61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question to hodlers:How will you spend the money? on: May 06, 2024, 04:27:41 PM
Hello,friends
The question is addressed to hodlers who have been hodling bitcoin for years
Sooner or later there will come a moment when we will sell the bitcoins we hodl and have to invest this money in something else to create passive income
It can be real estate, any business, buying land and renting it out or something else
Very few people will sell bitcoins just to spend this money in a few months,at least i don't know such people
Everyone here is a smart person and everyone here has thought about where to spend this money
That's my question

P.s. I'm a holder myself,i'm thinking about strategies and i'm interested in the opinion of other hodlers to put these ideas in my head and think about them

-Regards
The tip is to never take your feet out of the water. What I mean by this is to always keep your holdings in the crypto space no matter what happens, and even if you're planning to splurge on a large purchase.

When I was new and was not as confident as I was right now in this industry, The moment my money shot up from the 20k bitcoin ATH back in 2016 I pulled out all of my shit and made myself liquid, thinking i'm set for life with the millions that I have at that time.

I quickly realized that money when not working is easy to fade, and in a few short years I lost it all, if I had kept some of it in the crypto scene, day trading and perhaps just holding some of my coins I wouldn't have to deal with that and even now that I was able to make more money than what I once lost I still feel a little regretful that I took out all of my money in the crypto scene back then.

So yeah, just take what you really need, and nothing more. Keep your investments here.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CZ Sentenced, Your Bitcoin in their Custody on: May 06, 2024, 04:23:34 PM

https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1785384669812273570?t=ZGZzfngY_UpyDCLbq4hWTA&s=19

What next after four months,

On Tuesday, the Binance CEO CZ was sentenced to four months imprisonment all on the charges of allowing for the participation of illegal money laundry from his exchange Binance, the US government gile a lawsuit against him and charged him, same way they habe been clamping down of other privacy means in which bitcoiner can use to achieve thier goals, i don't wa t to mention the keyword bit we all know about the recent ban thst took effect since January 1st of this year 2024.

With all these happening, I suggest we should be reminded as bitcoiners on what we are made for and should not loose focus on how we can achieve our target with the use of bitcoin for our financial economy in all modules of it's applications Privacy should be our heritage with bitcoin, using centralized exchanges is the weakest means to have it, because the governments will be after you when you're under a centralized exchange, they have all your details with them.

Every bitcoiners should understand why they need to have in custody their own digital financial asset and not with third parties like exchange ss, they can be attacked, hacked and if any of these happens, our asset with them are gone, we should learn to avoid the use of exchange, hold our bitcoin on cold storages and remember that not your keys not your coins still ever remains verdict in bitcoin network.

Surprised he was only jailed for four months, people who have dealt with the same crime for less than the amount involved in this case get years and years, and this is after they have paid their fines too, which I believe ChangPeng did before in hopes of not facing jail time.

In that regard, you're right this goes to show that just keeping your money in exchange wallets are a massive death sentence, we're only able to survive by the skin of our teeth this time because Binance is secured financially and would not lose to bank runs and stuff like these. If it was a different exchange, (as evident with FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried who is jailed for 25 years) we would've been fucked sideways lol.

Anywho, hope this becomes a wakeup call for the newbies and people who are like me once upon a time, die-hard fans of Binance and internet protector of CZ to maybe check and transfer all their assets in their cold wallets.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden Final Warning for Bitcoin on: May 06, 2024, 04:17:55 PM
The thing is that there isn't really much threat nowadays to bitcoin, and unless some super sentai hackerman from the Power Ranger's Universe intervenes and does the unthinkable, there wouldn't be much need for increased privacy.

Especially nowadays when the main selling point of bitcoin is the anonymity that it provides, but not so much anonymity that it hampers with the government's attempts at regulating it, we wouldn't really be able to implement such a major change in bitcoin's system nowadays, especially since governments are just starting to understand and accept how bitcoin works. Doing something as major as this will make countries who were once tolerant of bitcoin immediately pull out from their decisions.

