it can escalate even further since this is becoming a proxy war between powerful countries such as US, Russia and China. Those are the cause of higher price of oil and gas.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 15, 2024, 04:17:04 PM

Any chance this bill will be approved?

And its such a big amount compare to other crimes, the heck Sen Padilla. because this I think will affect Filipinos here in the forum if they proved us to be promoting casinos. I did have a medium account where I wrote  some articles about gambling and added my referral links and I did create a youtube channel for it.
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Warren Buffet has dreamt last night - he met Satoshi Nakamoto and bought 100 BTC on: March 15, 2024, 04:31:10 AM

Though its hard to believe, he really is getting desperate that he wishes someone will offer him to sell BTC for 50k?

He is probably looking for someone who had acquired their BTC illegally to be sold to him at such price. Thats sort of an announcement if this news is true.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 14, 2024, 02:27:16 PM

By the time the kid starts to learn how to use money and purchase online, I think its a good decision already to make them learn gradually. The kids expose to how the parents work like if the parents own a meatshop, eventually the kids will know how the shop works.

Teaching the kids to invest and trade I think is not so much different. They will learn how the market works and investing can be a way for them to learn more about economics and shape the kids mind into which college degree they want to take.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you continue to trust Trust Wallet? on: March 13, 2024, 03:50:51 PM

yes, I use trustwallet to make my transactions easier for BSC, until now I still trust trustwallet because I only use it to store assets and send my assets, without linking my wallet to any sites, I think it will be safe

Is the transaction cheaper in Trust wallet than on Metamask?
I think there is no difference to just store your assets on Binance exchange after all they are just owned by same company. Storing them on the exchange itself seem safer since you can ask ffor support too.

But come to think of it. Those opensource wallets, you are not also sure when those developers suddenly just modify its code without alerting users. You'd be surprise one day the opensource wallet you use for years are actually modified a day ago. Who knows, its hard to trust anyone anymore.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 13, 2024, 03:21:03 PM

It would be sweet to stop when you win of course you get to treat yourself with the money you get. However, you might lose more before you win big and it's sure is not worth stopping for you if you only win a small amount. You get to gamble again.

But no matter what if gambling is already affecting you financiaally and mentally, win or lose its time to stop. Try to be productive this time to put your focus on your job.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Is fossil fuels REALLY running out quickly, or do we still have time? on: March 12, 2024, 05:57:39 AM
I think what the officials say is true as it is, if you use too much fossil fuel, it will eventually run out. It is true that fossil fuels can be recovered from new fossils but it requires a process, so as long as we can save it is better to save it, it will be dangerous if really happened

The issue is more political knowing that they don't have much fossil fuel there compared to the ones in the middle east which is abundant. There are still regions that are not extracted yet and chances of oil being drilled in the South China Sea is possible.

There is no scarcity of these fossil fuels but if the WEF wants those countries in the Middle East to struggle economically, the one to target is the make fossil fuels bad like it affect climate change.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 12, 2024, 05:03:39 AM

I still do. Although they are just something I buy because the bull run is still going on. There are still cheaper ones that an investor could get thousands to millions of them with the investment so small.  Most altcoins are soaring already but I am aiming for the AI tokens since they are pumping, I'm hoping to make big profits from it.

When there will be dumps right now on BTC, the rest of the altcoins will also be dragged down so a small investment might just be best to do than spending more on them. I am waiting for that dump to happen since we're already due.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc new oil for USA on: March 11, 2024, 05:45:27 PM

So PetroDollar is now going to be BTCDollar?  Just something that comes up in mind about your conspiracy theory.
It is unsure though why people would need BTC just as how people can't live without oil.

The US can't be a cartel of BTC, there are so many countries that are also mining BTC so it's hard to see them take the market alone but Blackrock will have a lot of BTC for they have been buying like crazy.