Plus heightened privacy means heavier to deal with transactions, and I don't need to tell you how much fucked up the transaction traffic of bitcoin is, so yeah, this thing's getting canned for the meantime, sorry Edward Snowden, we know you mean good but for now, convenience is king.
64  Other / Meta / Re: SUGGESTION FOR OUR FORUM on: May 06, 2024, 04:05:17 PM
Admin/Mod of this Forum. I would suggest you to make a sub forum that Can create topic titled " AIRDROP & TESTNET ".

We know that many peoples need Tutorial about Testnet and Airdrops. There are so many Airdrops especially that I want to share to peoples, and I will help them to support the way to do the tasks of the Airdrop. So we need a Special sub-forum that can create topic about Airdrop and Testnet, so People can share at each other too for any specific project(airdrop/testnet). Btw, I'm good enough in Researching of Airdrops and Testnet that has potention for rewarding people, and I can give info about the Partnerships and Backers of the Project (airdrop/testnet), but the most important thing is I can lead people to the right way, because so many project that Imitating or scam newbie, Hope I can give my best For This. Thanks Admin/Mod.
I think airdrops aren't as big as they are these days, and the only reason why you would warrant for a particular board to be made for it is if people are actively looking for this in the forum, and so far I haven't seen people beg theymos to really do it lol.

Also saw this feature being added in the Altcoinstalk forum, since it's pretty much a sister-website of this very same forum, why not just go there and check it yourself? Pretty sure whatever content they are going to put in there's probably going to be the same shit that would be in here if bitcointalk had its own airdrop section. Adding something that you could just check out on a different site, especially something similar to this forum foremost is just a waste of effort in my opinion, especially now that there are a good amount of peeps from bitcointalk posting their shit in Altcoinstalk ever since the ban on mixers within this forum.

So yeah, sometimes your answers are just a few clicks away, honestly could be a good thing if airdrops are still selling like hotcakes, but as it stands today, it's just going to be a waste of effort for the main blokes.

65  Other / Meta / Re: How Can We Identify Someone Who Uses AI? on: May 06, 2024, 03:59:53 PM
The use of AI to make a quality post is a big offense in this Forum and I believe we still have members who are still doing as we speak.
I can't tell why they do it or is it because of how the high ranked members preach so much about making quality post before you earn merit that's the cause of people using AI to post or is there something we need to know that's the cause of breaking this rule.
How can we wash off this ill behavior? Because I know the offenders know it's not good and they know the implications if found doing it. What's the best thing to do to stop the use of AI from going on in this Forum?
As of the moment there is no real way for you to automatically detect whether someone's using AI or someone's fetching info from good old ChatGPT, but there are copy checkers out there that have been able to flush out AI content a good amount of time.

Although let me just get one thing out of the way, do not use Copyleaks to check for the validity of a certain comment. They have been known across twitter and reddit to have been erroneous in providing valid results. Someone across the internet fed it the fist chapter of the Bible and Tagged it as AI, and I've been accused of being an AI writer myself in my main line of work by new clients all cause they use copyleaks, which is a fucking bummer and a kick in the balls to my principle and morals as a writer myself.

So if you're going to get in there and check whether someone's content is AI, first check with your intuition, and then use a reputable AI checker, then post it in reputation with screenshots to show for it so you don't look like a goofball accusing someone of using AI without verifiable evidence.
66  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin advertisements are a bit outdated on: May 06, 2024, 03:54:20 PM
Recently, I came over a Bitcoin advertisement from Bitcointalk (theymos has enabled some advertisements for Bitcoin itself) but it seems some statements are a bit outdated.

For example, one advertisement says Bitcoin is still beta software and it looks like more like a statement from a Bitcoin critic:

Personally, I would not expect such a statement in a Bitcoin forum because after 15 years, Bitcoin is very proven and not really beta software anymore.

Maybe it's time to remove some advertisement slogans once getting outdated?

These are not advertisements, they are factoids, which as the name implies are some snippets of information and good-to-know shit about bitcoin and blockchain, these days except for a few of those timeless advices these are regarded by many as relics of a decade old forum board, which we keep for sentimental purposes (I think, don't quote me on that one).

So while these things are outdated, at least some of them I think, the thing is that they won't go anywhere, they don't harm anyone anyway, and at the end of the day, it's really cool having some sort of piece of the past actively being put out as some sort of easter egg every now and again when you make a post (far as I know there is a certain rarity to these things, not sure what the exact percentage is but if I'm not mistaken it's somewhere in the ballpark of 9-20 percent)

So yeah, next time you see these factoids instead of focusing on how outdated they are, perhaps look at it as something that shows you this forum and this industry stood the test and challenges of time, and became stronger than ever.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: We need higher wages off course but goverment need to do one thing on: May 06, 2024, 03:46:58 PM
In USA 3000$ minimum Europe 300€-3500€ minimum wage i think UK there 4000$ minimum. Wage
But goverment need to regulate just
Rent prices , energy prices ,food prices.
So If you want to put food price up then you need to be approved by goverment only then you can go over price limit.
We need wages up but same time our regular costs need to be not go over limits.

So things we need goverment must keep prices check becouse the economy is playground and goverment duty is to be judge that everybody play fair game.

In a way you're right, but there are just some things the government can't do on its own, Economy is that particular thing on one hand.

The government can raise the salaries of everyone to meet the standards of living of every social hierarchy in your country but if they don't do something about the economy, shit will hit the fan and they wouldn't be able to recover from it. There are nuances in this type of discussion that would require them to really look on both sides and be smart with managing the salary of the regular people, and appeasing the elites who mobilize the economy.

Plus the fact that you're insinuating they put price freeze on shit is a classic way to shoot yourself in the foot. The Philippines did that in 2006-2007 with their price freeze on gas, and instead of this maneuver helping the regular joe, it only turned out worse for everyone as manufacturers impose taxes on the product itself that are more cutthroat.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: cryptocurrency market changes in April on: May 06, 2024, 03:33:06 PM
In April, the cryptocurrency market overall exhibited a downward trend, with the total market capitalization declining by 11% by the end of the month. This decline was primarily influenced by changes in expectations of interest rate cuts, geopolitical risks, and a slowdown in the flow of Bitcoin spot ETFs. However, regulatory approval of several spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in Hong Kong injected some hope into the market, with six cryptocurrency-based spot ETFs commencing trading in Hong Kong.

The DeFi market experienced a relatively calm period in April, with a slight monthly decrease of 0.7%. However, the total locked value (TVL) of liquidity staking token protocols steadily increased, surpassing $10 billion in April. Besides the liquidity advantages of liquidity restaking tokens (LRTs), “point farming” emerged as a major driver of growth, attracting users to participate in protocols to earn points for future airdrops.

The total supply of US dollar-pegged stablecoins has shown a significant upward trend this year, reaching $160 billion in April, the highest level in nearly two years. Stablecoins have become a crucial indicator of demand in the cryptocurrency market, especially amidst heightened market volatility. First Digital’s FDUSD and Ethena’s USDe notably performed well in this trend, with increases of 80.0% and 52.3%, respectively.

The TON network continued to attract attention in April, with the TVL in DeFi reaching a historic high of $170 million and monthly active addresses reaching 1.7 million. The growth of Toncoin’s on-chain metrics was primarily driven by the launch of “The Open League” initiative. Additionally, partnerships with HashKey Group were announced to provide on- and off-ramp services for Telegram wallet users in the Asia-Pacific region.

Despite experiencing some volatility in April, the cryptocurrency market maintains its resilience, with stablecoins playing a crucial role. However, as market participants continue to enter the space, risks such as smart contract and protocol-specific risks increase. The future trajectory of the cryptocurrency market will depend on global economic conditions, regulatory policies, and ongoing technological innovations.
You know, the one thing that really sells the DeFi narrative to me is the fact that out of all the narratives that propelled previous bull runs, it was the only one that remained and stood strong.

1. ICOs and Coin Offerings died down because clowns are using it to propel personal agenda and are stealing off of the people who are none-the-wiser with their schemes, this is despite ICO being a very good idea for crypto projects, allowing people who are really interested in the project to get the first whiff ahead of everybody else.

2. NFTs, they are really cool for a while but when people realize they are like the Tulip mania, the hype around them died down. Since then it became a staple but projects generally veer away from them as they are seen by many a veteran in this industry as nothing but an attempt at cash-grabbing

Decentralized Finance on the other hand, still remained up and running, projects who do not include them are shit and memecoins, and those who include them in their roadmap are destined to succeed. Goes to show that when you pay the people, they love and would love to keep that feature up! Who would've thought?