72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 11, 2024, 05:19:09 PM
Today I was watching some tiktok videos and one video showed up and I think everyone has to watch this video: www.tiktok.com/@fightmma.hype/video/7344412706214038816
To spoil you, this video shows how Tyson Fury was struggling against Ngannou and then comes the video of how Joshua was playing with Ngannou like the cat plays with a mouse. I still can't believe what I watched. At first I watched the fight where Ngannou won against Tyson Fury and then, months later, I watch a fight where Joshua simply destroys Ngannou.
Now Tyson Fury is making excuses and says that he was shit when he was fighting Ngannou and if he and Jushua fights, Joshue will face absolutely different Fury.
Lots of money will be made if they fight and it will be a hella interesting.

In boxing they always say that styles make fights. Fury doesn’t have the power that Joshua has and Joshua doesn’t have the chin or stamina that Fury has. They are drastically different fighters and that’s why we saw drastically different outcomes. It doesn’t necessarily tell us who would win in a fight between them because the circumstances are entirely different. Joshua is used to overwhelming his opponents early on but when they are able to withstand his power is when he gets in trouble.

Because Fury is a smart boxer, he doesn't go toe to toe against a known KO artist, he will slowly destroy it with his good head movements and jabs. But if you look at his previous fights, you can say that he really has the power because the last 4 fights before Ngannou, it was all won via KO/TKO.

So if Fury will face AJ, I doubt AJ will win as Fury is hard to beat, he will not allow himself to be careless and try to go for a KO, AJ would love to go for a KO, so probably AJ will catch a powerful counter from Fury, I might be wrong but right now this is my take if they'll ever face.

Now that the hype is on AJ, it would be a great championship fight between the two. However, Fury is into a big fight against Usyk if he loss that would make Usyk to be the best in the heavyweight division since he already beat AJ twice, Wilder is off, and he beat Fury.

Maybe what's intesting after the Fury vs Usyk fight if Fury loss is that they will fight again in a rematch. Maybe a trilogy if Fury wins the 2nd.

Joshua vs Fury has never happened yet, if Fury lost to Usyk, it's reasonable to see Joshua and Fury fight.
I have the feeling Fury will lose against Usyk by KO. It will be sad for Fury fans to see his record have 1 loss and perhaps 2 if he fights AJ too.

There's truth to what they say that it's the punch you don't see coming that knocks you out. Francis didn't see the fist coming. The poll result is Francis Ngannou by KO, so many users must have bet for Francis to win.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 09, 2024, 07:43:23 PM
Drake 8s gradually losing too much as he recently lose another huge amount and now this one again  any ways he is a Canadian musicians with alot of influencing jobs for various brands whose among them are casinos and sport bookies like stake which may be the major sourch of his gambling funding, so he can bet in any wrong direction he wishnsince he can easily choose Frances over Anthony Joshua who is multiple time title holder, what was he thinking in Nghe first place, because even me who is not an addicted follower of those matches know the capacity of Anthony Jousha so how much more drake who is a streamer with high experience and interest in the game.

Well, he must have been convinced because of the result between Ngannou vs Tyson Fury. That fight made Ngannou so sensational that he convinced anyone to root for him even if he fight against a pro boxer. I couldn't say his boxing career is over but he might be fighting again after his PFL fight.

It was said that he made $20M in this fight alone. That is way more than a win for him than remaining in MMA.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria is set to join BRICS in May 2024. on: March 09, 2024, 06:27:47 PM

It doesn't look like the country can make the BRICS grow. But being in the middle of Africa I think can be strategic for BRICS commerce, this alone may not be enough to offer, however.

Since Russia has reduced the production of their gas, I think if the BRICS has planned to make them join, the Nigerian government will be forced to fill the gas needs for the BRICS countries.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: March 08, 2024, 07:45:21 PM

If you want to appear successful in the neighborhood, buy an expensive car. And most likely you wanna work harder as well because you need to show productivity to the public as well. Its a kind of pressure you want to have on you so that you will work harder. If you are not motivated though, just sell the car.
I couldn't say a luxurious car is a necessity however, you could just buy a motorcycle if you want.