This is pretty off-topic I know, but I'm just out here voicing my appreciation for DeFi, despite it being very lowkey these days.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Your aging and retirement plan is your responsibility. on: May 06, 2024, 03:20:27 PM
I came from a society where majorities are not bothered about their retirement plans, Some do have the financial resources but due because of financial revenue opportunities, they feels so reluctant and comfortable without considering that depending on the government opportunities could get to an end somedays. I don't know if they ever have the picture imaginarily about how their old ages times would be.

While I've come way too far thinking about this as I also goes around the towns and sees old people aging so helplessly as they're vulnerable, I fear not to be in such situations so then, I'm striving on making positive differences.
I've decided to have a diverse of my bitcoin investment for my retirement purpose.
At some points in life, you don't expect to be thought lessions before you could learn but you can learn from others experiences.
I live in a country where talking about what would happen to your family when you die is a massive taboo, even weirder to talk about how they'd go on if you can't save something to them, in a manner of speaking this is just as similar as setting up a retirement plan, cause you're literally prepping yourself and your family for when you can't work anymore.

With that being said, This is why I always advocate to having a retirement/insurance plan. Knowing that you got your family even when you're not here anymore is one of the most assuring things you can do as a provider. And your kids, if you're planning to have any, is going to thank you for it too. I've seen one too many kids in my place alone grow up resenting their parents cause they either died with nothing to give to them, not even a piece of advice or some shit, or they have grown resentful because they didn't prepare for when they are finally retiring, and are highly dependent upon the income of their kids who are also planning to have a life ahead of them like idk, normal human beings.

So do yourself a favor, and do your family as favor, prepare for the day you die, your family will thank you for it.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: May 06, 2024, 03:13:32 PM
People's financial situation is not always the same as we have enough money now but in the future we may not have enough money to spend. Now we have enough money so now I will go out of my way to spend money as I want for no reason then later when I don't have enough to spend but no one else will give me money to spend. It is a fact that as long as you have money and as long as you spend money behind others people will speak for you and people will be with you but if one day you want to walk with them without spending money then you will find no one to walk with. Since money brings people closer and money drives people away, money should be given the most importance.

The amount of money that we are earning now is divided into several parts and the remaining money is the money but if we want we can invest or save so that if there is a financial crisis in the future but this saved money will support us well.

We must be careful about money, if you are careful about money then there is no problem if people call you stingy because some people's job is to say bad things about others.
Being very smart with your money is just one side of the equation, you gotta be able to learn how to make your money work for you as well. Money is a tool, it's not a luxury that you put above all else. You have to know the best ways that work for you on how to make money even while you're sleeping. Investing, learning how to put your money on timed deposits that yield millions, insuring yourself with retirement plans that include premium stipulations, so even if you don't use them you're able to work with something cause you're getting something.

There's a lot of stuff out there that you could if you want to really make your money work, besides saving it for the rainy days of course. You just have to be very curious, be a researcher, and pulse your shit on stuff that you think would work for you and wouldn't. Once you're able to do that, success will ensue. Oh and one more thing, don't let the stress and the depression of losing it all once get to you, remember, soon as you get your first milli you already made it, all you need to do is memorize the formula and you're good to go.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting a business without capital. on: May 06, 2024, 02:59:25 PM
Is very possible starting up a business without capital all you need is your ability of pursuing success.
Affiliate marketing is a business you can venture into without capital and still make good money from it, even more than some businesses started with capital.
Affiliate marketing is the process by which a person earns a commission for marketing another person's products.
All you need to start this business is good communication skill in other to sell the product of the other person and get a commission for doing that.
You can decide to market product of different company or person's at same time by doing this you are sure that everyday someone will buy from one of those product's there by making money every day.
When you become an expert in affiliate marketing you will start making profit every day of your life.
I think this is possible, I've seen a lot of people with really awesome ideas either selling their product/service ideas to those who have the power to make it happen, or they ask funding from those who already made it in the business world, as well as mentorship. Shows like Shark Tank are a really good example of this happening.

But even then, sometimes depending on the product you're trying to sell you could just cut the middleman and start your venture even without money, Facebook, Microsoft, and the biggest tech giants in the past have been able to start their success stories in the blistering heat and discomfort of their garages and bunkbeds inside dorms, if you're trying to create a similar product, you might just be able to, but always remember that whatever you don't pay with money, you're paying with something else of equal importance to you. Time, Health, relationships with the people around you, these will be tested  as you try to make it out of the ladder. it will be up to you if those are more important than the success you're seeing for yourself.
72  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What were you told about the slave trade. on: May 06, 2024, 02:55:53 PM
Fucked up topic if you'll have to ask me, but let me chip in since my ancestors are sold into slavery as well and I feel like I have a say in this topic.

The thing is that, the only ones that are really able to benefit out of the forced labor that they implemented against the people of old times are the countries who facilitated these slave trades as well. America was founded in the blood, sweat and tears of the Locals, and the Africans that they shipped to the states, since then it became the capitalist's paradise but at the end of the day, the dreams it sold to the people only benefited whites, or privileged people who gained power through the decades benefiting from the same abuse that their ancestors suffered from.

The Philippines is a good example too, while you could say that we are far better being more urbanized than if we remained unconquered by the Spaniards, they haven't really implemented that much into us besides the centuries of abuse and Christianity, the rest we got from the US who also colonized us mind you.

So yeah, Slavery is not helpful in any way whatsoever, and even if it was, it doesn't justify you treating someone like they are below you.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Fever. What are your range of thoughts in response to Lucky Winners? on: May 06, 2024, 02:42:16 PM
Definitely paints the idea that you could be the next guy that would hold that big check, but at the same time, if you're a sensible human being with common sense, you'd realize that the odds of you being that guy is just slim to none, and that guy who won the lottery? There's a really good chance he's not gonna win it again, so he better make the money count or it's donezo.

Not saying you guys shouldn't shoot your shot, especially since tickets are just cheap, but if you go out there hoping you're the next big millionaire on TV, you're just a tad bit delusional. So same as with regular gambling, people who play the lottery should also just play for the lols and not really hope that they are the next guy. The moment they do they'd end up spending more than they are supposed to, which would end up with them spending more time and effort, and especially money on an ordeal as trivial as the lottery.

Be smarter as usual, don't let your feelings get the better of you. Gambling is good but if you get in there hoping you'd win and all that shit, you'll be the next guy that it'll chew up and spit out.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you do if you find yourself in a similar situation like this? on: May 06, 2024, 02:26:19 PM
So, ladies and gents,

Here is a dude who parents trusted well enough to save their money in his bank account, that is, father of this dude (according to the dude) saved all his money on his son's (the dude) bank account, the dude went ahead to start doing sports betting with the money, and like this like this normally turns out most of the time, he eventually lost all the money the father saved with him without the parents knowing.

Later on, the parents found out and became very angry with him, he is thinking of how to handle the situation but doesn't know exactly what to do,
And let's say he somehow manages to replace the money, either by means of borrowing or working menial jobs to raise the money, will his parents ever trust him again to save large sum of money with him?

Assuming you find yourself in a similar situation as this, what will you do? How will you handle the situation to make your parents trust you again?

Where are you getting all these stories from lol, these are insane!

On another note though, it's just a fucking rookie mistake that newbies shouldn't really do. We keep telling these new folks, Do not gamble with money that they can't afford to lose, and do not gamble with money that isn't theirs to use, more so take out a loan too just so they can facilitate their gambling indulgences, pretty stupid thing to do if you'll ask me. When gambling, the first thing that you have to take into account is making sure that the money you'll be playing with is money that you can lose and you'd still be okay with.

To all the kids in here, DO NOT GAMBLE at all, your brains are not that formed well enough for you to really fathom the repercussions of losing a huge amount of money, so just stay away from it. For young adults who are legally able to get into casinos already, just make sure you're not gambling from your dad's pockets or whatever, be more responsible, be smarter and don't go out spending out money that was not yours in the first place. Do not be like this guy.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double your money and quite on: May 06, 2024, 02:12:36 PM
Hi everyone,

The way you play, which we can consider your playing strategy, plays an important role in determining your profit or loss, like other factors.