I bought a few goats, just to make sure animals are eating the grasses around my house.  I don't even know how to take care of them.
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 07, 2024, 05:50:32 PM
I don't think it's easy not to chase our losses as gamblers because when someone isn't in the right frame of mind, they're more inclined to make rash judgments that contradict their better judgment. Although it can result in higher losses and emotional pain, causing them significant harm in their lives, if they find themselves in that situation, it is critical that they take a step back and rethink their plans to determine whether or not they want to proceed.  However, deciding not to chase our losses is not easy.
You are very right and it is always difficult for us to stop chasing loses because that may be the only way we could get more money or try to recover our loses. There are people that are too desperate and they always want to make money and have a good lifestyle. It is very hard for us to recover our loses if we don't have a strategy to do so . Life is becoming very hard these days and losing some funds in betting can be very annoying and with lots of bad energy to get over with time. If we want to make money from gambling without too much risks, we need to gamble with what we can afford.
There is no strategy that any gambler can use to chase his loss, and recover it, instead he will get more losses. This is why the advice is never to chase your losses because the house edge always win.

We should not gamble because we want to make profit, gambling is not for that but for you to have fun with it and this is why, the best way to enjoy gambling is to bet with the amount that you can afford to lose. So that why playing it, you take it that you are using the money for your stake to pay for the game. If you win fine, and if you don't win, it wouldn't be a problem to you.

It is when you are gambling for profit, that you will be tempted to stake with a big amount, so that you can win big, and when you lose, you will become emotional, and you might not let go of your lost, which will lead to chasing and losing more.

Start betting small and then chase the small loss.  I think this is what the strategy called Martingale, its not a guaranteed effective just as most of those who used it once said.

I don't know what to think of this topic. If he means Don't chase your loss is about quitting gambling, it should have been clearer if he says it that way.
But gamblers don't think that way. He may lose today but the next day he still gambles and that means he is hoping to get back whats lost yesterday.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Implications of War on Individuals on: March 07, 2024, 05:17:06 PM
It is hardly to be expected that anyone would have the idea that business can be done for survival during wartime. I think the only survival tip is to survive at any cost in any situation. The best way to think is to keep the brain as still as possible. War means destruction, destruction of the human body and mind, destruction of the economy, destruction of infrastructure, destruction of education, shelter, and medical care all basic needs are distorted. All the resources around you are very likely to be destroyed during the war, so to survive the war and develop from here, the only thing to do is to use those resources to save money through cryptocurrencies which will help you survive later.

If the billionaires are building their bunkers to hide when the shit hits the fan, maybe an ordinary person can also build his own. I think the war will not happen abruptly, there is still time. They are still not done with their bunkers.

There are war preppers on youtube who give tips to survive the apocalypse. It's after the war is where the real challenge for those who survived because the rest of those who survived are also going to kill each other for what they have.

79  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't understand you people... on: March 06, 2024, 06:20:36 PM

It looks like you know what you are doing so how come you lost your chance to make 15K during BTC price dip?
Sometimes you just don't know when exactly to buy back, it doesn't even dip into its oversold indicator but the price bounces again. To me, there isn't a real signal to see this coming. I also waited if it's going to stay at $60k for like a day but it's just a quick dip.

All I can think is that institutions are buying up BTC in the spot market and then shorting on the futures market to which, whichever the price goes, they make money.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Thriving in 2024: Should We Embrace More Crypto Fun? on: March 06, 2024, 05:45:29 PM

Its the purpose of memecoins they say, it's to make people engage and just bring more people into crypto with just a bit of knowledge about it or the market. Something fun to post on social media to get shares and likes.

SHIB went more than 200% in a week is such a massive increment in its price. Doge unnoticed since the beginning of this year but suddenly jumps to $0.18. The users who once regretted selling their doge will once gain regret it.