For me, when I play, I enter with the intention of double the amount of money and stop. This method may be followed by some people, and I do it sometimes. I determine the amount of money that I will gamble with, for example $100 and I try to get $200 and leave the casino or site if the plan worked  very well. If I am unlucky, once I lose $100, I will leave without adding a penny. What is interesting here is that even if I win, I stop and do not deviate from the scope of the plan. In such situations, especially when winning, the gambler may become greedy, and this may change the course of the game   .

What do you think of this method?
Is there anyone among you who does it?
Give us one of your winning strategies, of course if that is possible.
That's one way to go for it, but honestly that's way harder than just being very smart with your wins and making sure you're able to damage control when you lose. 9 times out of 10 you're going home with less  than what you have soon as you step into the casino, there's just no way around it. Trying to gamble for the win is an arduous task, even more harder when the only games you play are just chance-based and not those that you can win by being a little bit more clever against your opponent/the banker.

In that regard, just learn how to be very smart with your gambling journey, be sensible and learn how to stop when you gotta stop, pushing for more wins in a setting where you're expected to lose 99% is not only some avengers level type of shit, but is also a little stupid when you dig deeper.

Don't play for the win, play because you want to gamble and it doesn't matter if you win or lose, and in the event that you do lose, you have shit set up that would allow you to at least secure your bankroll without incurring too much loss.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: May 06, 2024, 02:04:48 PM
Greetings everyone and happy new year all!

Okay, today I was actually out for a little business and it happens that I almost spent all my time wasted without me even having a smooth deal, but along the line I have few games that I have placed a bet and was wanting to view my games from my phone since gambling is now mobile, what I meant by mobile is that you can access your account at any place provided that you have an internet connectivity you will login to monitor your matches.

So when I logged in, someone close to me easily peep from my left hand side and noticed that I just opened my account monitoring my games, at this point what he said is "ahh you don join dem"? Meaning you have also belong to the groups of people that gambles?

On a lighter note, I just smile and asked him if there is anything wrong while gambling or while monitoring my games and he said nothing but just that few people he knew that are gambling almost turned useless.

This now triggered me to come ask here whether you cares about what people says or sees you as when gambling, I know there are people who don't know you from time or who doesn't believe that you are a gambler and if it happens that you came across such people and their reaction towards you goes other way round would you care about it or you just totally ignore them?

Let's discuss amicably
Last thing you should really worry about is the opinion of the people that are around you. Not unless they are giving you sound advice that is. Here's the breakdown. You have people around you telling you shit that you shouldn't listen to, like people urging you to play more, or to make more bets, or perhaps to give them a share of your winnings. But on the other hand, people closest to you telling you to be more responsible when you're gambling, to learn more how to budget and make sure that you're able to make the most out of the wins that you're able to bag throughout your gambling session, those are just some of the shit that you really have to pay heed to.

The thing is that you need to filter out the people you pay mind to, against those that you know yourself you have to avoid. Soon as you're able to do that, what you'll end up with is a circle of trusted people that you know will give you top-tier advice and would allow you to be very efficient and smarter with your gambling journey.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 06, 2024, 01:43:02 PM
Gambling is becoming a popular thing in my locality almost everyone gamble and even colleagues gamble and engage in gambling related discussions at work,  so gambling is legal and very popular so there is no Shame in using part of a salary to gamble with that is why I am asking the question of what the right percentage from my salary that I should use to gamble?
Ideally you shouldn't dedicate a portion of your budget when you gamble, cause that paints the image in your head subliminally that you're prepping yourself for something like gambling, which is not supposed to be something you should look out for. I think you should not give in to peer-pressure too, just because gambling is becoming a more widespread activity amongst your countrymen and colleagues doesn't mean it's the best thing to do out there, better yet not the most productive thing you could do out of your spare time. Pretty sure these people when unchecked will end up becoming gambling addicts and a menace to society once shit hits the fan and they don't have money to splurge on gambling anymore, if you wanna end up like these people then go for it.

Gambling out of peer-pressure is one of the most stupidest things you could do to yourself, you're literally digging your own grave just because your friends are telling you to do it. Research, find out for yourself if gambling is really for you, don't go out there thinking it's good to gamble cause the hot co-worker told you she's gambling.

I beg a pardon if a thread like this has existed here.

I have been around my gambling friends and I have always acted to be 100% sticking to my gambling budgets such as how many times, a specific time and how much to spend on my gambling.
Once awhile I actually breaks that budget but though it does not affect my daily life and my bankrolls.
I literally claim this righteousness on my friends who are running out of their emotional control from gambling and psychologically I expects them to have me as an example whom they should emulate from in other to be recalled and take back control of their emotions while gambling.

Does any of you guys have any negative side of gambling habit in you which literally you advices anyone not to exhibit it?
Or can you afford to hide your real disreputable gambling life just to help an astray gambling friend or relative?
I mean, you could do whatever you link, bring out advices to people when you think they need them and all that shit, but you have to remember that the only person you're really fooling in this situation is yourself. You know for a fact that you go overboard and that you are in no way "a responsible gambler", and yet you go out there thinking you're the perfect example to your friends of how you should really gamble.

Nothing wrong about it if your friends end up switching their lifestyles and going for a healthier approach at gambling, but at the end of the day you better be ready for the consequences and the ensuing distrust and clowning once they find out you're not really who you're painting yourself to be. Perhaps a good change of approach is actively assist them in how to achieve a more responsible gambling attitude, so you don't end up looking like the fraud you are to these people and you're also learning how to be responsible as a gambler yourself. Hitting two birds with one stone so to speak.

If you need information and resources on how to do so this forum is a treasure trove of that. Just pick which ones work for your situation and you should be good to go.

Casinos existed without the need for KYC's until the government made it a requirement, and they started demanding it. IMO If the government no longer requires casinos to do KYC verification for new gamblers, casinos will go ahead and still do KYC verifications because they have seen the benefits of knowing their customers better than when they just allowed people to come onto their platform and gamble without their knowledge of who they were. What do you think? Do you think some casino's will revert back to non-KYC and allow money launderers, plus other fraudulent people have their easy way with them as a way to attract customers, or since they recognize the personal benefits of KYC to their casino, will continue demanding it even if it affects their customers?
Could be the case, could not be. Depends on what really matters for the casino itself. The quality of the customers they serve, or the amount of customers who can just walk in on their sites without any issues or qualms about verifying their identities and shit?

I feel like some casinos will definitely choose quality over quantity, and would retain the use of KYC, besides, it's much more tiresome to delete a feature than to keep it as it is when no one's enforcing its removal anyway. On the other hand, there will be casinos that would immediately take the verification system off as they themselves see this as nothing but a shackle that keeps them from expanding to gamblers who are exclusively gambling on casinos with no KYC requirement, no matter how small or niche that community is.

In years past before the casino and other online gambling bet platforms was discovered and brought to our knowledge, I and some family relatives used to play the card games but on the sequence some of us were becoming unserious in the game that it wasn't competitive so, we decided to have stakes with little amount of cents of $ which we could afford to loose just to buckle and cheers everyone up.
Time goes where we increases the stakes to make us more serious to the extend we began to bet about $1 which we can afford to loose at other expenditures but it seems unbearable loosing it on the caused of betting.
On a serious note, we saw this as a mere bet of competitions and not as gambling. As we advances, we saw it as a domestic gambling and not as the wild gambling that could cause one emotional outbreaks.

Time goes that it becomes unusual that we began to feel offenced and rebelled that we as relatives(1 family) are extorting from each other without empathy for one another and then, we unconciously grew wild developing in sentiments, greeds and taking it as an avenue to make profits.
Alongside, it was more of serious business than the just fun.

Then the casino and other online bet platforms was introduced in time. This was how I was exposed and my begining of gambling life!
I do not understand the point of this post like, are you trying to be a cautionary example to people who have been afflicted with gambling addiction, are you trying to set an example of someone who's more responsible towards gambling, in which I'd like to say you suck cause you didn't even give us anything to be inspired by or whatever, or are you trying to share your story for the sake of sharing it, in which I'd tell you you're not as unique as you think you are, cause most of us here started that way as well, from friend and family gatherings that were once unserious turned into a more competitive setting, then we get tired of the low-stakes of it all and decided that we need more zazz when we gamble which turned into this lifestyle.

Not here to hate or anything (although it may sound or look like that), but we got enough spammers in this board already, make a pointless post and you're just adding up to the general spam and lack of good content, be more sensible with your posts, don't just post for shit.
